On Friday’s episode of ABC’s General Hospital, as Ava tries to save herself from certain doom, she gets Agent Boyle to admit that Cates has evidence on her that will ruin her life and career. Ava (Maura West) tells Boyle she cannot trust Cates at all! Next, a desperate Ava grabs the steering wheel of the car.

As the car swerves, Isaiah who has made to Port Charles from Africa, in an effort to help Lucky (Jonathan Jackson), is running across the road when he is struck. Will Ava and Boyle help Isaiah, or flee the scene? Stay tuned.

Meanwhile, Sawandi Wilson took to his Instagram telling his followers and friends about his new GH role. In a video, Wilson started by expressing, “I just wanna say thank you to everybody who supported me from the very beginning, from: Battle of the Year to Harlem to La Casa de las Flores to Star Trek to now General Hospital.”

About his General Hospital role as Isaiah, Wilson shared. “I’m really excited, guys “Everybody’s been amazing and I got to do some really cool stuff. So tune in and take a look. Peace.”

Anybody get a sense of Deja Vu here? Remember when the thawed out “Jasoncicle” (who later turned out to be Drew) first arrived in Port Charles… and was runover by Ava in a stolen SUV?

I remember that well!!! Might even have been the same corner where belle delivered Wiley!!! Time for a different route perhaps

Jezz yes pls
That road is never busy anyone ever notice this as well

Who’s Belle?

Think she means Nelle, because she’s the one who had Wiley.

If I recall correctly, Jordan was in the car with Ava and took the blame.

Later, Drew would return “the favor” when he blacked out and ran into Jordan in the garage causing her to need a kidney transplant.

Excited to have a new hunky cast member that’s a DOCTOR! Finally. General Hospital has no front burner Doctors. Heck the Hospital isn’t even front burner anymore.

Since Isiah is the Doctor – I am hoping the car crashes instead of hurting him.

Hope the show is working to change the center of activity back to the Hospital. Looking back on past years, someone was always getting banged up (Jason/Sonny) or going in there for other reasons. The residents of PC need to get sick, go to therapy groups, get in accidents so they are at least in the Hospital more often.

Guessing that the car crash may put someone in GH and we at least have Lulu in there for the foreseeable future.

So welcome Sawandi Wilson.

I’m hoping when the paramedics bring him into GH, Elizabeth is the first one to see him and she says “Hey, that’s my cousin Tommy!”

Yes. I hope so too. He can tell Elizabeth where Lucky is. Then she can tell Laura. Then they can find him. Then he can help LuLu. Problem solved. Hopefully. Maybe. We’ll see. God I hope so. Please God.

what about TJ, isn’t he a doctor?

I’m thinking that when Lucky finally arrives at GH, all banged up, he’ll not only find his buddy but Lulu, holding on by a thread.

My first thought when I saw him run out and that car coming towards him. Was they were gonna hit him and he’ll die. Making him just a short term. But they’ll find out he is a organ donor and his liver will be a match for Lulu whose condition was said getting worse. Then when Laura,Kevin and Lucky get back to Port Charles they’ll learn while they were away a liver became available from a car accident victim and Lucky will Learn it was his friend Isiah. I could see Isiah still appearing but in flash backs. Feeling in gaps.

I think this Dr. friend of Lucky’s will be more than a flash-back, possibly someone for Trina, unless he’s too old, than maybe T.J’s mom.

I’m wondering if he’s somehow connected to RJ Gannon and Hank Gannon from someone like to live and they’re going to tie this in to that storyline

Say What?

Hi Voilet

RJ and Hank Gannon are One Life To Live characters.

Oh for Hell’s sake….

Just when you thought we were done with the OLTL crossover dragonshit and it looked like they were trying to be General Hospital again.

If he’s not Tommy Hardy Jr, then he’s not needed. I’m all for rebooting the original families of Port Charles. The Spencers are back. Would be great to see some Hardys. Find Serena Baldwin, where ever she’s hiding (not that I blame her for staying out of town… because all of Scotty’s other kids – none of whom grew up knowing he was their father- all ended up dead)

I think the Gannon brothers is a very very reach. They do tie to Nora Buchanan, she was Hank Gannon’s wife prior to Bo. Hank was the D.A. and RJ was an ex-con

It’s the same ol same ol every other year

Life or the soaps ?

Who is he I don’t remember him at all I hope he will tell lucky mom about him where he at

Let’s hope it’s the driver that dies in the crash and she is Lulu’s liver donor. The new doctor saves Ava and gives a fake identity to protect himself from the bad guys who are after him. But he’ll eventually be on staff and his expertise will save Lulu. He also might be related to Cutis as his nephew. How does that sound?

I did not see what happened was there an escape and lucky didn’t make it?

This week on all-new episodes of General Hospital, new and old motivations come into play with dangerous consequences. According to the just released GH video spoilers video for the week of August 3-7, a bailiff calls out, “All rise!”

Now it’s Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) vs. Curtis (Donnell Turner), as the surgeon is suing the owner of the Savoy for assault that ruined is ability to operate. At the end of the day, which of these men has enough evidence against the other? Portia (Brook Kerr) is by Isaiah’s side, while Jordan (Tanisha Harper) is with Curtis.

Next, Lucy (Lynn Herring) has a plan to get the controlling shares of Deception away from Michael (Rory Gibson). She wants her daughter, Serena (Kelly Kruger) to seduce Michael. Later, there is a small baggie containing three blue pills. Nina (Cynthia Watros) ask Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), “What did you do?” We also see Michael asking the same thing of Jacinda (Paige Herschell). Leading into this week, viewers know that Willow doesn’t want the former escort anywhere near her children, Amelia and Wiley. Is this how she stops her, or is Jacinda up to old tricks and wants to frame Willow? Remember when Jacindsa drugged Drew (Cameron Mathison)? Stay tuned.

Finally, in the pick-up from last Friday’s cliffhanger, an emotional Jason (Steve Burton) continues to tell Sonny (Maurice Benard) that he cannot work for him anymore. Sonny ask, “So that’s it? You’re Out?” We fade to black.

Vincent Pastore, best known for his memorable role as Salvatore “Big Pussy” Bonpensiero on HBO’s The Sopranos has passed away.

The veteran actor was found dead on August 1st in his home in the Bronx, New York. Pastore was 80-years-old. The cause of death is yet to be determined.

As well as his role on The Sopranos, many soap fans will recall he played multiple smaller roles on the beloved One Life to Live from 1995 and 2004. However, in 2008, he landed the short-term role as Maximus Giambetti on General Hospital.

PASTORE WANTED TO BE ON GENERAL HOSPITAL

Maximus was the mobster father of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) bodyguards: Max (Derk Cheetwood) and Milo (Drew Cheetwood)

According to Soap Opera Digest, Pastore told Soaps In Depth back in 2009, after appearing in a SOAPnet promotional campaign as a celebrity fan of General Hospital: “‘I’d love to be on the show. So they called up GH’s casting director (Mark Teschner) and Bobby (Robert Guza Jr. ex-head writer, GH) and they wrote me in!”

Pastore was a huge General Hospital fan from way back, who at one point told producers that he would watch the ABC soap opera while working in bars and nightclubs in the 70s and 80s.

Throughout his decades long career, Pastore appeared in films including: Goodfellas, Carlito’s Way and Men of Respect, The Jerky Boys: The Movie and the 1996 HBO TV movie Gotti.

In TV, besides The Sopranos, Pastore’s credits included: Law & Order, The Practice, Son of the Beach, Queens Supreme, Hawaii Five-0, Wu-Tang: An American Saga, plus the miniseries The Last Don II. Most recently, Vincent was a series regular on Gravesend and guest starred on Yellowjackets.

Pastore is survived by his daughter, Renee, son-in-law and granddaughter.
