Scott Reeves Returning to General Hospital as Steven Webber
Fan favorite, Scott Reeves is returning on-screen to General Hospital in the role of Steven Webber, 11 years after he left his role. As is in soap opera, the character was recently mentioned in story (which is always a clue they are not far behind) when his half sister, Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst), noted that Steven had been released from prison, where he had been serving time for the death of a patient, but that he would unlikely come back to Port Charles due to his tarnished relationship with his mother, Heather Webber (now Alley Mills, previously Robin Mattson).
According to TV Insider, Reeves will appear beginning on the upcoming October 24th episode. However, from his interview with the outlet, it appears Steven’s time in Port Charles will be limited as Reeves is already back in Tennessee where he lives with his wife, Melissa Reeves (Jennifer, Days of our Lives).
Those will recall, that Steven was arrested the day he was going to marry Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) back in 2013 and exited the soap opera. Scott said of reprising Steven Webber, “Steven did his time, he’s been out of prison for a few months now and has been living in Sedona, Arizona trying to start over and figure out what life is supposed to look like at this point. He lost his medical license, obviously, when he went to prison (for killing a comatose patient, who was a murderer, to save a child) but he felt justified in it.”

From all indications, Reeves will indeed share scenes with his on-screen mother now played by Alley Mills.”It was great to meet and work with Alley Mills. She is so hilarious and plays that role to the hilt,” he expressed. Steven will also see Elizabeth to which Reeves shared, “It was so great to see Becky again. That was like reuniting with family because Becky and I are close outside of GH. She really was like my younger sister.”

It appears that when wife Melissa Reeves was over at Days of our Lives filming new episodes, that Scott came out to Los Angeles to tape GH, adding, “She was going to work and I was going to work over at GH, which was our whole life for decades. It was like a time capsule and it felt like it did before we had kids.”
Scott says his latest GH experience left him wanting to play Steven again even more, “I told Frank (Valentini, EP, GH) ‘I forgot how much I loved it. I’ve been doing other things, but this was like putting on a really, really comfortable pair of jeans. It was so comforting to get to work with everybody again and fall back into the lives of those characters. I would be totally open to coming back because I think there’s so much potential with Steven. Anytime they want me back, I’m there.”’

The actor first appeared on daytime in the role of Jake on Days of our Lives in 1988. Later, Reeves joined The Young and the Restless as Ryan McNeil, a part he played from 1991-2001. He then joined General Hospital as Steven Lars Webber back in 2009 until 2013.
GH has recently boosted its male characters with the arrivals of Jonathan Jackson as Lucky, Van Hansis as Lucas, Rick Heart as Ric and now Scott Reeves as Steven.
So, are you looking forward to seeing Scott making a return as Steven Webber on GH? Comment below.
I am thrilled Steven Lars and Scott Reeves are receiving a return engagement. The character needs to be given a clean slate and his situation given closure.
I really could do without Heather Webber and hope her son’s return may facilitate an exit. That character has been ruined in recent years. We can move on.
I am old enough to remember when Steven Lars was born. The baby drama with Peter and Diana Taylor, Heather gaslighting and murdering her. The triangle among Jeff, Heather, and Anne. It was soooooo good. Real suspense and surprise.
Seems GH is cleaning up it’s story bible and righting wrongs for characters and families we love and have missed. That might keep us from seeing what CBS has Beyond the Gates weekdays at 2pm come January.
I recall fondly the original PJ is Steven Lars story and the lazy Susan, etc.
However, in both incarnations, adult Steve was a boring character. I’m glad they are revisiting the character, but thankfully it is short term.
Beyond the Gates will air at different times across the nation. In most west coast markets it will likely air at 1pm – creating a a 3 1/2 hour soap block starting at 11:30 with Y&R through GH’s episode ending at 3pm.
I’d be happy to see him return full-time. It seems like GH is rounding out a lot of families with all the recent returns. I like it.
Familiar faces with legacy ties are always good.
Can you just for once just stop
The hate we are in the worse times of our life because everybody can’t stop
The hate!!! He saved his marriage because they found God you don’t agree with that ok! But back off I have never heard one word out of him about hate towards gays so knock it off .
Good RETURN
Steven Lars brings LOTS of storyline potential such as unresolved issues with Olivia.
I must continue to gloat about the return of Ric and how he has QUIETLY shaken up recent plot points and future storyline potential.
The writers and production at GH are putting the pieces TOGETHER quietly and IT’S WORKING
NOW, if we could correct the Sam situation, GH could really have a great show going moving forward
Welcome back Steven Lars! Hope they find you a nice lady as was Olivia. Am hoping for a long term SL without too much turmoil with “mommy dearest”
I am thrilled he is back even if for a limited time. I had figured and hoped that after Jonathan Jackson and Steve Burton returned that their IRL friend Scott would return. Looking forward to this.
I loved Scott Reeves on Y&R, with all his woman troubles
They can bring all these back ..but they had to get rid of KM

Kate Mansi Wraps On-Screen Run as ‘General Hospital’s’ Kristina Corinthos-Davis
The Friday, June 12 episode of General Hospital marked the last for Daytime Emmy winner, Kate Mansi as Kristina Corinthos-Davis. As previously reported, the character was accepted to medical school at UCLA in California, making the end of the run for Mansi who played Kristina for three years.
The decision to depart GH was all Mansi’s decision and as also previously reported, GH executive producer Frank Valentini had left the door open for a return down the line and is currently not planning on recasting the part.
In story, in her final episode, having already said goodbye on Thursday’s show to her parents, Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), Kristina meets up with her siblings, Molly (Kristen Vaganos) and Michael (Rory Gibson). The three have a chat at the Metro Court Gardens.

SIBLING ADVICE
Before she leaves Port Charles, Kristina tells her brother and sister, she wants them to be there for each other, while each is managing their personal relationships: Molly with Cody (Josh Kelly) and Michael with Jacinda (Paige Herschell). Kristina thanked them for taking her to the airport and urged them to lean on each other while she was gone.
In her last scene, Kristina tells Molly and Michael right before they head for her flight, “I want each of you to be the person the other can call. OK? To show up for each other, no questions asked. Because that’s what you’ve been for me.”
KATE’S NEXT MOVE
Speaking with TV Insider, Mansi shared what she is up to next which has included accompanying her husband, Matt McInnis to Europe. Kate explained she had made the decision a few months back to exit GH. “I knew my contract was up in April and I wanted to give them the proper notice so that they could plan their future storytelling.” Kate added, “Given that my husband is working in Europe predominantly and I’ll be traveling so much, that’s what this next chapter of my life will be.”
Kate expressed that the news of her exit was hard to share with people, because she would feel sad when talking about it. Ultimately, the first to know were Nancy Lee Grahn, Kristen Vaganos, and Rory Gibson. She chose not to tell Maurice Benard, because she was so close to him in real-life, until they filmed their last episode together which aired yesterday.
There’s more! Kate gave a final tease that she has project in the works sharing, “I’m excited to have booked a short-term project in the fall that works within my schedule.” As to a future return to GH, Mansi doesn’t rule it out, “It’s Port Charles. Anything is possible.”
So, what did you think of Kate’s final scenes as Kristina with Sonny, Alexis, Molly and Michael? Do you hope Kate come back in a few years time? Weigh-in via the comment section. In case you missed it, you can catch the scenes where Kristina tells her parents she is leaving Port Charles below.
