The revival of ABC’s quirky David Lynch/Mark Frost drama Twin Peaks, which picks up twenty-five years after the events in the original series, released it’ full the cast list for the upcoming Showtime series in 2017, and it contains 217 cast members!
Sheryl Lee, Sherilyn Fenn, Mädchen Amick, David Duchovny, Michael Horse, Dana Ashbrook, Miguel Ferrer, Ray Wise, Grace Zabriskie, Peggy Lipton, Everett McGill, David Lynch, and of course series star Kyle MacLachlan are back from the original version.
Add to that some big new additions to the cast which include: Naomi Watts, Amanda Seyfried, Ashley Judd, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Laura Dern, Ernie Hudson, Michael Cera, Trent Reznor, Jessica Szohr, Jane Levy, Richard Chamberlain, Robert Knepper, Jim Belushi, Tom Sizemore, Ethan Suplee, Balthazar Getty, Bailey Chase, David Koechner, and Larry Clarke.
And then take a look at the entire list after the jump. *Astericks indicated original cast members.

Wow, I will be watching foresure. Good cast and well known actors.
I never heard of a soap Twin Peaks..
I do know Twin Peaks in CA, been there several times..
just this; remakes are never ever as good as the original– knowing that I will not subscribe to Showtime to watch it..
I had Showtime, once.. it really was not all that good- I let it go..
old fans, enjoy !
Su0000 it was a great primetime soap and super weird.. I love David Lynch… if you have Netflix you can watch the entire series at your leisure.. R.I.P. Laura Palmer lol
Im an old fan of the original and will not be watching the remake-like you said they are never as good as the original…
Yes, jimh, “original recipe” Twin Peaks was phenomenal….so unexpected and outre’ when it hit the scene….I cannot imagine how it could possibly outdo itself, especially in today’s “seen it all, done it all” age! In addition, the show simply won’t be the same without Pete Martell and his “fish in the percolator!” (Which still makes me roar with laughter….that was my favorite Peaks’ catch phrase/sight gag of all time! We repeated it at school for kicks, ad nauseam……always with great relish and delight!)
In Su…It’s wasn’t a traditional daytime soap, but like a lot of nighttime drama series has all the elements of a soap. But Su…this one has just that kind of weirdness and “action” that I think you would like, having read your comments for several years. And the characters…Ray Wise is phenomenal. Hope you find a way to see the original series. I’m not so sure about a reboot either…time will tell.
This is not a reboot- this is a continuation of the series that ran in primetime in the early 90s. There were two seasons originally so it’s easiest to think of this as “season three”. (There’s also a movie that was released theatrically called “Fire, Walk With Me” which should be watched after season two rather than before season one). A ‘reboot’ would be if they started from scratch with different actors (i.e. the 2004 Battlestar Galactica series) which is not what they are doing.
“Season three” features some of the same cast (some have passed away since then.. like the woman who played the “log lady” – you’ll know what I mean when you watch the first season). Also: in the final episode, Agent Cooper had a vision of Dead Laura Palmer (who we find dead in the opening sequence of the series) telling him that she’ll see him in 25 years.. this is the follow up to that. (It’s technically 26 years but that just has to do with scheduling issues as season three was supposed to air in 2016).
What are they filming.. Twin Peaks or The Bible.. Good grief
And they say the cast of GH is too bloated! Lol…such a quirky show. Wonder if they can recapture its magic. They should do a recap of the past…
Cast is insane, greatt! So happy about Ducovney. Brilliant man, actor!
Rebecca 1… I also hope the continue the X-Files with David D. Again, another “quirky show.”
Rebecca 1…I also like David D in the X-Files, just another “quirky show.” Then there’s Laura Dern and Richard a Chamberlain. What will they do with him?
Hi Rose! Funny but I never watched the X-Files. I started watching the original a few months ago. I wasn’t hooked yet it had such a following back in the day maybe I’ll give it another shot. But I liked Duchovney in other things I’ve seen him in and ADORED him in CALIFORNICATION! I binged all the seasons of that show several months ago and was hooked from beginning to end.
Yes to Laura Dern and Richard Chamberlain and so many others in the cast. (And I barely remember the original Twin Peaks other than its quirky “universe”.) But then again, like Jimmy Kimmel, I need a refresher on Game of Thrones! The seasons are so ridiculously spaced apart you need a hotline to call to fill in the blanks!
By the way? Jamie and Claire my. FAVORITE couple! (I’m caught up there too.)
After a little thought.. If they released this list it’s a stunt.. I’m sure it’s authentic but they’ve included EVERYBODY… Jane Smith: floor sweeper.. Some woman in a scene who looks up… John Gray: coffee server.. don’t speak just pour the coffee… Nicias Moore: park bench.. the camera just passes by… I mean ROOTS the slavery miniseries is set to air Memorial Day and that full cast is well under 200.. including uncredited actors… Yep.. Twin Peaks.. and they’re being just as weird as ever with that unnecessary huge cast.. I’ll watch
I thought this was a CBS show?
It is they own showtime
217 cast members and still the list seems to be incomplete…
Where are Piper Laurie and Joan Chen? Twin Peaks won’t be the same without Catherine Martell and I was hoping Josie Packard would somehow make an appearance.
No Eric Da Re? Dang it, I loves me some Leo Johnson.
Annie Blackburn was key to the events in the Black Lodge in the series finale so it seems odd not to see Heather Graham on the list.
And no Lara Flynn Boyle suggests there will be no real payoff to that cliffhanger reveal in the Hayward living room (which is a shame because I was really looking forward to Audrey’s reaction)…
A little surprised they would release this, as scanning the list and noting key absences just invites people to conclude this is going to be disappointing. I have to agree about not seeing Piper Laurie and Joan Chen among the names (Piper may, like Michael Ontkean, be retired from acting, I guess, but I thought Joan was still acting). What about James Marshall, Everett McGill, Wendy Robie, and Kimmy Robertson?
Nonetheless, I will probably still watch.
It looks like the bottom part of the cast list might have gotten cut off — the full cast list on numerous other sites lists James Marshall, Everett McGill, Wendy Robie, and Kimmie Robertson as well as Ray Wise (Leland Palmer) and Grace Zabriskie (Sarah Palmer).
Oh yes–Grace Zabriskie! She’s another one I would have felt cheated if I didn’t see.
Thanks for the info, Alan. The omissions certainly seemed strange.
But still no word on Joan Chen or Piper Laurie?
What…N-O Michael Ontkean????? WHAT THE H-E-L-L?!?!?

Lucas Adams and Tamara Braun Written Out of The Young and the Restless

It looks like the current run of Lucas Adams (Noah) and Tamara Braun (Sienna) on The Young and the Restless is coming to an end, after the Monday, August 3 edition of the CBS daytime drama revealed that Noah and Sienna are leaving Genoa City and heading back to Los Angeles.
In the storyline, Noah informed his mother, Sharon (Sharon Case) and half-sister Mariah (Camryn Grimes) that he and Sienna made the decision to move back to the West Coast to put distance between themselves and Matt Clark (Roger Howarth). Although Noah did not say it was a permanent move, he did assure his mom that once Matt is hopefully gone from Genoa City they could return.
However, as previewed already on the video teaser for this week’s episodes of Y&R (see below), it appears Noah left Genoa City’s The Shadow Room to be run by a returning Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian). So with that, coupled with today’s episode, it would appear the move could wind up being more permanent.

COMINGS AND GOINGS
Adams made his Y&R debut on November 4, 2025 as the successor to Rory Gibson who last played Noah on-screen in April of 2023. Earlier in 2025, Gibson took over the role of Michael Corinthos on Genera Hospital replacing Chad Duell, who stepped away from the part after 15 years.
Braun who played Adam’s mother on Days of Our Lives when she was Ava Vitali and he was Tripp Dalton, first appeared on Y&R back on October 14, 2025, where we soon learned she had become Noah’s lover as the new character, Sienna Bacall. It should be noted, Adams was on contract with the number #1 soap, while Braun has been on recurring status.
With Josh Griffith now exited as head writer of The Young and the Restless, and the newly announced co-head writing team of Jamey Giddens and Dan O’Connor having taken his place and starting their new tenure this week, it will be interesting to see how the duo resets the show, and if a Noah and Sienna return is in the cards for the future or not.
So, what do you think about the seeming departures of Lucas Adams and Tamara Braun from The Young and the Restless? Weigh-in via the comment section. But first, check out our recent live chat with Tamara and Lucas on the Michael Fairman Channel.

Rosie O’Donnell Says She Will Return to ‘The View’ During its Season 30

Rosie O’Donnell revealed that she plans to head back to a seat at the table of ABC’s morning talk show The View.
The announcement came during Monday’s episode of The Tangle Podcast where she shared she will participate in “in whatever way they want” her or “just as a guest” for its upcoming 30th season.
The View’s season 30 will kick-off this fall in September. O’Donnell explained, “They’re bringing back all the hosts, I think. And, you know, I’m pretty proud of that show, what it’s become and how it really speaks to the people and to politics.”

ROSIE ON HER PREVIOUS GO-ROUNDS ON THE VIEW
As fans of The View know, O’Donnell famously had two different one-year stints on the talk show in 2007 and again in 2014- 2015. She often feuded with then co-host Elizabeth Hasselbeck.
However, during her discussion with host, Kyle Ridley on The Tangle Podcast, O’Donnell also noted she often had tense moments with longtime moderator and anchor, Whoopi Goldberg.
O’Donnell also expressed, “Many, many people got the short end of the stick there. It was, you know, it was a factory where people were being churned in and out and their tenuous security, nobody got to be calm. It also was a show at the time that was run by a man. A show created by a woman, for women, about women, and the man was deciding what we should talk about. And that didn’t sit right with me, you know.”
Back in 2023, Brooke Shields had asked Rosie on her podcast, Now What? with Brooke Shields, about how she felt on her two stints at The View and all the controversy that surrounded it. Rosie at that time, stated, “I know this, it’s not the best use of my talent to get in a show where I have to argue and defend basic principles of humanity and kindness. It was not something I’d ever do again.”
You can check out the clip with Rosie and Kyle Ridley discussing her return to The View in some form for its upcoming 30th season below.
Then weigh-in: Would you be excited to see Rosie, even for a one-day or a week guest stint on the upcoming celebratory season of The View, or not so much? Let us know via the comment section.
