Tamara Braun Exits Days of our Lives

Looks like Ava Vitali’s done playing havoc with the lives of Salemites, for now.  If you caught Tuesday’s episode of Days of our Lives streaming on Peacock, Ava is being taken away to Bayview Sanitarium, as she continues to see and be influenced by her dead son, Charlie Dale (Mike Manning).

All of this is on the heels of Ava planting a bomb at Susan Bank’s memorial service at a church, and being arrested by Rafe (Galen Gering) for five counts of attempted murder.

Now, Daytime Emmy winner, Tamara Braun has taken to her Instagram to confirm her departure from Days of our Lives and that today’s episode was her last.

Tamara had reprised her role of troubled and trouble-maker Ava Vitali for a third time on DAYS. This most recent run began in November of 2020 and went through December of 2o22.

Braun shared: “Hey all you Days fans!! If you want to see Ava off, tune into DOOL today for her last day in Salem. Thought I’d share some of my memories from the last (almost) two years. Starts at the end and ends at the start with my first nasal swab. Oh Covid!! Thanks for all the love and support you continue to show me. I will miss you all!! Wait, I’ll still be here, you can find me on IG!! 😉 Much love. ”

Check out the montage of photos from Tamara’s time at DAYS that she refers to in her exit statement below.

Hope Tamara returns to GH as Dr. Kim, especially since Britt is going off canvas. We know that character has a boy named Andy…

I sent Charlie Dale back up to Salem to bring his mother back to Hell. He failed again, damn it!

It’d be a privilege to have an actress of Tamara’s caliber back on GH. We have a bevy of powerhouse ladies already (Maura, Laura, Genie, Cynthia) but in this case I’d welcome an embarrassment of riches.

I’ve always liked Tamara Braun way back from the GH days. She’s done a fantastic job with Ava and I even came to like the character. I’ll miss seeing Mike Manning though. I absolutely love him.

I would love seeing her back on GH. She’s got Julian’s son now and maybe he isn’t truly dead. I don’t remember if they recovered a body.

I’m sad to see her go. I was hoping she would return after a stint in Bayview.

Days doesn’t get alot of attention on this site
But it’s the best soap at the moment and for awhile now
And Ava and Tamara Braun were the best part of it

I agree about the very little stories about days of our lives on this site. Days and days weeks will go by and it’s the same story. Disappointing but also at least this is a good site for commenting.

Chrishell Stause Makes a Return to Days of our Lives

You just never know who you will find in purgatory (ah-hem) on Days of our Lives ! And now, in a surprise return, Chrishell Stause reprises her role of Jordan Ridgeway in all new episodes on the Peacock streaming soap opera.

In the latest promo released on Friday, Chrishell is seen in the ‘afterlife’ as Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) runs into Jordan … her old arch-nemesis! Let the games begin.

Stause, who is one of the mainstays of the Netflix reality series, Selling Sunset, comes back to her old stomping grounds at DAYS just as Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), Marlena (Deidre Hall) and Kate have ‘died’ and have all landed in this white space which looks to be heaven, but really is hell in disguise, especially given Marlena’s latest visit with Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk), who seemingly reveals herself to be possessed by Satan.

Chrishell made her DAYS debut back in August of 2013 and exited the series on March 9th of 2015.  Stause returned in 2019 until Jordan finally met her demise. She returned once again in 2020 in a series of flashbacks.

Watch the promo for next week’s DAYS below.

Now let us know, what do you think of Chrishell returning to DAYS to raise some hell for Kate and company? Comment below.

Days of our Lives Receives WGA Nomination for Daytime Drama Series

UPDATED: On Wednesday, the nominations were unveiled for the 75th annual Writers Guild Awards to be held on Sunday, March 5 at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles.

In the category of Daytime Drama, only Days of our Lives was nominated, thus DAYS becomes the automatic winner as the sole nominee.

The nominated and winning DAYS writing team consists of: Head Writer Ron Carlivati; Writers Lorraine Broderick, Jazmen Darnell Brown, Joanna Cohen, Carolyn Culliton, Richard Culliton, Cheryl Davis, Kirk Doering, Christopher Dunn, Jamey Giddens, David Kreizman, Ryan Quan, Dave Ryan, Katherine D. Schock.

DAYS head writer, Ron Carlivati shared in a statement: “My team and I are thrilled to be nominated for the 2023 Writers Guild Award for Daytime.  We submitted three scripts from the storyline about Craig’s late-in-life coming out, the impact it had on his wife, Nancy, and of course, his ill-fated romance with the ever-scheming Leo. We felt that these episodes were a good representation of what Days of our Lives does best: high-stakes family drama with a comedic twist.”

The episodes DAYS submitted for competition were #14320 which aired 4/19/2022, #14321 which aired 4/20/2022 and show #14331 that aired 5/4/2022.  They also featured the disastrous double wedding of Leo and Craig and Xander and Gwen, and its fallout.
