In the Soaptastic season finale of The Stafford Project released this morning, Michelle Stafford gathered together some of her real life soap star pals who play altered versions of themselves in the last episode of season one!

The season finale is entitled The Nut Cracker” and in it, “Michelle” hosts a Christmas party for her soap star friends, only the soiree doesn’t go as planned!

Special guest stars: Crystal Chappell, Finola Hughes, Ian Buchanan, Nadia Bjorlin, Marco Dapper, Christian LeBlanc and James Scott, play their roles to perfection and it’s a laugh a minute!  However, through the laughter there is a poignant story turn which brings season one of this hit web series to a satisfying conclusion and a glimpse of what season two could look like!  Kudos to the brilliance of Michelle Stafford, Paige Long, and Paige Dorian for a fantastic script and this episode which will absolutely bring some holiday cheer for fans of daytime drama and Ms. Stafford!

As On-Air On-Soaps teased to you in our video interview posted yesterday with Michelle Stafford about the season finale: “Crystal” has a drug problem, “Finola” is quite bitchy, “James” holds a very special spot in the episode of key importance, “Nadia” has a sex drive that seems to be in overdrive, and much more!

Now after the jump, watch the all-soap-star season finale of The Stafford Project!  Then, let us know who was your favorite and what you thought of the ending!

The finale of Michelle Saffords show was so disorienrted, that I didn’t know where to look or who to look at! It was very kooky, but kind of fun. I enjoyed seeing some of my favorite stars though! Can’t wait until the second foray…..

I loved the ending when James comes and then when Muchelle was narrating and playing with her daughter… that was the best part! The rest was ok… but the end was intriquing and touching!

Of course… they are playing around with the various soap characters they have played or worked with and yet it was just a bit too over the top in it’s tongue in check play against the genre.

In the category of Daytime Drama, only Days of our Lives was nominated, thus DAYS becomes the automatic winner as the sole nominee.

The nominated and winning DAYS writing team consists of: Head Writer Ron Carlivati; Writers Lorraine Broderick, Jazmen Darnell Brown, Joanna Cohen, Carolyn Culliton, Richard Culliton, Cheryl Davis, Kirk Doering, Christopher Dunn, Jamey Giddens, David Kreizman, Ryan Quan, Dave Ryan, Katherine D. Schock.

DAYS head writer, Ron Carlivati shared in a statement: “My team and I are thrilled to be nominated for the 2023 Writers Guild Award for Daytime.  We submitted three scripts from the storyline about Craig’s late-in-life coming out, the impact it had on his wife, Nancy, and of course, his ill-fated romance with the ever-scheming Leo. We felt that these episodes were a good representation of what Days of our Lives does best: high-stakes family drama with a comedic twist.”

Lisa Rinna Exits ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ After 8 Seasons

Days of our Lives alum, Lisa Rinna (ex-Billie) is departing her reality series gig with the announcement she is exiting Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after 8 seasons.

In a statement to PEOPLE, Rinna shared on her decision: “This is the longest job I have held in my 35 year career and I am grateful to everyone at Bravo and all those involved in the series. It has been a fun eight-year run and I am excited for what is to come!”

Actually, the decision to leave RHOBH came when Lisa’s contract was up at the end of last season, and after discussing her options along with her other business obligations, Rinna and Bravo mutually decided she would not return for another season. Rinna joined the franchise in its fifth season, back in 2014.

Throughout her time on RHOBH, Lisa was involved in numerous dramatic moments, twists, fights, feuds, along with a ton of social media vitriol antics.

Lisa was last seen as DAYS Billie Reed when she reprised her signature soap role for the Peacock limited-series, Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem which premiered in the summer of 2021.

So, glad that Lisa is finally finished at ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’, or will you miss all the drama she finds herself in at the epicenter of each season? Comment below.
