‘The Bold and the Beautiful’s’ Darin Brooks Weighs-In: Who Will Be the Woman in Wyatt Spencer’s Life? (Exclusive)

This week, Darin Brooks returned on-screen to The Bold and the Beautiful in his role as Wyatt Spencer. Brooks, who officially left the show in 2023 after 10 years, is back and on contract.
With it being revealed that Wyatt is no longer with Flo (Katrina Bowden), it opens him up to romantic possibilities on the canvas. Given Wyatt’s track record and history with the ladies, and what B&B’s executive producer and head writer, Brad Bell has in store for the character, Darin Brooks’ on-screen love life could bounce several ways!
During Darin’s livestream chat on the Michael Fairman Channel on Friday, May 29, he shared his thoughts on the possibilities of who could be the newest woman in Wyatt’s life. Will it be someone from his past or someone completely new?

Brooks shared, “Hey, there’s a lot of girls to be stolen, and I think Wyatt is the person to do it because everybody seems to be happy and Wyatt likes making people unhappy.” (Laughs)
Wyatt has previously been married to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Hope Logan (Kim Matula, now Annika Noelle), had a romance with Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer), and has even had a relationship with Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope, now on Y&R). According to Brooks, one of them currently on the B&B canvas could certainly be in the running as a potential romantic pairing.
Then, there’s the potential of making Denise Richards‘ Shauna Fulton, with whom Brooks shared one of his first comeback scenes and who also returned to the soap, turn out to be more than just good friends! What’s their story in Vegas? There’s even a wildcard discussed in Dylan (Sydney Bullock)!

WYATT SPENCER – NEXT LOVE MATCH OR REMATCH?
Here’s a rundown of how Darin commented on several of the female leading ladies, and if their soap opera alter-egos could be the one Wyatt is drawn towards in 2026:
Shauna Fulton: “I was so happy with our scenes that aired on Thursday because it reminded me of a lighter version of Wyatt and Quinn’s (Rena Sofer) relationship. Shauna and Wyatt would make a hot couple. I don’t know what they have planned with all that. If there is something there or not. Shauna is that type of person where, you know, she sees Bill and she goes, “Oh! Spencer Men …”
Steffy Forrester (currently married to Finn) “Jacqui and I have known each other for so long. Man, I could see that too. I think that would be lovely. Like I said, everybody seems to be somewhat happy and you can’t have that for so long. Anything can happen. Steffy and Wyatt were fun.”
Hope Logan: “You could pair Wyatt with Hope, you could do anything.” Although Hope is married to Wyatt’s brother Liam (Scott Clifton) you may think because his brother is married to her it will be hands-off time. However, Darin Brooks said, “Well, let’s see.”
Ivy Forrester: “I loved when Wyatt and Ivy were together. Ashleigh Brewer is one of my favorite people.” Currently, Brewer is on maternity leave from the show and the character of Ivy was told to pack her things and leave Forrester and seemingly went on hiatus, after it was discovered by Will (Crew Morrow) and Electra (Laneya Grace) that Ivy stole the letter Electra wrote to Will, in an attempt to break them up, but it backfired. We wonder what Wyatt would think of all that? Stay tuned.
Dylan: When discussion turned to the younger set of B&B, the topic of Dylan was brought up as a possible love interest for the returning Spencer. Darin coyly answered if she might wind up being a romantic option, expressing, “I’d love to go toe to toe with the younger set, and maybe Dylan … maybe!”
In case you missed it, you check out our full conversation with Darin as we welcomed him back to The Bold and the Beautiful, and wished him the happiest of birthday’s this week too below.
Now let us know, who do you think should be the new woman in Wyatt’s life? Or would you like to see him back with Hope, Steffy or Ivy? Let us know your picks via the comment section.
Wyatt and Deke should be together. I know it wouldn’t ever happen but the drama-rama it would cause would be outstanding.
I’ve been cat hing up. Just starting the episode where Wyatt is back, Electra just said yes to moving in with Will. The part I cant stand is Donna being so pushy with Hope. If she or anyone else really cared that Hope has been screaming for months that she is feeling undervalued, not appreciated among other things and not one positive acknowledgement that she shoul of always been getting. Doesn’t seem like anyone goes out of their way. Her own mother makes her feel second. She is so incredibly talented. Go to Logan and put yourself and your line first. You deserve this!

Y&R’s Co-Head Writer Jamey Giddens, Ahead of November Stories and Scripts Debut with Dan O’Connor, Explains How Fall Tees Up Their Plans for Genoa City

As previously reported on Thursday, September 10, Y&R fans should circle November 11th on your calendars. That will mark the official on-screen head writing regime change on The Young and the Restless, when material from newly-planted co-head writers, Jamey Giddens and Dan O’Connor begins to air on the number one daytime drama series on CBS.
Taking to X, Giddens backed up all mentions of when his run as co-head writer begins with an electronic alarm clock showing the numbers 11:11. In addition, up until that time, Y&R fans are still watching the story and scripts from Josh Griffith who stepped down a few months ago from his position as head writer after a lengthy run that started back in 2019.
However, Giddens responded to a Y&R viewer on X, who said they won’t tune back into the action in Genoa City until his and O’Connor’s material starts to air. Jamey expressed that if you are fan of the series, you should tune-in now because before Jamey and Dan get to launch their set of new stories and adventures for the citizens of Genoa City, but they first needed to decide what to do with the story they inherited from Josh Griffith.

Jamey teased, “Start watching NOW!” Fall in Genoa City set up tons of juicy stories Dan O’Connor and I are lucky to inherit as we begin telling new ones! Let’s watch as a soap fam! #YR”
Jumping into the thread in response was one fan who said to Giddens, “I’m watching, and some stuff is good while other stuff needs revisions, so hoping the revised improves the stories. My future request: can we get Sharon and Adam sharing scenes again? And please let Sharon interact with people beyond Nick 24/7. Shick can happen but Sharon needs more to do. JT said he was filming a good story, so hopefully he isn’t rinsing and repeating with Billy’s mistake but JT seems excited on what’s to come.”
In pretty short order, Giddens has worked as a breakdown writer for both Days of Our Lives and Beyond the Gates, where he is nominated this year as part of the writing team for both shows, in addition to previously being the head writer of OWN’s Ambitions and writing for Tyler Perry’s Sistas. Jamey started his career with Daytime Confidential as a journalist covering the genre that he knows and loves.
As for Dan O’Connor, he previously held down co-head writer duties at General Hospital or as an Associate Head Writer. He also wrote for One Life to Live and made a stop in Salem and Days of Our Lives.
So, can November 11th come soon enough for you? Will you be tuning-in to Y&R leading up to the takeover by Jamey and Dan on the writing front? Share your thoughts via the comment section below.

Kearran Giovanni Debuts on ‘General Hospital’ as Anna Devane’s New Therapist

If Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) new therapist on General Hospital looks familiar to you, it’s because actress Kearran Giovanni, who plays Dr. Nichols, previously played a doctor on One Life to Live!.
Viewers tuning-in to the Thursday, September 10 episode of GH got their first look at Dr. Nichols who has been brought in to help Anna recover from her PTSD and trauma following the reveal that she has been suffering from a break in reality since before being put in mental health facility in France, after being gaslighted by Cullum and company earlier in the year.
One Life to Live fans will recall that Kearran Giovanni played Dr. Vivian Wright in 2009, and it was then she first worked with current General Hospital EP, Frank Valentini, who at the time was at the helm in Llanview.

WHERE ELSE HAVE YOU SEEN KEARRAN GIOVANNI?
Giovanni appeared on OLTL in the recurring role through 2012 and in the final ABC episode of the beloved series was the the ob/gyn who delivered Destiny Evans (Shenell Edmonds) and Matthew Buchanan’s (Eddie Alderson) baby into the world, whom they named Drew Buchanan II after Bo Buchanan’s (Robert S, Woods) late son. In addition, Vivian has been dating Shaun Evans (Sean Ringgold).
In addition to One Life to Love, Giovanni has very impressive credits having appeared in numerous TV series and motion pictures including starring in the TNT drama Major Crimes from 2012-18, ABC’s Designated Survivor 2017-19, the CW’s Black Lightning from 2019-20. HEALING ANNA
On today’s General Hospital, after Anna’s harrowing meltdown where she almost shot and killed Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) after seeing visions of “Peter August” (Wes Ramsey), Jason (Steve Burton) saved the day and talked Anna down from committing murder. Now, Dr. Nichols was introduced as a valuable staff member at the hospital. Although, this marked the first time in the history of the show we have heard of her character.
