THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL: Finn Realizes Just How ‘Crazy’ Sheila Is!

Photo: JPI

It really looks like we are finally going to get a version of the motion picture Misery – ‘Bold and Beautiful’ style – with the upcoming next leg of the storyline featuring Kimberlin Brown (Sheila) and Tanner Novlan (Finn).

In the just released latest promo for the CBS soap opera, Finn, who has awakened from his coma and knows that his mother, Sheila, shot him and his wife, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), is in dire straits.  Sheila now has him captive and vows to never let him out of his makeshift hospital bed, especially when he calls his bio-mom, “crazy”.  Wrong move, Finn!

Throughout her journey as Sheila, Kimberlin Brown has detailed the story of how when she was originally cast in the role on The Young and the Restless, the producers and casting director told her to think of Sheila like Kathy Bates’ Oscar-winning role in Misery.

Brown once again confirmed this on the 49th Annual Daytime Emmys red carpet when she spoke to Michael Fairman TV on the parallels of the two characters. (You can check the video interview out below).

Making this all the more timely was the passing of Bates’ Misery co-star, James Caan, who died a few days ago at 82-year-old, and was perfect as the tortured prisoner. Just how far will B&B go with the storyline? Time will tell.

Our bet: Li (Naomi Matsuda) is not ‘dead in the water’! We think she may return just in the nick of time and save the son she raised.

Check out the latest promo for the action this week on B&B below.

Then weigh-in: how do you think Finn will ultimately escape Sheila? Share your thoughts in the comment section.

Love Kimberlin Brown, aka Sheila Carter. Li is alive read that online. She will save Finn. I read that Kimberlin Brown signed a new contract with B&B and there’s a huge twist in this storyline. Sheila is crazier than ever poor Finn.

What could the twist be? Sheila has a twin?

You might be right Mary.

The Bold and The Beautiful, is the soap to watch right now. The ratings are setting record highs due to Kimberlin Brown as Sheila. Love the big twists right now. Kimberlin is killing it as cray cray Sheila.

I love Kimberlin Brown and I’m so grateful that she’s been back after all the years off canvas.

I saw the promo and immediately thought of Misery! Such a great movie.

Just out of curiosity has anyone been able to explain why Finn has had no funeral or autopsy? And as we know being alive will negate Sheila’s murder charge for Finn how will she get away with the attempted murder of Steffy when she shot her at point blank range?

Li kept dodging the question on the funeral and they probably didn’t need an autopsy since it was clear he “died” from a gunshot wound. Sheila can argue that she shot Steffy in self-defense and Finn by accident (weak argument, but an argument nonetheless). She could even claim there was a struggle over the gun.

This woman makes me crazy, can’t wait until she’s gone, this time hofully for good.I like the actress but the character is too stressful, even since Y&R.

Gosh, look at the mistakes I made. I get nervous just talking about her.I don’t think she’ll ever be gone, always be there to wreak havoc on someone’s life.I think Eric is next, if spoilers are right.

I was hoping that police would have followed Mike to where Sheila and Fenn are,but even he was smarter than they are! Poor Li is so traumatized, she can’t even speak. I was hoping the Dr. Would have known her, but no luck.

THIS WEEK on GENERAL HOSPITAL: Sonny Tells Carly, ‘I Don’t Owe Jason Nothing’; While Sam and Jason Come Face to Face

General Hospital previews for the week of March 25-29 pits friends and family against each other over the recent return of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), and how he is implicated as the shooter that put Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) in the hospital still in dire straits.

Last week, with the walls closing in on Jason, he turned himself in to the PCPD while lawyering up with Diane (Carolyn Hennesy). Meanwhile, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), Michael (Chad Duell), Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), Danny (Asher Antonyzyn), and Carly (Laura Wright) all could be culpable for aiding and abetting a suspect in the shooting of a cop, and for hiding Jason.

In the latest promo for the ABC soap opera, we get a glimpse of Sam (Kelly Monaco) finally seeing Jason for the same time since his recent return, and asking him at the PCPD if he indeed shot Dante.

When everyone gathers at Jason’s arraignment, Carly is seen yelling at Sonny, “You owe Jason!” However, in a key moment, Sonny responds, “I don’t owe Jason nothing!” Will we finally see Sonny bring up the fact of how Jason and Carly were married when they believed he had ‘died’? THIS WEEK on GENERAL HOSPITAL: Dex and Josslyn’s Relationship at a Crossroad, Jason Contacts Diane For Help

Previews for the week of March 18-22nd on General Hospital, plus the latest promo for the daytime drama series, share that Jason’s (Steve Burton) return has already affected so many lives, especially given the fact that several key people aka Michael (Chad Duell), Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Danny (Asher Antonyzn) know his location at this moment.

Eventually, Jason (Steve Burton) will get in touch with Diane (Carolyn Hennesy), from what one can only assume is legal help. However, John (Adam J. Harrington) seems hot on Jason’s trail, but the question remains, if Jason was working for John as seemingly revealed in a flashback to keep out of prison, are the two working together … or are they mortal enemies?

Meanwhile, it looks like its curtain for now in the relationship between Dex (Evan Hofer) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy). After Nina (Cynthia Watros) dropped a bombshell about Cyrus (Jeff Kober), Joss gets an earful of information from Dex, when he admits that he was in Cyrus’s hospital room to kill him on orders from Sonny (Maurice Benard).

Photo: ABC

According to Soap Opera Digest, Eden McCoy shared, ” I think what’s different about this situation, and what pushes her over the edge, is that it wasn’t, like, a self-defense situation. It wasn’t at a shoot-out. He wasn’t protecting Sonny. Cyrus wasn’t doing anything! And I think that really scares her, to see him in the light of voluntarily killing someone in their sleep. That is very different from, like, shooting someone that’s shooting at Sonny. She is just in shock, like she can’t actually believe it.” As told by McCoy, “At that point, Josslyn says.’I can’t do this anymore,’ and makes her exit.”

Take a look below at the rest of the official teasers for the week.
