How Will the Arrival of Daphne Shake-Up the Romance of The Bold and the Beautiful’s Carter and Hope?

On The Bold and the Beautiful, the turn in the relationship of longtime friends Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Hope (Annika Noelle) has taken off in breakneck speed.  Although they have known each other for over 10 years, they suddenly became an item, so much so, not only are they hitting the sheets but they were in collusion to take over Forrester Creations.

Carter and Hope’s takeover has run a steamroller through the marriage of Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and sent him back to Taylor (Rebecca Budig), for now, and much more. So, will their happiness be short-lived? Will we see cracks in their bond sooner than later?

Well, look on further than on January 7th when actress Murielle Hilaire makes her B&B debut as Daphne Rose. While not much is being divulged about the character’s backstory and ties to the show, Lawrence Saint-Victor spoke of how Daphne’s presence might effect Carter and Hope during an interview with TV Insider.

Saint-Victor, who is also a writer for B&B, explained, “I am so excited for this character. They take their time with her introduction and it’s a really fresh character that’s bringing something dynamic. I have had so much fun playing these scenes. I’m also really excited to have someone to practice my French with because she is a fluent French speaker and she’s an incredibly talented actress and I’m so excited to have her on board.”

He went on to share, “With Daphne coming in, it’s another one of those page-turners. It’s just so much fun how the story continues to evolve and transition, and Murielle is so fantastic, and she has such an amazing energy.”

Annika Noelle offered up her opinion of the future of Carter and Hope, Daphne or no Daphne, expressing, “We haven’t really tested their mettle. I do think they are in a little bit of this, ‘Us against the world’ kind of mentality and they might be a little oblivious to the chaos they’ve caused around them. But we’re just getting started with Hope and Carter, so I’m very curious to see if it really is a power couple that can withstand the test of time.”

Even B&B’s executive producer and head writer, Brad Bell weighed-in on the Carter and Hope pairing. “There’s nothing I love more than taking established characters who have never really crossed in a romantic way and bringing them together,” said Brad.

So, what do you think? Will the arrival of the mysterious Daphne Rose cause chaos for Carter and Hope. Is this woman somehow tied to Carter’s past? If not, what could bring her to Los Angeles to intersect with the Forresters, Logans and company? Weigh-in via the comment section below.

The show is nuts and I hope they wake up before they are canceled. Will never ever support it again you drop people have no regard for history jealousy ignorance gosh what else is going on! Thorsten Kaye is a joke and KKL is a joke ugh

BB isn’t going to be cancelled, simply stop watching the show and stop trolling opinions because as most do with CBS soaps. It’s tiring.

You tell me that it’s good story telling when RJ is no where to be found not even mentioned . He should have recast before he jumped this story you cast a woman who is ten years too young to play Taylor it is a stupid game with him and if that’s trolling so be it . I will agree with you on one thing I should stop reading about it waste of time.

The new Taylor looks old enough to play Steffy’s mother even though her real age does not.

THEN DONT WATCH! JEALOUS??

This show has really gone to the dogs, Ridge, Taylor, Hope, Steffie, Taylor, Brooke, Carter, to name a few. BELL should be hiding instead of telling his little stories, also shamed to be showing sickos like the Remy creep, makes me want to puke!

Just sick to pieces of Ridge & Brook and their stupid destiny. Same old story, a different day. Carter and Hope..stupid too with their hostile takeover and making love in Ridges office, who gets freaky at work like that. Hope is just like Ridge said “a nasty little bitch and a slut”. And don’t get me started on Witch Steffy.
PLEASE WRITERS..CAN WE GET SOME NEW MATERIAL?

ITS A SOAP PPL!! GET OVER IT!!

Shes being brought in by brooke thats the plan brooke has to get the company back to Eric

I don’t want Hope and Carter together but I do want hope back with Liam . There needs to be at least 1 stable marriage on this show

Liam the waller. That is not stable. He is always wanting steffy!

B & B had super couple gold in Hope and Thomas. I’m not sure what happened but, Hope and Carter are not steaming hot like Hope and Thomas. Maybe , Lawrence St Victor should not write him self in as a Thomas replacement or as a backstabber.. It’s a real turn off. It’s not working.

Quartermaines.

I hate this story line. I hope evetu fsn. Find something else to look at. Give Eric his company back.or get of vbs

Give Eric his company back. Im not looking at the show anymore

And so???

Sheila

So sick of the same story line with Ridge and Brooke. And I definitely don’t like the actress portraying Taylor. And Hope and Carter not Happening. Hope has become a slut from the valley

there isn’t a woman on that show that doesn’t fit that word

Right but there is a lot of that in the real world

I quit watching 2 weeks ago after Ridge walked out on Brooke. I said, that’s it for me!

Any family but Fortesters. You meant the Logan’s, they force themselves on everyone. Selfish, whiny, all about taking things rather than doing something productive on their own

Lucas Adams and Tamara Braun Written Out of The Young and the Restless

Published

It looks like the current run of Lucas Adams (Noah) and Tamara Braun (Sienna) on The Young and the Restless is coming to an end, after the Monday, August 3 edition of the CBS daytime drama revealed that Noah and Sienna are leaving Genoa City and heading back to Los Angeles.

In the storyline, Noah informed his mother, Sharon (Sharon Case) and half-sister Mariah (Camryn Grimes) that he and Sienna made the decision to move back to the West Coast to put distance between themselves and Matt Clark (Roger Howarth). Although Noah did not say it was a permanent move, he did assure his mom that once Matt is hopefully gone from Genoa City they could return.

However, as previewed already on the video teaser for this week’s episodes of Y&R (see below), it appears Noah left Genoa City’s The Shadow Room to be run by a returning Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian). So with that, coupled with today’s episode, it would appear the move could wind up being more permanent.

COMINGS AND GOINGS

Adams made his Y&R debut on November 4, 2025 as the successor to Rory Gibson who last played Noah on-screen in April of 2023. Earlier in 2025, Gibson took over the role of Michael Corinthos on Genera Hospital replacing Chad Duell, who stepped away from the part after 15 years.

Braun who played Adam’s mother on Days of Our Lives when she was Ava Vitali and he was Tripp Dalton, first appeared on Y&R back on October 14, 2025, where we soon learned she had become Noah’s lover as the new character, Sienna Bacall.  It should be noted, Adams was on contract with the number #1 soap, while Braun has been on recurring status.

With Josh Griffith now exited as head writer of The Young and the Restless, and the newly announced co-head writing team of Jamey Giddens and Dan O’Connor having taken his place and starting their new tenure this week, it will be interesting to see how the duo resets the show, and if a Noah and Sienna return is in the cards for the future or not.

So, what do you think about the seeming departures of Lucas Adams and Tamara Braun from The Young and the Restless? Weigh-in via the comment section. But first, check out our recent live chat with Tamara and Lucas on the Michael Fairman Channel.

Rosie O’Donnell Says She Will Return to ‘The View’ During its Season 30

Rosie O'Donnell

Rosie O’Donnell revealed that she plans to head back to a seat at the table of ABC’s morning talk show The View.

The announcement came during Monday’s episode of The Tangle Podcast where she shared she will participate in “in whatever way they want” her or “just as a guest” for its upcoming 30th season.

The View’s season 30 will kick-off this fall in September. O’Donnell explained, “They’re bringing back all the hosts, I think. And, you know, I’m pretty proud of that show, what it’s become and how it really speaks to the people and to politics.”

ROSIE ON HER PREVIOUS GO-ROUNDS ON THE VIEW

As fans of The View know, O’Donnell famously had two different one-year stints on the talk show in 2007 and again in 2014- 2015. She often feuded with then co-host Elizabeth Hasselbeck.

However, during her discussion with host, Kyle Ridley on The Tangle Podcast, O’Donnell also noted she often had tense moments with longtime moderator and anchor, Whoopi Goldberg.

O’Donnell also expressed, “Many, many people got the short end of the stick there. It was, you know, it was a factory where people were being churned in and out and their tenuous security, nobody got to be calm. It also was a show at the time that was run by a man. A show created by a woman, for women, about women, and the man was deciding what we should talk about. And that didn’t sit right with me, you know.”

Back in 2023, Brooke Shields had asked Rosie on her podcast, Now What? with Brooke Shields, about how she felt on her two stints at The View and all the controversy that surrounded it. Rosie at that time, stated, “I know this, it’s not the best use of my talent to get in a show where I have to argue and defend basic principles of humanity and kindness. It was not something I’d ever do again.”

You can check out the clip with Rosie and Kyle Ridley discussing her return to The View in some form for its upcoming 30th season below.

Then weigh-in: Would you be excited to see Rosie, even for a one-day or a week guest stint on the upcoming celebratory season of The View, or not so much? Let us know via the comment section.
