The Bold and the Beautiful’s Kimberlin Brown to Chat Live on the Michael Fairman Channel

For more than 30 years, Kimberlin Brown has portrayed soap opera super villain Sheila Carter. First, on The Young and the Restless, and then taking the character and crossing over to The Bold and the Beautiful.

Earlier this year in February, Sheila was supposedly ‘killed-off’ of B&B, only for it to be revealed in late April that it was not Sheila who was killed but her lookalike “Sugar.” Thus, Brown returned to B&B in all-new episodes and the character is back among the Forresters, the Logans and all of her enemies.

In story, Sheila just tied the knot with the love of her life, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) in a small ceremony attended by only Deacon’s daughter, Hope (Annika Noelle) and seemingly by happenstance, her bio-son, Finn (Tanner Novlan), causing a ripple effect in his marriage to Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).

AS B&B viewers know, it was Deacon who figured out that Sheila must be alive (10 toes vs. 9 toes) and went on a search for her. Together with Finn, they found her in an abandoned warehouse where Sugar had kidnapped her and then, brought her back to safety. But, will they ultimately regret saving her life?

So, what are Sheila’s plans now? How does Kimberlin feel about playing the evil Sheila who seemingly has nine lives? Find out when Brown visits the Michael Fairman Channel for a live one-on-one conversation this Friday, May 31st beginning at 7pm ET/4pm PT.

Previously, Brown told Deadline when she was informed that Sheila would be killed off, “Brad Bell (EP and head writer, B&B) called me upstairs to talk to me about what he had in mind for Sheila. It was a hard pill for me to swallow. It had been years of playing Sheila, and I consider her my baby, so to speak. And that was definitely not news I was anticipating or hoping to receive.” However, all’s well that ends well, as Brown shared she negotiated a new contract when viewers first saw her back on-air on the April 29th episode.

So, have a question you would like posed to Kimberlin during the live chat on Friday? Let us know in the comment section below, and what you think Sheila’s next plot will be now that she is hitched to Deacon?

Y&R’s Lauralee Bell and Michael Damian Head to The Bold and the Beautiful in ‘Christine and Danny’ Crossover

Two enduring favorites from The Young and the Restless are set to crossover to The Bold and the Beautiful in another case of soap opera characters traveling between two daytime dramas.

This time, it’s Y&R’s Christine and Danny, played by Lauralee Bell and Michael Damian who depart Genoa City and head to Los Angeles. According to US Weekly, it will be a two-day appearance and the duo are actually taping their scenes today on June 27th.

In the story tease which will air on the CBS soap on August 13th and 14th, “Danny and Christine are invited to the Forrester Estate for a party celebrating the success of the relaunch of Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) ‘Brooke’s Bedroom’ fashion line … or so they think.”

However, there is more to it than that. Brooke and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) have invited them to pitch a new business venture. And then, be on the lookout for Danny to perform for the partygoers in a surprise moment.

The genesis of this crossover came from Lauralee’s real-life brother, The Bold and the Beautiful’s executive producer and head writer, Brad Bell. The discussion involved seeing Danny is his element. Lauralee confirmed, “Of course he would have a concert in L.A. and that’s how the idea came about.”

This is not the first time for Lauralee dropping into The Bold and the Beautiful. She previously appeared on the show back in 2007 when she appeared on-screen for a court case, since Christine is a lawyer.

In current story on Y&R, Christine and Danny reunited, and she is accompanying him on his tour, Bell shares you will see Christine in a “very rockstar’s girlfriend” outfit at the ‘Brooke’s Bedroom’ launch party.

Bell and Damian’s B&B appearances also coincides with the 40th anniversary of the romance of Christine and Danny. Lauralee teased, that in honor of it, “We’re doing a remix of a big song from before, but you’ll have to wait and see what it is!”

However, Michael Damian revealed on his Instagram Story that there is a brand new remixed version of “Rock On” available, which is his signature number one tune in real-life. You can check out a preview below and listen on Spotify and all music streaming platforms.

It looks like Ramsay Street will be losing one of its longtime residents, but gaining a director behind the scenes! It was announced on Thursday that Ryan Moloney (Toadie Rebecchi) will be leaving Amazon Freevee’s Neighbours as a series regular.

Look for Ryan to depart on-screen later this year. However, he is not going very far as Moloney is making a move to directing and will continue to be a part of the Neighbours family.

The character of Toadie has been on the canvas for nearly thirty years, making his upcoming departure on-screen all the more emotional. In a heartfelt video, Ryan shared his sentiments.

Moloney expressed, “After 30 years playing Toadie, I will be leaving Ramsay Street.  I can’t tell you what is happening to the character – maybe I could be the next Jim Robinson. Or maybe I’ll be the next Harold Bishop and keep popping back over the years. And although I won’t be bringing you our fantastic storylines from in front of the camera, I will be bringing them to you from the other side, behind the camera.  I’ve just started director training and have just finished filming my first episode as director – so I really hope that you enjoy that. ”

“I want to thank you all for the love that you have shown me and Toadie over the years. Three decades, in fact”, Ryan continued. “I’ll miss you, I’ll miss him, and I’ll miss Erinsborough … but whatever you do, make sure you don’t miss what’s going to happen on Ramsay Street.”

In a statement on Ryan’s exit, Neighbours executive producer, Jason Herbison shared, “Toadie is an Australian television icon and Ryan is Ramsay Street royalty. The street won’t be the same without seeing him every week however there’s every chance he will pop back in the future. In the meantime, we’re thrilled to support his directing ambitions and can’t wait for viewers to see how Toadie’s season-long story arc plays out. Ryan’s been instrumental in the journey and has blown us away with his performance.”

New episodes of Neighbours drop Monday-Thursday on the streamer, Amazon Freevee in the U.S. and the UK.  The Australian-born soap just received its first ever nominations at the recent 51st annual Daytime Emmy Awards including for Outstanding Drama Series.
