THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL: Liam to Hope, “You Beat Me To It … You Took Off Your Ring First”

On Tuesday’s recap of The Bold and the Beautiful, it was all about scenes from a marriage.  This portion, the complete dissolution of one, while the other could come crumbling down in the near future.

Hope (Annika Noelle) has gone to see Liam (Scott Clifton). She is ready to lay everything on the table between them. Since he wanted a divorce, she shows him that she has already taken off her wedding ring, when he questions her about her relationship with Thomas (Matthew Atkinson).  Stunned, Liam says, “You beat me to it. You took off your ring first.”  Hope continues to flash her wedding-ringless fingers.

Liam can’t believe their marriage has ended this way.  He feels Hope is deflecting from the real issue which is she has feeling and the ‘hots’ for Thomas, when she has now dredged up (over the last two episodes or so) that what drove her to Thomas is that she feels like the one and only woman with him, while with Liam it’s always about Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Liam wants her to stop blaming her actions on what she thinks might be going on between him and Steffy now, or in the past.

Next, Hope says Liam never faced the consequences for his actions in the past with Steffy, which is what deep down led her to where she is at today.  She goes on to say she tried to make things better by forgiving him to keep their family unit together.  Then, she ‘thanks’ Liam for not allowing her the same grace as she gave to him.

Hope shares that she doesn’t want to spend the rest of her life with a man wondering who he loves.  She even tells him to find love with someone or maybe even go to Steffy!

Couple number two: Steffy and Finn (Tanner Novlan) are having a heart-to-heart, where Finn lays down the law to Steffy about Liam.  He doesn’t want Liam showing up at their home all the time, because he is vulnerable over the end of his marriage to Hope.  Finn wants Steffy to sent some boundaries with Liam and him coming to see Kelly.

Problem is, why does Steffy keep flashing back to that awkward kiss in Rome, when Liam planted a lip-lock on her? Is she just guilt-ridden, or wondering why she is thinking about it so much?

Watch the final moments of today’s episode of B&B below.  Then, let us know, does Hope’s rationale as to why she is leaving Liam make any sense to you?  Share your thoughts in the comment section.

Hope has been fantabulous the last two days I bawled my eyes out yesterday and almost lost it today when she said to Liam “Go. Go find love.” Love me some B&B!!!

orbit

quite often – Steffy and Liam anyone? Once they start getting along and spending time together, Tom will show his true nature and start the scheming again. Mark my words!!

Why hasn’t Brooke told Ridge what she saw at Thomas,’s apartment?

Hope, good for you! Liam never deserved you, should have stayed with Steffy. He just wanted both of you.

Liam a such a whiny little boy

Thomas and Hope are a harlequin romance novel come to life super sexy hot chemistry at its best.

AN has been knocking it out of the park turning crap writing into gold. Concerning Steffy they need a way to exit her from the canvas for maternity leave I guess therefore Finn will find out etc plus I guess Sheila is back on the streets soon.

I’m here for Hope and Thomas! Liam getting a taste of his own medicine is perfect. Story fallout will be so good. Please writers don’t shy away from Thomas and Hope, be brave enough to give the couple a chance.

Fabulous, the flip flopper is gone !! Bring it on Thomas and Hope !! Their chemistry, love, respect, talent, sense of humor , compassion are all off the charts. Can’t wait to see where they go from here !! Finally, a soap opera worth my precious time !!!

Thank you B & B for giving us a woman with self respect in Hope !!! If Brooke had a clue, she should be following in Hope’s footsteps !!!

I know that there is a writer’s strike but, there is no way that a doctor would be forced to have a patient who is not only his family member but also his attacker !!! Beyond ridiculous !!!!!!

Looking forward to no more Sheila !!!!!

So happy that Hope and Thomas have found true love and she divorced Liam. The l Ridge clone !!!

Can’t get enough of Hope and Thomas !! I have never seen chemistry in daytime like theirs !! They are becoming daytime most popular couple !!

General Hospital’s 16,000th episode was packed with little reminders through points in today’s script that the ABC daytime drama series has set another milestone and it paved the way for the return of fan favorite and newly nominated Daytime Emmy Lead Actor nominee Steve Burton (Jason Morgan). The 16,000th episode also introduced viewers to the new surgeon in Port Charles Dr. Tristan Roberts played by Dean Geyer.

Here are the key takeaways and what went down on the July 13 episode: Tristan and Jason are seated next to each other on a plane heading to Port Charles. Throughout the flight, a beaten up Jason has flashbacks to being thrown into, and being held captive in a cell and tortured. It appears Jason is suffering from some form of PTSD from what he was put through after being dragged out of Port Charles by the WSB months ago.

As the plane prepares to land, Tristan tells Jason there would be a car waiting for him once they land and to enjoy the rest of his life. Later, Tristan arrives at the nurses and doctors hub at GH and approaches Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst). He tells her his name and that he is the new surgeon on staff.

A REUNION PLUS A HEAD NURSE DEFENDS SONNY

Meanwhile, at the end of the episode, Jason is outside the Quartermaine boathouse looking bewildered when he runs into Danny (Asher Antonyzyn), who is so thrilled to see his father, and the two hugs each other as tears are shed.

Elsewhere, Elizabeth tells Sonny (Maurice Benard) that he thinks its a great idea for him to get the 16th seat on the hospital board, but when it comes times to convince Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) of that, things go awry when Tracy, Laura and Sonny try to work things out. After Tracy launches into Sonny about killing Alan and Monica’s son AJ, Sonny walks away dejected.

Next, Sonny runs into Elizabeth, where he informs her what happened with Tracy. So what’s a head nurse to do? Elizabeth marches into the conference room and reminds Tracy of all the different donations and ways Sonny has contributed to the hospital from the Stone Cates AIDS wing, to the Michael Corinthos Center for Pediatric Head Injuries as well as his constant support each year for the GH Nurses’ Ball.

WSB WAR SCARS

Then, in one of the best parts for longtime fans of the series, Elizabeth talks about her legendary grandparents, Audrey and Steve Hardy and she tells Tracy they would have wanted Sonny to have a seat on the board for all the good that he has done for the hospital. After Elizabeth states Sonny’s case, things took a turn and Tracy and Sonny wound up shaking hands as Sonny is board member #16.

In the how great was it to see Anna (Finola Hughes) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) together scenes department, the pick-up of last Friday’s cliffhanger is played out as the two former lovers fill each other in on what has gone down in their lives in the last several months including Valentin admitting he had been living in Carly’s attic, and Anna realizing she was kidnapped by Cullum, Sidwell and Cassius Faison. During their conversation, Anna sees the hallucination of Peter August (Wes Ramsey) right while Valentin is standing there.

Later Anna was on her way to saying goodbye to Valentin, when the two share an emotional hug. After Valentin made his exit, Peter reappeared and warned Anna to not let Valentin distract her because she has important work to do. Anna answers, “I know.”

So, what did you think of General Hospital’s 16,000 episode? What do you think is wrong with Jason? What is the important “work” that Anna has to do? Were you glad to see Sonny get a seat on the hospital board, or not so much. Weigh-in via the comment section. But first, check out the scenes on Jason and Tristan’s long flight to Port Charles.

This week on General Hospital begins with the ABC soap opera’s 16,000th episode which brings Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) back to Port Charles after being released by the WSB; all thanks to the deal made between Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Z (John Oliver).

On the same episode, the upshot of Anna (Finola Hughes) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) coming face to face, and seeing each other for the first time in months plays itself out, and it may not be how you think. Josslyn hopes sending Valentin to the side of Anna, will break up his burgeoning relationship with her mother, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), but will it?

It appears Valentin has a warning for Anna. In the GH video preview for the episode, Anna is seen saying “How do you know that?” What does Valentin know, and will he be the person that will catch on that she is being haunted by the ghost of Peter August (Wes Ramsey)?
