The Bold and the Beautiful Recasting Thomas Forrester: Who Would You Suggest For The Part?

Courtesy/CBS

Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Taylor’s (Hunter Tylo) son, Thomas Forrester is on his way back to the canvas, and the CBS daytime drama series has put out a casting call to find the next man to play the role.

According to Daytime Confidential, in the casting breakdown that was circulated, the show commented that it is looking for someone to play the contract role who has “Strong credits only.”

B&B viewers know that the last actor to play Thomas was Pierson Fodé, who was extremely popular in the role.  Pierson played the part from 2015-2017.

So, time for you to put your casting director hats on and let us know, who would you like to see play Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood)  brother on The Bold and the Beautiful? Anyone with previous daytime, or from primetime television  experience, that you think fits the bill?

Share your thoughts for who should be the new Thomas via the comment section below.

An another triangle for Wyatt . The new actor will be fired in one year! I liked Pierson Fodé! Where are Rick, Deacon, Amber, Deacon Jr, Felicia, Kristen…? I hate Steffy, Liam, Hope, the new interns… This soap is a disaster! BradleyBell has ruined this show with the Spencers. It’s a shame! The Steffy’s show is over for me! Very bad writting! Very bad actors: Scott Clifton, Nia Sioux, JMW… Goodbye!

I do agree with you that B&B seems off the rails. Seems there is frequently hype about a new addition or return only to have it wave in the wind and soon be forgotten. Won’t claim to understand the economics or craft of soap opera writing, but I am disappointed in so many B&B characters with story potential sidelined or forgotten. And plots that endlessly turn on a triangle/quadrangle that lacks romance, passion or commitment to make twists and turn matter. I would like more stories that deal more with the business, the LA culture (Hollywood, politics), and more.

Thank you so much for bringing up Amber. To this day i still get pissed that she just went off the canvas with no mention. Just phased her out after she carried alot of story back in the day.

I totally agree he’d make a good Thomas

It literally does not matter who is cast. I wouldn’t wish the role on any of my favorite actors anyway. With the exception of a few core actors, employment on B&B should be considered strictly short term and / or part-time. Plus, the writing is a joke and the repetition is mind numbing. Good luck to the next new Thomas.

I nominate Michael Rourke. Most of us have seen (quite a lot of him) in Magic Mike, but he played Travis, Victoria’s friend, on Y&R. I liked him a lot, but guess tptb didn’t agree. I think with his hair a little darker, he’d make a good Thomas, if he comes back from N.Y sans Caroline. Can’t stand that girl, who is wearing out her welcome as Emily, on Days.

Adam Gregory needs to come back. He is stunning and the best Thomas. Pierson is a close second.

Joan Collins!

With a baseball cap, a sweatshirt, and some dimly lit sets, this octogenarian actress easily could play the role of 30-ish lothario.

Can hardly stand to watch it anymore the storylines go nowhere same vicious cycles. It doesn’t matter who they bring in as Thomas it will be another 3 way with Sally, Wyatt and Thomas, they will do what they did with Liam , Steffy and Hope.

The old Thomas was awesomel. I understand that this Thomas is part of the Bell family but he plays a horrible Thomas. Bring back Pierson Fode!!

Actually any of the other actors who played Thomas would be an improvement.
