THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL: Sheila Shoots Finn after Aiming for Steffy in Cliffhanger Shocker

It was the talk of the soap twitterverse on Friday.  Once again, it seems The Bold and the Beautiful was able to pull off a major moment that no one saw coming – which is increasingly hard to do in the social media and spoilers world in which we live.

In story, Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) has become increasingly unglued during her confrontation with Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) in the back alley, as Steffy repeatedly tells her evil mother-in-law that she will not allow her anywhere near Finn (Tanner Novlan), or her grandson Hayes.

This all comes on the heels of Steffy learning that Sheila was the responsible party for getting Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) to unknowingly drink again on New Years Eve, which has set off a chain of events that led Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) back to Taylor (Krista Allen).

However, Sheila’s plot against Brooke, now takes another devastating turn.  Defiant and angry, Sheila tells Steffy, “No one is ever going to keep me away from Finn and Hayes. Not even you, Steffy.”

Steffy keeps adding fuel to the fire telling Sheila that Finn knows what he did to Brooke and she will get him to hate her forever.

Meanwhile, at the hospital, Finn is very concerned that Steffy hasn’t texted him back.  He checks her location and is worried why she would be at Il Guardino?  Finn jumps in his car and heads over to the restaurant and while driving has flashbacks of Steffy telling him what Sheila did to Brooke.  He puts pedal to the metal and rushes to find his wife.

Sheila has now flipped out after Steffy tells her she will never see Finn again.  Next, Sheila grabs a gun from her purse, just as Finn rushes into the back alley and steps in front of Steffy as Sheila pulls the trigger!

Finn falls into the trash bags, bleeding out as he tells Steffy how much he loves her and to tell their son, how much he loves him.  Steffy cries out and tells Sheila to call for help. Sheila is shocked that she shot her own son!

Steffy shouts to Sheila “You killed you’re only son!” Next, Steffy grabs her phone to call for help, and says Sheila will pay.  As she tries to dial 911, Steffy is staring down the barrel of the gun with Sheila pointing it straight at her telling Steffy to put down the phone … now!

Looks like Finn has died, Steffy needs to be saved and Sheila has gone off the rails!

What a shocker from Mr. Bell as I was hoping that Finn would be on the canvas for a long time. Another family “shot” to pieces. I am sure there are more surprises next week! I guess Mr Novlan can do more Liberty Mutual commercials or join the Hallmark family. Enjoyed his time on the No 2 soap.

CBL…just saw Tanner on a Liberty Mutual ad. This ad was running before his demise. Makes you wonder if he knew he was going to get killed off weeks before spoilers since ads are are put together weeks ahead. If so well kept secret with no reason why.

People will hate on bold but the episode was great. K brown plays crazy like no other both her and wood were dynamite in those scenes and now the story will get even more interesting if someone missed Thursday and Friday watch them. Both great episodes

I think a lot of us saw something like this coming. But what did Steffy expect? As usual,, like Carly, she just can’t keep her mouth shut. She already thought Sheila was unhinged, and she had a history of shooting her mother. If she felt this way don’t confront her, ever. No good would come of it. Just don’t like seeing Finn the victim of this. Hope he doesn’t die.

Michael Fairman SOAP narrative here is right “NO ONE” seen it coming, or rather ALOT of fans did not. I sure didn’t. I assumed it would be more dramatic if we see, and would be a FORRESTER shot dead. Bell said, It’ll be something we never seen done before. A Forrester would be more devastating, and more real, to go down like that. Steffy should die. But, be found later as alive, not Finn,

no need to kill off a young almost mid 30s, happy man, healthy focus on being good hard working and LOYAL to Steffy. She has never had a loyal man, and again we see Steffy character, with multiple kids, having her husband murdered in front of her by his own birth mother, is cruel. I hope BELL bring him or if steffy die back to life, like DAYS OF OUR LIVES do all the time. FINN should not be dead,IF he did die. He should be alive. FANS are outraged, and i am understanding why.

Maybe since there was nothing about him going to the hospital or no police called…. No funeral??? It
wouldn’t surprise me if “someone finds him and takes him away to nurse him back to health “. That’s been done 25 times or so on other soaps.
I guess we’ll see !!!

pj
Reading rumors that what your saying is correct, but I think he’s probably being treated under wraps at the hospital, maybe by his mother Li who is a doctor.

Pj…Yes it is strange we haven’t heard any followup to Finn being killed like funeral preparations. Yet they are rushing those for Rey in Y&R, along with a wedding. And no one ever saw Peter taken away by law enforcement and medical people in GH.

Sheila killed her own son. I never saw this one coming. BRAVO for a very nicely well-kept secret!!

Doesn’t Shelia have another son? Ryder?

Yes, twins : Daisy and Ryder

I’m pretty sure you are correct. Ryder on Y and R is definitely her son. Just cannot recall if it is her biological son.

Yes, Daisy and Ryder were her kids. Although the timeline of Sheila having any of these kids makes no sense whatsoever. Daisy and Ryder would be very close in age to Finn now. And Sheila’s other mystery daughter Mary is in that same age range too. It’s very lazy, sloppy writing and totally insulting to viewers who invested so many decades in Sheila’s continuing story on both B & B and Y & R. Not to mention the fact that Lauren shot and killed her after she had plastic surgery to look like Phyllis. I am not saying that logic necessarily has any place in soaps, but there should be some attempt at continuity.

Thanks for the history. I agree on the timeline, especially since Sheila is the same character on the two shows. And as far as I know, there has been no reference to Sheila of being alive in Genoa City, and Lauren is supposedly very good friends with Eric Forrester. If Sheila were a man, then all of these same age kids with different mothers could be possible, but for a woman it is a little more difficult to pull off, even in soap land.

He is.

The FIRST thing that should have happened was one of them call 911 for help!! How stupid that Stephie tells Shiela to call when she has a phone herself!!

I knew something big was coming down the pike. But even what we saw on Friday (which was supposed to air on Wednesday, March 30), proved to shock me to my very core. What a fantastic episode.

I hope Finn is alive plus he needs to stick around so that Bradley Bell can come up with a love triangle between Steffy Finn and a returning Marcus played by recast actor Tyler Lepley.

Boy, What I thought was bad got worse in a hurry. I kept telling Steffy to shut her mouth and wasn’t surprised when Shelia lost it and grabbed her, but as scared as Steffy was she just kept threatening Shelia and I thought Deacon might come in and save her. WRONG! I can’t believe they are sacrificing Finn for that witch Shelia. I guess they have someone else in mind for Steffy, hope it won’t be Liam again, or his brother and father who are still available.

I DON’T want Finn to die !! Love him with Stef. Keep him on the show!!

Praying and hoping Finn is not dead. Don’t want to see Steffi as a young widow. Hope Finn survives.

I knew that in the end Sheila would have to lose what meant the most to her, her son Finn. But it happened quickly and the fallout was over the silly prank of getting Brooke drunk. Oh, how I would have liked more suspense, more intrigue. We got a lot of reaction that was out of balance with what happened. A lot of talk. I hoped for a wider swath of Sheila mayhem. Now Sheila surely will go to a psychiatric hospital where she will plot again to wreak havoc on the Forresters. Maybe an escape to abduct Hayes some day. Now, let’s hope Brooke is not too quick to take Ridge back. Sheila did her dirty but so did the family who were to stand by her.

Hated it!! Barret be April fools joke!!!!

Omg, What’s about too happen too Steffy & Thomas relationship If he told someone, this could have been avoided. Can’t wait to see how this plays out

Will Steffy even be able to tell the secret if Sheila harms her or threatens to harm Hayes? That would leave Thomas who is a gutless wonder and wants Mommy and Daddy together vs keeping this nasty secret that is causing pain and now potential physical harm. I don’t think Bell Jr is done yet. Fasten your seat belts.

The way Iam seeing and reading , Finn may not be dead and if he’s not it looks like Bridget got there just in time to save him.

What are the writers thinking??? It’s bad enough in the real world with too many people having guns and carrying them around to put them into the soaps. Along with the happenings in the Ukraine.

I hope Finn isn’t dead.

I hope this is the end of Sheila we have done it enough and now here we go back to the Liam Hope and Steffy triangle. Don Diamont has been wasted for months so has Heather Tom it’s crazy. No way would Taylor even come close to Sheila we have had enough move on. Sorry for the guy who played Finn but we knew he was toast a long time ago handsome guy but very weak actor. I feel sorry for the show it was once a must see

I enjoyed looking at Finn but you are right, he is a very weak actor. I really didn’t enjoy seeing Finn and Steffy together at all. All she did was rub on his shirtless chest but they really haven’t had anything meaningful on in forever. Just didn’t happened in my opinion

pj
Me again. I guess you missed the big romantic bedroom scenes just before all this happend and I’ve been wondering if she’d turn up pregnant again.

Disappointed A storyline that finally made sense, and Bell kills the character worth watching. The writing is so bad on this soap.

Brad is so transparent it’s like looking thru glass he has everyone talking about how happy Steffy and Finn are and a romantic evening who didn’t know Finn was toast. Just hang on to your hat soon that picture of Liam and Steffy will be back up on her wall.

Kay
OMG. I hope that doesn’t happen. If I was Finn I would have told her it was either him or that damn picture.

DAYS OF OUR LIVES: Marlena Looks Back at 50 Years in Salem

Published

The June 22 episode of Days of Our Lives reminded us all of why Deidre Hall is iconic in the role of Dr. Marlena Evans. Here we are 50 years later, and Marlena is still the heroine of the long-running soap opera, and Deidre remains one of the most most recognizable names in the history of soaps.

To pay tribute, and to look back at the life and times of Marlena, the story starts with Marlena flipping through a photo album of her with John (the late Drake Hogestyn) over the years. As she misses him dearly, she gets a knock on the door and its none other than John’s son, Paul Narita (Christopher Sean).

With Andrew (Colton Little) in Salem working on a case, he sits down with Marlena, who says she can’t believe its been fifty years since she first arrived in Salem! Cue: Deidre’s first scenes on DAYS when she finds Mickey Horton (the late John Clarke) playing chess against himself inside the mental institution she worked.

THE FLASHBACKS OF MARLENA’S LIFE

From there, viewers definitely got the cliff notes version of the history of Marlena and entrenched within them, some of the biggest moments in Deidre’s enduring run.

Paul thinks he is looking at 70s, and early 80s Marlena while going through her scrapbook, but he is actually looking at her twin, Samantha (Andrea Hall)Cue: when Marlena confronted Samantha about impersonating her, and then later getting a call on her radio show from the Salem Strangler (Jack Coleman as Jake Kostichek) who killed Samantha thinking it was Marlena.

In the present, Belle (Martha Madison) has arrived at this time to meet up with Paul, unaware of this trip down memory lane. She wants to go over the findings in the chess board mystery Stefano willed to Marlena and John, in private with him, since Marlena previously said she wanted nothing to do with it.

Back to the history lesson, Marlena speaks highly of Don Craig and even though their marriage didn’t work out, she could find a path forward with the new love her life, Roman Brady. (Wayne Northrop however is never shown, possibly to keep the story focused on John as Roman for confusion sakes?)

Paul sees a photo of a young Carrie (Christie Clark) in the album and Marlena says she was such a godsend after losing her baby. In fact, Marlena says caring for Carrie prepared her for her having and raising her own twins, Eric and Sami. Cue: The twin visiting Marlena in the hospital.

JOHN AND MARLENA’S LOVE CONQUERED ALL

Then, in a way to get through and incorporate the wild storylines only Marlena could have been in, she tells Belle and Paul, she has been through so much in her life, how lucky she was to find John, and some of the most unbelievable experiences no one could imagine. Cue: Marlena possessed by the devil and levitating from the bed. Next, John confronting Marlena being the Salem Stalker, where she admits she killed Alice Horton, pretends she needs help, then pulls a gun on her beloved John!

The comment is made by Paul and Marlena, that she literally has been to hell and back and she could not have survived were it not for her beloved John. Cue the big emotional highpoint clips; The Pier Scene! Marlena steps out of the fog when John sees her from a distance. After believing she was dead for four years, here she was before him in one of the greatest reunions in a soap opera love story in history. What followed were other times of the life of times of Jarlena.

MARLENA’S ‘GIFT’ FROM STEFANO HAS A NEW CLUE

When Marlena makes a brief exit to the other room, Belle fills in Paul on the chess set Stefano left her mother and the photo of the Lire. Paul said he will investigate. Marlena comes back into the room and overhears, and says to promise her if things get dangerous he will back off, she does not want anyone hurt by Stefano’s games.

As the episode comes to a conclusion, it’s just Belle and Marlena going through the photo album giggling about 70s hairstyles and all the memories. Belle speaks on the impact Marlena has had in everyone’s lives, and that she is both the heart of their family and the heart of Salem.

An end card comes up acknowledging Deidre Hall’s 50th anniversary as Marlena, and we fade to black.

So, what did you think of Marlena’s walk down memory lane? Were you happy to see the flashback clips utilized throughout? Were you touched by the scenes and the performance of Deidre Hall? Let us know what you thought of Deidre’s 50th anniversary episode via the comment section below.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Sidwell Surfaces; A Twist in Britt’s Condition

Published

By

On the Thursday, June 18 episode of General Hospital, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) makes his shocking return right in Port Charles, after fleeing (thanks to Cassius) to supposedly parts unknown to escape capture for trying to kill Dr. Lucas Jones (Van Hansis).

How does he show up in town? First, Ezra (Daniel Cosgrove) gets a text from Jacinda (Paige Herschell) to meet in his hotel room. Ezra thinks the two are going to have a sexcapade so he puts champagne on ice for his favorite escort.

Suddenly, there is a knock at the door. Ezra’s excitement turns towards fear as instead of Jacinda, Sidwell is standing in front of him. Next, Sidwell blackmails Boyle telling him he has plenty of leverage he can use against him. Sidwell wants to use Ezra to help him takedown, Sonny (Maurice Benard), Lucas, Laura (Genie Francis) and Cullum.

ARE SIDWELL’S DAYS NUMBERED?

Meanwhile, Sonny confides in his brother, Ric (Rick Hearst). He says he knows who killed Marco an he is going to use that intel to lure Sidwell out of hiding.  Sonny also shares he is going to kill Sidwell, and handle this by himself. He gave the PCPD a chance, but they failed to nab Sidwell for good and lock him up.

Sonny also has been tracking the whereabouts of Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) and Rocco (Finn Carr) through Brick, and learned they took a flight to San Juan, Puerto Rico, and then boarded a fairy to take them somewhere off the island.

BRITT’S ‘SYMPTOMS’ RETURN

Turns out, Britt and Rocco are hiding out in the British Virgin Islands. Britt set up Rocco with a burner phone and a VPN on her tablet, that is not traceable. Rocco reads on the tablet about Lucas’ shooting. Britt starts to have the shakes and passes out. When she comes to, Britt won’t let Rocco call a doctor, but he uses his phone to step on the balcony and call Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) and ask for help. Charlotte looks shocked to hear from her brother as Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) looks on!

However, Joe (Jonathan Bennett) could be the one to put two and two together! While at General Hospital and after questioning Lucas about a syringe he found that was in someone’s possession. the toxicology report showed traces of saline solution, not actual medication. He asks Dr. Jones, why someone would inject themselves with saline? Lucas responds saline is harmless and would have no effect on someone.

So, does this mean that this entire time, Britt has been led to believe that the medication she was taking to treat her Huntington’s disease was placebo? Has Britt been lied to into believing she is dying? Is something else wrong with her instead?

Share your thoughts and theories via the comment section below, and if you are ready for Sidwell to finally get his comeuppance from Sonny! But first, watch the scenes where Sidwell comes out of hiding and blackmails Ezra Boyle.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Dante and ‘Nathan’ Have It Out, Valentin and Carly Share Passionate Moments Which May Be Their Last

Published

on

By

On the June 16 episode of General Hospital, the PCPD under acting police commissioner Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is in a bit of mess and does not go unnoticed by ADA Turner (Nazneen Contractor).

First, there is the whole Chase (Josh Swickard) defending Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) over Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), who he arrested for allegedly tossing Willow in the waters next to the Quartermaine boathouse. Turner has had it with Chase’s good guy act and how he tampered with evidence in her case against Willow for shooting Drew.

Later, Dante and Justine question “Nathan” (Ryan Paevey) about Sidwell’s escape while in his custody. Turner is not buying his cover story that he was ambushed by Sidwell and his men. Once “Nathan” left the interrogation room, Turner went in on Dante about having “Nathan” on the force after seven years away, and Chase she views as a “dirty cop.”

However, Dante defends both of his officers, but Justine warned that “Nathan” and Chase’s behavior would reflect poorly on Dante as commissioner and she should really think about that. Later, Dante has a terse confrontation with “Nathan” on how he botched a prison transport and that he better watch his back as Justine is one step away from turning this over to Internal Affairs.

COP MADNESS

Next, “Nathan” apologizes for the way he handled the situation with Rocco and says he feels badly. But then in the twist, Dante said that he was grateful that “Nathan” had been there for his son in his time of need (referencing after Rocco shot Cullum and covered it up).

Then, there’s the newest police officer in the precinct, Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett). He may actually be on to “Nathan’s” double life when he questions him about a syringe found in Britt’s room at Bobbie’s. “Nathan” made up a story to counter Joe’s, that he was not aware that his sister was taking anything for her Huntington’s disease diagnosis. Joe called the forensic department lab wanting to know what drug was exactly in the syringe.

BEFORE YOU GO

At Carly’s (Laura Wright), Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) tells her that he must travel to Geneva to speak to the head of the WSB, named Z. Valentin feels it’s the only way to save Josslyn if he informs Z about Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) being a double agent. Valentin shares with Carly that he has to stop Cullum from bringing his dangerous cold fusion device online. Carly is beside herself. She doesn’t want Valentin to sacrifice himself by turning himself into the organization who has made him a fugitive in the first place. Valentin stands firm that he must meet Z in person.

Knowing that revealing himself to the WSB meant he was likely going back to prison, Valentin asked Carly if she’d get in touch with his daughter, Charlotte so he could say good-bye to her. Next, Carly and Valentin make their way to the bedroom to make love, which may be for the very last time, if Valentin is caught and put back in Steinmauer Maximum Security Prison.

Courtesy/ABC

CAUGHT BY CULLUM

At the same time while at Wydemere, Cullum is talking with one of his WSB operatives. Now, he is pondering if Valentin and Sidwell were working together all along.  Next, Cullum entertains the idea of involving the FBI to locate Britt and Rocco. He says he plans to kill them both once he knows of their whereabouts. Cullum sees the only other threat to the completion of the cold fusion project to be Anna Devane.

Cullum wants to track the location of the unidentified person who called the private clinic in France trying to get in touch with Anna, while pretending to be Kevin Collins. When the agent came back with a report, he says it emanated from a cell tower near Shoreline Road. It’s in the that moment that a light bulb goes on for Cullum! Valentin is in Port Charles and hiding at Carly’s!

So, what do you think of the PCPD cops, Chase, Joe and “Nathan?” Who should Dante fire? Do you think Valentin will go the run?Are you digging Carly and Valentin’s relationship and want it to continue, especially with Finola Hughes on her way back as Anna next month on-screen? Weigh-in via the comment section, and in case you missed it, you can check out our latest interview with Dominic Zamprogna below from his appearance on the Michael Fairman Channel, where he talks the PCPD cops, Rocco on the run, and more.
