THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL: Thorsten Kaye and Linsey Godfrey Deliver Emotional Moments As Ridge Drops Bombshell On Caroline!

Courtesy/CBS
Fans of The Bold and the Beautiful saw the set-up coming a mile long! But when it was executed BOLD style, there was still some emotional wallop to the storyline.
Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) just learned she is pregnant. She realized the father of her unborn baby could potentially be either: Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) or his son, Thomas (Pierson Fode). After all, post a mini break-up with Ridge, Caroline downed some anti-depressants and alcohol, and later found herself alone with the younger strapping Forrester. However, that one night (while she tried to put it behind her) has seriously come back to haunt her.
Now after saying their very private “I do’s” to each other, Caroline learned some shocking truth from the man she loves. Ridge had a vasectomy while he was over in Paris. He can’t father children, and he cannot have the vasectomy reversed, even though he relates to her that he so wanted to … for her. Ridge sought a doctor to help him undo what has been done.
In key scenes, a heartbroken Ridge tried gently to explain his decision which led to the vasectomy in the first place. However on Monday’s episode, as Ridge continued to reveal to Caroline – the worst possible news for her predicament- it provided emotionally nuanced scenes for series stars: Thorsten Kaye and Linsey Godrey.
Ridge related to Caroline (after breaking the news that he can’t ever father a child again): “I don’t want you to hate me. In two years, in five years, when doubt comes, and you look around, and look at us, and you think this isn’t enough. I can’t even begin to imagine what your going through right now. This empty feeling inside you. But I’m here, and I will always be here.” Uh-oh! Caroline is in hot water now! Her compassion turned to fear as she realized that Thomas is indeed the father of the baby she is carrying.
Watch Thorsten and Linsey deliver in their emotionally charged scene after the jump! Then, let us know … what did you think of the their performances? What do you think of the storyline? Are you glad that Thomas is the baby-daddy? Or, do you think there will still be some medical twist that will reveal somehow that Ridge is the dad? Comment below!

Kelly Sullivan Gives High Praise to ‘General Hospital’s’ Maura West Recalling When Ava Shot Connie (Exclusive)

It was just over 13 years ago on General Hospital when Ava Jerome (Maura West) shot and killed Kate Howard/Connie Falconeri (Kelly Sullivan) in an effort to keep her quiet from revealing that Derek Wells was actually Ava’s back-from-the-dead brother, Julian Jerome (William deVry). It’s a crime that somehow Ava never has quite paid for either.
The episode back aired on August 13, 2013 and viewers had to say goodbye to Kelly Sullivan who played Kate and her alter, Connie. In the story, just before she died, Kate/Connie scrawled the letters AJ in her own blood, initially making the PCPD and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) think that it was AJ Quatermaine (Sean Kanan) who did the deed.
Now, Sullivan recalled sharing scenes with the three-time Daytime Emmy-winning West, during a live conversation on You Tube’s Michael Fairman Channel. Kelly was the special guest talking about her recent return to the soaps in her new role as The Bold and the Beautiful’s Darcy Dylan.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS OF MAURA WEST
Speaking of her final GH scenes and working with Maura West, Sullivan gave her then GH co-star major props. “If you’re going to be shot by somebody (on the soaps), you want to be shot by Maura West, c’mon!”
Maura West debuted back in May 2013 as Ava, and Sullivan remembered when the As the World Turns favorite began on GH. “I remember when Maura West first arrived at GH. She walked in with this cute little bob (hairdo) and she’s just delicious,” shared Sullivan.
A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE
Kelly revealed more about Maura, adding “I think she’s amazing! I remember right before I left the show, someone suggested, and I would still love to do this with her, if she ever want to, but someone suggested that they wanted to direct the stage play A Streetcar Named Desire with Maura and I, where I would play Stella and she would play Blanche! Wouldn’t that be great?”
Speaking of the Ava/Connie showdown scenes, Sullivan expressed, “On television and on General Hospital specifically, Maura West is able to play a character who does the most horrendous things and you still care about her and that’s the mark of a really great actor. In other words, you’re able to be liked in the midst of the most horrendous things, and as a performer not shying away from that, and to just have the courage to do what’s on the page (in the script).”

KELLY SULLIVAN PARTING THOUGHTS AS SHE LEFT GENERAL HOSPITAL
Kelly also shared her sentiments when she walked off the set of General Hospital after her run back in August of 2013. “I really was honored. Every day I would go to work and I would say a little prayer, which is I want to do justice for my character, explained Kelly. “It’s between me and my character. I get to walk this path with her and to leave the show on that note, which is, I left every out there. I just gave it my all and again what an honor it was to play Kate/Connie.”
You can catch the full conversation with Kelly where she talks about her time on General Hospital, The Young and the Restless where she played Sage Warner and now The Bold and the Beautiful below.
So, do you remember the Ava and Connie scenes where Ava shot and killed her? What did you think of Kelly Sullivan’s sentiments about Maura West? Share your thoughts via the comment section. But first, watch the reveal where Ava recalls murdering Connie below!

Steve Burton Reportedly Signs Three-Year Contract with ‘General Hospital’

The question of will Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) stay awhile at General Hospital after his recent extended hiatus from the show earlier this year, has reportedly been answered.
TMZ via court documents obtained in Burton’s ongoing legal battle with his ex-wife Sheree Gustin, shared that Steve actually inked a new three year deal with the ABC soap opera back in June.
That is significant because it was June when Burton returned back to work as Jason. In addition, the court filing confirmed that Burton had already moved back to California from Tennessee.

STEVE’S HIATUS AND HIS RETURN TO PORT CHARLES
GH fans will recall, it was back in February of 2026, that Burton announced via his Instagram that he was stepping away from his role of Jason Morgan for short break and pointed to wanting to spend quality time with his new wife, Michelle Lundstrom Burton with whom he tied the knot back on May 17, 2025.
Steve expressed at that time, “I’m newly married and looking forward to spending some quality time with my family.” It was back on March 25 that viewers saw Jason carted away by the WSB after taking the fall for Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) who shot then WSB Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes).
Burton returned to work on June 1, and due to General Hospital taping roughly six weeks ahead of air, made his on-screen comeback on the July 13 episode.
GOING FOR GOLD AT THE UPCOMING DAYTIME EMMYS
Then, Steve and his enduring fans got an extra special treat on the same day, when it was revealed on Extra that he was nominated for the upcoming 53rd annual Daytime Emmy Awards in the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Daytime Drama Series category.
Steve previously won in the Supporting Actor category for his work as General Hospital’s Jason in 1998 and as The Young and the Restless’ Dylan McAvoy in 2018.
Now with Jason and Britt’s (Kelly Thiebaud) relationship seemingly hitting the skids, plus Jason’s commitment to staying out of mob life to focus on being present for his son Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), what does the future hold for the fan favorite character? Stay tuned.
So, happy to hear that Steve Burton signed a new three year deal with General Hospital? Knowing that, what storyline would you like to see Jason get involved and with who? Share your thoughts and theories via the comment section.

Thorsten Kaye and Linsey Godfrey have been brilliant! Their scenes yesterday were so raw and felt so real. Daggers to the heart! I certainly hope that there will be a twist so the baby is Ridge’s. I know this is a soap but I would be appalled to see Thomas given a child as a result of his sexual assault on Caroline. She was in No shape to consent. She didn’t have to be tied up or beaten for it to constitute rape. She was barely conscious! Her tears and emotional state should have been enough reason for Thomas to have respected her but it wasn’t. he took advantage of her, betrayed her and his own father without giving anything but what HE wanted a second thought that night. B&B should not be trying to sweep his despicable actions under the rug and they certainly should not be trying to paint what happened that night as a prelude to romance.
Ok, I don’t like that they slept together (soooo predictable) but that’s a bit extreme. Thomas had no way of knowing she had taken pills. What grown woman just starts popping someone else’s pills to begin with. And they were both drinking. He was trying to comfort her and at no time did she pull away or say no.
Aside from that, she was talking to him plenty so she was certainly coherent enough to say NO along with all of her other talking.
He didn’t know about the pills but he knew she was heartbroken and drinking and that she loved his dad and that he loved her back! Don’t understand why the pills are deciding factor. She was talking to him about her love for his father the entire time. She thought she was talking to a friend. By the time he moved to the bed where she was laying practically lifeless and crying, she was seeing in triple and barely awake. Her last words to him were that he was a good friend. How does he rationalize all that and think she wants to have sex with him. He took advantage of the situation and since she couldn’t consent, I call it date rape even if it wasn’t a date. She needed a friend and he needed to get what he’s been fanticising about since the moment he hit back.
It was heartbreaking. I so want Caroline and Ridge to be happy and for Ridge to be the father of her baby. Maybe there’s a possibility–I hope!
I still think Caroline should have told Ridge what happened from the get-go. She was incapacitated and Thomas took advantage of her.
Thorsten Kaye and Linsey Godfrey have been magnificent in the storyline! I’m enjoying the storyline but I’m hoping Ridge turns out to be the father in the end. I want Caridge to prevail!
Amazing scenes between Thorsten & Linsey. I’m hopeful there is more to the story and we will get some medical twist. It’s way too easy in Soap terms. Plus, Linsey has really shined since she has been sharing scenes with Thorsten.
This is a classic soap story– and whole thing will come out eventually, and hopefully in the end it will be Ridge’s child, because I hate to see poor Caroline tied to that slime Thomas all her life— now I know why they recast the role, because this guy plays creepy and icky really well.
No I am horrified at the thought of the rapist, Thomas possibly being the father! I cannot fathom that B&B with all it’s touting of the transgender storyline & all the other socially relevant issues of the day have dropped the ball on this – nothing but rape or date rape – I find nothing romantic or interesting about this & B&B needs to call it what it is & not try to force us to buy Caroline & Thomas as a couple. Ewww! Not liking it. Thorsten & Linsey have been incredible! They have such magic – I am beside myself thinking they might mess up this wonderful couple with the best chemistry I’ve ever seen! Please don’t do it!
Perhaps it’s karma for him seducing (taking advantage) of Caroline when she was married to Rick for crying out loud. What goes around comes around.
Ridge didn’t sleep with Caroline until she was completely done with Rick and months after Rick and Maya were a couple. So while they used bad judgement at the beginning by kissing, they both pulled back and realized they were wrong and tried to do what was right. Caroline humiliated herself quite a bit to Rick because of it and Ridge stepped aside so they could try to work things out,
Ridge & Caroline stayed apart so Caroline could try and get her marriage back together but Rick was already sleeping with Maya. Rick made a fool of her and never got it back so as far as karma goes lets hope Rick & Maya get it back.
I agree 100%. This was rape no matter what Thomas says. Caroline was drinking and took pills. This creep should be behind bars. I never liked this new Thomas anyways.
Ridge has enough kids he never spent time with or mentioned until they were adults. When’s the last time he even mentioned or asked to see R.J.?
All they have done is made this a Ridge and Brooke redo with a younger version of Brooke, where all these fluke things happen to her that create scandal.
TK and LG were excellent but I’m not a fan of the story. I know that the father/son WTD storyline has been done on B&B before and this is a nod to history, but this story feels like it’s going at 150 mph with no slowdown in sight. Caroline’s need for a baby, right here and now, was a little much, but B&B should have stuck to Ridge not wanting to have another baby and used that as the conflict between the couple. It’s now ugly with father vs. son as the possible father, more secrets as Caroline keeps this big one from Ridge, and the embarrassment of Brooke as the one person to whom Ridge has been confiding. Can’t Brad Bell find something else for KKL to do? As for Thomas, all I’ll say is that I don’t think B&B intended for the audience to be as critical of him as I’ve been reading, and that’s B&B’s fault, not the fans. They should have written Thomas as being more aware of Caroline’s feelings and more respectful of the relationship. I don’t think they were expecting the backlash they’ve gotten. I’m guessing the baby will be Ridge’s and all will be forgotten and forgiven soon, since conflict doesn’t last long on B&B. But this is a bad storyline with very good acting and that’s the best I can say about it.
I just love these to together and it looks like Ridge has finally settled down. I don’t know why Caroline has to tell Thomas the truth about the baby. She has two choices. Both are lies but it’s a soap and I would like to see her & Ridge stay together. 1ST.Tell Ridge the truth and if he can accept it they can pretend it’s Ridge’s child and his operation didn’t work 2ND. Have an abortion or actually 3RD. Take off for a few days and come back prego. saying she had artificial insemination, Ridge can tell Brooke that he’s fine after all and all will be well. Speaking of which why is Brooke always hanging around? She is getting so sickening, always asking questions or giving Thomas half answers. Please send her back to Italy for a holiday.
I think TK is doing a great job with the material he is given. This storyline is stupid and this couple is unbelievable. I feel sorry for Ridge, because Caroline has to have a baby even though he doesn’t want another child. The choices he is making is for Caroline and to make sure his Child bride won’t leave him, his ego can’t take it. Caroline is too childish for this man. It is sad that Bell had to write the story for Thomas as he did. However, from history it’s Karma to Ridge. Didn’t he do the same thing to Brooke? Took advantage of her when she was passed out? Ridge is getting payback and he is also getting Payback for stealing his daddy’s young wife. So I can’t feel sorry for either character. IMO Caroline was coherent enough to say no. What I saw was a woman willing to kiss a man and turn to him. She did it with Ridge and she is doing it with Thomas. Thomas was as dumb and stupid as Caroline. This baby better be Thomas’s, because there is no way Ridge can be daddy. Unless Bell wants to undo all the writing he has done. Not only with the Vasectomy, but also infertility.
There are a lot of young girls married to older men in real life and are very happy with the stability in the relationship. (Canadian Celine Dion) for one. How about Annett Benning and Warren Beatty? Eric was an old goat with grown children when he got involved with Brooke. Thomas never knew about the pills but all she talked about was Ridge. He knew she was hurting and he just took what he wanted. For gosh sake the next morning she couldn’t even remember. Thomas is a date rapist and I hope he gets caught and punished. I don’t like this Thomas anyways he’s creepy as heck. To the powers that be I hope this is Ridge’s child. This is one couple that it seems most people love
Sure there are but I doubt the wife acts like a Teeny bopper and they want the same things in life. Caroline wants young children and Ridge had his family and is dancing through hoops for Caroline. So is Caroline going to tell Ridge he is going to be a grandpa? I doubt it. She will keep her indiscretions to herself. Again she sure didn’t say no to Thomas’s advances when it was happening. She could have and she didn’t. She even told her doctor he didn’t take advantage of her. If she felt it was any kind of rape, she would stay away from him and she doesn’t. Caroline needs to grow up
Will have to agree to disagree. When she woke-up in the morning and Thomas told her they had sex she through him out. No I don’t believe she will call it date rape because she loves Ridge and she wouldn’t want to hurt him. She also knows the relationship between Ridge & Thomas is not strong & I think she knows that would be the end of Thomas’s career if Caroline told him. In real life she’s 27 and he’s 49. That really is no biggy, 22 years. Take a look at Michael Douglas at 71 and his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones at 46. He has a son (Cameron) from his first marriage and three kids from Catherine. I have to say Caroline has no dad and was brought up with two gay mom’s but if that was my daughter the police would be picking up Thomas. Even if Thomas was to think back to when he called her she said she was in a hotel. He knew she was drinking and crying over Ridge. Common-sense would tell him this is not the time to try and rekindle the past. Im sorry I guess time will tell. I know how you see it but in my mind this is a classic date-rape. Taking advantage of someone who is just about past out to have sex. I think Thomas is a pig.
I don’t have a problem with the AGE. You can have physical age and psychological age. IMO Caroline is too immature for Ridge. Now if you are going on age by actors you are right it isn’t that big a deal..but you can’t because Ridge has a history and that is what Thorsten picked up when he joined Bold. So even though Thorsten is 49, Ridge is closer to 59. Again I don’t have a problem with the age, if Caroline would grow up and stop acting like a young kid. Well I think Thomas is icky too, but no one on that show, not even Ridge is perfect. There is no way what Thomas did would stop Bell from putting them together. From what I understand Ridge did the same thing to a young Brooke. He went to bed with her when she was passed out cold. Did you call it rape then? or date rape? Was it ok for Ridge to do that? This is Brad Bell and to him that is Romance. All he cares about is the plot point, which was to get Caroline Pregnant and to cause Drama for Ridge and Caroline. It wouldn’t have made sense for Caroline to sleep with Thomas, so they drugged her up and added booze to the mix. Then he had Thomas get bombed too. So you have two drunk people reacting poorly and THAT is the story. It isn’t date rape, because technically he was drunk too and they never showed what they did in bed. So all we know she was all over him. The reason she didn’t remember in the morning was because of the drugs, of which he had no clue she took. Yes he took advantage of her upset which is slimy…but Caroline was fully aware and participating. She was kissing him back and not saying no. So THAT is what Bell is going to use to save the couple and the baby is going to be used to build them up. Because Brad Bell likes his women and men moving around. Caridge have been a couple for too long, now is the time to shuffle.
Peg Well as I said we’ll have to agree to disagree and I can see the way Bill Bell is going especially since Brook is always hanging around. I think Ridge will eventually go back with her which makes me ill but Ill continue to watch until the final break-up between Ridge & Caroline and then take the Fall off for awhile.
I love how not one comment mentions Brooke Logan. YES! For that, i am a Ridge and Caroline 2.0 super-fan.
Their performances were good for what it’s worth, but this is just another silly story line involving Forrester men sharing the same woman. I know everyone deserves a shot, but this Thomas is so miscast it’s unbearable. His lack of expression and that hair cut is not winning any points in this corner.
I was a big fan of this couple until, to prove his “great love” for Caroline, Ridge decided to lie and keep secrets about his inability to father children, and Caroline in return, married him while keeping the secret of her night with Thomas from Ridge. The fact that neither of them could come clean with the other before making such a life altering commitment shows just how immature and not ready for marriage these two are and makes their words to each other and everyone else about how much they love each other ring hollow. I can’t buy what they say they feel for each other when they can’t even be honest with each other. That said, the actors did do a great job with the material.
I really enjoy how these two actors feed off of one another….
However, I don’t understand how the writers are allowing Ridge to tell Brooke his deepest secrets and keep it from his love, Caroline. Ridge would NOT do that… he came back a completely different man, and for him to take Brooke on this journey IS NOT consistent with Ridge for the past year.
Disappointed…Brooke and Ridge better not be the end game….!!
Please don’t reward Thomas for being a creep. It SHOULD BE RIDGE & CAROLINE’S BABY…Please make it so…Please RETIRE BROOKE!
