The Bold and the Beautiful To Shoot On Location In France!

Add one more exciting locale to the list of  The Bold and the Beautiful!  The CBS soap opera will shoot episodes in the French capital of Paris next week, the series announced during a press conference at the Monte Carlo Television Festival.

The Bold and the Beautiful is long overdue for a rendezvous with the world-renowned romance of Paris, France. Forrester Creations has always had its international office in Paris, and now we’re going to take our cameras in for a closer look. We will show you Paris as you’ve never seen it before,” says series Executive Producer and Head Writer, Bradley Bell.

Cast members:  Kim Matula (Hope), Scott Clifton (Liam), Ashleigh Brewer (Ivy) and Darin Brooks (Wyatt) will begin the three-day multi-episode location shoot on June 11th and the episodes will air in the U.S. on the CBS Television Network from August 6 through August 14th.  Audiences in France will see the episodes in 2016.

B&B was first aired on French state broadcaster France 2 under the title Amour, Gloire et Beauté on June 12th, 1989, where it is still broadcast today.  Given that this week is the 25th anniversary of B&B airing in France, it is fitting that the show honors its international broadcast partners with this special location shoot.

Recently the drama series  filmed episodes in Abu Dhabi and Dubai in March 2014 and will tape scenes in Monaco on today and tomorrow June 10th., during the 54th Monte Carlo Television Festival.  Other shoots have included Lake Como (1997), Venice (1999), Portofino (2002), Sydney, Australia (2007), Aspen, Colorado (2011-12), Cabo San Lucas, Mexico (2011), Puglia, Italy (2012) and Monte Carlo (2013).

So what do you think about B&B shooting in Paris?  Do you think the plot point will be a major turning point in the relationships between Wyatt, Hope, Liam?  Will the shoot serve as the backdrop to really put the new character of Ivy firmly on the canvas?  Share your thoughts below!

Oh Lord…who freakin’ cares? Can’t they bloody use the money for all these location shoots to hire some decent writers and to bring back fan favourites (you know…Forresters, Spectra’s, Marone’s)? And yet another bloody, stupid story line revolving around the biggest bore on daytime, Hope Logan????

Am I in the minority here? Is anyone else truly enjoying B&B? I haven’t watched the show in months; I keep checking boards and spoilers to see if anything new and refreshing is going to happen, not just the same old recycled crap! I want to tune in to see Sean Kanan but knowing Brad Bell, he’ll only be used to prop up Brooke and Hope Logan. I just can’t tune in anymore. Uuugghhhh….

I’m right there with you, mk. I’ll add that the ratings for B&B for the first week of the very expensive, heavily hyped shoot in the United Arab Emirates saw B&B losing viewers from the previous week. There’s a lesson here about spending money on glamour and externals, but not caring enough to have the story make sense or to focus on any characters other than Brooke, Bill and Ridge, and Hope and her many suitors on the home front. Seriously this show is more concerned about how this accident affects Quinn and her son, and Hope and her choice. Also, sadly, every time B&B shows Ridge falling helplessly out of the helicopter, I burst into laughter and I don’t think that’s the result B&B intended. That moment was so cheesy and ridiculous, and I don’t believe for a single second that Ridge is dead, so why keep showing the scene? It’s like the Darla floating head. Now they’re going to Paris. Good luck with the ratings with that one.

How about a love triangle with Brooke, Hope and Deacon?…lol

Ha ha! They better take Brooke. She never gets to go anywhere and they never give her enough attention.

jimh…a Brooke/Deacon/Hope love triangle is just too sick…yet, that would be so funny…LOL!!!!! Dude…your comment made me LMAO…LOL!!!!! Guess what??? I’m still laughing…LOL!!!!!

Take care. Peace.

Lesli Kaye=Felicia is set to make an appearance in August!!!

Agree gosh how I miss SF/Stephanie no wonder she retired I wonder if she sits and watches this mess and just shakes her head.

Amen! This triangle is, like the show surrounding it, hopelessly dull. Wyatt and Hopeless are just giddy all the time, and Liam has transformed into a self-righteous prig. I, too, have mostly stopped watching the show, but when I do tune in, it reminds me why I quit in the first place.

mk…I am emotionally on-board with you and I totally agree!!!!! I am so sick of (1) that bland-as-hell Hope and her being torn between two brothers crap and (2) that stupid bimbo Brooke acting like such a needy nitwit when it comes to male characters on the show!!!!!

ENOUGH ALREADY!!!!!

I can’t stand this trio in the photo above. I’m not a daily or even weekly fan of the show. I tune-in when I am off for the day or home at lunch. No matter when I tune-in, it always seems to be the same story.

I am so sick of Hope and Liam. Please bring Steffy back and Felicia.

I am so tired of Wyatt and Hope. They are the worst couple ever on daytime! YUK! Let Hope and Liam marry!

I can see it now: Wyatt asks Hope to elope there in France…Liam grabs Hope and they take off in a helicopter but it tips and Liam falls out and goes missing in the ocean…lol

We can only hope he goes missing!

Better storyline Hope, Liam & Wyatt fall in the ocean and are never seen or heard of again!

Its a silly boring love triangle that is going nowhere…its like that dumb Bacherlotte reality…hard to tell which is worse…best part is Quinn…imo!

LMAO…No one at Forrester should EVER go out of the country to get married because inevitably someone is bound to fall from a great height. Steffy didn’t even need a helicopter..the girl just didn’t know how to peek off a CLIFF…OF ALL THINGS!!!

Your comment is so funny…LOL!!!!! And…as far as I’m concerned, that lovesick and dorky Liam and his idiot girlfriend Hope can BOTH fall out of a helicopter and go missing in the ocean…FOREVER!!!!! SAYONARA!!!!!

Problem solved.

.
whoopeeedoooo .. who cares LOL ..

I’m going to India later this year, who cares ?.
(nobody, thought so lol)

That’s not fair, su000. I care.

Awww geez, Harry.. I’ll bring back some really good incense for you 🙂
AND! a picture of me on an elephant!! wow huh..

Awesome! I think it’s a great idea and I love seeing these location shoots. Too bad we won’t see Thorne as he works there.

I guess I may be one who only watches because I like Hope and Liam together. I think Wyatt is as off as his mom. I haven’t seen Brooke and nuRidge together enough to see if they have the same chemistry as Brooke and oleRidge but I like Brooke with Bill but I don’t like Katie with either nuRidge or Bill. The only reason I watch this show is because of Hope and Liam and Brooke and Ridge/Bill. I really hate to say this but if Wyatt and his crazy mom stay on the show I do believe I won’t watch any more. They are just a little too much.

Brooke – how many marriages; how many men stories so tireeeeed; and Hope/Liam are so boooring.
I would rather have Steffy, Felicia, Bridget, Quinn, Decan, Katie, Ridge, Bill, Thorne, CJ, Amber.

i’m with you…Wyatt and Quinn need to leave the show or I am about to stop watching BB..

Everyone is so dramatic on this. First I want to point out that this is the first time in ages that there have been as much storylines going on as there have been since the 2014 season started and may I point out that you are meant to hate Quinn. Come on don’t deny it you all love hating her. You have loved watching her spiral out of control. Its how I used to feel about Bill with all his schemes and when he got caught it was awesome. So dont deny that your all going to love it that Quinn is getting fired this week. I am team Wyatt so obviously I’m disappointed that the triangle has at the moment come to an end however i think having hope being openly involved with both Spencer brothers was a mistake and I’m glad it didnt last long. I also can’t wait to see the France episodes No. Other soap has had this many amazing places being featured on the show. I do think that the show is missing a little old fashioned romances in the last few months so I can’t wait for that to be the refocus and congrats to Ashleigh Brewer on her casting as Ivy can’t wait to see her in action Go B&B

Please Stop The Madness – I will probably be giving up B&B soon – I fear for my sanity if Hope-Liam- Wyatt goes on any longer. I am sick to death of it.
Enough already – – Somebody please think of something new.
Please Where is Ridge and Katie?

I’m hoping that Wyatt and Hope get married. Can’t wait to see Quinn come back.
