The Bold and The Beautiful Unveils The Ingo Rademacher Promo!

Courtesy/CBS

LA’s hottest fashion house is about to get hotter with the arrival of Ingo Rademacher to the cast of The Bold and the Beautiful.

In the new promo for Ingo’s debut as the new Thorne Forrester, it looks like this Thorne is here to stake his claim at Forrester Creations, and will certainly be giving his half-brother Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) a run for his money.

As soap fans know, Ingo is best known for his work as Jax on ABC’s General Hospital.  Now coming over to B&B, rumors are rampant that Thorne and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) may become an item … but stay tuned!

On-Air On-Soaps will have more with Ingo with some teases from our conversation with the newest addition to the Forrester clan in the days ahead.

After the jump, watch CBS Daytime’s promo ushering in Ingo as the new Thorne when he debuts next Monday on the November 27th episode.  Then, let us know if you will be tuning-in to check out Ingo in his new soap role via the comment section below!

i adore ingo rademacher!!!

Saw it on FB yesterday. Looks good.

yeah, just what we need, right ?

to see Ingo Rademacher’ nuThorne –

sullied and tainted and wasted w/ KKL’ Brooke… could Kate be far behind ?

I agree with a poster , that Quinn belongs WITH Eric. they are the hottest couple.

just saying… find a new woman to grace B&B.

why not recast Brooke and katie

Nooooo…I love the actresses who play Brooke and Katie. Isn’t that part of the escapism of a soap…feeling familiar and comfortable with the characters in, hopefully, the same actor/actress that we’ve become used to??? Our “familiar” peeps? 🙂

I so agree with you rebecca1

Excellent idea, Patrick! KKL’s Brooke became stale years ago when I actually watched this show….not only was she totally tedious, but her constant flitting about amongst the brothers and their father wore very thin…and she’s still at it after all these years! I’ve also never thought much of the actress who plays Katie, either on B&B or Y&R!

@Shay twenty years ago he replaced Jeff Trachta with Winsor Harmon this is the fourth Thorne Brad Bell actually called Winsor and told him he had new story actually repeat story then one month later he calls back and tells him I have replaced you. Ingo will be the flavor of the month then he will tire of him and jump to something else he needs to retire from writing everything is old and stale. Heather Tom bores me to tears as Katie and Kimberlin Brown’s return a complete bust because of silly plot and she is not playing against the great Susan Flannery that show has suffered since she retired.

Nope…i tried to watch the soap which did have some good moments but i just couldnt get involved in the revolving door of who is sleeping with whom love triangles!!!

What’s completely unessecary recast and disregard for history.

Ingo will be the reason I will keep watching B &B. I will miss him on GH but there are so many stories and actors on that show right now.

I am looking forward to seeing some new blood on the show. I love B&B, but wish they would let couples who have worked hard to be together for so long be happy for more than five minutes (i.e. Bill/Brooke and Steffy/Liam). I also wish the cast was cut back instead of only seeing characters once a month (Rick, Mya, Coco).

I was thinking yesterday when watching B&B that Steffy and Liam haven’t even been married a year and already this (Steffy and Bill having sex).

Can’t wait! And happy to see Ingo get a good promo.

Is he going to come driving up in a Tesla or some other fancy car too?

NO!!! no!
Ingo Rademacher / Jax, belongs to GH, dammit !

To Frank V. This is your fault! Because of you we gh fans lost Ingo to BB, I’m so mad, this really sucks .

i am so happy for ingo – gh did not utilize his talent the last several times he was on the show………………..

I blame Frank V and the powers at ABC! We lose Ingo, Jason Thompson and Tyler Christopher. Who’s next? All we get are the bland Roger Hogarth and Micheal Easton!

You got Billy Miller and Michelle Stafford.

Take her back…..PLEASE!!!!!!

GH got Steve Burton back, sigh..

And– CBS has a much bigger budget and pay grade to offer.

just want to thank you

for telling it like it is

like having a fellow “ally” to tell Frank and Shelley and/or TPTB that the production value @GH is lame

there’s a lot of splash and heralding going on right now

Carly and Sonny
BM Jason and Sam
Michael and Nelle
Franco
Dr. Finn

woah – hold on Steve Burton is “coming”

after all is said and done.. and if it takes 3 years for Steve Burton BLUE eyes and staredown… take that long

with the writing @GH

and GH hanging on their STAR power ?

the focus of the fab four plus whomever Steve Burton is ?

what’s this show supposed to be about ?

with Carly, Sonny, BM Jason, Sam, SB Jason

their character ‘ are so limited and one note

Love Ingo. He deserves a great storyline. Here’s hoping that B&B gives it to him.

Brad Bell interview. Maya will just be a married woman with kids. Katie and Wyatt will stay friends with benefits. No idea what to do with Nicole. Doesn’t want to recast Thomas or Zende. Hiring new characters even though Spectra is full of them and Spencer publications has at least two recurring. After two weeks of the same conversations centering around a ridiculous skyscraper that could have been built anywhere and a company that could have been housed in ultra modern quarters there (Spectra)..just to watch special effects of a building demolished. .with two people in it who should have been near death and terrified who decide to grope each other. ..ummm..just NO.!

Aaron (Justin) is now on contract.

Sally should take Bill up on his offer to relocate her. She took out a huge loan. She needs to make money. Or file for bankruptcy.

I hope there is more story for the Spectra gang. They started off with a bang. Maybe Thorne will partner with Sally.

This show needs to be an hour long with all the cast members.

Judith, I have been saying the same thing for years…30 mins is not long enough

Maybe it was either cut the hour or cancellation? Saved their budget? I’d love for it to be an hour, too, but if iit’s budgetary then I’m glad they found a way to save it.

B&B was never an hour show.

Oh, wow! Really? I didn’t know that! I didn’t realize any of the soaps were only 30 minutes; just assumed it was for, as mentioned, budget.

Well, then, yes! I agree; It should be an hour!

Thanks for the info.

I love the show. A relative newcomer…maybe a bit over a year I think. Maybe two…can’t even keep track! But I like the whole family/generational thing, the loyalties, many times divided yet still centered around the dynamics of the Forresters and their connectedness to the Spencers, the Spectras…as well as peripheral characters. So funny how completely different it is than GH. Two soaps couldn’t have less in common, other than being daytime soaps.

So, I haven’t watched when Winsor Harmon played Thorne, but from what I’ve seen I have no idea why they replaced him. They seem about the same age; both good-looking.

I loved Jax. Sorry to see GH didn’t realize what a great character he was and bring him back. I’m curious to see how he plays this role…I’ve yet to watch him in American accent. Looking forward. I’m still wondering if there was some tampering and if he’s really Liam’s father. Then when Steffy undoubtedly turns out pregnant with Bill’s child…will Liam be hating his father or his uncle???

Ugh! Just caught my mistake. Thorne and Bill aren’t brothers so I’m editing the last sentence of my above comment….will Liam be hating his “father” or someone who is now just Bill (not “just Jack”… lil wink/wink to Will and Grace) to him.

I love Ingo but I hate Winsor Harmon was cast aside like this. He will always be the true Thorne to me.

Ingo had a great debut today. I liked Winsor in the part but as someone who has watched since Day 1 I have to say he was not my Thorne. The Thorne I remember is the guy who battled for Caroline, went nuts and shot Ridge. The man who chose to leave Forrester because Eric passed him over because Stephanie wanted her Ridge apppointed heir to the throne. Cant wait for Ingo to make Thorne his own and let the battle for Forrester begin. Maybe he will convince Brooke to force Bill into giving her that 12 percent. I know folks (me included) want Jax back but give him a chance. Also, I am tired of folks bagging on KKL. She IS a founding cast member and a legacy character like JMC’s Eric is. Folks need to realize that Katherine and John and their characters will stay until they want to leave. Brooke can be polarizing but the fact that folks get so riled about her means Mr Bell is doing his job. I see both sides but wish folks would lay off because she isnt going anywhere. As far as Thorne and his love life goes I hope they ease into it but I do want him to go after his half niece and her role in his daughters death. We never really got that good confrontation.
