THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL: What Did You Think of Steffy and Finn’s Highly-Anticipated Reunion?

On Monday and Tuesday’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) finally was reunited with her husband, Finn (Tanner Novlan).
As the story goes, Steffy has fallen into a deep depression and took off to Monaco. Set against the backdrop of Monte Carlo, a very much alive Finn searches for her. After some false starts, they see each other for the first time outside a cathedral. What followed was sweeping epic music, hugs, kisses, and tears as Steffy was trying to comprehend that the man she saw Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) shoot a bullet through never actually died.
Now, where the story gets a bit glossed over is when they get back to the hotel. Finn explains that he wouldn’t have made it, if it wasn’t for his mom, Li (Naomi Matsuda). Steffy wonders if Li knew Finn was alive, why wouldn’t she tell her? Finn tells Steffy that Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) found them and things went down hill from there, but doesn’t get into any grisly details. When Steffy has some questions, Finn just wants to relish the moment, and promises he will never be apart from her ever again.
Next, Taylor (Krista Allen) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) arrive with the children, Kelly and Hayes, and the Finnegan/Forrester clan are back together again, against all odds, complete with epic music and slo-motion.
Throughout this story arc, kudos has to go to Tanner Novlan. Without his emotional performances and the viewers investing in Finn’s freedom from the hands of Sheila, this would not have played the same.
So, what did you think of the Sinn reunion? Do you think it holds up with the other classic B&B couple reunions? Did it fall flat in the explanation from Finn to Steffy of where he has been all this time, or do you think the key points were on-point and you were reaching for the hankies, anyways? Share your thoughts in the comment section, but first watch the final scene from Tuesday’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful below.
I loved the Monaco reunion for Steffy and Finn. The atmosphere was romantic from the moment we saw the beautiful city. I loved the Heavenly scenes at the church and the church bells were symbolic of Gods Grace and Love . For Sinn to be reunited by church bells is the reason I love soaps. 1 happy viewer
So sweet love the location shots!
Absolute old school classic soap complete with remote. Loved it
I loved the reunion. But I don’t think Monaco was necessary for what the storyline was. They could’ve done this in LA. I like when the entire or most of the cast travel for a huge story, etc.
It was kind of a let down to me. Steffy acts more like someone just died than getting her beloved husband back. She does not act happy at all, hardly ever smiles, she should be over the moon. The best reaction is from Kelly, her little girl. That kid is something else, what a good little actress. Iam so sick of Ridge and Taylor, she just can’t keep her hands off of him and he’s loving it but Brooke should not be anywhere near Deacon, what a hypocrite he is. Just a little added complaint. Why don’t they get babies with the same coloring as the “parents”. Steffy and Fenn both dark hair and this baby looks like he belongs to someone else.
Violet…I feel the same about Steffy’s reaction to having Finn back…alive. But then I think she provoked Sheila in the first place. I just don’t like her character. If anything Finn (Tanner) is doing all of “celebrating” for both of them. As is Ridge and Taylor. About R&T…if they can get so upset and feel betrayed by family picture of Brooke that includes Deacon wonder what Brooke would think about all the hugging going on between her husband and his ex? But “Oh,”. She never sees it.

Sure agree with you. I’ve never liked Steffys , high and mighty attitude. Look at all she did to get Liam away from Hope. I like Finn, but he got no bargain with her! Well, it will be interesting to see what she does to ruin this miracle she just got.
Will probably sleep with Bill as a thank you! She’ll muck it up for sure.
Agree. Steffys reaction was more like someone died and to be honest JMW I think was a little over the top in her acting with this.
It was done well but I’ve never been a fan of Steffy & Finn it’s the worst coupling on the show in my opinion and very overrated. Most Steffy fans only like Finn because he’s not Liam. They still hate how Liam chooses Hope all the time over Steffy. Steffy & Finn have absolutely no chemistry and aren’t anywhere close to sexy like Quinn & Carter. That reunion was much smaller and felt a lot better. Even Taylor & Deacon have a better connection. LOL!
Steffy seems “shell-shocked” to me. Everyone else is definitely showing their happiness better. I could absolutely kill stupid Hope for taking that dumb picture of the 3 of them then posting it!!!!!!! WHY???? She is an idiot. Brooke has been so patient & accepting of everything that has happened to her & waiting for Ridge to make up his mind, taking care of Steffy & now flying off with Taylor! And 30 unintentional seconds with Deacon causes Ridge to kiss Taylor. Ridge does not deserve Brooke.
Gloria
Iam not a fan of Brooke, but she’s taken more than enough emotional abuse from “his hignass” Ridge. I’d have kicked him out on his butt a long time ago. We used to talk about wishy washy Liam, but Ridge does the same thing.
Gloria
I agree with you somewhat but as Hope told her mom today, she should be able to take a photo with her mom and dad and not have to worry how it might effect St.Ridge, my words not Hope’s. Brooke should have kicked his bullying ass out long ago after that affair/wedding he had with the Las Vegas bimbo.
Please make the show one hour !! And then bring some Y&R characters over .
I cried.

DANCING WITH THE STARS: Semi-Finals Conclude with A Shocking Twist

Talk about giving people a near heart attack! After a night of high level competition from the remaining celebrity contestants and their pro partners, the ‘semi-finals’ edition of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars featured a jaw-dropping ending.
This week saw each couple tackling two all-new dances; one ballroom-style routine and one Latin-style routine. Marvel star Xochitl Gomez topped the leaderboard after two rounds of competition with pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy. Xochitl and Val scored a perfect 60 points from the judges performing a samba to Gloria Estefan’s “Samba’ and then a stunning waltz to Lady Gaga’s “La Vie en Rose”.
Following the waltz, judge Derek Hough became emotional and was moved to tears telling Xochitl and Val that the late head judge, Len Goodman, would have loved their performance, adding, “That was absolutely perfect.”

Going into the semi-finals, the couples were told of the five couples remaining only four would survive and move on the finals. With everything on the line, and through her back pain, Ariana Madix and Pasha Pashkov finally received their first perfect score from the judges performing a foxtrot.
Jason Mraz and Daniella Karagach also received a perfect score in their second round waltz. Judge Carrie Ann Inaba said that Jason showed “emotional freedom” in this precise routine.
Charity Lawson and Artem Chigvintsev received 59 out of 60 and a perfect score for their second round performance to the quickstep. The judges commended the former star of The Bachelorette for finally showing some emotion in her performances, instead of just always showing them precision in her dance routines.

When it was time to reveal which couple was going home and which couples made it to the finals … in a heart-stopping moment, Alyson Hannigan and Sasha Farber, who believed they would be the couple going home, were first named as “safe!” As each couple learned their fate, the final two couples left and supposedly in the bottom two were … Ariana and Pasha and Xochitl and Val. How could this be? Did America vote off the wrong couple?
Then, in a stunning twist, co-hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough announced that no one was going home meaning all five couples from the semi-finals were moving on to the finals, and their scores for the night would carry over into the final round.

Photo: ABC
Ariana Madix was moved to tears, thinking her time on the show was over. She later told Page Six (after the episode came to an end), “That pretend elimination was the most terrifying thing. It was sick and twisted. I was like, ‘I love you guys, but also, I hate you guys for that!’”

Photo: ABC
Alyson Hannigan weighed-in on the shocking conclusion as well: “When (Alfonso) called my name, I thought he made a mistake. I was in total disbelief and I was waiting for him to correct himself .. and then he didn’t correct himself and I was like, ‘What universe are we in?’”
The three-hour Season 32 finale kicks off Tuesday, December 5th at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC and Disney+.
So, with all five couples moving on to next week’s season 32 finale, who do you think deserves to win the newly-named Len Goodman Mirror Ball Trophy? Share your picks via the comment section below. But first check out the dance of the night from Xochitl and Val.

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS: The Newmans Are Blindsided By Who Aunt Jordan and Claire Really Are

On Monday’s November 27th episode of The Young and the Restless, true identifies began to be revealed as Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) and Claire’s (Hayley Erin) plot took hold.
The story picked-up with poor Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) awake and in a drunken stupor and seeing things very blurry. Realizing the nightmare she finds herself in, she grabs the pillow and tries to sleep, but finds a photo of Eve Howard (the late Margaret Mason) behind it. Nikki recognizes the photo of Eve and is left bewildered.
Cole (J. Eddie Peck), who has arrived to the house, is downstairs leaving a message for Victoria on his cellphone. He says he followed Nikki’s instructions but is perplexed at just who’s house he is in. Next, Aunt Jordan appears from behind with a hammer, no less, and clobbers Cole on the head.

Later, Jordan is now hovering over Nikki’s bedside. Jordan tells Nikki to stay calm and well-hydrated and how she shouldn’t have pulled the IV out. (Oh no! Nikki will now drink the IV, or did she do that already?) Next, Jordan tells her that her family will be arriving soon. Nikki is distraught and under the influence and tells Jordan, “You did this to me!” Jordan replies, “No, Nikki. You did this to yourself. Your whole family did this to you.” After Nikki has fallen asleep she has a dream – and we get a flashback to a crazed Eve in a showdown scene with Nikki.
With the Newmans all downstairs, Claire offers them all some water, while they wait for her Aunt Jordan. Finally, Jordan shows up with a faux cast in her arm with a flimsy story about what happened to Nikki, hinting she was drunk, and what happened when the paramedics came and took her to the hospital.

Courtesy/CBS
However, that was a ruse and Jordan lets the Newmans have it. She tells them to shut up if they ever want to see Nikki again. Jordan asks Victor (Eric Braeden) if she looks familiar to him. He says I never seen you before in my life. Jordan then tells Victor, you knew my sister Eve Howard, intimately. Jordan tells Victor he broke her sister’s heart and dumped her like she wasn’t human. Now they must all make amends.

Jordan says she and Eve were estranged when Eve died, and if she would have never come to Genoa City they would have reconciled. At that point, Jordan admits that Nikki is not in the hospital nor did she have seizure. She said all that to get them to the house. Throughout the conversation, Victor, Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) have all been sipping on their water bottles. That is when Jordan admits they all just drank poison and soon they will have heart attacks, and she will take great pleasure in watching them die.
Just then, Claire drags Cole in to the living room. Victoria is shocked to see Cole, but even more shocked when Claire says,“He had to be here for the family reunion… didn’t he mother?” We fade to black.

So, what do you think (if it holds true) that Aunt Jordan is Eve’s sister and that Claire is Cole and Victoria’s daughter? Comment below.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Thanksgiving Brings Gloria and Emma Back to Port Charles, While Sasha Struggles to Move on With Cody, Valentin Confronts Charlotte

In a heartfelt Thanksgiving episode (pt 1) from General Hospital, sometimes it’s the smaller moments that have the biggest impact. As we begin Turkey Day gatherings, Lois (Rena Sofer) has a surprise for Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) and the rest of the Quartermaines, when her mother Gloria (Ellen Travolta) arrives!
With Gloria (Ellen Travolta) and Lois at the helm of cooking Thanksgiving dinner, this could be the year that nothing goes wrong with the Q’s Thanksgiving dinner … don’t count on it! Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) arrives with Chase (Josh Swickard) and is thrilled to see grandma Gloria.
Later, Gloria meets Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) and Cody (Josh Kelly) and says what a stunning couple they are. In the Q’s living room, Gloria tells Sasha she’s a big fan of hers from Home & Heart, and to remember that she has a knight in shining armor in Cody. After all, he was the one who saved her from their attempt to drive her crazy on TV. Eventually, Sasha sneaks out. Cody waits and then decides to find her.

Photo: ABC
While Gloria is in the kitchen, she gets a call on her cellphone that says, “Uncle Pete.” This changes Gloria’s demeanor as something is amiss. When Lois meets up with her mom in the kitchen, she sees that Gloria has poured some booze in her drink. Gloria gets a call again, but ignores it.
Cody has found Sasha in the stables with Ferdinand. It is then, we get to the root cause of what is going on with her. Sasha shares that this time last year she had Brando and Liam in her life and they are both gone. Sasha feels like she is betraying them, if she allows herself to move on, and that would make her feel she is leaving them behind. Sasha knows Brando would want her to go on with her life. Cody says moving on doesn’t mean forgetting.

Photo: ABC
When Gloria heads to the Q’s living room to announce that dinner will be ready in a few minutes, Lois may have just jinxed the meal when she mentioned that “They’ve broken the curse.” Ned (Wally Kurth) thinks she just jinxed things and Edward’s ghost will arrive soon. Then, like clockwork the smoke alarm sounds. Leo exclaims, “Here we go again!”

Photo: ABC
Elsewhere, a melancholy Anna (Finola Hughes) is in for a surprise when a chipper Robert (Tristan Rogers) shows up at her hotel room door. Knowing she is fretting over shooting Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) and her relationship with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), he has brought someone to cheer her up. With a knock at her door, Anna is thrilled to see her granddaughter Emma in a return visit from an all-grown up Brooklyn Rae Silzer.
Meanwhile, Charlotte is home from the hospital and Laura (Genie Francis) and Valentin confront her for what she did to Anna – and how Victor was manipulating her from the grave with the letter he wrote to her. Charlotte lies claiming she did not set fire to Anna’s. Valentin looks puzzled and worried as to how he can breakthrough to his daughter, especially now that his relationship with Anna has tanked.

Photo: ABC
Finally, it’s a Davis girls Thanksgiving as Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) hosts her daughters plus TJ (Tajh Bellow) Jordan (Tanisha Harper) and Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez), who gets a last minute invitation from Kristina (Kate Mansi). Sam (Kelly Monaco) tells Kristina how proud of her she is, while Molly (Kristen Vaganos) and TJ share that, although they are sad about what happened to their potential child, they are thankful for what they do have. TJ tells Alexis he has chosen neurology as his medical speciality. Could she be hoping he could help her with Gregory’s (Gregory Harrison) ALS condition? Eventually, Alexis makes a toast to her girls and their friends and loved ones.
