‘The Bold and the Beautiful’s’ Brad Bell Confirms Monaco Remote and ‘Secret Story’ Involving Steffy, Sheila, Ridge, Brooke and Finn

The Bold and the Beautiful is taping its Monaco remote in the French Rivera following their cast member appearances at the 65th Monte Carlo Television Festival, which concludes today on June 16.
Brad Bell (executive producer and head writer) chatted for a few minutes with a reporter from FilmFestivals.com and gave a tease of what the series is shooting in two locations: the beach and a church in Monte Carlo (clearly giving us memories of where Finn and Steffy were reunited in 2022 after Steffy believed Finn had died).
The remote will features all five cast members who headed from the U.S. to Monaco for the festival and the remote: Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester), Kimberlin Brown (Sheila Carter), Thorsten Kaye (Ridge Forrester), Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan Forrester) and Tanner Novlan (Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan).

FIVE CAST MEMBERS INVOLVED IN MONACO REMOTE
As to what viewers will eventually see when the remote scenes air on the CBS daytime drama series, Bell shared, “Well, it’s a secret story, but I can tell you that it involves Steffy, Sheila, all these actors here, Ridge, Brooke. and Finn, and there’s something that changes their lives forever that happens. I can’t reveal, it, but it’s going to be good.”
Brad added that B&B will be shooting on the beach in the morning and at a church in the afternoon. He also teased in the story, “It’s happy, and then something amazing happens.” Is a couple getting remarried in the church? Is someone returning to the show?
THE LONGEVITY OF SHEILA CARTER

When asked about how Kimberlin Brown has maintained her on-screen life from: her early years of Sheila’s evil wrongdoings over at The Young and the Restless to then crossing over to The Bold and the Beautiful, Bell explained the longevity expressing. “She (Sheila) has killed many people, and has done s0 many awful things, yet the audience still loves her. Kimberlin’s an amazing actress.”
You can check out the video interview where Brad Bell teases the French Riviera remote below.
So, what do you think B&B is shooting in the actual story today in Monaco? What will happen at the beach and the church where Finn and Steffy were reunited four years ago? Are you one of the longtime viewers of Y&R and B&B who no matter what Sheila Carter does, you want her on the canvas? Weigh-in and give your predictions via the comment section.
This makes me so happy – to see Kimberlin involved in a remote story when she was left out of them so many times in the 90’s when B&B traveled the globe. I think the amazing thing Bell is hinting at will somehow involve a true redemption of Sheila and acceptance by all the others.
I do not share your enthusiasm. Miss Brown may be a wonderful actor but villains have a shelf life. Their machinations become so extreme that the effects wear off. Sheila’s surprise revelation as Finn’s mother was winning but the violence that followed was disturbing, more so the lack of any character accountability other than performative apologies and the loss of an equally reprehensible granddaughter from Finn’s created then dispensed family. I love that a daytime drama still can do sumptuous shoots. I am not high on Ridge and Brooke romance. They can never commit and honestly their self-centeredness keeps me from caring. He ran his father out of Forrester and she is devastating cruel to her sister Katie.
Hopefully
Just don’t have a brooke and ridge wedding.
They put the mono in Monaco. lol
I wish Brooke didn’t have to be included in every storyline!
I am excited to see what they have cooked up for Sheila. Maybe she’ll finally be allowed to see her grandson.
Looking forward to the story and the remotes!

‘General Hospital’s’ Bluesy Burke Marks 1 Year as Charlotte Cassadine: ‘It’s The Best Gift I’ve Ever Received’

Today, September 8 makes it one year since Bluesy Burke’s first appearance as General Hospital’s Charlotte Cassadine, the daughter of Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
To mark the one year anniversary of her time on-screen, Burke took to her Instagram with a post and photo of herself along with her GH co-stars including: Alexa Havins, Asher Antonyzyn (Danny Morgan) and Finn Carr (Rocco Falconeri).
Burke captioned the photo, “1 year on General Hospital. I truly can’t believe it. Time really flies!! I am so grateful I get to be apart of this amazing family. I feel as though I’ve grown so much over this past year and I’ve met some of my best friends. Thank you so much Frank Valentini (executive producer, GH) and Mark Teschner (casting director, GH) for taking a chance on me. It’s the best gift i’ve ever received.”

Photo: ABC
Several other of Burke’s GH co-stars jumped into the comment thread with their congrats including: Laura Wright (Carly Spencer), Sawandi Wilson (Isaiah Gannon) and Kayden Brenna Tokarski (Scout Cain).
Back in 2025, General Hospital head writers, Chris Van Etten and Elizabeth Korte said of their plans for Charlotte and recasting Scarlett Fernandez in the part, “Charlotte returns to the canvas and assumes a pivotal role. She’s very useful to anyone who wants something from Valentin – and she knows it. She isn’t afraid to exploit her relationship with her father to get what she wants. She’ll draw closer to Danny and Rocco as we develop General Hospital’s next generation.”
Currently, Charlotte is about to be in a whole lotta trouble, after she was the person who discovered it was Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) who was floating in the pool at the Metro Court. Both she and Danny ran from the scene of the crime. Later, Charlotte realized her bracelet was gone which ended up on Brennan’s wrist before Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Ava (Maura West) buried the body.
Something tells us the body will be found and Charlotte may be looked upon as a prime suspect in a murder case, even though she didn’t do it!
Share your congrats to Bluesy Burke for her one-year milestone as General Hospital’s Charlotte Cassadine via the comment section below, and if you think Charlotte will land in hot water.
