In an update on the aftermath of Max Ehrich (ex-Fenmore Baldwin, Y&R) being arrested for domestic violence against his mother and being released, the Emmy-nominated actor/singer/songwriter is now entering a rehab program.

As details emerged, his own mother, Rhonda Ehrich revealed the Max has become addicted to nitrous oxide, which caused him to act out a following his disturbing Instagram live earlier in the week. Max and his father Bruch Ehrich, are pointing to Max being kidnapped by gang members who forced him to take nitrous oxide for the beginning of his troubles.

In a post on Friday, Max shared, “On my way to rehab…. I am so sorry you all had to watch me fall from grace. All thoughts and prayers are appreciated.”  He added, “I want to take this moment to share that be careful with posting your locations on social media and in general talking to strangers. Being kidnapped was the most traumatizing experience and I am so thankful to be alive. What they got me hooked on is something that is sold at local stores and should be banned along with anything else toxic.”

Next, in a subsequent post, Max expressed, “Thank you to everyone who encouraged me to get the help I needed after my traumatic event. Anyone else struggling please know it is brave to seek help.”

Max’s father wrote, “Recently Max stated that he has a run in with gang members and was held against his will. I believe this is where his addiction to nitrous oxide began. We are happy that he is alive and is in process of going to rehab to address the addictive properties of nitrous oxide.”

Meanwhile Max’s mom, is taking issue with how the media had portrayed her son and the altercation that ensued. Rhonda expressed, “The media and the narrative of my son attacking me is completely fabricated. A short video clip of an altercation that is being exaggerated for click bait does not discern the truth of what did and didn’t happen. The only villain in this is the fact that my son was kidnapped and forced to ingest a dangerous substance. My son is my best friend and one of the best people I know. My son lives a clean, healthy and sober lifestyle. All my son has ever wanted was a platform to share love and goodness to the world. These public exaggerations are harmful to my family. Falsely stating such is also defamation. I am pursuing all legal avenues to clear my son’s name and to move beyond this instance where forced substance abuse created these conflicts.”

She added, “In a short amount of time I watched substance abuse take over his entire daily life because he was kidnapped and forced to do drugs with a group of bad characters and I struggled as any mother would with the demand to keep him safe as a grown man and protect him. He now is in rehab and he is getting the treatment he needs. A mother knows who their son is and isn’t. Those who know the real Max Ehrich know him for the kind, respectful, loving and talented young man that I’m proud to say is my incredible inspirational, brilliant, clean living amazing son. Max is devastated and extremely apologetic that the world had to watch him fall from grace. At this time we as a family are asking for our privacy and healing prayers.”

Ehrich appeared on The Young and the Restless from 2012 to 2015. He recently joined the cast of the Emmy-award winning digital drama, The Bay for its upcoming season playing Wesley McKinnon, the 0n-screen brother to Mike Manning’s Caleb McKinnon.

So, what do you think on the latest on Max Ehrich an how he has entered rehab, and how gang members kidnapped and got him hooked on nitrous oxide? Share your thoughts via the comment section below.

On the Friday, May 8 Mother’s Day episode of The Price is Right, a retired veteran won over $240,000 in cash and prizes making her takeaway the largest prize ever won in a single pricing game in the 54-year history of the daytime version of the CBS game show.

The contestant, “Vanesa from Virginia” bested the previous record of $210,000 in a single pricing game of Cliffhangers set over a decade ago in 2016. The moment occurred when Vanesa played “The Lion’s Share,” the new high,” the new high-stakes branded game that debuted this season through a partnership with BetMGM.

In the game, contestants have to guess the prices of grocery items to earn up to five balls. Each ball is then dropped into a wind tunnel, revealing a hidden prize amount. After each reveal, contestants face a tense decision to walk away with their current winnings or risk it all to continue.
