Viewers of The Young and the Restless won’t have to wait much longer for the action to pick back up after the Thanksgiving holiday break, to find out just what Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) and Claire’s (Hayley Erin) vendetta against the Newmans is all about.

As has been previewed for this week’s episodes of Y&R, the Newmans arrive in Oregon to Aunt Jordan’s house, as she informs them, they are each about to suffer a heart attack, thanks to the poison they drank in their water bottles – that would be Victor (Eric Braeden), Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle).

Meanwhile last week, viewers saw Cole (the returning J. Eddie Peck) entering the house calling out the names of Victoria and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). Now. in the latest harrowing preview for the series via Y&R’s social media accounts, Aunt Jordan tells Victor it will be her pleasure to watch him die, when he asks, ‘Where is my wife?”

Then, in a scene, Jordan is going up the stairs, while Nick tries to catch-up with her. However, he is sliced in the stomach by a knife. Upstairs, poor Nikki is still trapped in the bedroom having been hooked up to an IV filled with booze, and then drinking the bottle that was left behind in Jordan and Claire’s efforts to have her fall off the wagon … which she has.

According to the official teasers for the story for the week of November 27th, look for the following key moments to go down.

Monday, November 27
Victor demands answers on Nikki’s whereabouts, while Nikki receives a painful reminder about her past, and Jordan and Claire reveal their motives.

Tuesday November 28
Victor leads the Newmans into battle as Nikki fights for her life against Jordan.

Wednesday, November 29
Victor defends Nikki at all costs, while Jordan and Claire stand their ground.

Now, check out the harrowing teasers for the action on The Young and the Restless below.

So, who do you think Aunt Jordan and Claire will turn out to be? Is Aunt Jordan actually “Eve Howard” who had previously died? Is she her sister? Is Claire, Victoria and Cole’s daughter, who also never really died? Share your theories via the comment section below.

They are connected to Eve Howard somehow.

I said this the first time Claire came into play—there was a very weird aura about her.—too much subterfuge and out-if-the -blue coincidence.Too good to be true—I instinctively knew she was baby Eve. But, now after today’s episode, it could all have been fabricated by Jordan for her own personal reasons—other than the fact that she’s a colossal crazy maniac.

This is happening too fast for me to care emotionally. Again, no buildup with suspense. Just a sudden story development out of the blue. I do miss a slow burn.

Soaps don’t have the budget for slow burn today. So why are you watching? I have enjoyed putting Nikki into peril and fabulous CZ back in front of my TV screen. People keep piling on YR but they are still watching I wouldn’t be if I didn’t like it. Turn the dial.

They don’t have the budget to slowburn?!
Lolll
You must not be watching Y n R under Griffith. Not only is it slow burn its burning like a dumpster fire. Sally and Adam have slow burned for years now. Victor and his manipulation of his children in which nothing makes sense has taken up months of repitive conversation in which we could be seen more of Claire and her plotting against the Newman’s. Let’s not mention Tucker and who knows what he’s up to now

I agree with you absolutely about Colleen Zenk’s return; seeing her on my screen again is almost enough to salvage this. But if what you say is true, and they don’t have time/budget for the buildup anymore, then I would argue that they shouldn’t do this type of story. I’m supposed to care; I don’t, other than finding Aunt Jordan entertaining–and I think I might have, if the whole thing didn’t seem to have come out of nowhere. (Admittedly, that’s a problem with a lot of soap storytelling these days, so you might be on to something. . . .)

But serious props to whoever it was that decided to hire CZ—that was brilliant, and it shows somebody involved with the show still has two brain cells to rub together. (Given the incredible mismanagement of Y&R over the last 10-15 years, I’ve had cause to wonder.)

It’s even faster than Cameron coming back to town. Btw…looks like Sharon’s back to wiping counters at Crimson. Her and Nick have made no development. Ditto her and Chance. Looks like that story had no long lasting impact. I imagine this Jordan stuff will be more of the same.

My gosh Peck looks great 65 ! Wow

Is this a storyline held over from Halloween? If Hayley Erin is on contract, it would ne interesting to see how they resolve this. This males Adam look like a Saint and wouldn’t it be a hoot if he rescues them!

Oh Lew, I am hoping for Adam to be the savior also. Victoria and Nick/Nikki will blame him for the Jordan/Claire fiasco anyway. Of course, as Adam himself says.. he could cure cancer and STILL have to meet their lofty standards.

There is only one heroine here: NIKKI.
Brava, Melody!!

This is Eve Howard herself, but that means Cole Howard is Eve son and then Victoria was married to her brother and had a child together, Wow that is to much

You are really loosing me somewhere. Yes, Victoria was married to Eve’s son Cole. He was not Victor’s son, Eve admitted that. But Victoria was not his only conquest, besides Nicki, there were many other women he had, funny I don’t remember him being that great!

Cole is not Victor’s don. That has been
established. I’m not sure I follow you..

This was too easy to figure CB out. As I said to Violet, Jordan kidnapped baby Eve to get even with the Newmans. But, I think Claire will help them in the end.

I don’t know what CB is—autocorrect is wacko.

Hope Adams figures something out and helps Eve save the day—SuperAdam !!

Chances are Cole and Victoria will reunite romantically??

Now it’s Nate to the rescue?

Oh please no! Can’t stand this self- serving excuse for a man, who was supposed to have integrity as well as intelligence. I’m sure Devon and Lily as well as Aunt Mamie will find out if they take him back. I also wonder how long it will take for he and slutty Audra to wind up in bed. I heard she’s pregnant, will be so interesting to see which fool she picks to be the baby daddy.

I agree. —do not like Nate—I was being stupidly sarcastic. LOL. Is the character really needed? He and Mamie should exit together on the next train to nowhere. I said Eve, then Adam,—-I think everyone’s a hero/heroine.
I think Melody outdid herself these last few days!! An award-winning performance!!

Y&R Preview: Matt Clark Asks Phyllis on a Date, Would You Be Down for the Pairing? Roger Howarth & Michelle Previously in GH’s Franco/Nina Romance

Published

The Young and the Restless seems to be toying with a potential romance between amnesiac Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).  Now, on all-new episodes of the top-rated soap opera, the official Y&R Preview for the week of June 22-26, shows a moment where Matt attempts to ask Phyllis out on a date!

The two are sitting at the GCAC having drinks. Suddenly, Matt says. “Once upon a time, there was a man who had no memory. And he met a woman. And then he asks her out on a date.” Phyllis looks at first confused, but then inquisitive? Would Phyllis even dare go out with Matt given what he has done to the former love of her life and father to her daughter, Summer, the one and only Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow)?

If Y&R head writer, Josh Griffith does plan to go there, does Phyllis somehow fall in love with this guy, because she did see him come to the rescue of Nick when he OD’d? But, would Phyllis date Sharon’s (Sharon Case) rapist?

GENERAL HOSPITAL’S FRANCO AND NINA

This isn’t the first time that Daytime Emmy winners, Roger Howarth and Michelle Stafford have appeared on a soap as a romantic pairing? Look no further than then January of 2016  when both appeared on ABC’s General Hospital, when after months of dancing around their sexual tension, Franco Baldwin and Nina Reeves had sex.  The two characters had quite the unstable past which drew them together.

After the sex scene aired on GH, and the series moved the relationship between the duo (known on social media as #nico) forward, Michelle Stafford spoke to Michael Fairman TV where she shared on working with Howarth.

At that time, Stafford expressed, “What woman doesn’t want to see Roger Howarth on-screen?  He’s super sexy, and that is just that! (Laughs) With Roger, I am going to get a really great actor to work with, who likes to play, and really can act. I appreciate that about him. I am just really interested to see what the writers are ultimately going to do with these two characters.”

When addressing, why it took so long for Franco and Nina to hit the sheets, Stafford acknowledged, “You have to address it, because the audience is going to go, ‘Why are these two hot characters not ‘doing’ it’ These are two adults. It doesn’t make sense.  They are so in love, and they are not consummating anything.  So, when they made Nina so insecure about it, and being able to communicate to Franco how she felt, I thought, ‘OK, this works.’  She was scared, and that’s true. We are all scared when we sleep with someone we love for the first time.  There is not one person who does not feel that way.  I loved that about her.  The woman in the audience really responded to that. They loved that there was a character who was afraid to hop in bed.  It was refreshing to them, and that was the consensus.”

Y&R’s MATT AND PHYLLIS STAND A GHOST OF A CHANCE AT ROMANCE?

Take a look at the Y&R video preview for next week below.

Then weigh-in; do you want Matt and Phyllis to date and begin some semblance of a romantic relationship? Did you enjoy Roger Howarth and Michelle Stafford when they were paired as Franco and Nina on General Hospital? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section.

Published

This week on General Hospital, who’s a fool, who’s a savior and who will avoid capture? That’s the questions that the latest video promo from the ABC daytime drama series offers up for episodes airing June 15-19.

First, after being taken to the PCPD, Tracy is fuming mad that Chase (Josh Swickard) once again believes in his ex-wife Willow’s (Katelyn MacMullen) word. This time, Willow claimed she was pushed into the water at the Quartermaine boathouse by Tracy (Jane Elliot). Now, racy tells Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Justine (Nazneen Contractor), “Willow Cain threw herself into the lake and this fool fell for it.” We already know, Justine has been side-eyeing Chase of how he repeatedly has taken the law into his own hands concerning his ex-wife. Will Chase EVER get a grip and realize Willow is a manipulative woman capable of heinous crimes?

Next, Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) comes loaded for bear to Carly’s (Laura Wright) along with two men from the WSB. He tells her that.“We have reason to believe that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is on the premises.” Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) is also there at the time and the two could not look more nervous or suspicious if they tried. Is Valentin already searching Wyndemere for Josslyn (Eden McCoy) at the time of Cullum’s unexpected arrival at Carly’s, or is he still hiding in her attic? Stay tuned.
