THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS: Matt Clark Reveals Himself, ‘Clearly, Hero Time Is Over’

By Michael Fairman

The Young and the Restless viewers prepare yourselves for what’s to come starting tomorrow on the Tuesday, October 13 episode of the CBS soap opera, now that it’s quite clear, that the former nefarious rapist Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) is back in action and headed straight to Sharon’s (Sharon Case) house.

On the Monday, October 12 episode, viewers learned that as Matt has battled with his inner demons, it’s clear that revenge-filled Matt has taken over his brain and reemerged or so we think.

In the seedy motel room, after the car crash with Patty (Stacy Haiduk) who is MIA, Matt is banged up in the head. He calls Sharon, but says nothing to her. After he hangs up, he paces around the room wondering why he is still there and tries to figure out what he wants.

HERO WORSHIP

He then has a flash back to his encounter with Sharon outside of Crimson Lights, and he makes a declaration that Sharon truly believes in giving people second chances.

However, in a later scene, Matt is on rant that he is not putting a halo Sharon just yet, because he knows she would dance on his coffin with plate of oatmeal raisin cookies. He proclaims that he doesn’t give a damn what anyone thinks about him anymore, because playing the hero didn’t work for him, and now hero time is over as he looks at himself in the mirror.

As we previously reported in the official Y&R spoilers for this week, Matt winds up making his way inside Sharon’s house, where he falls asleep and then is confronted by Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon.  What will his disposition be?

THE END OF MATT CLARK OR ANOTHER NEW BEGINNING?

At this point, what do you hope happens with Matt Clark? Do you want this to be the end of the character’s reign of terror?

Do you think with this the final weeks of material from Josh Griffith and new material starting November 11 from new Y&R co-head writers, Jamey Giddens and Dan O’Connor, that the soap scribes would have found a way to keep Matt around that makes sense in story?

Let us know via the comment section, and check out the scenes below where Matt definitely has a change of heart … and mind!

Parry Shen and Lydia Look

In a surprise appearance on the Monday, October 12 episode of General Hospital, Parry Shen and Lydia Look returned to the canvas as Brad Cooper and Selina Wu, as the Wu crime family was bidding for the Port Charles piers up for auction!

Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Ric (Rick Hearst) are completely floored when Selina strolled into the Metro Court conference room with her nephew and former GH lab tech, Brad Cooper, by her side.

This is the first time GH viewers have seen the character of Selina Wu since back in July of 2025. Previously, Sidwell (Carlo Rota) framed Selena for the firebombing of Charlie’s pun that put Sonny’s daughter Kristina (Kate Mansi) in grave danger. GH fans recall it was the late Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) who saved Kristina from the fire. In story to avoid Sonny’s wrath, Selina fled the country.

SURPRISE NEW PIER OWNER IS REVEALED

When Selina entered the conference room on today’s GH, she told Sonny the entire Sidwell debacle was “water under the bridge,” and he agreed. “I have no issue with you,” Sonny said in return.

In order to secure her bid for the piers, Selina explained Brad stepped in to make the necessary arrangements while she was trying to get herself get back to the United States. Sonny tells Brad, “You’re not going to get those piers!”

When it’s time for Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) to reveal the winning bid for the piers, seated in the room are potential buyers: Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), and JJE executive, Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel).

Suddenly, Ezra reveals that JJE secured the piers and the winning bid as Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) made a surprise entrance as the new pier owner. How did Josslyn do it? Watch the clip below where prior to the final bids being announced, the WSB agent rigged the computer system!

So, glad to see Brad Cooper and Selina Wu back in action? Do you hope they stay for a bit? What do you think of Josslyn getting the piers? Is this how she sets out to destroy Sonny? Share your thoughts via the comment section below.

‘The Bold and the Beautiful’s’ Delon de Metz Delivers the ‘Power Performance of the Week’

Published

on

By

Delon de Metz

Sometimes all it takes is one scene you can sink your teeth into that is well-written and laced with the deep history of a character seldom spoken of, that comes forth in a dramatic, compelling way and that’s exactly what happened on Friday, October 9 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful.

In it, Delon de Metz (Zende Forrester) stepped up to the plate and hit a home run with heart-wrenching scene opposite Daytime Emmy winners, John McCook (Eric Forrester) and Thorsten Kaye (Ridge Forrester).

Throughout the week, de Metz carried the bulk of the story in which he was featured as Katie (Heather Tom), Hope (Annika Noelle) along with Dylan (Sydney Bullock) tried to convince Zende to jump ship to the waring fashion house Logan, and leave the family company behind where he has been back-burnered and wasted as a designer. Delon played the inner battle of the initial betrayal of Hope defecting to Logan and leaving him behind, but soon realizing his own family doesn’t seem to care enough to give him something to do worthy of his talents.

In the gripping scene on the October 9 episode, Zende was put on the spot by Eric and Ridge. Was he going to their enemy Logan or staying put at Forrester Creations? And that, brought up all the pain Zende has endured since being a very young boy, and how his biological mother and brother all passed away from AIDS.  This also reminded viewers of the backstory of a young Zende who first appeared on the soap in 2001.

HOW KRISTEN AND TONY ADOPTED ZENDE

Early in the 2000s, The Bold and the Beautiful was telling the story of Kristen Forrester (Tracy Melchior) and her husband Tony Dominquez (Paolo Benedetti) who recently had learned he was HIV+.

While on their honeymoon, they met a young boy from an orphanage and learned that both his parents had died of AIDS. After that, they could not stop thinking of the little boy. After heading back to Los Angeles, they later returned to Africa and started adopted proceedings and Zende became their son.

Fast-forward to 2026, and now the grown-up Zende unloads the pain, heartbreak, frustration of years of pent up emotion and back-story in this scene; set agains the backdrop of staying true to the family that adopted him, or righting a wrong that is happening in his career. Delon’s full dialog of what Zende said when confronted by Eric and Ridge is below in full.

ZENDE’S EMOTIONAL SPEECH

“My life changed because your sister, your daughter, visited my orphanage. She could have honeymooned anywhere in the world. She could have just done the tourist thing. She could have gone on safari and hung out by the pool, but no. She met me. She saved me,” explained Zende.

“We don’t talk about it, but I still remember them. My birth parents, my little brother, their body’s wasting away. I can still see it. AIDS took so many wonderful lives and thank God we could treat it now, but back then, don’t. Don’t you ever insinuate that I don’t know how lucky I am. I was so proud to be adopted, so proud to be a Forrester. I grew up in these halls. This company, this family, they’re a part of me. I should be higher up on the ladder.”

At this point, Eric interrupts Zende, saying “You’re young. You’re a Forrester, you have plenty of time.”  Zende pushed back on that notion asserting, “I’ve been hearing that for too many years now. ‘It takes years’. It didn’t take R.J.(Brayan Nicoletti) years. He wanted Electra (Laneya Grace). So, you gave them a line so he could be with her, so he could work with her. Do you know how much that hurt me? Do you know how disrespected and forgotten I felt?”

Even through that, Zende lets Eric and Ridge know how much he loves, but he needs to leave the company saying, “I love you guys so much. You know, being adopted in this family was the luckiest day of my life. Coming to Los Angeles, learning design, an art, a trade from the master. You gave me opportunities that I could have never imagined. But, more importantly, you gave me family and you gave me love. I’ve never taken that for granted. Never not for one second.”

He added, “I don’t want you to think of me in a bad light. But, you put me on ‘Hope for the Future’ and that’s where I found myself as a designer. That’s where I found my passion, my life. Now, I have the chance to go back to it and do it somewhere else.”

As the scene comes to an end, Zende reveals his decision to Eric and Ridge, “Despite my extreme gratitude, despite your sister being my mom (said to Ridge), I still feel like an outsider, and maybe it’s not right of me, but I do. I don’t want to have any ill will here. I don’t want this to come off as some kind of betrayal or a defection, but I put a lot of thought into this. I mean, this is one of the most important decisions of my life. I’m given my notice. I’m going to work with hope at Logan. They need me and they want me.”

Suddenly, Eric puts on the guilt and asks Zende to please not leave the family and reconsider this move carefully. We are left with the cliffhanger for this week, if Zende will defect to Logan and stand his ground, or fall back in line with the Forresters.

Delon de Metz was able to put a spotlight on Zende’s painful beginnings as a child, and his journey to becoming a member of the Forrester family and never feeling enough. It was also touching to see B&B finally remember their AIDS storyline, which sadly took the lives of many African children and others around the world during the AIDS pandemic.

For all the reasons stated above Delon de Metz is Michael Fairman TV’s pick for the Power Performance of the Week.  In case you missed it, you can watch the moments below.

Now let us know, what did you think of Zende bringing up his past, and his love for his family and deciding to go to work at Logan? Do you think he will stay at Forrester after Eric tries to reason with him, or make his exit? What did you think of the performance of Delon de Metz? Let us know via the comment section.

WWE’s ‘Money in the Bank’ 2026 Review: The Highs, The Lows and the Head-Scratchers

Money in the Bank 2026

Money in the Bank is always one of the most highly anticipated PLE’s of the year in the WWE, and for the WWE Universe. The winners of the Men’s and Women’s ladder matches get to carry around the coveted briefcase, which they can cash in at anytime in the next year and on any current champion. But, did the WWE creatives get it right in 2026? We half think so!

In addition, 3 other major matches were on the card emanating from New Orleans on Sunday night, October 1o, including two championship bouts where in one case the title changed hands, but again, to the right winner?

Let’s give you a breakdown of the action in a card that featured highs, lows, botched spots, but plenty of talent on display!

LA Knight, Roman Reigns

Photo: WWE

Roman Reigns defended his WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the opener against LA Knight

This was overall one of the strongest matches of the night. Reigns and Knight delivered near pins and counters that had fans believing for a millisecond that the OTC might actually lose to Knight, who if he didn’t win, would have his main-eventer status in question, and if he would ever get a championship opportunity again.

In the end, Reigns got a clean pin finish, and Knight was left reeling off the ring apron as the audience acknowledged their OTC one more time. Suddenly, at the top of the arena entrance, the 946 emerged and right behind them the Bloodline. The trios then got into a brawl inside the concession stand area of the arena, which eventually took them outside where Jaida Parker, picked up the men in their vehicle and drove away.

We were hoping that somehow, LA Knight would have been revealed in a quick switch to be with the 946. But that has to be coming to save the career of Knight, who has nowhere to go right now as a babyface, right? Kudos though to Roman Reigns who remains the greatest current attraction on the WWE active roster.

Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match

While this could have gone numerous ways with Tiffany Stratton and Roxanne Perez, as the kind of veterans of the group, this was rough match which early on had a spot where Stratton almost knocked herself out when she did a dive from a ladder to the outside of the ring, crashing into her opponents, but landing oddly on her head.

The MVP of this match turned out to be Sol Ruca, who landed some exciting moves off the ladder, with the ladder, and off the ring post to the outside. However, there was also another odd spot that had Lola Vice and Jacy Jayne taking a bad-looking spill on ladder that landed them awkwardly on the outside of the ring.

While the red-hot crowd was definitely behind Roxanne Perez, in the end the powers-that-be knighted Tiffany Stratton to grab the briefcase and become a two-time MITB winner having won back in 2024. On her way to victory, Stratton was facing off with Lash Legend, who actually seemed not high enough to get clunked in the head with the briefcase. In the end, Stratton came out victorious.

Oba Femi vs. Bronson Reed

The cliffhanger coming into this match seemed to be from the opening shot of Paul Heyman watching Oba Femi and Bronson Reed on a monitor. Would Heyman align himself with Femi, or continue to do for Reed and the Vision? Well, we won’t know till perhaps tomorrow’s Monday Night Raw, because they never included Heyman in another section of the match or its aftermath.

That being said, Reed gave one of his best performances of his career, really working and selling the moves, and the beatdowns from Femi. It’s clear that WWE is banking on Femi as their next superhero, superstar, so when the Vision came to ringside to interfere, even after getting hit twice with brass knucks courtesy of Austin Theory passing them on to Reed, it did not matter.

The WWE is showing us nothing you do to Femi can keep him down. He’s an invincible force. At the end of the match, Femi got the pin on Reed. In the WWE Post Show, Oba appeared, and in his drop-the-mic moment says he is waiting for Roman Reigns who can’t keep running from him. Many are predicting that match won’t happen until WrestleMania 2027. Stay tuned.

Liv Morgan

Women’s World Heavyweight Championship Triple-Threat: Stephanie Vaquer defends against Liv Morgan and Becky Lynch

The audience for this match was very cooled-down as opposed to all the others on the card thus far. Vaquer asked for this triple threat after having it up to here with both Lynch and Morgan. Vaquer won the title in her home country of Chile from Morgan with Lynch as the special referee.

At the end of the day, Vaquer knocked Becky Lynch off the apron through a table on the floor (which did not break!), and Morgan immediately capitalized by hitting her patented Oblivion inisher on La Primera to secure the pin and the win.

The WWE universe has been questioning this move. If you were going to have Morgan win back the WWE World’s Women’s title, why wouldn’t they have had Roxanne Perez win the Women’s Money in the Bank to cause dissension among the ranks and a storyline within the Judgment Day where Perez could cash-in on her stablemate? Is this the missed opportunity? Stand by.

MEN’S MONEY IN THE BANK LADDER MATCH

Going into this match, it had all the intrigue. Would the creatives give the Money in the Bank briefcase to Bron Breakker, the bad ass. to have him go on an uber-threatening run in the WWE with all the power the briefcase holds to win a championship? Would they go with Penta, who showed just how beloved and remarkable he is as a performer after his championship match against Roman Reigns in Mexico City? Would they chose to make CM Punk, the first ever three-time Money in the Bank winner in history?

All of that was at play, plus Trick Williams, Kevin Owens and Je’Von Evans as well. When the smoke cleared, it was Bron Breakker who showed why he was the MVP of the match with spear after spear and takedowns. If he does not break away from The Vision after this, I don’t know what was the point, because in the end he did not get the job done and win the briefcase.

Trick Williams seemed to be the crowd favorite throughout and together with Lil Yachty gave us some fun and entertaining moments. KO and Punk, just kept beating each other up. And this leaves the Je’Von Evans story point.

Je'Von Evans

Photo: WWE

Breakker spears Evans outside the ring. Evans “appears” to be hurt. They take him out on stretcher and load him into an ambulance. We go to the back (first sign we are in kayfabe) and RAW GM Adam Pearce is there making sure they get Evans to a hospital fast.

However, that was not the last we saw of Evans. Suddenly an ambulance makes it way all the way back to ringside, and Je’Von jumps out of it and goes after Breakker. Then alone in the ring, he seems to have trouble with three ladders. We are not sure if one was broken, but he gets an incredibly tall ladder all set up to climb it to retrieve the briefcase.

However, Breakker is back in the ring and pushed Evans off of the ladder and Je’Von goes flying into the middle section of the ambulance which crumbles. WWE playback kept repeating the move, which didn’t help this spot go over one bit.

In the end, it was Penta who was able to climb the ladder and win the briefcase, leaving the audience at home, the fans in attendance, and the WWE Universe leaving the Money in the Bank PLE on a big up note! Penta was the feel-good choice and they gave it to us.

You can check out the full highlights from Money in the Bank below, followed by the Michael Fairman Channel’s “What’s Up? Wrestling” MITB Post Show.

So, what did you think of the 2026 Money in the Bank? Happy for Penta and Tiffany Stratton? Would you have preferred others to win the briefcase? What do you think will happen next for LA Knight now that he lost to Roman Reigns? What did you think of Liv Morgan winning back the Women’s World title? Let us know via the the comment section.
