In a surprise appearance on the Monday, October 12 episode of General Hospital, Parry Shen and Lydia Look returned to the canvas as Brad Cooper and Selina Wu, as the Wu crime family was bidding for the Port Charles piers up for auction!

Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Ric (Rick Hearst) are completely floored when Selina strolled into the Metro Court conference room with her nephew and former GH lab tech, Brad Cooper, by her side.

This is the first time GH viewers have seen the character of Selina Wu since back in July of 2025. Previously, Sidwell (Carlo Rota) framed Selena for the firebombing of Charlie’s pun that put Sonny’s daughter Kristina (Kate Mansi) in grave danger. GH fans recall it was the late Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) who saved Kristina from the fire. In story to avoid Sonny’s wrath, Selina fled the country.

SURPRISE NEW PIER OWNER IS REVEALED

When Selina entered the conference room on today’s GH, she told Sonny the entire Sidwell debacle was “water under the bridge,” and he agreed. “I have no issue with you,” Sonny said in return.

In order to secure her bid for the piers, Selina explained Brad stepped in to make the necessary arrangements while she was trying to get herself get back to the United States. Sonny tells Brad, “You’re not going to get those piers!”

When it’s time for Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) to reveal the winning bid for the piers, seated in the room are potential buyers: Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), and JJE executive, Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel).

Suddenly, Ezra reveals that JJE secured the piers and the winning bid as Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) made a surprise entrance as the new pier owner. How did Josslyn do it? Watch the clip below where prior to the final bids being announced, the WSB agent rigged the computer system!

So, glad to see Brad Cooper and Selina Wu back in action? Do you hope they stay for a bit? What do you think of Josslyn getting the piers? Is this how she sets out to destroy Sonny? Share your thoughts via the comment section below.

I love Selina Wu. A formidable opponent (or ally) played by a great actress. A nice change from that throat-screaming idiot Drew, sad sap Chase and the unfortunate stalker story. Very happy to see Selina Wu and trouble-maker Brad. The only scenes I didn’t FF today.

I Love Selina Wu and Brad

At least Drew did not get… and almost before she is about to take Sonny down, I think either her mom or maybe even Jason keep her from actually destroying him & if that really her cousin she’ll probably be so mad, her priorities might change

Joss committed crimes to get the winning bid!!! It should not have been her!! She knows NOTHING! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! AND hopefully she put a great big target on her back now! Selena Wu knows Sonny left the mob so she doesn’t consider him any threat if she goes after Joss!!! I’d love to see Wu put the fear of GOD into Joss!! Maybe she will piss her pants!!!! Wu don’t play!

Love the “We don’t play”! I think alot will backfire on little Joss. And that includes her alliance with Hudson. He’s not her right-hand man, he’ll stab her in the back. We’ve seen him on the phone with some unknown party about getting her where they want her there. We saw him beat Ethan very violently and horrible. He’s just bad news. Hope she’ll remember some moves from her online Agent Barbie classes so she can defend herself come the time.

I wish Brad would stay in PC. He and Britt are so much fun together and the actors bring out sides of their characters that we usually don’t see.

Love Ms. Wu. I hope she sticks around for her wardrobe alone. I guess we’re building up Joss for the future of the show, but too much confidence will kill her character and trust with the fans. Is everyone back from vacations? Can we concentrate on the writing, please and move stories along!

Madam Wu and Brad are 2 favorites that are always welcome on my screen…
I wish the show did more with them.

I don’t like what Joslyn did at all!!! I hate who she is now!

Joslyn, like Lulu’s daughter, need to leave GH. She thinks she’s the next Bond girl.

Lulu needs to go too!!!

Lulu most definitely DOES NOT need to go. I love that she is revealing the truth about Willow. Lulu is a great character played by a talented actress. All I know is when she is on screen, I’m watching.

Totally agree with jjj. Time for something new. Drew, Chase and Willow have done me in with this soap. Also Joss, her storyline is ridiculous.

Curtis and his family is getting to me too, it’s always the same scenario jumping to conclusions like their so innocent. Writers are forgetting what they wrote about to keep doing the same is lame. Its literally killing my interest after being a loyal fan for over 40 years.

Glad to see these two back. Hope Brad and Britt reconnect, really liked their relationship.

I am so discussed with Josslyn. Why at this point is she making such an issue. She kills! I really wanted Sonny to get the piers. So glad Drew didn’t. I can’t wait till he gets his. He’s such a bastard.

I am so glad to see Lydia Look and Parry Shen back at General Hospital. Once Sonny said he was leaving the mob, I hoped Ms Wu would be back. This is going to get good.

I so love Selina! I’ve wanted to see her back ever since she left. Selina has class and clearly brings her own style every time she walks in a room. Sure hope this is long-term. Brad, I can take or leave, but we’d be better off watching him rather than angry people like Drew and Ava running around. And the PCPD failures, which stars Dante and Chase.

I think the stalker is Spencer!!!
Sick of Willow, Drew and that craziness.
Tired of Chase.
Quit the nonsense with taking down Sonny.
Get Brooklyn and Phobe’s Dad, Hudson together.
Enough of Jordan’s crazy Sister.
Go back to basics. Too much going on.

True to much of little stupidity going on, all I’m seeing is a bunch of angry cast all carrying torch. Not saying the steaming scenes were any better. But in today’s world there’s so much going on learn to incorporate it and pay attention to what’s hot and not what’s not. Story is starting to bore me.

Loved seeing Mrs. Wu back on the show. She has such style and class – no other mobster makes an entrance to a room like her. It’s a bummer she was just on the show for one day. No one’s leading a mob in PC now that Sonny quit?? Makes no sense. Perfect time for a Selina storyline – a long-term one, please!

Jeff Kober

Last night at the 53rd annual Daytime Emmy Awards, Jeff Kober’s name was called as the winner of the Outstanding Guest Performer in a Daytime Drama Series for his role as murderer and all around misunderstood bad guy, Cyrus Renault on General Hospital.

Kober added a second Daytime Emmy to his collection for playing Laura Collins’ Genie Francis) half-brother. He previously won in the Best Supporting Actor category in 2022. He was also nominated the year prior.

Due to appearing in a “theater gig,” the actor revealed in a videotaped acceptance speech why he couldn’t be at the Hollywood Palladium on October 30 for the livestreamed ceremony.

In his acceptance speech, Kober shared, “I want to say thank you to all of the actors who made this happen, and thank you especially to GH and my GH family. What a treat it has been to be with them. Sorry I wasn’t there last night. I had a prior commitment with a theater gig.”

He added, “I’m really sorry I didn’t get to see Genie (Francis) and the recognition by the Emmys she so richly deserves. Love you guys. Oh, also, congratulations to my pal, Roger Howarth (Matt, Y&R, and ex-Franco, GH). Maybe now GH will bring our characters back from the dead. Who knows? I see a storyline. Love to all. Thanks.”‘

Roger Howarth

Last night, Genie Francis received the Lifetime Achievement Award by the National Academy of Television of Arts and Sciences for her body of work since she joined GH initially in 1977 as a young teenaged Laura Vining.

Meanwhile, Howarth made history for the longest gap between Emmy wins for actors. It had been 32 years since he won Outstanding Younger Actor for his performance as Todd Manning in One Life to Live back in 1994.

You can check out Jeff Kober’s video acceptance speech below. Then let us know, what you think about the idea of Cyrus Renault returning from the dead, via the comment section.
