ANYTHING the devious Michael Muhney was involved in!

Oh,yeah, my T….agreed!! Love MM.
I have so many favorite moments, times, scenes…..but, as a little girl ( twelve, maybe?) with dreams in her heart; my favorite was that special moment when Nick said to Sharon:
“Every time you walk into a room, my heart does somersaults.
Every time you laugh, I get so much joy from that. And the way your eyes sparkle…..
…..joy and sparkle. What else could a man ask for? You are so beautiful. No man will ever love any woman, the way I love you.”….
Yeah, I know….it has, sort of, gone awry…but, if truth be told, I don’t think Nick ever loved anyone else as he STILL loves Sharon…..they are the love of each other’s lives. I know this sticks to su0000’s craw, LOL ( love you anyway, SuzieQ)…..shhhh, don’t tell anyone, Timmmy….but su does not like Sharon….did you know that????
Anyway….I wrote that quote down and put it in my little box of dreams, as I called it—I still have it…..seriously!!
I forced my husband to say those words when we exchanged vows…. just kidding, T. HaHa. ( only this last part).

Hi Celia, I LOVE Nick and Sharon together, they have been one of my favorite couples on the show and IMO they belong together…

I agree with you about Sharon and Nick. They will always end up together and belong together. No matter what obstacles stand in each others way, they will prevail. There are tons of books on relationship advice. Save your money! Here is the secret. If you want to be in a successful relationship you only have to do one thing or I should say be one thing, your spouses best friend. Thats it. Best friends will laugh together, cry together and always be truthful with each other.

Of course, my T…..although Sharon and Nick have parted ways sooo many times before, they remained best friends—-the friendship never died, and they always find their way back , unfailingly.
I am glad they are on that road again.
However, I hope they don’t end up like Nikki and Victor, where he sleeps with prison doctors on his death-bed, and Nikki with construction-work-babies. Ha!!
My husband is my best friend, as I am his…..there’s nothing we don’t share. I was six when I first laid eyes on him and he ten…. he hardly paid attention to me, except to tease me… he used to call me a pest.
……Aaannd, I was sixteen when we started dating ( with my father’s permission, LOL)…..
I must admit it’s rare…..ergo, I cross my fingers. Trust is the key, with a sense of humor.
Oh, how I wish Y&R would have a long-term, long-lasting couple with a healthy relationship….someone very young, such as Maddie with Reed ( if they start seeing each other again)…..or Faith could be sorased and paired with a newcomer. But, it wouldn’t be a soap if couples stayed together forevermore.

The Brook sisters were my favorites along with Nina Arvensan as Cassandra Rawlins, I wish they would of put clips of them in video, I also loved Lance and Lucas Prentiss..I just wish the show was the way it use to be with directing, production, writing and the beautiful classic background music, OH, DID I SAY THAT?

Oh, yes, Kevin C….All these other men/women come and go; but Sharon and Nick always gravitate towards each other. They love each other—the kind of love that never ceases to beat.
This is the couple that will always survive, Kevin……how many years has it been? Sharon and Nick have withstood the worst life could have possibly thrown at them ; yet, they’ve survived….come hell or high water.

Right on Celia…I loved it when there story started, from that mean Matt Clark played so well by both actors Eddie Cibrian and Rick Hearst.

Yes, Kevin….everything about Sharon’s life keeps me enthralled. I truly think that Sharon Case is underestimated.
She has taken a ‘beating’ and still running. …like the Energizer Bunny…LOL…. love Sharon to pieces!!

I agree with you Celia, Love Sharon Case and I think she is a fantastic actress.

It is amazing how the brass at CBS can remember the show’s rich history when it suits their purposes– but day to day story line often rewrites history and characters that should be on show are forgotten.

Very good point Mary SF and I agree with you…

But will they show Brenda Dickson?
^drama

You know what the show can give me for watching all these ears? an answer to what happened to Lisa Mansfield after she got away with locking Brad up in that cage for all that time so many years ago. I hated that she never got caught.

awww that made me miss Pratt, I liked him..
hmm I see Sharon has always been nauseating..
aha! Need Pratt back to kill Sharon off..owwoww and Cane!

I like anything Dina !! she is a charmer ..
I like anything Victor ..
I like anything Billy
I like anything Hillary
I like anything JT
I like anything Abby
I like anything Mariha
owww and Aludo? I’l just call him Mr Stud, I like anything him , I will have him 😉

Do you mean Arturo, su? He is a stud, for sure….but a cad!
Hold on to your umbrella….a storm is brewing. A triangle is afoot. Arturo, Nikki and Abs…..will Nikki backdown?
Hmmm ….who to chose, a rich B “grand-maman”, or a rich B “demoiselle”?….. or both? Variety is the spice of life. I wouldn’t know, LOL.

PS.
Whom to choose, that is……sorry….
Did you notice Abby’s hungry eyes as she checked out Arturo’s backside, su?
This will be something else where the hostility will fester between the Newmans and the Abbotts.
Poor Abby’s fealty is stuck between a rock and a hardplace. What a quandary!!

Cast members from Y&R will be on the talk today. Why aren’t you promoting this.

Wished they dedicate one show to cover a decade– do it for a week and we see a capsule of the entire history in 5 days. A Herculean task for anyone.

LOVE that idea Ron…

I know, right, Ron? I’d love that. …..episodes before my time (especially) would be a great gift for me……salivating, here. LOL.

I would think someone at CBS could put an intern on the project, maybe even involve a former star from any given decade who stuck around long enough to know the stories… Lee Phillips Bell is still alive– and family members, I am sure, could offer suggestions. A celebration of 45 years shouldn’t just be a Walnut Grove Reunion with just a few guests. Hopefully someone will get going on this kind of project in time for the 50th!

We’re visiting Syracuse this weekend, so we’ll at least be in the same state, my friend.

You have brilliant ideas, Ron….I do believe that TPTB should start reading these comments—so many light-bulbs would go off.
Enjoy your trip…..my brother-in-law went to Syracuse University….love the city. It is close to Port Charles. You must visit. LOL.

IT was a perfect weekend– wonderful campus, great downtown (food!), and very friendly people. Should my son choose this school, we’ll check out Port Charles!

@Ron.
Big step for your son, Ron……Giant step for you and your wife; if he’s your first child going away to College, that is. Big adjustment for all family members. I know my mother had a hard time when my brother ( her firstborn) went to University. It got easier, Ron…..there are six of us.
….Glad you enjoyed the trip……next time I visit Toronto, I must make a point of making a detour to Port Charles, myself…..

Love this show but I know what happens today not sure I want to see this the social issue is fine but the two characters MY is using it is plain wrong,

Oh, my Lord!!!! JT, as a wife-beater , never crossed my mind. My heart is still beating a thousand miles per hour…..that’s how much the scene impacted me….quelle surprise!!
I think Kay had suggested JT was doing drugs—-prescription or otherwise—-I agreed with her.
Are his heart pills responsible for this?
I asked my husband, but he said : absolutely not……so, what’s up? Is he mixing drugs? Is it a mental issue? Most abusers do struggle with either a neurological or psychological problem. Which will it be for JT?
No wonder Mac filed for divorce with full custody….he’s violent.
I must applaud Thad for his supreme acting—-very credible….I was actually scared for Victoria.
I congratulate the acting….not to be confused with the scourge of domestic violence—never that.
I am wondering if Y&R has ever tackled the issue….cannot recall….must ask my grandmother.

Hello sweet Cee, definitely saw this coming JT is a ticking time bomb ….
His constant criticism of Victoria has been escalating weekly,.. His pressure
points R being pushed beyond containment, Paul wanting immediate results,
divorce proceedings, custody issues, most likely losing his overseas job,
feeling beholden to Victoria for coming to his rescue ….Truth be told he had
no job or home after Cain and he cut ties, so he’s feeling lots of resentment
towards her …. NO EXCUSES EVER FOR A MAN USING HIS FISTS ON A
WOMAN!!! This will not end well…JT is on Victor’s radar and now he’s on
hidden camera verbally & physically assaulting his daughter…Does he have
a death wish??? Stay warm & toasty w/ all the snow fall expected in UR
area, later sweetness.

Hi, my lady Fanny,
So good to hear from you. Yes, JT is on the verge of exploding…….I think it’s more than all the pressures which have befallen him.
You think Victor set up surveillance cameras at Victoria’s house? Wow!!!! If that’s the case, JT is fried turkey.
Of course, you’re right….enough of the male dominance on women by using fists or mind-control.
…..or sexual abuse, albeit, there are women who are very abusive. We don’t hear about it because men are too enbarrassed to come forward.
Yes, my Fanny….we were hit for the fourth time in less than a month. It snowed all day and all night.
Last week our pergola and patio portico collapsed. This morning a pine tree fell on the house. My husband had patients to see, so he had to leave. There’s a crew to assess damage….not much can be done until snow melts. But, it looks like the leafy tips are feathering the side of the house….the naked eye of this inexperience look-seer ( LOL) does not think there’s any damage. It remains to me seen.
Thank God for generators…..albeit, all electrical wiring, cable etc arevunderground….so, the impact did not disturb power. I can watch my soaps, LOL.
Later, my lady….love you!!

CeeCee Dearest, Thank goodness you are all safe and sound…
Everything else is replaceable. Bisous Bisous

Thank you, Fanny….

Celia, I didn’t know you were in New York, WOW…stay warm and safe…I bet you all are so ready for SPRING…Have a good weekend.

Yes, Kevin, LOL. I was born in NY—The Lower Fork of Long Island—Suffolk County.
My Dutch Ancestors go back to the early days…..
I can’t wait for Spring planting, my friend–I like to get my hands in the dirt, LOL. We are all ready for warmer westher.
One good thing about Long Island, as Martha’s Vineyard, the snow in spring does not last…it melts pretty quickly, albeit the snow was neverending this past month.
Thank you for your kindness and lovely words. Much love.

Oh my word, CeeCee!!!! I was wondering if the “God of Thundersnow” had wreaked his havoc upon your home and hearth…now I know the answer! Just glad everyone is safe…Been busy setting up a new computer and attending to other “real life” stuff, but have been meaning to check in with you and say hello! Hope all else is well with you and yours and that we can soon again meet up in “Port Charles”…I haven’t watched GH for a few weeks now….it’s just been boring me to tears, so recently online recaps have had to suffice. Oh well….Later!

Hi, Shay…again, welcome…
You’ve been a busy bee, eh?
Let me tell ya….it has been a harrowing month. We built our house six years ago in the Flying Point Area… there are existing trees—some old trees spread around the property….too much water, too much snow….the tree uprooted. Scary! I think about the children…so, many of said trees will be felled for safety sake.
The structure ouside over the patio could not sustain the snow either. We will not rebuild another…too perilous to even contemplate.
You must watch GH, Shay….your favorite is acting the schoolgirl, again…not as the mature woman she is.
I am so disappointed with the turn Alexis is once again taking. We all know TPTB will ‘join’ her and Julian in unholy matrimony for the second time….it is sickening to watch.
So, now she has led Julian to believe that she and Finn are in united bliss. Why can she not make it easier for herself, if she were true to herself, and avoid him? Aren’t there any other bistros (or whatever Charlie’s is) in town? Why does she congregate there?
All of them are acting like High Schoolers, including your beloved Anna, LOL. She is a strong, secure, smart woman….I don’t even recognize Anna, any more.
Other than Mike and Nelle, the stories go around in circles in PC….seeing Sonny and Carly on a daily basis is becoming overwhelming.
And, I am in no way interested in Faison post-mortem….. especially, Peter. He hasn’t taken root with me.
I find Spinelli’s sleuthing viscerally a’rumbling. I know you like him; the character is too enervating. I don’t feel the attraction, even when speaking in his most dulcet tones.
I care not about Jason’s “imprisonment” in that makeshift Russian hospital….not unless it bears some kind of fruit…such as, Helena is at the bottom of the debacle; having partnered-up with Faison.
The story is passe, the more the writers dance around it, the staler it becomes. Stop lingering….
Soon, bella!!

Hi Celia, THANK YOU for that info on where you born…I have always find it interesting to talk with people and to know where they are from…BTW, which is your favorite soap?

You’re welcome, Kevin. I am the same way….I’m a people’s people, and thanks to Mr. Fairman, we get to meet many interesting personalities here, striking some friendships.
I am very curious by nature, just as you are…..
I can tell you one thing….I don’t have the typical New Yorker’s accent….LOL.
My favorite soap has always been and always will be Y&R…..then Another World, AMC and OLTL…..I enjoyed Passions for its off-the-wall, amusing storylines and characters….especially Timmy, RIP.

Oh, and DOOL, Kevin…LOL….how could I forget Days!!

‘General Hospital’s’ Dominic Zamprogna Shares He Was ‘Happy to Hear’ of The Triangle Storyline Developing Between Dante/Elizabeth/Ric

Published

By

Dominic Zamprogna

General Hospital’s Dominic Zamprogna (Dante Falconeri) opened up about the burgeoning love triangle forming between his Port Charles alter-go, Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) after recently aired scenes, plus his hopes for the future of a Dante and Liz pairing, during his appearance on the Sunday, April 23 edition of the That’s Awesome podcast with Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) and Bradford Anderson (Spinelli).

On last week’s episodes of GH, Ric has made the decision that he wanted to propose to his ex-wife, only when he showed up at Elizabeth’s front door, he misread the scenario he walked in with Liz tending to Dante’s injured leg from the softball game. From there, the legal eagle’s jealous streak is reemerging which may cause him to act out and do something unforgivable, or will he take the high road? Stay tuned.

Speaking with Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson about where Elizabeth stands in the annals of the long-running soap, Zamprogna said, “She’s up there with Steve and Maurice (Maurice Benard) as one of the most legacy-filled people on the show.”

HOW DANTE AND ELIZABETH CAME ABOUT

Dominic jokes it’s a far cry for where Dante and Elizabeth previously, recalling, “We had some scenes together years ago and we were both laughing. Becky’s like, ‘Well, I guess we’re not going be paired up anytime soon.’ I remember we laughed immediately after they yelled ‘cut,”‘and said to each other, ‘Well, so much for that!'”

Fast-forward to early 2025 and as Zamprogna remembered it, “Elizabeth Korte (co-head writer, GH) came up to me at the General Hospital Christmas party, and I think it was a year and a half ago and she said, ‘We’re going to have you in scenes with Elizabeth,’ My internal monologue is going, ‘I’m not with Lulu (Alexa Havins) anymore and Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) gone, so maybe they want to see if this works.’ I didn’t want to get scenes with Becky and try to find the chemistry. I just wanted to play whatever honestly was written and came across for both of us and hope it was what people liked, and I don’t know if it is … or not.”

Knowing how beloved Elizabeth is to the GH faithfuls, Zamprongna added, “She got a big fan base with Ric … and a big fan base with with Jason … and you know, you’re going to piss somebody off. But, didn’t Ric drug Elizabeth and put Carly in a panic room?”

DANTE AND ELIZABETH PAIRING COULD STIR UP STORY FOR OTHERS IN PORT CHARLES

In closing, Dominic felt that the wide-reaching tentacles of a Dante and Elizabeth relationship is something he is down 100% to play. “The triangle thing; I was happy to hear it was with Ric and her, because I felt it’s important to have her the top of it as opposed to Dante, Lulu and Elizabeth.:

Zamprogna added, “When you get into relationships on a soap, things seem to fizzle out a little bit and the buildup is what’s the fun part, and the getting to know each other. and the people who are affected by this coming together. When with this case it’s going to affect Ric, Sonny, Lulu? So, much more story here. To me, it’s going to be a fun story to play.”

You can check out Dominic’s visit to That’s Awesome with Steve and Bradford below.

Now weigh-in: Are you rooting for Dante and Liz, or Dante and Ric at this juncture of the story, or neither of them for Elizabeth? Let us know your thoughts and picks via the comment section.

GH and OLTL Alum Patrick J. Gibbons Reveals the Story Behind Writing Trina’s Song on ‘General Hospital’ (Exclusive)

Published

on

By

Patrick J. Gibbons

At the conclusion of today’s August 21 episode of General Hospital, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) sings a lullaby to baby Dez, that went into a montage to close out the episode as her father Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) reports to Pentonville and winds up in his jail cell.

However, in a fun fact, the song entitled, “A Lonely Heart To Give” was actually written by none other than former One Life to Live and General Hospital actor, Patrick J. Gibbons.

Daytime fans first met Gibbons as Sam Manning on One Life to Live. At the time, when he started on the soap, he was just 5-years-old. Gibbons played the part from 2010-2013 on ABC and Prospect Park’s editions of the show. Fast-forward to 2018, Gibbons shows up on General Hospital as Wyatt Hoover, the scout who seemed always be injured, but in the thick of the drama. Patrick had appeared on GH multiple times as Wyatt including: 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023.

FROM HIS GRANDMOTHER’S DEATH CAME THE INSPIRATION FOR HIS SONG

Now in 2026, General Hospital fans are getting to learn about another side of Gibbons’ talent as a songwriter and guitar player after “A Lonely Heart to Give” debuted today! Michael Fairman TV caught up with Patrick, who is now a senior at Penn State entering his final year as a finance major, to get the back-story of how his song wound up on GH!

Gibbons explained he wrote the song in honor of his grandmother who passed away a few years ago with whom he was, very, very close with. “Randomly, my grandmother had a downfall and passed away during the second semester of my sophomore year. I was in my dorm a lot and I was just playing with my guitar. And at the time, I was really into finger-style playing. I wrote the lyric and music to it (with a little help from my guitar teacher Lou), and my mom showed the rough demo to Frank Valentini (EP, General Hospital). He’s like an uncle to me. Frank loved it so much he said, “Finish that up. I want to hear the whole thing, and I want it on the show.”

MAKING MUSIC FOR GENERAL HOSPITAL

Gibbons and his parents took the next steps! “So now, all we needed was a female voice, because I thought that would fit the song well,” Patrick shared. “At the golf club we go to my parents were at a dinner. They liked the singer that was performing and spoke to her about the song, and she says she would like to bring it to her ‘boss’ who ended up being Eric Bazilian of the Hooters fame!” (Bazilian also wrote the smash hit song “One of Us” for Joan Osborne).

Next, “We went in the studio and recorded it and the song came together and it was beautiful. We loved it. They loved it at General Hospital and now they’re putting it the show and they are coming in with a piano, instead of a guitar. Paul Glass, the GH musical director, has been keeping us updated over the last six months of how it was coming along, and when it would air, and how GH put their own arrangement to it. I can’t wait to see and hear what they did with it.”

PATRICK’S ONE LIFE TO LIVE FAMILY

Everyone knows that the One Life to Live extended family share a very tight bond, and Patrick said he does stay in touch with a few of his former One Life to Live co-stars, especially those from the Manning family! “I stayed in touch with Kassie DePaiva (ex-Blair) and sent her little videos here and there. She was like my second mom for five years. We keep in contact with Kristen Alderson (ex-Starr) over X the most, and she can’t believe how big I’ve gotten. Like, none of them can! (laughs). I also loved working with Roger Howarth (ex-Todd) and Trevor St. John (ex-Todd and Victor Jr.), and to me since I was so young, they were just my friends, ‘Roger and Trevor,’ not Todd Manning or Victor Jr.”

It was a trip to California and a visit to Port Charles that ultimately led to Gibbons second soap role of Wyatt Hoover. Patrick explains, “In 2016, Frank Valentini invited us out to Los Angeles to visit the set of General Hospital. I think he heard me say, ‘This is so much fun. I miss being on the set.’ He goes, ‘You should come out. I’ll bring you on the show. We can make you a character.'”

A few years later, Patrick’s dream became a reality! “Then, by the summer of 2018, I was playing Wyatt, the scout, and shared scenes with Wes Ramsey (Peter August), and the best was when I shared a scene with Roger Howarth and Michael Easton (ex-John, OLTL and ex-Silas, Finn et al, GH), it was like chemistry from the old days.”

IT’S ALL IN THE NUMBERS

As to his future aspirations, it’s a career in the finance game that has piqued Gibbons’ real-life interest. But never say never to a return to acting. Patrick explained, “I’ve always enjoyed numbers. And on top of that, one of the biggest parts of finance is being personable and outgoing.”

He continued, “That’s one of the greatest skills I developed growing up. I really love the markets. I’m super interested. I’m never going to close the door to acting. I’m always open to that because I just love it so much. It’s such a great art.”

Take note! If there are any investment bankers or private equity folks among the GH faithful looking for a young analyst next year, Patrick’s DMs are open. You can find him on X at @PatrickJGibbons.

So, what did you think of the song sung by Trina on today’s GH that was written by Patrick J. Gibbons? Did you enjoy Patrick’s performances as One Life’s Sam and GH’s Wyatt? Would you like to see him back on GH at some point? Let us know via the comment section.
