Y&R Stars to Appear on ‘Celebrity Family Feud,’ But Who Is Their Opponent?
When Celebrity Family Feud returns this summer with all-new episodes which begin on ABC on July 10th (as part of the network’s Summer Fun and Games primetime programming block, a team comprised of stars from The Young and the Restless will be competing.
On Saturday, the team comprised of: Lauralee Bell (Christine), Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea), Michelle Stafford (Phyllis), Joshua Morrow (Nick) and Bryton James (Devon) revealed themselves, and took to Instagram and shared a cute snap complete with individually held cue cards, that say, “No, feuding in this family.”
Michelle Stafford added in her IG story, “The secret is out. I can’t wait till the release date to see my cast on Family Feud.” She also shared, “I won’t be able to stop laughing!” Meanwhile, Lauralee Bell wrote, “We played Celebrity Family Feud today, but there’s NO FEUDING IN THIS FAMILY!! Stay tuned for an air date this summer!”

The game show is hosted Steve Harvey and in the official loglines for the series, ABC share, “The iconic game show features celebrities, along with their family members or their extended TV families, going head-to-head in a contest to name the most popular responses to survey-type questions posed to 100 people for a chance to win $25,000 for a charity of their choice.”
That begs the question, who will the cast of Y&R be competing against? Another daytime drama, or a team from somewhere else? Keep your eye on social media in the coming days and we just might find out.

Before the Y&R stars play Celebrity Family Feud (at a date to be revealed), the series has a few weeks of reruns leading up to the season premiere in July. The WWE men’s team consisted of: LA Knight, Bobby Lashley (who is now in AEW), Austin Theory, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins, while the women’s team consisted of :Bianca Belair, Zelina Vega, Jade Cargill, Sonya Deville and Michin.

So, excited to see cast members of The Young and the Restless play Celebrity Family Feud? How do you think they did? Who are they playing against? Weigh-in via the comment section below.
This is likely the biggest news from Y&R this summer. And isn’t that sad.
So let me get this straight, family feud on ABC is gonna feauture YR. Ok, so is GH gonna be on CBS the Price is Right?
Okay, since it’s an ABC show, I would expect GH to be the opponent. If they could get Genie to play, they can show clips from her 1980 episodes with Richard Dawson.
Maurice Benard mentioned in the State of Mind chat earlier today that he recently taped Family Feud. So that pretty much confirms there will be a GH episode. He didn’t say who else was on the team or who they would be playing against, but Y&R seems their most likely opponent.
SOD is reporting that Finola Hughes, Rena Sofer, Donnell Turner and Tanisha Harper joined Mo as the GH team.
None of my favorites actors/actresses from Y&R not selected so I be passingon this one!

Kelly Monaco Honors Her Late ‘General Hospital’ Co-Star Billy Miller, Sharing Letter He Wrote After Taping His Final Episode as Drew Cain

Kelly Monaco (ex-Sam McCall, General Hospital) has taken to her Instagram for the second time this week and now honors her late dear friend and General Hospital co-star, Billy Miller (ex-Drew Cain) on what would have been his 47th birthday on September 17.
In her post, Monaco wished Billy “a heavenly birthday” and shared a typewritten note from her beloved co-star after he exited General Hospital in the role of Drew Cain. The three-time Daytime Emmy-winning actor played the part from 2014-2019.
Monaco wrote accompanying the photo of Billy’s letter: “He (Billy) sent me this a few years ago, after he left (the show) wanting me to post it… I didn’t/ But… I know he wanted anyone who’s ever supported his work and or got to know him as a friend to read this letter.”

BILLY MILLER WON THREE DAYTIME EMMYS FOR HIS WORK IN SOAPS
Billy Miller was one of the most respected actors to ever grace the daytime screens for his portrayals as Richie Novack on All My Children from 2007-2008 and Billy Abbott on The Young and the Restless from 2008 until 2014 and of course, his final soap stop on General Hospital. He also appeared on primetime’s Ray Donovan and Suits.
TOUCHING GOODBYE LETTER AFTER EXITING GENERAL HOSPITAL
Here now, is what Billy shared in his letter after exiting GH: “Hello, friends… With a slight air of sadness it is time to ponder what ‘goodbye’ means. However, instead of dwelling on what is gone and sure to be missed, there is another way.”
“Maybe our goodbye is really a remembrance of love felt, an appreciation for lives shared and the lifelong reminiscences that come from embraces given and received, Maybe our goodbye is an earnest hope for the brightest path forward for us all,” expressed Miller. “Maybe our goodbye is honoring growth and lessons learned.”
The beloved star added, “Now, instead of sadness, I am filled with gratitude for all your support, encouragement and every emotion shared. I cherish the journey we have taken together, Thank you for allowing me into your homes and lives. With every ounce of myself, I thank you for being you. I would be remiss in this crazy, unpredictable world we all love so much if I did not hold out the possibility that maybe our goodbye is really… until next time.”
Sadly, Billy died by suicide three years ago on September 15, 2023, just two days shy of what would have been his 43rd birthday. You can check out Kelly’s post below.
Now, share your remembrances today of Billy Miller and the touching letter he wrote after leaving General Hospital, that Kelly Monaco posted in tribute to her friend and co-star via the comment section below.
