THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS: Will Adam Crash Sharon and Rey’s Wedding? Do You Want Him To?

A New Years’s Eve wedding is being served up this week on The Young and the Restless as Sharon (Sharon Case) and Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) get set to commit to each other; but will that really happen with Adam (Mark Grossman) looming and Sharon’s feelings for him?

The latest promo from CBS Daytime offers that Adam is lurking around, while Sharon and Rey begin their nuptials. But according to Sharon Case in this week’s issue of Soap Opera Digest on newsstands now, the evening does not go off without a hitch, sharing, “There is a wedding crasher and a lot happens.”

We know that Eva LaRue (Celeste) and Jason Canela (Arturo) are also returning for the big day, but is there anyone else that would upend the wedding, but Adam?

Making things all the more strange is that Nick (Joshua Morrow) is Rey’s best man. Somehow and seemingly, Sharon and Nick, who have been up to now each other’s all-time star-crossed loves, are now so good with each other that they are the best of friends.

Case shared on the storypoint, “Yes, it’s kind of unusual that Nick would be the best man at Sharon’s wedding, but those two have come a long way since they’ve been divorced.”

They need to get rid of Adam already! At least this version of him!!
I liked MM as Adam and he and Sharon were good together. I also like JH’s Adam, but couldn’t picture him with Sharon. Now, with MG’s Adam, it’s much worse! There is no way those two would have been together.
Also, there is no way Sharon would have feelings for Adam, no matter who’s playing him, at this point in her life. She’s (supposedly) “grown up” and taken hold of her life, gotten a degree, has a business. She’s an adult, but the writers are making her look like an idiot teenager.
My choice would be for Adam to pack his bags and get outta town! Without Chelsea, although he’s mostly ruined Chelsea for me now. Maybe send her and her bratty kid too!

Y&R has fallen under 3 million viewers. I’d venture to say Mal Young left a lasting impression on Sony execs style wise. But it’s not working. Josh Griffith’s stories are failing to engage even longtime viewers of the show and that’s just not good. While its good to know the show is extended to 2024, it’s disheartening to see TPTB refusing to acknowledge the obvious….Griffith needs to be released from his contract ASAP. It’s the best solution going into the new year.

Not watched the show in forever but SC is lovely and I wish them all the best ! Once all this happened I just became disinterested but I do hope and pray they make it thru this get better stories etc life moves on and changes us all ! I won’t come back life has moved on for me and my family we are changing our life hopefully for the better ! Have wonderful memories and that’s great ! Lost a sister this year to alzheimers another one in fragile condition babies being born in fragile conditions etc etc pray for this nation and please stop attacking each other

Sharon and Rey are a horrible miss-matched couple..
They are stale blah an stagnate..
I hope something-someone will stop the wedding
but– it will not happen.
Y&R has become as exciting as toenail clipping
and that’s why I don’t see anything exciting happening LOL
Eventually- Sharon and Adam will be together, again.
We just have to wait for it- it will happen.
And- as a matter of fact all the Y&R couples are sleepers BLAH..
If it weren’t for Jason/Billy Y&R would be flushed.
Too bad/sad they hoked Billy up with Lily a total YAWN badly matched.
BWAHAA Billy & Lily .. sheeshhhh lol

Sharon and Adam belong together. Rey and Sharon are truly boring together and have no chemistry! I can’t wait until they separate! Couldn’t be soon enough for me! Sharon and Adam have hot chemistry JG should take advantage of this!

I’d like to see Dylan return, getting out of witness protection. Rey and Amanda might actually be a good romantic connection. It’s so hard with the covid restriction for the romance story lines, so let’s get some mysteries going!!!

Oh Su000, I’m afraid I agree. I can only assume Sharon wants a dull, uneventful, non-challenging life after all her recent trials. But oh, the doldrums! Rey is a sweet man but not for Sharon. The chemistry between Sharon and Mark is palpable and brings life back to the plot.

I may be in a minority, but while I don’t expect the wedding to go off without a hitch, I still want to see them get married. I like them together and I like Jordi. Rey is a good pairing for her IMO. As for Nick being Best Man, that is bizarre to me, even more so now that Artro is coming back for the wedding.

I hope you leave Sharon and Ray have a little happiness enough of this Adam nonsense. Billy is boring so is Lily storyline. Phyllis and Nicholas make me want to throw up. She’s evil and she’ll never be nice. I’ll always root for Nicholas and Sharon together forever but that can be in a much later storyline. Give Jack a love interest seems like he’s heading towards Sally.

Days of Our Lives is the weirdest show in the world so many evil people I guess that’s why the ratings are so high since since evil is popular the last 4 years. Too many different storylines getting ready to take it out of my recording list. Need to tie up some of these loose ends and get back to decent people with decent storylines.

I do not know how these people are paired up but it’s not working. I like Billy and Lily but not together, absolutely boring as are Rey and Sharon, who act like brother and sister. Because they are a couple in real life, a lot of people want Sharon and Adam together in reel life. I sure would hate seeing Jack and Sally together but she will go to any lengths to get where she wants to be. Another redhead trouble maker. Nick and Phyllis are a disaster and where is the son he fought to keep from his father? Victoria is so twisted up with her misery, she can’t see straight. They need to find someone new for her or put her and Billy back together. Devon and Amanda are a snooze fest as are the other two. Abby is trying too hard to get pregnant so we know that isn’t going to happen anytime soon. Why aren’t they using Ashley more? They have dragged Summer and Kyle through the knothole so many times, who even cares anymore? Happy New Year everyone!

I loooooooooooooooooove to see Sharon and Rey get married. Of all the men that Sharon had in her life (Nicholas, Adam, etc)., Rey is a breath of fresh air for Sharon.
Adam should not have come to the wedding. For what? And why did Rey pick Nicholas as his best man? Imagine, your fiancee’s ex-husband is also your best man? That is just plain cray-cray.
Billy and Lily—heck yeah. I want to see those two together. They have good chemistry and Lily needed someone to love.
They need to find a man for Victoria….what about Travis Crawford?? He should’ve come back and marry Victoria. 🙂 Hee hee
They need to find a woman for Jack.
I’m a little bit anxious to see what is wrong with Chelsea. Why she has “headaches” day in and day out.
Adam and Chelsea belong together 4ever.

THIS WEEK on GENERAL HOSPITAL: Jason Visits Elizabeth and Jake; John Has a New Plan To Take Down Pikeman

March 31, 2024

The week of April 1-5 brings with it the pick up of the action from last week in Port Charles, where viewers witnessed a shift in several key storylines and characters. With new head writers, Patrick Mulcahey and Elizabeth Korte, steering the direction of the stories, it will be interesting to see what comes next.

Official teasers for GH share that Jason (Steve Burton) will at long last visit with Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and their son, Jake (Hudson West). Since Jason’s return, Jake has not been too pleased with his dad. Now that Jason has been cleared of shooting Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), will Jake come around and be closer to Jason, or will there be a continued rift? Meanwhile, will Elizabeth and Jason find common ground?

Elsewhere, John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington) devises a new plan to take down Pikeman. Is Cates aware that Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) is running the organization while Brennan (Charles Mesure) remains behind bars? What will his plan be?

In other key points, Dex (Evan Hofer) gets an interview with the PCPD. Might he be joining the ranks with Anna (Finola Hughes), Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), Chase (Josh Swickard) et al?

THIS WEEK on GENERAL HOSPITAL: Sonny Tells Carly, ‘I Don’t Owe Jason Nothing’; While Sam and Jason Come Face to Face

General Hospital previews for the week of March 25-29 pits friends and family against each other over the recent return of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), and how he is implicated as the shooter that put Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) in the hospital still in dire straits.

Last week, with the walls closing in on Jason, he turned himself in to the PCPD while lawyering up with Diane (Carolyn Hennesy). Meanwhile, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), Michael (Chad Duell), Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), Danny (Asher Antonyzyn), and Carly (Laura Wright) all could be culpable for aiding and abetting a suspect in the shooting of a cop, and for hiding Jason.

In the latest promo for the ABC soap opera, we get a glimpse of Sam (Kelly Monaco) finally seeing Jason for the same time since his recent return, and asking him at the PCPD if he indeed shot Dante.

When everyone gathers at Jason’s arraignment, Carly is seen yelling at Sonny, “You owe Jason!” However, in a key moment, Sonny responds, “I don’t owe Jason nothing!” Will we finally see Sonny bring up the fact of how Jason and Carly were married when they believed he had ‘died’? Does Sonny truly believe Jason shot his son, Dante? Stay tuned.

But that’s not all! Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) has had it with Hope. Is it over what she decided about marrying her brother … or over the fact that she has been hanging around Finn (Tanner Novlan) and helping her husband in his time of need over the loss of his mother, the evil, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown)?

And, just where is this going with Luna (Lisa Yamada) talking to Bill (Don Diamont) about not knowing who her biological father truly is? Meanwhile, Poppy (Romy Park), in turn, is making a special request to Finn. What is the request?
