I thought it wasn’t worthy of being the series finale. It felt like a filler episode. The last 5 minutes with Jack and Rebecca in the caboose could have been tacked on to last week’s episode and that would have been perfect.

It was a beautiful way to end such a beloved series. No dry eyes here. The final moments with the Big Three talking about the future while sitting on the steps was particularly moving. The water works really flowed during that. A profound thank you to everyone involved in bringing this outstanding series to television.

I’m afraid I’m with Carol on this; naturally, all the hype didn’t help. I’ve watched every episode and I was expecting to be moved by the finale. As usual, way too much Randall while adult Kate was hardly on. And why did hair and makeup leave adult Kevin looking like a tired rabbi? I swear that black junk on the back of his head looked just like a yarmulke! For me, Jack and, especially, Rebecca were the heart of the show but those family game scenes felt forced and the train scene played better last week. But, overall the series… Read more »

For some reason I couldn’t stay with the back and forth way they did the show, but I feel the way you mentioned at the end of your post about A Million Little Things.

Finn Carr is General Hospital’s New Rocco Falconeri

Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Lulu’s son, Rocco is getting a new look! Enter young actor, Finn Carr, who will take over the role on-air beginning this week.

Carr is very familiar to TV fans who have watched Hot in Cleveland, Fuller House, Criminal Minds and more.  He has also appeared in streaming series for Netflix including Alexa & Katie, and most recently in an episode of Paramount+’s, I Carly.

Now that Rocco is a bit older (with Carr taking over the role), will he figure more into the story of Dante/Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) relationship, and the arrival of Dante’s buddy, Cody (Josh Kelly) on to the Port Charles scene?

The role of Rocco was first played by twins through 2017. Since then, Mason Tannous, O’Neill Monahan, and Brady Bauer have all played the part at one time or another.  In story, it was actually Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) who carried baby Rocco when she was implanted with Dante and Lulu’s stolen embryo.

Soap Opera Digest first reported this latest ‘Rocco’ casting switch in their latest issue on newsstands now.

So, please welcome Finn to the cast of GH in the comment section below!

Daytime Emmy-Winner Ted King Returns to B&B as Jack and Shares: “Sheila Might Want To Watch Her Back”

This week on The Bold and the Beautiful, things are set to take a startling turn.  First, in the latest promo for the CBS soap opera, Finn (Tanner Novlan) finally wakes up from his coma and Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) is right there with him! What will her next move be?

Meanwhile, newly crowned Daytime Emmy-winner for Outstanding Guest Performer in a Drama Series, Ted King (Jack), will be back on the canvas and that will come with more twists and turns in this already twisted storyline!

According to the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest on newsstands now, the character of Jack returns to Los Angeles after the massive falling out with his wife, Li (Naomi Matsuda) – who is somewhere under water at this point – and his biological son, Finn.  As viewers know, Finn was the ‘by-product’ of Jack’s affair with Sheila many years ago.

Now learning that Sheila shot both Finn and Steffy, Jack is not going to just let that go by quietly. Far from it!

King explained to SOD: “Sheila might want to watch her back.” He added, “This is not a happy family. At this point we’ve only seen Jack and Sheila extremely distant – and at each other’s throat.  So, I don’t think it’s going to get any better.”

Watch the latest promo for B&B below.  Then weigh-in; Glad to have Ted King back on the canvas? Will Jack get swept up again in Sheila’s machinations? Share your thoughts in the comment section.

Sal Stowers On Final DAYS Airdate Shares: “What An Incredible Journey These Past Seven Years Have Been”; Lamon Archey Adds, “Days fans, THANK YOU! We made a SUPERCOUPLE & a SUPERFAMILY #ELANI”

That’s a wrap for both Sal Stowers and Lamon Archey and their on-screen alter egos, Lani and Eli Grant.  Today on the July 1st episode of Days of our Lives,  the couple exited Salem paving the way for the real-life departures of Sal and Lamon who are going on to pursue other TV and film roles.

On her final airdate, Sal tweeted: “What an incredible journey these past seven years have been. To all our #Elani crew and #Days fans thank you for loving and supporting us the way you did. We will miss you much, I will miss you. Xx”

Lamon Archey also added his own tweets, sharing: “#Days fans, THANK YOU! We made a #SUPERCOUPLE & a #SUPERFAMILY #ELANI”

In story, Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) had a special farewell for Eli, and Abe (James Reynolds) adopted Lani so he could be her father again, in very touching moments on the air-show.

Still the departures of Sal and Lamon, who became quite the popular duo as #Elani, will be a very big blow for the long-running NBC soap opera.  But in soap operas, you never know when your favorite actors or characters might return.
