Today’s Cliffhanger Thursday episode of One Life to Live on Hulu and iTunes, was another move forward in driving the feuds between Viki and Dorian, and Todd and Victor Jr.,  into high gear!

Most notably, we loved the scenes with Roger Howarth (Todd) and Erika Slezak (Viki) as the one and only Lord brother/sister duo! And we loved the scenes with Roger Howarth chatting with Dani (Kelley Missal), Jeffrey (Corbin Bleu) and Matthew (Robert Gorrie)! Very Todd!

So here’s what’s shaking in Llanview today:  Victor Jr, (Trevor St John) continues his troubled ways. Is he trying to spike more of Todd’s drink and slowly poison him? Or, did he change his mind?  But meanwhile, something is terribly amiss with Victor Jr.  What does the tattoo on the inside of his wrist signify?  The yystery is building there!

Meanwhile, Dorian (Robin Strasser) amps up her revenge plot with Viki! While Viki talks to Clint (Jerry verDorn) and Todd about her desperation to save the banner from going under! Will Viki take the bait and lose everything thanks to  destructive machinations by Dorian?

Watch today’s One Life to Live after the jump! Then let us know if you are loving the Viki/Dorian, and Todd/Victor Jr. drama?

It is great.. Love this show!!!! give me MORE OLTL!

Was Victor continuing his attempt to poison Todd? Or was he backing off, replacing the poisoned liquor with some that wasn’t? That wasn’t clear to me from what I saw.

Yes, it looked like he replaced the arsenic laced liquor with untainted liquor…..and he wasn’t using gloves as he was last time……so confused

He used a rag to wipe the bottle, etc., off.

Great show, didn’t see that coming with Dorian and Viki!!!! I hope she does not take the bait!!!!

Would like to see more of Todd and Viki interaction before he leaves the show.

Todd’s not leaving, Roger Howarth is going to do GH and OLTL.

I BELIEVE VICTOR WAS BACKING OFF,LOOKING FORWARD TO THE REST OF HIS STORY

GLAD JACK DIDN’T LET TODD BUY HIS LOVE

Am so glad to have my OLTL back and for the most part I am loving it. I hope Viki doesn’t take the bait but I’m thinking she will because she desperately wants to save the paper and in turn she is going to blame it all on Clint since he encouraged her to invest money. I don’t know if I can watch Viki lose again, it reminds me so much of the dreadful Higley days, and I NEVER ever wanted to have to relive those days. It wouldn’t be so bad if it felt like Viki/Clint were a solid couple, these days you wouldn’t even know that they are together.

Love any interaction between Viki and Todd I can get, they are always wonderful to watch together.

And I’m intrigued as to who is watching Victor, Todd and Viki.

Didn’t think I would like the “younger” group but I find myself really liking them, but would like a day break from them. They really don’t need to be on everyday, do they.

I agree about the younger group not being on everyday. Younger actors are okay. I don’t reemember Dani being so out of control before like she is now. She was very sweet the last time I saw her on OLTL ! Now she takes drugs…I guess she is older
now. But in my opinion she is out of control… What happen with the relationship she had before OLTL was no longer on abc????

I can not view One Life To Live here In Canada.

I heard there New episodes of LIFE To Live is running on tv station in Canada called “FX Canada”

My comment was blocked, explained how easy it is, but I guess it falls into a “grey” area.

Sorry this fellow Canadian wasn’t allowed to help.

Why were you not allowed to help? What was your answer?

Hmmm, I have asked Michael why my comment was blocked, and an awaiting his reply.

Since this is he’s site, I will wait and hope that he allows the answer to be posted, or at the very least, perhap with your permission he could forward your email to me so I could respond to you directly.

Here’s hoping !

It looked like Victor was replacing the poisoned liquor with non poisoned. Maybe he changed his mind about killing Todd. If I were Victor, I’d keep rubbing Todd’s nose in it by maintaining a close and supportive relationship with Jack and Dani.

Victor’s reaction to seeing the tattoo on the guy in the coffee shop was upsetting. Can’t wait to learn the meaning of that symbol and what happened to Victor while he was held captive. I just hope Tea and Victor can get back to the closeness they enjoyed before he was “killed.”

I can see one of the next Banner headlines including a picture of Dorian with the young lady that was perceived to be a fan, holding their peace signs/Victory fingers up a la Nixon. Does anyone else smell a set up there?

yeah, I figured that gal would go off and giggle after getting Dorian to pose with a photo. That photo will probably be used for a spoof on a social media page – I suppose.

I think the tattoo has to deal with the storyline about the men of 21 from years ago!!

I am loving seeing Victor Lord Jr back from the dead !!!!! I missed him everyday that he was gone. Trevor St John who plays him is an amazing actor. Thanks HULU for bring him and OLTL back to us all !!!!

Ditto!

I’m back…..can’t NOT watch! I may not agree with wording but I do see it’s not terribly spoken. I know we all say it but it is still a soap.

???? I don’t understand what you are trying to say…

I just feel like they tricked out my soap. It’s like when people take a cute Honda and put spinning rims & ground effects & a giant spoiler on it. 🙁 Why?!
I’m still watching. Just makes me sad.

so, did you see the “tricked” out ‘sign language’ … that is the long viewing of flipping the bird at Matthew by his roommate.

I am loving every minute of it. I really hope that victor had a change of heart after todd offered a truce between them for the kids. They deserve a chance to be real brothers.

I hope they change the opening of One Life to Live – it’s awful, but the show is good, so long as they get away from these endless pointless music dancing shots at that stupid club Shelter – a more traditional opening with separate characters would be more appropriate especially since we really don’t know if Clint and Vicki will stay together, even Erica Slezak doubts that they will.

Don’t like how everyone has forgiven/forgotten all the bad things Victor did in his past and treat him like a good guy, but treat Todd so badly. Yes, he did terrible things but so did Victor! Don’t like the double standards!

yeah – like keeping Marty ‘captive’ – not giving her up to the cops right away after Lee Ramsey was killed and Todd (Trevor’s Todd) kept her and didn’t tell her everything correctly… and she basically fell in love with him, not realizing that he was the guy who raped her (or we thought he was the Todd that raped her… this was before the 2 todd storyline.)

Trevor’s character – as Todd or Victor – has been a captive at least 3 times — that’ll make you a different person!

I hope Viki won’t take the bait (Dorian’s bait) because Todd passes out and that takes her mind off of taking a chance with an iffy stock purchase… and then i also hope that Todd shows Viki how to bring her paper into the digital age…. which most papers did in 2008-2009, so this is a late story idea.

So far – GREAT!! I too, would love to see more scenes with RH/Todd & TSJ/Victor, the brother storyline would be really good. The younger folks are good, but I need more Natalie & Blair. It’s ok if you don’t have any love interest for Natalie since I think John McBain is the only man for her, but she could interact more with Liam and I wished you hadn’t used GH storyline because John McBain would have never acted the way they wrote him. They assasinated his character. Blair needs to sing more – love her singing but not at Shelter. Change is good, but I’d rather have RODI’s back!!

I think the show has improved from the first few days. Still not loving it…but liking it and find myself looking forward to watching it, if for no other reason than curiosity. f it continues this way I’m hopeful…

As for Victor, I’m thinking he’s continuing with his plan to poison Todd, and is replacing the vodka so that the doctors won’t know what it is that’s poisoned him and therefore can’t come up with the antidote…

‘General Hospital’s’ Steve Burton Shares Reaction to His Lead Actor Daytime Emmy Nomination, ‘It Was to Honor Leslie Charleson’

The 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Award nominations kicked-off on Monday with the announcements of four major categories including, Outstanding Lead Performer in a Daytime Drama Series — Actor, and among the nominees is General Hospital’s Steve Burton (Jason Morgan).

Burton is already a two-time Daytime Emmy winner in the Supporting Actor category for his roles as GH’s Jason and his turn as Dylan McAvoy on Y&R. However, Steve is yet to win in the Lead Actor category and he has received 11 nominations along the way in his daytime career.

Following the reveal that he is a 2026 Daytime Emmy nominee, he and his GH co-star, podcast co-host and comedy show partner, Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) taped a special edition of their That’s Awesome podcast just featuring Burton’s reaction to the news.

FOR LESLIE CHARLESON

Steve expressed, “I know it’s such a cliche to say, ‘I’m just so honored to be nominated.’ But truly, I’m so grateful to be nominated, so grateful to just be on the show off and on for 30 plus years and to be nominated with the guys in my category. Just to get the opportunity. Frank (Valentini, executive producer, GH) texted me right away. I was just like, ‘Thank you for the opportunity to get to do what I do.'”

Taking in the moment, Burton thanked those who helped him select the material for his nominated reel. “Unless you win, you don’t get to say things. So. I’m going just say a few things: Elizabeth Korte (co-head writer, GH) helped me a lot with the material, (as did) Michelle Henry, who’s a producer on the show, Laura Wright (Carly, GH), and then my wife Michelle (Lundstrom). I believe it was Jill Phelps who told me that when A Martinez felt like he had a great show or great scenes, he would mark it down. So, when Emmy time comes, you have all the show numbers written down, and you don’t have to think about it, because that’s half the battle (finding the material).

Burton explained how meaningful this nomination is for him, because of playing the scenes of Jason losing Monica, and his closeness with the late, great Leslie Charleson.

“The nomination’s an amazing thing, and it’s beautiful, but really it’s to honor Leslie Charleson. A lot of my material was because of her, and how I started on the show as a Quartermaine, it just means a ton,” shared Burton. “Maurice Benard (Sonny, GH) has obviously has been instrumental, and I’ve said it from day one and I’ll shout it from the rooftops. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be here, and to be working with the people that we work with is incredible.”

SHOULD JOHN OLIVER BE NAMED HOST OF THE DAYTIME EMMYS?

During the end of his conversation with Anderson, Steve suggested that the host of the Daytime Emmy should be Last Week Tonight’s John Oliver, who recently guest starred as the head of the WSB named Z on General Hospital, and is soon to show up on Days of Our Lives in a mystery role in August.

Thus far, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has not revealed their host for the upcoming ceremony to be held on October 30 in a venue to be named in Hollywood, California.

You can watch Steve sharing his reaction to receiving his 2026 Lead Actor Daytime Emmy nomination below on a special segment on the That’s Awesome podcast.

Now let us know, are you glad that Steve chose scenes surrounding Jason mourning the loss of the woman that raised him, Monica Quartermaine for his Emmy reel? What do you think of John Oliver as a suggestion to host the Daytime Emmys? Weigh-in via the comment section below.
