GH’s Dominic Zamprogna On How Dante Plans to Deal with Lulu and Rocco’s Cover-Up After Learning His Son Shot Cullum
By the end of the Friday May 8 episode of General Hospital, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) with the help of Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) put two and two and realized, that his son, Rocco (Finn Carr) is the person who shot WSB Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) in the back, and was the person who Jason (Steve Burton) was protecting.
This revelation hits the police commissioner like a ton of bricks, especially when he realizes his ex-wife Lulu has been in on the secret and not telling him about it. So, where does Dante go from here? In a new conversation with Soap Opera Digest, multi-Daytime Emmy nominee, Dominic Zamprogna shared what viewers can expect.
Zamprogna expressed on Lulu and Rocco not coming to him for help, “He gets that the reason they probably didn’t want to tell him is because they’re worried that he’s too by the book, but this is his son! He has a lot of anger over them not telling him.”

KEPT IN THE DARK – COMING INTO THE LIGHT
Armed with the truth, Dante’s caught between a rock and a hard place, “This puts him in a situation where he’s potentially going to do things that he wouldn’t normally do, and that’s a big deal for him. Dante having to confront these people for lying to him is going to be good drama and conflict. There is huge emotional fallout from all of this. It has a big effect on his relationships.”
Next week, look for Lulu (Alexa Havins) to be the first-person Dante confronts, “Alexa is so good in those scenes. She is such a powerful actress. But as far as Dante and Lulu go, I could see it taking them a very long time to heal from this, because of her lack of transparency.”
A THANK YOU TO JASON
As far as what Jason did for his son, and how Sonny’s enforcer was grabbed by the WSB and sent away, Zamprogna knows Dante will have a lot of thanking to do, if and when they connect on-screen when Steve Burton returns from his hiatus this summer.”
“Like we needed another reason to love Jason,” Zamprogna scoff, but acknowledging how Dante “definitely (is) going to be owing Jason big-time when he gets back to town!”
So, the once happy family of Dante, Rocco and Lulu is about to fall apart, but can they all work together to keep Rocco safe? Just wait till Dante finds out that his buddy “Nathan” is really Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) ! Something tells me in the end he is going to save Lulu from the guy.
Now, let us know are you looking forward to Dante confronting Lulu and Rocco? How can he protect his son in his position as police commissioner? Will he just look the other way? Share your thoughts and theories via the comment section.

Okay episode. Would be nice if Blair had something to do. Trischitta can’t act, still can’t act, can’t act, can’t act, and I wish they would stop ramming him down our throats.
I wonder about this “Michelle.” I don’t think she is what she appears to be. I smell a rat. Or, what if it is really Destiny? Just a thought.
I was shocked to see the missed call from John. I don’t watch GH. I think I heard Clint had a hand in Natalie finding out about John kissing Sam. How did his storyline end on GH? Again, I am in the minority and never felt they were right for each other. Natalie was such a compulsive liar and he was Mr. Uptight/Reserved/Law and Order. How could he trust her? If she has matured, may her lying days are behind her.
Todd was responsible for Natalie finding out that John kissed another woman (Samantha Morgan). John McBain was sent out on an FBI assignment.
What would make this ”Michelle” storyline shocking is that the person turned out to be Mathews so-called good friend Jeffry? And im suprised OLTL is using some of gh storyline after pp complained about how abc used the three oltl characters in gh stories without their consent…it seems, however, it works for OLTLs storylines so pp shouldve allowed abc to continue using the oltl characters on gh but its too late now!
Maybe the OLTL characters like being on GH.
Or maybe ‘Michelle’ is Rama?
Actually they have now cast a young woman to play Michelle
would love to see more of the Todd/Victor storyline. I wonder what Todd has to do with the organization that held Victor captive and did he know he was alive all along?
Paging Lennay Ke’kua…
Natalie will NEVER be over John!!! its obvious! if she was over him she wouldn’t have cared that he called her. With John and Natalie’s 10 year history and son, its never gonna be over between them. if ME ever comes back it will be EPIC! GH just messed up Johns character this past year! They didn’t even write Johns character the way he was written on OLTL, he was a totally different character! n GH needs to let ME go so he can go back to OLTL!! They’re keeping him on purpose because they don’t want OLTL’s ratings to increase. MEs character blows on GH right now anyways!
I agree Trischitta cant act for his life!! They keep shoving the matthew destiny and jack story lines down our throat! not liking it! we need more adult story lines other than the todd n victor story line.
They need to bring back some other characters to OLTL as well even if its recasts…
Agreed! “JOLIE” story needs to continue even if that means recasting John McBain and I love Michael Easton and wish him nothing but good fortune & success.
I don’t care for Natalie with Cutter . I never cared for Cutter before or now. He is a ladies man … In my opinion Cutter can’t stay with one woman for very long. And Natalie has Liam and I don’t think Cutter is to crazy about children. He likes all the glamor of his job & all the woman he meets up with this job. He is a shady character.I don’t think he is trust worthy to go into a full blown relationship with just one woman. I think Cutter likes varaity! Can’t stay with one person for very long. and she is still loves John. And I don’t think she is quite over him..
Totally co-sign your post cegee05! Love my Jolie & they never really got enough of happy times for us fans to enjoy, so I will never accept her with that player Cutter!!
I agree with all of you – Jolie was an EPIC love story, best one on all the soaps as far as I’m concerned, in the past 10 yrs. Soaps have forgotten how to do a love story. Throw them into bed, yeah, now they’re in love! Jolie simmered and simmered, making the audience WAIT for it .. then maddeningly they were torn apart again and again! FINALLY at the end, they were together. Then what does GH do with John? Make him go sniffing after Sam? After he finally got the woman he’d always wanted, the family he’d always wanted?! I don’t think so!
I said sometime ago Natalie and Cutter was going to be a couple and it looks like i might be right after all. And some fans said i was wrong! lol
Lets hope the hell not!
I am not enjoying the show at all! I think I know why. There are so few likeable characters. With the exception of Jeffery, the young characters are selfish and self centered. Even Destiny is now out clubbing with Natalie while somebody babysits. And we are supposed to feel sorry for her! Matthew is a jerk. Dani is a total mess. Who wants to watch that? And sorry to say,I agree, Trishitta CANT ACT! Even the so called grown ups are so wrapped up in themselves they aren’t anybody you would want as a friend…except for poor Vicki. I say Vicki and Clint and the half witted Bo and Nora should move to Texas and put this show out of its misery!
I like Jeffrey also… Matthew & Dani are totally out of hand…And Dani lusting for Matthew etc.I like Bo &Nora and Viki. Sounds like you don’t like oltl . I don’t think Bo is half witted.. I don’t agree with your statement about putting the show out of it’s misery! We finally got it back and I am happy about that.
Great scenes with the dysfunctional Manning family. Intentional or not, Andrew Trischitta plays Jack with a disaffection that works wonderfully in the charged scenes with his father, Todd.
I hope there is a new McBain waiting in the wings, or at least in the works.
Have to agree with you!
I think Andrew has improved greatly. He has become Jack, a Todd clone with a hint of conscience.
.
Just so disappointed in where OLT is going. I am a true fan, purchased HuluPlus.. Started out great, but for me just falling apart… no heart…no suspense….hate the sex with the young kids.. No romance…pace is going sooo slow… Smart decision on the part of the Landview 3 went to GH!
I totally agree. I wish I liked the new oltl, but it almost hurts to watch it….almost like it does a disservice to the wonderful show it used to be.
Now Jack might be involved with his summer school teacher!
I love all the established couples on the show .. Bo&Nora, Vicki&Clint, Dorian&David, Blair&Todd, etc., but ITA about the horny teenagers. Pathetic!
