Congrats on making it to 12,000! Huge milestone! But I’m confused why on Y&R and B&B, actors have to be so far apart from each other in scenes, and mannequins are used in place of real people for intimate scenes, while on GH and DAYS, the actors are hugging and holding hands, and kissing scenes are the only ones they aren’t allowed to do. You virtually can’t tell the difference on GH and Days, while on Y&R and B&B it’s extremely evident. Why are the COVID regulations different depending on the soap?

Hope it wasn’t as boring for Melissa as it was for a lot of us reliving everyone’s many marriages and memories. The good moments were cut off short and some of the best were not shown. Couldn’t they have at least put Abby in a white dress, it looked grey on my TV. at least something more bridal would have been nice. Poor Mariah looked like a mermaid. I have never heard Tracy sing, it was beautiful, so my comment isn’t all sour grapes, sorry!

As much as I wish Donny were able to partake in the wedding of Chance and Abby, I understand why they needed to substitute cast him with Melissa’s actor husband. The video was cute, and with a sweet ending as they showed their daughters watch the episode where Mommy and Daddy got married on tv. And I have enjoyed the flashbacks to the great romances of Genoa City over the past 12,000 episodes, and the ending while Abby walked down the aisle was especially well done.

I enjoyed that. The last scene with Melissa and Justin and their daughters is so sweet. Melissa is beautiful without makeup! I’m enjoying the wedding. Let’s get them married! 🙂

They could have made the honeymoon night so much more exciting. Could have had so much fun with that air mattress. Oh well, boring wedding, boring honeymoon. Maybe it will get better if Abby wakes up some morning with Donny Boaz in her bed.

DAYS Alison Sweeney Previews the New EJami

Coming up on Days of our Lives, Dan Feurerriegel take over the role of EJ DiMera on-screen, and the character is making quite the timely, or untimely return to Salem now that Sami (Alison Sweeney) has been hitting the sheets with her ex-husband, Lucas (Bryan Dattilo).

Feurerriegel is stepping into the coveted role of EJ made soap-famous by James Scott, who left the series back in 2014 and never returned.

Now the question is can Sweeney and Feurerriegel strike soap gold with their re-imagined duo known as “EJami”?

In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest on newsstands now, Alison Sweeney opened up about the casting, working with Dan, and the future of EJami sharing: “To be honest, I was nervous when I heard they were recasting EJ.  That’s a big role to fill, I mean, James Scott was definitely a fan favorite and EJ is such a memorable role in the story and certainly in Sami’s life.”

Sweeney said of sharing scenes with Feurerriegel, “Dan has been fantastic. I’ve really enjoyed working with him. He clearly understood the importance of the task ahead.”

As for what fans of EJami may be in for, Sweeney noted:  ” I hope those ‘EJami’ fans see the couple they were so connected to, but of course, in a new, different way.”

So will you be giving the new EJami a chance? Looking forward to Dan’s debut, or are you Team Lumi all the way? Share your thoughts via the comment section below. But first check out this week’s promo for DAYS.
