With only 25 days till the online premiere of All My Children, The Online Network (TOLN) had posted a brand new video recap with amazing clips that tell the principle story of the citizens of Pine Valley, from the 41 year history of All My Children.  When AMC was cancelled by ABC, millions of fans were devastated that they will never know what happened to the beloved characters they have grown to love every day.  But that will all change … as the series jumps five years ahead with all new episodes!

Now to bring you up to date on what you need to know to get re-introduced to the iconic soap, Daytime Emmy winner, Debbi Morgan (Angie Hubbard) leads the viewers through a heart-tugging narration which sets up the characters and what is to come when the show debuts on April 29th on Hulu.com, HuluPlus, and iTunes!

In the recap, you will see Bianca Montgomery’s rape played by Eden Riegel,  Angie reuniting with Jesse (Darnell Williams) decades after she believed he was dead, Brooke (Julia Barr) and Adam (David Canary) coming together, J.R’s . gunshot in the finale, Dixie  (Cady McClain) holding a picture of Tad, and if you watch carefully you may learn who was shot, plus some new footage!  Watch it after the jump and then let us know, what you thought of the video recap that catches you up on life in Pine Valley?

Wow! WOW…. Woah….

Stunning…. Tears of incredulousness… “Welcome to Pine Valley”.

My first real soap… 25-30 years ago. is back.

if in fact… it’s Tad that may have perished… ala’ that gun shot… ? hearing his voice-over Loving AMC… was fantastic. it’s relevant that it’s his voice doing the nuAMC opening… and/or publicity for.

Brooke… Dixie… Angie… Bianca….

these women leading nuAMC…. plus, Opal…. how grand is that.

it’s going to be fantastic… going from the reel above.

you know… the ramifications… when and if Dixie’s son…. JR…. is “revealed”…

talk about STORY,, for the chandler empire… haunted portrayal…. Tad was a resounding grounding…. for JR. with Dixie gone… a humane balance… if you will…. this would be a coupe… story…to… resonate throughout Pine Valley.

This is beautiful. I wasn’t a regular AMC viewer and I’m in tears after watching this. I will be a regular viewing starting April 29th.

Thank you to everyone who is making this happen.

I’m in tears over the loss of David and Cara’s baby, UNLESS (I’m hoping!) it’s just David’s paranoid nightmare just before being released from prison! 🙁 🙂

NO! ? No….

say it isn’t true….

Dr. David Hayward… deserves “LOVE”….

if that’s what makes him so enigmatic…. “flawed”… cared about….

i hope his relationship with Angie is further explored in the nuAMC…

i just wish… Kyrstal was back…. to further develop… and intrigue us along… with Dr. David…. w/ Cara…. WHO IS MARVELOUS.

It seems Tad was the one most likely shot…interesting to see how this all plays out. Hope the new writers pull it off!

I don’t think its Tad. He has not said he would not return to AMC. So he may still come back. He might be in a coma in some hospital, if he was shot.

I hope it’s not Tad, but then again I can’t think of any character that I WOULD want it to be. I love them all. Bring it on!

This video is amazingly beautiful. Loved seeing some of the beloved performers from the past. I just knew they would do location shots in the Stamford area. So much more authentic for Pine Valley than the ones ABC did in L.A.

Looking forward to seeing Ms Morgan & Mr Williams back together, they truly are special on screen.

SUPER! Thank you Michael Fairman. You really bind everything together; I love your site and read it all the time. However I may feel from time to time about the success/lack of success about this endeavor, I know the viewers can count on you for the complete story! But must say that I was deeply touched by this video and was sitting at my computer crying. I do hope this is a success but as always, hope if it is, it will inspire the networks to return it to TV.

The video was great (but I liked OLTL video better). I really wish Tad was going to be part of this. There are really 4 people that should be part of it that are not. Tad, Erica, Kendall, and Jack. I know some are doing other projects but I think they should try to make it work for the fans.

All My Children Alum Cornelius Smith Jr. Joins the Cast of Apple TV+ Limited Series, ‘Five Days At Memorial’

Daytime fans remember him fondly as the son of Jesse (Darnell Williams) and Angie Hubbard (Debbi Morgan), Frankie, on All My Children.  And now, actor Cornelius Smith Jr., is set to join a major limited series based on the acclaimed nonfiction book by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Sheri Fink, about the the first five days following Hurricane Katrina made landfall entitled Five Days at Memorial.

Written by John Ridley and Carlton Cruse, Smith will play a doctor, (something he is very familiar with playing since Frankie Hubbard was a doctor in Pine Valley!) named Dr. Bryant King, an internist and one of the few doctors of color at the hospital, who finds himself very much in the middle of the crisis.  He will headline the show alongside Vera Farmiga and Adepero Oduye.

The series will stream on Apple TV+, and no word yet as to when it will have its debut following its filming.

Since his time on All My Children, Smith has appeared on ABC’s Scandal, and had recurring roles on God Friended MeSelf Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam C.J. Walker and Manhunt.

Deadline broke the casting news.

So, looking forward to seeing Cornelius back on our screens? Do you remember his work as Dr. Frankie Hubbard on All My Children? Comment below.
