TONIGHT: NASHVILLE Season Two Finale: Will Exposed? Luke Proposes To Rayna? Emotional Cliffhangers Ahead!

ABC’s Nashville (10pmET/PT) wraps-up its second season (and thank God a season three will be on its way) with an emotional episode that has several key components to it.

According to TV Line, look for Will Lexington’s  sexual conflict to come to the forefront especially since cameras are on him all the time in the reality series featuring the country western star and Layla!

As previewed by Chris Carmack (Will),  “The walls are closing in on Will.  It’s a lot to handle.  It’s going to expose how much he’s lying to himself, because the only reason he can keep up this lie is because he has these moments where he can explode, and then come back to normal0. What you realize when the cameras are on you is, if you explode, that’s what they’re going to show.”

And in a major plot point at Rayna’s Highway 65 Album launch, Luke has a very public question to ask the queen of country music! From the looks of it, he will ask Rayna (Connie Britton) to marry him!  Will Chase (Luke) previews that even though the die-hard Rayna/Deacon fans aren’t rooting for Luke and Rayna, the final minutes of the cliffhanger will be the most fun to watch.  Will says of the season finale:, “People want things to be messy, because things are messy. You want that kind of messiness in there.”

In the official season finale description from ABC, “As Will Lexington’s album climbs the chart with the help of Jeff Fordham’s deep pockets, Rayna enlists Teddy’s help to plan a huge, free concert at LP Field to draw attention to her Highway 65 debut.  She will perform with Luke Wheeler and duet with Juliette before thousands of fans. Zoey, Avery and Gunnar rock out at a benefit for Deacon’s favorite charity, Sober House, and Avery plans to serenade Juliette with a song he wrote for her. But when he attempts to sing it, he doesn’t understand why she is not present. And Scarlett makes a decision about her future in Music City.”

Now watch a preview for tonight’s season finale of Nashville! Is Will going to be outed? Will Rayna accept Luke’s proposal?  And what about Juliette’s  (Hayden Panettiere) secret fling with Jeff Fordham (Oliver Hudson) ?   Will Avery (Jonathan Jackson) find out the truth about his girlfriend?  Let us know what you think will go down tonight!

I’ll watch.. but it is not a favorite show..
Revenge and Scandal … now those are prime time soaps, not Nashville..

Nashville has way too much music/singing and no real hard driving story..

Well, there’s no accounting for taste…or lack thereof.

Love Nashville! So glad it got picked up for a 3rd season. This and Parenthood are my favorite prime time dramas. And what a cliffhanger last night! I love Rayna and Deacon but Luke is adorable too. The problem is that the actress has fabulous chemistry with everyone on set. Conundrum!

Rayna and Luke have zero chemistry. Their relationship is a dry as dust!
Now Rayna and Deacon can steam up the room with just a glance!

General Hospital

WATCH: Jonathan Jackson + Enation’s New Music Video “The Days Are Evil”

Five-time Daytime Emmy winner from General Hospital, and former Nashville star, Jonathan Jackson (Ex-Lucky, Ex-Avery) has released a new music video for the new single “The Days Are Evil” along with his band Enation.

The music video features shots of Jackson in a very dark incarnation, and the track will also appear on Jackson + Enation’s upcoming album due out later this fall, Ultraviolet Empire.

Jonathan says of the new album: “Our new album, Ultraviolet Empire, is a throwback record. It’s a record we played together live in the studio. Most of the songs are one take -just letting the band play.  It was amazing playing with our co-producer Colin Linden and capturing something so raw and visceral.”

This will be the band’s follow-up to their 2017 album  Anthems for the Apocalypse and their successful 2018 tour in Europe opening for Echo & The Bunnymen,

Check out the music video featuring Jonathan released this week below.

Then, let us know, should Lucky return to Port Charles for the Nurses’ Ball with his band and play a tune off the new album next spring? Will Jonathan come home to GH for a guest appearance? Will you be checking out the new music from him in the coming months? Comment below.

NASHVILLE To Become Broadway Musical

Looks like the Music City drama, Nashville, originally on ABC and then on CMT, has more than nine lives! Now the popular soap is headed to the stage and Broadway after six seasons on the small screen.

The show is set to have a musical adaptation with 10-time Tony Award winner Scott Delman (American IdiotRagtimeBook of MormonHello, Dolly!Fun HomeMean Girls) in charge.  In addition, Delman will serve as lead producer of the show and he has acquired the live theatrical rights from Lionsgate and ABC Studios.

Nashville, with its complex, relatable characters and sweeping emotional gestures, has all of the narrative elements that I look for in great theatrical source material,” Delman said in a statement. “From that rich DNA, we will be building an original story with entirely original music, written by major Nashville and Broadway songwriters.  We are particularly excited to deliver Broadway’s first score of true contemporary country music — a genre that has exploded with mainstream audiences in recent years. Lionsgate has a treasure-trove of sterling IP, and I’m honored to be a part of this new phase of their live entertainment division.”

Additional information on the upcoming musical, including production dates and a creative team, is expected to be announced shortly.  Now the question becomes; will some of its beloved series stars be in the Broadway rendition of the series?
