Trevor St. John speaks on Victor Jr.'s shocking return on the OLTL finale & if GH is in his future!

In one of the most shocking soap opera finale’s ever, One Life to Live pleased its millions of fans with the long-hoped return of Trevor St. John as Victor Jr.! For months fans were reeling from the departure of St. John after Victor was shot in cold blood, by all accounts by his brother, Todd. But, as was revealed at the end of last Friday’s final One Life cliffhanger, Victor Jr. was alive and being bound and gagged by wacko Allison Perkins!
In the latest edition of Soap Opera Uncensored, Nelson Branco spoke for a bit with St. John about how he managed to keep the secret of his return from all the soap press and all his fans for so long as well as a few other interesting tidbits.
Here are a few excerpts below!
Trevor on keeping his return in the finale a secret: “It was easy. I just had to give non-denial denials. Nothing was pre-designed. They just said, ‘don’t tell anybody.’ That was as covert as it got.”
Trevor on Victor Jr. being bound and gagged by a another female character as his last moments on One Life: “Well, he’s no stranger to that. He must enjoy it. He allowed himself to be raped by Margaret Cochran, if you want to call it rape. I guess he’s into bondage.”
Trevor if he would consider going over to General Hospital: “Yes. I’d give it consideration.”

Christel Khalil Reveals She Almost Quit Acting After ‘That’s So Raven’ Audition, But Then Came ‘The Young and the Restless’
The Young and the Restless fan favorite, Christel Khalil (Lily Winters) is the special guest on this week’s edition of Soapy Hosted by Rebecca Budig and Greg Rikaart which dropped today on Tuesday, June 23rd.
During the interview with Rebecca and Greg, Khalil who had played Lily Winters on-screen since August of 2002, nearly 24 years with the CBS soap, shared how early on her teenage acting career, she was ready to call it quits in show business, after a heartbreaking audition for the lead of a new Disney Channel sitcom, which later turned out to be the hit seres, That’s So Raven, starring Raven-Symoné which ran for four seasons from 2003-2007.
Christel recalled what happened. “I was 14 and I had always auditioned for all these Disney projects. So I auditioned for That’s So Raven, it was between me and Raven-Symoné and it was called at the time Absolutely Psychic,” explained Khalil. “The character was this girl who had psychic ability, but then when Raven got the role, they named the title of the show after her.”

HOW A BROTHERLY TALK CHANGED THE COURSE OF CHRISTEL’S CAREER
Reliving the disappointment to Greg and Rebecca, Christel explained, “I lost that part and I was just so devastated, because for the network call there were 20 people in the room watching me, and I just have always had such performance anxiety. I just completely bombed the audition and it was terrible. So, I was just devastated. I was actually going to quit acting and then I got the final call for The Young and The Restless and I wasn’t going to go.”
It was Khalil’s brother, who actually got her to reconsider, and if he hadn’t, we would not have our Lily Winters in Genoa City! Christel recounted, “I was like, ‘You know what? I’m done. I don’t want to do this anymore. I’m just going to hang out with my friends.’ I was just devastated. My brother, who is seven years older than me, and he had quit acting at the same age that I was at that time. He said to me, ‘I promise you, I actually really regret quitting. Just go on this audition and if you don’t get it, you can quit.'”
Christel’s screen-test for the role of Lily was actually with the late, great, Kristoff St. John who would play her father Neil (Later it was revealed to Lily, that Neil’s brother, Malcolm Winters was her bio-dad).

ACTING WAS EASY WITH THE LATE KRISTOFF ST. JOHN
“So, I went (to test for Lily) and I remember the screen-test was with Kristoff St. John. It was just so easy to act with him because he’s just so there. I remember just being on set, and that was my first time there for a screen-test where you were actually on set. I had never experienced that before. It was my first time being with an actor and having makeup done, which just helps you really be able to do your best work.”
Recalling the screen-test with the St. John, Khalil, “It was where I had to be emotional ( in the scene) and I always had issues being emotional at auditions. But I was there with him, it just came, and it happened. It was natural and I felt so good and it was amazing. It stands out in my mind a lot.”

If you have ever tuned-in to the soap opera genre over the last 50 years, and witnessed some of the greatest romances, drama, classic and outlandish storylines of all-time, you would have seen Deidre Hall smack dab in the middle of it as longtime Salem heroine, Dr. Marlena Evans.
It was 50 years on this date, June 21, 1976 that Hall first appeared on DAYS on NBC which was its home for 57 years before it moved to its current streaming platform on Peacock in September of 2022.
In Hall’s first episode she was introduced as a psychiatrist treating Mickey Horton (John Clarke) at Bayview Sanitarium after he suffered a complete mental breakdown. Mickey learned that his brother Bill Horton (Edward Mallory) was the biological son of Mike Horton (Wesley Eure) with his wife Laura (Susan Flannery) and that he had been lied to for years and years. From that moment on, the rest is television and soap opera history. Days of Our Lives put Hall front and center.

There were so many heartbreaking and shocking story twists involving the beloved Marlena. One of the first was the historic crib death of baby DJ (Don Jr.) in 1980, Marlena’s infant son with Don Craig (Jed Allan). The story had never been told on daytime television and Hall’s performances received accolades from TV critics to fans when Deidre received thousands of letters from grieving mothers who had gone through the same thing in their own lives.
DAYS also brought Deidre’s twin sister, Andrea Hall Lovell to the show as her on-screen sister Samantha, who had a grudge and even locked Marlena up in a sanitarium and took her place! Fast-forward and in 1982, DAYS launched the Salem Strangler story where everyone believed Marlena was his next victim, only it turned out to be Samatha. Jake Kositchek (played by Jack Coleman) was revealed to be the actual serial killer.
Later, Deidre would assume the role of Marlena’s look-alike, Hattie Adams in 2004, once played by her sister, Andrea. Over the years, Hattie has come back to Salem and caused trouble giving Hall a chance to play a different type of character, then the always upstanding Marlena.

THE LOVES OF MARLENA
Deidre Hall struck gold with all her leading men: from the late Jed Allan, to Wayne Northrop as Roman Brady, and of course, her enduring love story with the late John Black played by the iconic Drake Hogestyn. In fact, Marlena’s 1986 wedding to John (who was believed to be Roman at the time) remains a favorite of fans to this day.
TOP MARLENA STORYLINES OF ALL-TIME
While the list is long, here are several that were some of the memorable during Deidre’s five decades in Salem!
The Possession (1994- 1995)
Considered one of the most ambiguous, outlandish and unforgettable story arcs in soap opera history, then Days of Our Lives head writer, James Reilly went there! Marlena was possessed by the devil! That included; the demonic eyes, hissing at father John (Black) the priest, morphing into creatures, and the classic levitating in her bed! It became a cultural phenomenon and cemented Deidre Hall’s status as a daytime television legend. Just ask Ryan Gosling!

The Affair with John Black (1993)
John and Marlena’s forbidden love could not be denied and they had passionate affair, while she was still married to the real Roman. Problem was her daughter, Sami (Alison Sweeney) caught her mother having sex with John on a desk that changed Sami forever.
The Salem Stalker Mystery (2003-2004)
In a shocker, Marlena was revealed to be a serial killer who bumped off several Salem favorites residents who were all alive on the island of Melaswen (spelled “New Salem” backward). Turns out, she was manipulated and gaslighted by Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) to do the “killings” and had no memory of her actions.
The Pier Scene (1991)
This remains Michael Fairman TV’s all-time favorite Deidre Hall moment, which featured some of the best acting in the storied careers of both Hall and Drake Hogestyn.
In the story, a presumed-dead Marlena returns after four years. One foggy night on the pier, John is alone, and Marlena steps out of the fog to reveal herself, and is reunited with the love of her life. You can watch it any year, any decade, and in any moment, and it will have you reaching for the hankies again and again. (best music score fo a soap scene of all-time too!)

Kristen’s Secret Room Reveal (1997)
Marlena was caught in Kristen Blake’s (Eileen Davidson) elaborate web of lies, when she was held hostage in a secret wine cellar/room until John managed to track her down, leading to an iconic on-screen reunion. The classic catfight between Hall and Eileen Davidson was one for the ages.
It should be noted that Maison Blanche, Queen of the Night, Possession, Aremid and Lady in a Cage were all a part of classic DAYS storyline and all featured Hall at the epicenter of it from 1993-1996.
THE RECENT YEARS OF MARLENA
In recent years, DAYS brought back the possession 2.0 storyline under then head writer Ron Carlivati in 2021 where the devil leapt back in Marlena after taking advantage of a frail Doug Williams (the late Bill Hayes)
In 2025, viewers watched the end of the love story of John and Marlena, as John succumbed to injuries sustained in an explosion saving a vial of medication needed to bring Bo (Peter Reckell) back to life. Marlena has been a widow on-screen since June of 2025 as Hall as portrayed the good doctor struggling with her grief and to move on with her life since his death.

One story that never goes away is Stefano DiMera’s (the late Joe Mascolo) obsession with Marlena, his “Queen of the Night.” Even in death, Stefano is toying with her from the great beyond with the mysterious chess set and the missing “pawn,” that he had gifted John and Marlena in his will. The mystery is currently unfolding on all-new episodes of Days of Our Lives.

I am stunned to hear this news from Trevor. The question is; does GH need another actor on the scene. This is all getting too murky for me. I think GH would have to completely change their direction. Right now, this soap is boring and the same old-same old……
Maybe bringing in a half dozen OLTL Characters is GH trying to change direction. I have heard so much complaining about this but,people are forgetting the real key here: we get to see a few of our beloved OLTL Characters again when we didn’t think it was possible. I’m hoping something good comes out of all this so,let’s not give up hope!
I am a GH fan I have to agree with your comment. They are doing a good thing I believe by changing it up. I personally want to see some of the cast change but it is the core families I do not want to see gone Quatermaines specifically keeping the Webbers is also keeping the Hardy’s alive and the spencers have become a core family and the cassidines are a part of that I think giving viewers of OLTL this chance is also great way to wrap things up there and also breathe life in GH yes I have been a fan of all of the ABC soaps for 30 years plus
And it is about saving GH and if that means bringing some OLTL people in to help that’s great. We want rating to go up. I would even think it would be OK to bring some form AMC. Maybe alot of the fans from all of the soaps would start to watch. I started to watch GH again. Years ago I watch but it got a little crazy but I am hoping this will help. It is all about saving the one ABC soap
I can not wait for the the OLTL crew to go to GH . I used I used to watch GH all the time for years. 15 to be exact and it got boring. Got tired of the same old Mafia storyline. Loved the Webers, Quartermaines, Castalines, Spencers. We’ve seen families come and go. Even on OLTL. It was once the Cortantlands, and Wallingfords. Now it became the Buchananans. Spice up any soap to keep them alive. Anyone on GH who wants to be selfish and to not want another story line intertwine is just that, “Selfish” .They should be so grateful and on their hands and knees that Katie Curik’s show hasn’t caused GH to close its doors yet. Because that is the word. SO if we want to band together. We have to watch together. The TODD, Victor, Blair, storyline is great and would love to see how Alison got mixed in there. Who knows maybe Sonny had something to do with it. That would be a great mix. Welcome OLTL to GH and maybe you can spice it up a bit. Even if for just a while.:)

Would love to see Trevor St. John in General Hospital. I mean how many mob stories can you have. How many folks can threaten Sonny’s kids. People are forgetting OLTL ended because ABC was being greedy and not because these folks were terrible actors. I think fresh blood in GH will be a good thing. I am also hearing that GH might go primetime…OMG

Me too! OLTL was the best soap! They ruined my afternoons by cancelling it & now they want to throw us a bone by moving a few characters to GH! Why is John going without Natalie? They are just doing this to finish the Victor/ Todd storyline before GH gets cancelled too. That ‘s why they’re bringing back such old characters from the past. They did the same thing on AMC & OLTL before they went off.
I was raised with the OLTL casting for37 years .I miss them all so I say alittle bit of OLTL is better then none.
ok I saw that Trevor was listed as an actor on GH. then when I went back to look at what site I was it on, POOF, it was gone. I want Trevor St John on GH. What the heck was the point of showing us fans he was in fact ALIVE, if they were not going to have him return. I mean, it is pointless to have Todd go to Port Charles is he is going to be arrested to Victors murder. PLEASE ABC/GH cast TSJ. I miss him desperatly…

I like both of these guys so im stuck in the middle.and would love TO SEE THEM BOTH IN PORT CHARLES.Im glad they tuned out to be two different people instead of ,will the real todd please stand up.I loved the story of 2 todds,and would love for it to continue on general hospital with both actors.I hear alot of bitching going on that the general hospital fans dont want any characters coming over from one life to life,well Im a fan of both soaps ,and to the ones complaining, soaps bring in new families all the time,so the mannings are just a new story to be told in port charles.I hope it does work out.all I want is a little piece of a couple of my favorites people from one life to live ,Its not going to hurt the other cast members in port charles,there are several newbies that are out ,so there is room for blair ,todd ,starr and victor.I want the story of 2 todds to continue,I thought it is one of the best stories on daytime television.what a perfect ending for one life to live,to see that victor is very much alive.

Bravo! The finale’s ending was something I never expected. I will be honest, at first I thought Allison was talking to herself then I thought that dastardly Mitch had found yet another way to cheat death and perhaps he was lying there in a coma or something.
But when the camera panned over to the bed revealing that is was Victor, I have to say that I jumped up out of my seat and was literally applauding and cheering in my living room!
I have always said that the idea of two Lord brothers was too delicious and would bring near endless storyline possibilities. I hope to see Victor(Trevor St. John) on the GH canvas soon.

Agreed! That really rubbed me the wrong way. Especially given the history of the Todd Manning character, given that the majority of the time TSJ was on screen, that was the character he was supposed to have been playing. I would hope that that’s not how TSJ himself views rape (as a choice), and that this was merely a poor choice of words pertaining to the specific storyline, but even if it was, sex forced by threats of violence is still rape. And tossing in bondage jokes just makes it all the worse. Disappointing, considering the original Marty rape storyline was not portrayed as a joke. Why should male rape be viewed any less seriously? That comment really turned me off. He needs to think a bit more in the future before making such statements.
This from the man who also said his character could be sexually attracted to his own daughter/kill Viki, and who could forget “I’m all for gang rape.” I have nothing against Trevor St. John, but his perspective on Todd Manning and irreverence regarding the rape storylines are all kinds of messed up. 🙁

Anyway i guess he doesn’t take all these wacky, warped soap storylines seriously and imo he is right, soaps are fantasy when people can come back from the dead, hook up with their siblings ect..how could you take some social issues seriously come on with stories like that, it is escape not moral compass.
And to see that some soap fans remain outraged by some of these stories and not others always amaze me..
As for the interesting stuff : seems Trevor will go to GH..ha ha Trevor i have a better advise for you : try prime time, it is where the good stuff are.
Yes agree with the last few comments. Trever you are a GREAT actor!! Don’t cloud it with ignorant comments about rape! Men can be raped. There was nothing sexy about the “bondage” scene between Margret and “todd/victor jr” It was a seriouse story line showing that rape happens to both men and women.
As for Trever going to GH it could be very interesting and can’t wait to see what OLTL will bring to GH!!!
actually the way to save GH is to fire the current cast, hire stars from AMC and OLTL reprising their roles, and change the setting from Port Charles to Llanview and Pine Valley. That would get me to watch every day!! there is one exception. Michael Easton should play Caleb Morley and not John McBain because he was better as a vampire.

I think you really need to ask yourself whether you actually want to watch GH or not at all. Let’s face it, he two soaps that have done poorly over the last ten years in terms of ratings are the ones you want to turn GH into. One good year hardly negates all the bad ones.
Personally, although I love Trevor and actually think Victor is a much better match for Port Charles than Todd, I don’t want OLTLers on GH. I like that GH is “realistic” and there’s a minimum of convoluted “Irene” plotlines and cartoon (think Mitch) villians.
I definitely don’t want to see characters like Patrick or Jason ending up in places like Eterna or the old wild west. If you do, may want to ask yourself is DAYS might not be more your style. GH should not be ruined to accomodate you.
Eterna and Buchanan City were the best storylines OLTL ever did! stories like that would actually make me want to watch GH as it is. The way it is now its as boring as the chew. Bring on the convoluted Irene Manning plotlines!!!!
Umm with all due respect saying GH is the only “realistic” soap is far from accurate. Remember this is the show that gave us “Casey the Alien” and a story line about Luke saving Port Charles from being frozen from a freezing machine the Cassidines came up with. Yes granted that was a long time ago, but then so was Eterna and the old wild west.
How can you say GH is “realistic”? When have you EVER seen the mob get away with shooting up the WHOLE town & get always away with it? Even Gotti got busted! NEVER would a SON of a mobster be able to work his DADS CASE, NEVER EVER!! When have you EVER saw a person like Helana?? How many hotels or some other part of town get blown up once a year? How many people loose children once a year? GH kills kids left & right.. I don’t know ANYONE that lost a child. I do know there are people that do & have lost a child but almost everyone on GH lost a child or TWO! Come on Alan, realistic??? What town do you live in?? I love GH but OLTL will bring ratings up & keep GH on air so be happy their on or we’d have no ABC soaps left..
General Hospital will never become Pine Valley or Lllanview.They may incorportate some OLTL actors on a temporary or permanent basis. But there is no way it will ever become Llanview nor should it be.
Remember that GH was always ahead of OLTL in the ratings. OLTL only started to do better than GH in the ratings after the cancellation notice because of OLTL fans tuning back to the show to try to make ABC change its mind about the whole cancellation thing.
I use to watch Gh right after OLTL. It when the alien story began that I lost interest. Then they had the man who played the alien come back as a regular charcter who looked just ike the alien. Ugh… then I just stopped warching. At least when the Cassadines were on there was suspense. The alien story line was just boring. I know Robin has been on the show for a long time but her character is also boring. The Sopranos tyoe of theme that GH has had over the years is what has kept it more interesting to viewers… but I still have not gone back to being a fan. Unfortunately now I have been recording it and trying to get back into it since OLTL characters will be making a debut. Hopefully it is permanent. If not I will most likely tune out. It is very difficult to begin watching a soap without knowing the history and no one there to tell you. My daughter starting watching OLTL with me and I was able to ans any questions about the past and how it tied in or related to what the present story was. I also did not care for the gig rex back in time crap.
Was pleasantly surprised at the ending of OLTL. I cried, scream and jumped for joy when I saw that it was Vic JR. Read the piece he did for Soap Digest and thought he is good at keeping secrets…..guess that is one thing he has in common with his character and twin (Todd) on OLTL lol. He did such a good job at keeping his return to OLTL a secret. I wouldn’t put it pass him to be going to GH and THAT WOULD BE A GREAT THING!!!!
I would love to see him on GH for the Todd storyline! I would love to see the brothers reunite, so it can be proven Todd didn’t kill him (which we all knew that anyways based on his 1-sided flashbacks), and to see them interact more where THEIR family is concerned. Plus I think they should bring Tea on for a little bit, just so she can see Victor and then have the baby! I think she’d be grateful and completely change her mind about Todd if HE were the one to find Victor and bring him to her. And should the baby be a boy, they should name it Todd Victor Lord, in honor of both brothers!

Shouldn’t the baby be named after his father? I don’t think people tend to name their sons after their brothers, so why would it be done in this case? Especially since the brothers aren’t close. I wouldn’t mind if the brothers were close, but they are not, so this suggestion does not make sense. Soaps should have some kind of logic to them.

If you paid close enough attention to the episode where he was shot, you will know that Blair came to warn Victor that Todd might show up and that he probably has the gun that disappeared out of Dorians Safe…so he would have expected Todd to show up, however, he was completely surprised by whoever it was that did show up with a gun at his house.If it would have been Todd, he would have had no reason to be surprised.

I like Michael Easton playing John and I’m glad GH has him portraying him, as for firing all the castmembers on GH WOW! really? there are some actors on AMC and OLTL that can not act their way out of a plastic bag and if anybody should be fired from GH are the writers, they are the ones to blam for the horrible story lines
Aside from the fact that no one I talked to was surprised that Victor was alive, it was the most surprising soap finale ever.
I would love to see Trevor on GH! AMC, OLTL, & GH were always “Connected.” Some fear that GH will turn into OLTL. Don’t see it that way at all. It would be awesome if they actually combined characters from all 3 soaps on GH. GH would really be improved in my opinion.

I LOVE Trevor St. John! I was estatic that he was still alive at the end of OLTL! Trevor/Victor would be an asset to GH and they would be foolish not to take! I started watching GH in the early 70’s – most recently took some time away from GH as we had adopted a baby. I gave up AMC and GH, however, periodically check in on them but was an avid viewer of OLTL! I could not let go of my OLTL as it has been ON FIRE for some time now! The best Soap I have ever watched in my life! I would even take my phone off the hook at 2 pm till 3 pm as I did not want anyone interupting that hour! Any Actors or Actresses from OLTL will/would benefit GH immensely! Kind of a no brainer there. Don’t get me wrong, I still love GH but I am very hopeful that somehow Llanview and Port Charles come together here! I miss all of Llanview! I believe that GH can and will be saved and probably a thousand jobs at least if OLTL cast can make a transition to GH although nothing would make me happier than OLTL come back to life before all the actors/actresses are locked into long term contracts with other networks on other soaps! COME ON ABC/DISNEY – GIVE US BACK OUR SOAPS! IF YOU CANCEL GH YOU ARE GOING TO FIND YOU WILL GO DOWN IN HISTORY AS THE MOST PATHETIC NETWORK ON THE EARTH – GIVE US BACK OUR SOAPS! well they all cheated us as far as I am concerned. All of the fans love him so much, and I don’t see how he could have done this to his fans, it was intentional with out a doubt, but for us Fans, that’s why we Love him,,,,YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT TREVOR IS GOING TO DO….i would love to be there with him when he debutes…and also of course invite someone else…I’m so glad that you will be on GH…now that you have denied deniability, we will know what to expect….Thanks you all, especially the writers, whom without you, none of this would be possible….

Don’t think so he just doesn’t take all these unbelievable stories seriously and love to act in ‘risque’ outrageous twisted storylines, so much more interesting for an actor..believe me.

I would love it if Trevor went to GH! I would love to see several of the story lines moved to GH. It would really help save GH too. All of the Manning’s with their significant others should go as well as Natalie and John and if they could bring Ford back would I love to see Ford and Jessica.
I was ecstatic to see TSJ in the final scenes!!!! I had hoped and prayed he was somehow still alive … that he’d taped one last scene that we hadn’t seen yet. OLTL just wasn’t the same without him. Actually … TSJ is the reason I began watching the show. Since I didn’t watch when RH was Todd, it was upsetting to me to have him return and take the role back. Best case scenario would’ve been to have both Todd and Victor Jr on the show … so I TRULY hope TSJ will agree to play Victor on GH … at least until the story of 2 Todds is played out and we learn just how Victor was kept alive.

I think it would be phenomenal for Trevor St John to go to General Hospital!!! He is such an amazing actor and as much as I loved/hated his character, he made it so real and it was hard to watch him die off the show. I’m sure I was only one of the millions of viewers that was screaming “YES!!!!” when we saw him in the last seconds of One Life to Live.
I was screaming in Sarasota Florida !!!! I literally jumped out of my seat. To see T.S.J in the final scene!!!! I love T.S.J , he will always be My Todd. How fast everyone called him Victor. Not me !!! My Todd 🙂
I hope he does go to G.H. I watch G.H anyway, but it would be great to see our O.L.T.L. cast members there.
Would LOVE to have TSJ on GH!!! Loved the finale and loved that he kept the secret so well! I love GH and I am so happy that the writing will change and hopefully we can utilize that cast better and only make it better by adding other great actors!

This has been the most boring week ever. Ron and Frank had better do something fast with GH. It is not that good and please, please bring back OLTL. I know that the Revulsion is not going to make it.
I watched GH years & years ago when the focus was on the hospital & great characters like Steve Hardy, Jessie Brewer, Heather Weber, Audrey March/Hardy, her sister, Lucille (who was fabulous),Peter & Diana Taylor, the introduction of the Spencers and the Quartermaines. Once they brought in Sonny and refocused the entire show around him I lost interest in daily viewing…though, I would skim the synopsis in the soap publications.
Bringing over some characters from OLTL, even if briefly, may help to refocus and re-energize the show. If Ron Carlivati & Frank Valentini can turn the show around and bring in more than just “who shot Sonny” stories they have a good chance of keeping the show going for a while. Though, I truly believe that ABC/Disney have no real interest in soaps as programming and will eventually cancel GH as well. But, there is always hope…..

I too watched GH Long ago ,for many years..from the beginning….And all during Luke and laura, And for a few years of Sonny as well…I loved The Orig Carly SARAH Brown, She was great in that role…I liked Tamara braun very much in that role…and stopped watching when the last Carly took over that role…..Too much Sonny..24/7 anfd it’s all about them…..Not good……
I would Love for all of The entire Cast to come to GH…LOVE IT…i do hope that happens.

I am happy that they showed Victor is still alive. I like RH & TSJ both & think there is a lot of story that can be explored between the two brothers & would love to see them both on GH…. at least until somebody wises up & brings OLTL back.

I would love to see Trevor back on the air on a daily basis. He doesn’t have to play Victor, even though it would be nice to have that story resolved. As to him keeping his appearance a secret, face it if he had said he was returning it would have totally ruined the surprise factor of the final moments. He is an immensely talented actor and an asset to any program.
Trevor’s words on his character are appalling. Or they would be were he talking about Todd Manning. Obviously, he doesn’t get Todd and never has. It reminds me of the time he said “I’m all for gang rape.” Of course he isn’t all for gang rape, but it’s more evidence that he never took Todd’s history or the rape storyline seriously.
I agree. I don’t his appeal at all. Sure he is attractive but not anymore so than the typical soap star. The only similarity that I see between him and Todd Manning is when he has the sense of humor of a dumb frat boy. I wish the soap universe would quit indulging him. I do not want him on GH!!!!!

I am a long time ABC Soap Fan, and am happy at the thought of bringing some of the characters of Llanview into Port Charles. I have no doubt that Ron and Frank will make sure they keep the integrity of General Hospital and their core characters, while bringing in some of the Llanview flair. I liked TSJ and also think he would be a welcome addition to PC. BTW, I always adored OLTL, but found the last week to be so incredibily brilliant, although the minute we saw Allison speaking to someone, I immediately said it was Victor Jr., as I never believed he was dead, and thought that would be the best “Oh Wow” moment”! Kudos on a job so very, very well done to all those involved, and I Iook forward to the migration of some from Llanview to Port Charles!!!!!
Trevor was my favorite on OLTL. I’m not a GH viewer but I would become one if Trevor is hired. He’s a fabulous actor…..the very best the show had. By the way, I prefer when Todd/Victor was shown to be basically good but with an edge. I don’t want him to be the total creep that Roger portrays as Todd. Just sayin’.

And in a way i get him, it is much more fascinating, challenging and interesting for an actor, of course the character has to have flaws and qualities otherwise one-note villians are boring like are goodie two shoes characters..
I’ve been saying for months and months, since OLTL first let him go, that Days of Our Lives should cast him as Peter Blake! He’d be perfect! I’d love to see him sharing the screen with Joseph Mascolo and James Scott – it’d be soap dynamite!

I love Trevor St John! I live to write for him. (phyonescott.blogspot.com) He is fascinating to watch. There is a one-two punch in daytime enraptured villany: TSJ and Michael Muhney (Y&R). Love to watch both actors. The cliffhanger to end all cliffhangers! That was OLTL! When my sister called me to tell me TSJ was there at the end, I whooped at work! Couldn’t wait to get home–I had virtually stopped watching OLTL but I’d taped the finale! I was thrilled to meet and talk with TSJ at his last FAN EVENT in August. He advised us to “keep watching”. Was the finale what he meant or the loyalty to OLTL in general? I do not like GH, but if TSJ is there, I’ll view faithfully. My sister would like that. She’s a devout GH fan!

I would LOVE to see Blair and Todd end up in Port Charles, and get wise to the fact that Victor IS still alive. This would be a GREAT reason for bringing John McBain and possibly even Bo Buchanan to Port Charles to dig in to the mystery surrounding Victor, Jr. John and Bo could quickly discover the truth about Victor, Jr., and free him. Then Tomas Delgado would have ample reason for bringing Te’a to Port Charles to reunite with Victor. This would leave Todd and Blair free to go somewhere far, far away to enjoy THEIR happily ever after. And it would ALSO leave Victor and Te’a free to go somewhere far, far away to enoy THEIR happily ever after. I believe that OLTL fans MIGHT feel encouraged to follow their favorites to General Hospital IF those fans believed they would finally be able to see their favorites enjoy the Happily Ever After endings which the fans were denied by the cobbled-up finale which the Prospect Park mess saddled One Life to Live with! Then John, Bo and Tomas could remain in Port Charles to help the bumbling Port Charles Police Department end mob rule in Port Charles for good and always. For good measure, they could also invite Robert and Anna Scorpio to turn up in Port Charles to help the PCPD put some WSB gusto into the PCPD’s renewed interest in ending mob rule in Port Charles for good. Since the OLTL writers never seemed to have much of a problem with allowing their police officers to act like they still had their brains intact, the General Hospital ratings would probably shoot up over night – just because the action between the police and the mobsters would suddenly become more interesting than it has been for more than a decade now!
‘happily ever after’ with only ‘good’ guys is boring, maybe you will like it but be sure many other viewers will not and the ratings will drop again and goodbye your soap..mark my words.
I think that it is pretty obvious that General Hospital’s days are ALREADY numbered. Bringing enough OLTL viewers over to GH to give the show a modest ratings boost MIGHT buy the show a few more months on the air – but probably not many more. IF OLTL fans believe that the MIGHT be able to see the happy endings which they were cheated out of by the Prospect Park mess, that MIGHT give GH enough of a ratings boost to buy a little more time on the air. But I doubt it would be much more than a few months. It seems to me that the head honchos at the network have ALREADY decided that they want to be OUT of the soap business – entirely – and sooner, rather than later. The question is not IF General Hospital will end up being cancelled – but, rather, the major question is WHEN General Hospital will end up being cancelled. It would be great if the OLTL writers could make General Hospital at least watchable during its death throes, but they are facing a Herculean task and I am not all that convinced that they will be able to pull it off. The CBS soaps are featuring romance for Valentine’s Day. General Hospital appears to STILL be stuck in the same old rut – sending viewers a “Bloody Valentine” – and wondering WHY General Hospital keeps on losing viewers hand over fist!
I’m going to say something that some may not like. I didn’t really care for this interview and thought TSJ was kind of stand-offish. I accepted him as Todd has I didn’t have a choice, but I still think Roger Howarth was and will always be Todd.
Apparently, this is not an “indepth” interview. Sounds “on the fly to me”. Two questions answered rather quickly? I don’t think TSJ should be raked over the coals for that!
First the full interview is a bit more ‘indepth’ and long than that and secondly he is ‘raked over the coals’ only by some soaps fans who take all these stories too seriously.
You guys do realize that the reason that AMC & OLTL where canceled was cause no one watched right? They had low ratings… then they announce they will be canceled and everyone says no… and starts watching it to raise ratings. But if you had loved the show THAT much why did it take them being canceled for you to watch? I don’t think GH needs the storylines or the characters from OLTL they need NEW WRITERS.. and THEIR OWN storylines.
