Tristan Lake Leabu Cast As SORAS'd Reed Hellstrom On The Young and the Restless!

The Young and the Restless has aged Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and JT Hellstrom’s (Thad Luckinbill) son to a teenager.
According to Serial Scoop, soap newcomer Tristan Lake Leabu will be taking over the role most recently played by Max Page. As fans know, Page joined the show in 2009, but left in 2012 and again in 2015 to have heart surgery.
Last month the CBS soap opera put out a casting call for the role of “Wes” who was described as a good-natured, willful and sensitive teen, who takes solace in playing his guitar.
The role was said to have begun taping a few weeks ago on November 15th.
Leabu took to Instagram on November 30 showing him walking into the CBS Television City where Y&R tapes.
His other credits include: Superman Returns, The Christmas Spirit and Hawaii-Five-O

It looks like the current run of Lucas Adams (Noah) and Tamara Braun (Sienna) on The Young and the Restless is coming to an end, after the Monday, August 3 edition of the CBS daytime drama revealed that Noah and Sienna are leaving Genoa City and heading back to Los Angeles.
In the storyline, Noah informed his mother, Sharon (Sharon Case) and half-sister Mariah (Camryn Grimes) that he and Sienna made the decision to move back to the West Coast to put distance between themselves and Matt Clark (Roger Howarth). Although Noah did not say it was a permanent move, he did assure his mom that once Matt is hopefully gone from Genoa City they could return.
However, as previewed already on the video teaser for this week’s episodes of Y&R (see below), it appears Noah left Genoa City’s The Shadow Room to be run by a returning Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian). So with that, coupled with today’s episode, it would appear the move could wind up being more permanent.

COMINGS AND GOINGS
Adams made his Y&R debut on November 4, 2025 as the successor to Rory Gibson who last played Noah on-screen in April of 2023. Earlier in 2025, Gibson took over the role of Michael Corinthos on Genera Hospital replacing Chad Duell, who stepped away from the part after 15 years.
Braun who played Adam’s mother on Days of Our Lives when she was Ava Vitali and he was Tripp Dalton, first appeared on Y&R back on October 14, 2025, where we soon learned she had become Noah’s lover as the new character, Sienna Bacall. It should be noted, Adams was on contract with the number #1 soap, while Braun has been on recurring status.
With Josh Griffith now exited as head writer of The Young and the Restless, and the newly announced co-head writing team of Jamey Giddens and Dan O’Connor having taken his place and starting their new tenure this week, it will be interesting to see how the duo resets the show, and if a Noah and Sienna return is in the cards for the future or not.

Rosie O’Donnell revealed that she plans to head back to a seat at the table of ABC’s morning talk show The View.
The announcement came during Monday’s episode of The Tangle Podcast where she shared she will participate in “in whatever way they want” her or “just as a guest” for its upcoming 30th season.
The View’s season 30 will kick-off this fall in September. O’Donnell explained, “They’re bringing back all the hosts, I think. And, you know, I’m pretty proud of that show, what it’s become and how it really speaks to the people and to politics.”

ROSIE ON HER PREVIOUS GO-ROUNDS ON THE VIEW
As fans of The View know, O’Donnell famously had two different one-year stints on the talk show in 2007 and again in 2014- 2015. She often feuded with then co-host Elizabeth Hasselbeck.
However, during her discussion with host, Kyle Ridley on The Tangle Podcast, O’Donnell also noted she often had tense moments with longtime moderator and anchor, Whoopi Goldberg.
O’Donnell also expressed, “Many, many people got the short end of the stick there. It was, you know, it was a factory where people were being churned in and out and their tenuous security, nobody got to be calm. It also was a show at the time that was run by a man. A show created by a woman, for women, about women, and the man was deciding what we should talk about. And that didn’t sit right with me, you know.”
Back in 2023, Brooke Shields had asked Rosie on her podcast, Now What? with Brooke Shields, about how she felt on her two stints at The View and all the controversy that surrounded it. Rosie at that time, stated, “I know this, it’s not the best use of my talent to get in a show where I have to argue and defend basic principles of humanity and kindness. It was not something I’d ever do again.”

I know they are brother and sister. I was referring to the fact that the writers did not take the time to build up the characters so that they would be strong enough to drive story as the next generation Newmans.

I’ll be honest, I was observing how much he resembles Thad Luckinbill and Amelia, esp since they are married off the show and they do have children together !! I loved to hear Thad sing and play his guitar and I hope Reed does the same!!
He was born in 2001 so perfect aging /Kay Alden at work lets rock and roll the kid also plays the quitar just like his dad JT / Thad luckinbill who as JT I miss so much he and Colleen were so great! I am excited she is going to bring characters and their off soribg back to the xanvas

I guess they are going to regroup a new teen set and he is first on the list. I wonder if company for him is soon to follow. I also wonder if he is going to reconnect with Billy. I remember Reed and Billy bonded over video games back in the day. I always thought Faith and Reed were close in age. I hope they don’t age her anytime soon. She is such a terrific little actress. But this “newbie” they found, in my opinion bears a strong resemblance to Victoria. Let’s see what he can do. Maybe this will draw attention away from the GC Buzz. We can only hope. Well now Victor has another Newman he can sink his meathooks into. Let’s see how quickly it will take Reed to turn on him like everyone else

I think I am a little excited to hear of this. I figure if he’s Victoria’s son then that means he’s got Newman blood in him which means it gives Victor somebody new to play with. This could take us into some good story but I would like it more if Thad Luckinbill came back as JT from time to time (or for good).

I appreciate the SORAS of Reed, as it’s about time his character be a staple on the canvas; however, this is something about Tristan Lake Leabu that seems off-putting to me.
Am hoping Reed’s arrival will give Victoria Newman some better focus. I have not liked her character for some time. Seems she and Billy finally got together and writers upended that before it really took root. I would love to see a strong woman, mother, and businesswoman who defies the Newman ways. I would like to see Victoria and Nick be more contrary to Victor and Nikki. I like to see the strong siblings if we can never have a solid marriage anchor the show. And, no, Victor and Nikki have not a strong marriage. It is almost laughable anymore, thanks to the writers of the last 15 years.

i wish they would bring adam newman back on the show . he is the reason why some people watch the young and the restless to see adam newman. adam is most of people’s favorite character. he belongs with chelsea and his son connor and his family. since adam is gone his brother nick is with chelsea and connor. travis crawford broke victoria’s heart. he cheated on her. victoria’s ex told her that her boyfriend cheated on her. travis is a jerk . he should stay away from victor newman’s daughter victoria. i want her and billy back together. billy and victoria belong together more than her with travis. he’s a lier and a cheating jerk. victoria deserves better than travis. i hope they find a actor to play adam newman. he is my favorite character. they should have michael muhney back as adam newman or find somone else to play him. Adam is NOT coming back. The writers don’t want to deal with that character for a while to come. As for Michael Muhney it seems he went the route of Victoria Rowell as far as CBS is concerned same for Ronnie Moss Ridge on B&B. Yes no matter how popular you can be replaced and/or blacklisted even in the soap industry. A big ego makes for a null back account if you go out all types of wrong.

Beverly Reed was born in 2007 and Faith 2009! Don’t worry now that the little brat is moving in with Grandma the drunk and Grandpa Satan they will send her off to boarding school. Those two aren’t fit to raise a cat with all their baggage.
