Tristan Rogers heads back to The Young and the Restless!

Many fans who were hoping for more “face” time for Tristan Rogers, when he recently returned to General Hospital as Robert Scorpio, in the face of his daughter Robin’s “death”, will see him again soon, but back in Genoa City!
CBS Soaps In Depth is confirming via Rogers, that the popular actor is heading back to The Young and the Restless, and that he will be back taping some scenes as Colin ( Cane’ dad and Genevieve’s long time flame) in early April that will air later this spring.
Tristan informed SID, “This is a two part thing. I go back briefly to set the scene and then you don’t see me again for quite a while.”

Mark Consuelos Celebrates Kelly Ripa’s 56th Birthday on ‘Live,’ But Remember When Wendy Williams Outed the Couple as Married Before Anyone at ‘All My Children’ Knew?
On the Friday, October 2 episode of Live with Kelly and Mark, the morning talk show marked the 56th birthday of Kelly Ripa (ex-Hayley Vaughan Santos, All My Children).
During the opening segment, Mark Consuelos (ex-Mateo Santos, All My Children) humorously comparing his wife to both Gandhi and Groucho Marx, reflecting on both her comedic ability and peaceful ways.
Later, they went on to discuss the origins of her name and the most popular picks to name babies back in the year she was born, 1970. They were Kimberly, Lisa, and Jennifer for girls and Michael, David, and James for the boys.
WHAT’S IN A NAME?
Ripa recalled that she learned she was almost named Kim. However, their neighbors at the time had two daughters Kelly and Kim, which is what her parents wanted to call them, but they settled on Kelly and and her younger sister, Linda.
At the conclusion of the episode, Mark rolled out a huge cake for his wife. It was, “Happy birthday from all of us here at Live and at home.” Next, he cut the cake, and Ripa grabbed his face and gave him a “thank you” kiss.

KELLY AND MARK TRIED TO KEEP THEIR VEGAS WEDDING ON THE DOWN LOW
All of this brings back memories of how Kelly and Mark’s Las Vegas wedding ceremony went public in 1996 while the two were still on All My Children playing Mateo Santos and Hayley Vaughan. In essence, they were outed by then radio host Wendy Williams! They discussed it on the talk show back in 2024.
In fact, the duo hid their marriage from their All My Children castmates for months, until they found out Williams got wind of the nuptials and spread the intel on the airwaves.
The two recalled their secret wedding on a 2024 episode of Live! “We’d eloped. It’d been a few months at that point. We’d been married for three months, nobody at All My Children knew we were even dating, much less married to each other. We’re brushing our teeth and we’ve got Wendy Williams’ radio show on. We’re listening, and she’s like, ‘I’ve got celebrity dish!”
EYEWITNESS
Next Ripa continued, “The celebrities,’ I guess they had a broad use of the term back then, was the fact that ‘two soap stars from All My Children, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos eloped in Las Vegas.’ There was this eyewitness that worked in the Clark County courthouse that said we eloped, and the news broke, and we had to tell everybody we were married.”

TUNE-IN: ‘Beyond the Gates’ Banneker Homecoming Episodes, EP Sheila Ducksworth Speaks on Impact HBCUs Have in Real Life
As previously reported, kicking off today, is a two-part Beyond the Gates, when The Duprees gather to celebrate Banneker University’s homecoming weekend.
The producers and writers are taking an opportunity to spotlight the rich traditions of the long-held tradition of attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) through its fictional university.
The episodes are today on CBS and stream on Paramount+ on Friday, October 2 and next week on Monday, October 5, where in true Beyond the Gates fashion, there will be some surprising drama that ensues when someone shows up!

BANNEKER REFLECTS THE IMPORTANCE OF HBCUS
Sheila Duckworth, (executive producer, Beyond the Gates) spoke to Soaps.com to give some insight on the decision for the series to illustrate the ties that bind with HBCUs.
“It was important that we have this school as almost a character on our canvas, right from the beginning. Beyond even education, HBCUs have been pivotal when it comes to everything from economic progression and fostering a sense of community to the development of leadership skills,” explained Ducksworth. “From the beginning, we wanted to illustrate that what the Duprees are able to do in the world was a direct reflection of the impact HBCU’s have in real life.”
EVERYTHING HAS ITS PURPOSE
The EP talked about how purposeful the elements that integrate Banneker into the overall story of Beyond the Gates are including: the Dupree family door knocker that is a lion, the mascot for the fictional university, plus, the upcoming fight song that the cast will sing together on the Monday, October 5 episode, and the painting the hangs at Fairmont Crest.
That portrait of Vernon Dupree’s (Clifton Davis) father, George Cheeks Dupree, that hangs prominently at the country club, was named after CBS executive George Cheeks (now Chairman of TV and Media, Paramount), and as Ducksworth says of the legacy of Vernon’s father, “He was the architect of Fairmont Crest.”

Days Of Our Lives
‘General Hospital’ Alum Tajh Bellow Fills In for ‘Days of our Lives’ Tyler Joseph Andrews in the Role of Theo Carver
After an earlier post on Thursday, October 1 about General Hospital alumni Tajh Bellow’s (ex-TJ Ashford) upcoming project from Issa Rae’s HOOPAE Digital, comes word that Bellow is temporarily stepping into the role of Days of our Lives Theo Carver to fill in for Tyler Joseph Andrews on the Peacock streaming soap opera.
According to TV Insider, Bellow will be making a one-day appearance next week on the October 6 episode of DAYS as Andrews was unable to make the tape date that was shot 10 months ago on a day last December. Andrews (pictured below) took over the role of Theo in September of 2025.
In Bellow’s upcoming episode as Theo, he will share scenes with Cherie Jimenez (Gabi Hernandez). A DAYS spokesperson tells the outlet that Bellow “stepped seamlessly into the role, and the cast and crew were grateful for his professionalism and commitment, albeit for only one episode.”

TAJH WILL BE SEEN IN MULTIPLE PROJECTS IN OCTOBER
As General Hospital fans know, Tajh played the role of TJ Ashford from 2018 to his last appearance in December of 2024. Along the way, he received two Daytime Emmy nominations for his performances as TJ, the last being in 2025 in the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Daytime Drama Series category.
In addition, bellow along with Y&R alum Loren Lott will be seen starting on October 14 in the new Love Island spoof series, The Compatibility Experiment. The show will drop exclusively on TikTok and the PineDrama platform.
The Compatibility Experiment gives a satirical look at reality dating shows, think Love Island! The story centers around Kelvin (Bellow) and Camila (Lott), whose relationship is put to the test when they join a reality show to try to win a the million dollar prize.

I heard at ghh ,that frank says there will be a surprise like every 2 weeks In port charles ,and he also said that he wasnt hired by abc/disney to end general hospital like alot of people are saying , he never would have moved to the west coast,Looks like robert isnt coming back,I didnt think so ,I hope anna is staying,I would like to hear if she is coming or going .
I’m glad he’s heading back to a show (Y&R) that respects him. I just wish GH would do the same. Robert Scorpio is my all-time favorite character and I want to see a decent ending for the character. I want him to find Robin, find out that Ethan is his son and have more than a few scenes with Holly, Anna and Luke that are more in character. I hope Valentini and Carvilati bring RXS back and do him justice.

Well, naturally want to see more Robert ,the way they left thing with Robert was just plain wrong, so I want him back, but I am a Tristan Rogers and will followed him anywhere. I love Colin/Jill so I hope whatever he’s doing in GC will involve her.
I’m glad he is returning to Y & R but I’m very disappointed in GH for not keeping him on GH longer. I’m also disappointed they way his storyline was written for him. Been a loyal fan of GH for over 30 years, I was wanted more of Robert & Anna.
Glad he is still employed but I love Robert Scorpio so much better than Colin!
If he’s only returning to be “Cane’ dad and Genevieve’s long time flame” I don’t care. He was great with Cane but the real magic was with Jess Walton/ Jill.
I haven’t watched Y&R for over 30 years to see Laura and Scorpio re-unite as different characters either. What I have been waiting for is for Jill – an 39 year character of the show-to find her man. So if Y&R plans to bring him back as some one dimensional evil doer, so Cane can rescue Laura , I won’t watch.
The writers rewriting of an the head of an Australian organized crime group to an Afghanistan drug lord in his last week on the show was a JOKE. What’s next clones?

Anybody that remembers the real Robert Scorpio would have to say that he belongs in Port Charles! He was the heartbeat of that show for almost a decade! Why do I feel like tptb forget this? I wish someone would give us an explanation as to WHY they haven’t signed him to a long term contract. It just doesn’t make sense. Does anyone out there know why? Unless they plan on surprising us?? They seem to have embraced Finola which is great…but why not Tristan? The fans want him! I only came back because of the Scorpios returning! In the meantime, watch youtube for Anna and Robert clips if you want to watch great stories! So much fun!
Robert Scorpio was definitely the heartbeat that kept GH pumpimg all through the 80s and early 90s but the writers/producers doesn’t seems to understand that..They’re showcasing everybody but the one and only Robert Xavier Scorpio..Why won’t they put it to a test..Bring Robert back, write him in character and let him do his thing.

Even though there are tons of storylines at Y&R, I’m happy to see him return. I thought it a mistake to let him go in the first place. I like him and Jill together and they have a good story going.
It makes absolutely no sense what so ever, for Robert to have left under the circumstances he did. Robert Scorpio is a living Legend on GH and I am furious about the way his character was written, and then written off! Bringing back Finola is such a blessing, but Tristan needs to be there as well. He belongs on GH period!
Amen! RXS is my all-time favorite. I tuned back into GH just to see his return and was disappointed that I quickly tuned back out as soon as he walked out the door. TR is tremendous but the writer’s at GH continue to disrespect the character of Robert so for that reason I am happy to watch Colin again on Y&R. Someone over at GH needs to realize that Robert never was a deadbeat dad, that was all Guza’s doing, and bring back the REAL Robert Scorpio before I tune in again!

I love Colin with Jill. Y&R ‘s writing is better than GH’s, and I think he’ll stand more of a chance at Y&R than he does at GH. Besides, for TR’s sake, he better stay on Y&R…hopefully it will be the last to go (over never go)…anyway, excited for more Colin. I just hope he’s not some ridiculous one dimensional villain just to move the plot along. I like the witty, sexy, flirtacious Colin that was with Jill. I loved those comedic scenes with Colin and Katherine and the Governor at Chancellor Estates. Tristan Rogers had a lot of gold stuff on Y&R. Too bad the rest of the show sucked at the time so it made it kind of hard to realize it. But the show seems to be stabilizing now as far as writing, so I’m really excited!!!
I love the multi dimensional character of Colin that Tristan has created…love him even more with Emmy winning actress Jess Walton. The two are a power house of talent and have a lot of story yet to tell. Not sure about ABC current use of him very dissapointed in his limited appearance and not being there for his daughters funeral. I like to think they have more of a story for him the way they set the story up….but have been dissapointed in the past with ABC..We’ll see. Cant wait to see him back in GC.

So that being said, OF COURSE, I would love to see him do double duty on BOTH shows (but that would be a lot of bouncing between his blonde hair for Colin and brown for Robert) now that I am back to supporting GH full time and have been watching Y&R faithfully for many years now.
That news makes me sad. I was soooo hoping tptb on GH would wake up and listen to the fans clamoring for Tristan to return to Port Charles. I want Robert back with Anna and Luke!!

Was so thrilled to hear he was returning to GH and tuned in to see him again play this iconic character alongside Anna Devane another icon. Unfortunately I was utterly shocked in how the character was portrayed , the miniscule amount of screentime and the how ultimately the ridiculous story played out.
I hope the new regime wises up and realizes his return brought them their only ratings increase since taking over . I want him to return to GH but only if we get the real Robert Scorpio. Anyone who knows GH history, knows that the one who showed up last month was not him.
I’ll watch him on Y&R but one of my all time favorite characters is Robert Scorpio so naturally I wish they would have kept him longer!!! And that his character would have attended his daughter’s funeral!!! And that he’d be returning to GH!!!! My all time favorite soap!!!!!
I like the actor, but I feel bad for all these abc actors moving to Y&R because MAB doesn’t know how to write for the core Y&R cast, much less all this extra talent coming onboard.
I’d love to see Tristan back as a regular on Y&R, he was great as Colin. The show needs a main villain rather than just have characters that just get in trouble.
oh my goodness, good old Tristen go back to Y&R again.. but when he will be on the air again this time, I know he left PC on March 8,2012. I followed him whenever I go..lol..b/c he’s my favorite idol since 1981 and still kept going going going..lol…
it is so hard for me to decide – i love both robert scorpio & colin atkinson… i must say i was not happy with the return of robert on gh – it just seemed so out of character for him………………………..i am looking forward to tristen coming back on y&r as colin………….
Oh, boy what mess does MAB have lined up for him now? I watched this show one day this week and FF thru all of it, until this bunch is gone all the Tristan Roger returns won’t help. So sad!!!
