Tuesday's One Life to Live: Matthew Looks For Michelle, Viki's Life Implodes, Natalie Finds Out Who Filed A Restraining Order Against John!

Courtesy/T"OLN
Tuesday’s episode of One Life to Live was jam-packed with story and so let’s do a quick general review and recap! If you haven’t watch today’s show yet, this may contain some light spoilers!
Matthew goes to Toronto all set to meet his Internet girlfriend Michelle, but when he gets there, things don’t turn out as well as he expected! Natalie becomes unglued when she comes to find out who is behind the restraining order on John to see their son, Liam. Jeffrey had some very disturbing news for Viki, who is reeling from another reveal, which may cause a huge rift in the Viki/Clint relationship and Dani tells Jack not to ever take drugs.
Meanwhile, Tea and Blair come together to look at the tattoo emblemed invitation they found which has a laundry list of family members who are connected to Victor Jr. The ladies feel all of the lives on the list are in danger, especially after Blair was shot at Shelter.
Watch today’s episode of One Life to Live after the jump! Then, let us know, what is your favorite storyline? What is working for you? What would you like to see more or less of?
Very Happy the Natalie, John, Liam storyline is picking up. Bring it on and try to get Michael Easton to come on as John McBain, but I’d be ok with a recast!
I think John’s going have to recast, Howarth is the only one out of the three who worked something out. I think recasting might be a good thing.
This was the best episode of One Life to Live. No cursing and good storytelling. I think we’re about to see the real One Life to Live. It felt like it did on ABC. I’m excited about it’s potential and with the new writers, I am more confident we’ll see good storylines.
I stopped watching a couple of weeks ago. It was too painful to watch! Good to hear it is improving…I may have to check it out again.
Too bad for you Daisy. Great show.
I aggree Bryon, less cursing. Lets get back to how it once was. Bad language doesn’t make a show good! OLTL I love you dearly. God Bless
I agree with Bryon! It felt like the OLTL I came to like so much and the stories also.
Really enjoyed that episode a lot. It was like a BLAST from the past! OLTL ROCKS!
Yes, finally, the moment we’ve all been waiting for. I loved how Natalie let Clint have it about sending John the restraining order in her name. I also liked how Viki expressed her disapproval of Clint’s actions. The outdoor scenes with Matthew were nice. Now, all we need are more episodes per week, continued support from the fans, and a possibility of returning to TV. Let’s keep these storylines going and do hope we can continue to see Todd and Victor return. I know Roger Howarth is doing GH as a new character, Franco, so it won’t be as much. I also want to see John return, they keep mentioning him, so let’s bring him back, more than likely as a recast. This character is important. Want to see Starr Manning and Jessica.
Loving OLTL!
Im glad that natalie was not the one 2 file the restraining order.
I liked today’s episode. I want to see more of Natalie, Viki, and Clint. I hope this doesn’t break up Viki and Clint as they are my favorite couple on the show. I also miss Jessica and hope that someday she is brought back.
I definitely miss Jessica and want her home.
Yeah! She isn’t even mentioned!
really weird they don’t ever mention Jessica and think I’ve only heard Star mentioned once in passing…. even if they are casted, they’re still characters important to the story. They should be mentioned and often.
Great episode. I think they have found the groove. AND they fixed Tea’s door so it opens the right way, lol.
I’m more interested in her walls.
Great show.. what would be great is if IT WAS ON AT LEAST 4 DAYS A WEEK!!! Or are they still trying to sell us that people can’t handle that much OLTL and AMC..LOL.. it’s a laugher! I just hope they are able to find a partner on cable to show the repeats in september, so they can get another source of income and go back to 4 days per show again.
Yes it would be nice to have it 4 days a week but that’s not going to happen for awhile. They have some negotiations with the unions to iron out and are on hiatus til August(production not the shows).Hopefully it will all be settled by Summer’s end.
I do find it easier to keep up with 2 shows each, but I wouldn’t mind catching up to the usual 4 or 5.The shows are great to have back.
I agree Scott – lovin’ OLTL however I can get it. Just because they are on hiatus doesn’t mean they’ll be showing repeats Scott. I believe they have plenty of shows til it’s over with – as long as they get the union thing straightened out.
I’m sorry not Scott but AJ, I don’t believe there will be repeats.
They finally fixed Tea’s door – it opens inward now……
Anyone notice Dorians door yet???
The doors opening out drove me crazy!
The doors have been driving me crazy too. Hope they fixed Dorian’s too.
Saw Thursday’s episode. Dorian’s door still opens outward. Hope they fix that.
And by the end of the show – when Shawn showed up with the kids – it opened – inward.
Way to go !
Finally, it felt more like the OLTL i remember…and it is better without the cursing and this episode proves it! I may stick with it if this keeps up!
I have been watching all along. But Tues,.episode was very special like it was all those years it was on the t.v. Maybe the new writers are getting back on track with the good stories which made OLTL so popular and will be again! That Tues. episode was exciting and made you want more! And you can’t wait to see it again…. And proves the cursing isn’t necessary! OLTL has alway’s been my #1
favorite soap. Can’t wait till Thurs. episode!
It was the best episode since going online!
It was a solid classic One Life To Live episode today. Bravo !
I TOTALLY AGREE!
I don’t understand why all this complaining over a few cuss words. They aren’t a big deal and that does happen in real life. It’s not like it’s a show for children. It’s a adult show with adult themes like sex, murder, kidnapping, etc. It seems unrealistic to me that your fine with all that but your sensitive to a few words. That’s where you draw the line. Not at drug use or near nudity but words. I have a problem with storylines and missing key actors that I watched the show to see. I’m not saying they should just cuss without reason but sometimes the situation calls for something more that “Oh darn!”
I know for me, I watch usually while eating diner…. and was so turned off hearing “sh t” all the time !
It wasnt a few words…sh.t was used 6 times in the first episode which was a little too much…sometimes id like to watch during my break while a volunteer at school…but its hard to listen to there with the cursing so i had to stop watching at the school. Same problem at the library with a kid sitting next to me. Soaps are watched by people of all ages including children…i started with Peyton Place when i was 4 and got hooked at age 6 with Dark Shadows…then DOOL,AW and several others. Soaps attracted people of all ages and thats how the survived for decades but now when we make them ‘too adult’ we push our children out of the room which takes away some from ever viewing soaps which costs them future fans. They pushing the envelope for racier sex scenes and more graphic violence is just as upsetting to some as the curse words. I doubt feel soaps should go back to the 1950s storytelling(but some was good) but lets keep it at least at a pg 13 level so the next generation can watch and keep our soaps running for many years to come.
UGH! my spelling!
Loved every second today. Hope we are finally going to learn the meaning behind the circular symbol.
Have they said where Jessica is? And really, Viki has t be worth $100 mil. This investment will not kill her. The Lords have always been portrayed as old old money. And they’ve lived like it too.
Hope the cursing is over. It was wrecking the show. Good writing doesn’t need it.
I agree about your comment about the cursing! It isn’t necessary to curse . Like
you said when there’s good writing. OLTL was so good without ant foul language when it was on the t.v. and they don’t need it now!
When are we going to see a Catfight between VIKI AND Dorian bring it on
When Vicki finds out what Dorian did, and vicki loses all her money, Vicki will rip her apart, I will be waiting for this to. I agree with you Fran, BRING IT ON.
I MISS BOTH STARR AND JESSICA AND OTHERS. KEVIN, JOEY, KELLY, JOHN SYKES, WILL RAPPAPORT, LINDSEY RAPPAPORT. AND SAM AND BEN. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE SOPHIA PELLGREINO BACK TOO. I HAD LOVED BO AND CLINT FOR YEARS AND I STILL DO. IT SUCKED WHEN HUGH WAS KILLED OFF. I LOVED HUGH HUGHES. SAME WITH JARED BANKS. THAT IS THE BOZOO NO NO. HAVING HIM KILLED OFF.
I THINK THAT MATTHEW IS WASTING HIS TIME WITH MICHELLE . I THINK HE SHOULD REALIZE WHO HE IS IN LOVE WITH. WE ALL KNOW WHO THAT IS. ( STARR MANNING) MATTHEW AND STARR HAS AN LONG TIME FRIENDSHIP. MATTHEW HAS MORE COMMON WITH STARR. I THINK THAT MICHELLE IS HANNAH’S SISTER. THEY DO LOOK LIKE EACH OTHER. STARR IS ALWAYS THERE FOR MATTHEW THAN MICHELLE. STARR WAS THERE FOR HIM WHILE HE WAS IN HIS COMA AFTER THE ACCIDENT.. STARR WAS WORRIED ABOUT HIM WHEN HE WAS KIDNAPPED BY TROY. AND THERE FOR HIM WHEN SAM RAPPAPORT AND JEN AND ASA HAD DIED.. IF I WERE MATTHEW I WOULD TELL MICHELLE TO GET LOST AND NEVER COME BACK. .
I HATE MICHELLE I WANT HER KILLED OFF.
IT WAS A BOZO NO NO WHEN ROGER HOWARTH CAME AS TODD. I LOVED TREVOR ST. JONH BEST.
I WOULD LIKE TO SEE NATALIE KILLED OFF AND BRING BACK JESSICA.

‘General Hospital’s’ Steve Burton Shares Reaction to His Lead Actor Daytime Emmy Nomination, ‘It Was to Honor Leslie Charleson’

The 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Award nominations kicked-off on Monday with the announcements of four major categories including, Outstanding Lead Performer in a Daytime Drama Series — Actor, and among the nominees is General Hospital’s Steve Burton (Jason Morgan).
Burton is already a two-time Daytime Emmy winner in the Supporting Actor category for his roles as GH’s Jason and his turn as Dylan McAvoy on Y&R. However, Steve is yet to win in the Lead Actor category and he has received 11 nominations along the way in his daytime career.
Following the reveal that he is a 2026 Daytime Emmy nominee, he and his GH co-star, podcast co-host and comedy show partner, Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) taped a special edition of their That’s Awesome podcast just featuring Burton’s reaction to the news.

FOR LESLIE CHARLESON
Steve expressed, “I know it’s such a cliche to say, ‘I’m just so honored to be nominated.’ But truly, I’m so grateful to be nominated, so grateful to just be on the show off and on for 30 plus years and to be nominated with the guys in my category. Just to get the opportunity. Frank (Valentini, executive producer, GH) texted me right away. I was just like, ‘Thank you for the opportunity to get to do what I do.'”
Taking in the moment, Burton thanked those who helped him select the material for his nominated reel. “Unless you win, you don’t get to say things. So. I’m going just say a few things: Elizabeth Korte (co-head writer, GH) helped me a lot with the material, (as did) Michelle Henry, who’s a producer on the show, Laura Wright (Carly, GH), and then my wife Michelle (Lundstrom). I believe it was Jill Phelps who told me that when A Martinez felt like he had a great show or great scenes, he would mark it down. So, when Emmy time comes, you have all the show numbers written down, and you don’t have to think about it, because that’s half the battle (finding the material).
Burton explained how meaningful this nomination is for him, because of playing the scenes of Jason losing Monica, and his closeness with the late, great Leslie Charleson.
“The nomination’s an amazing thing, and it’s beautiful, but really it’s to honor Leslie Charleson. A lot of my material was because of her, and how I started on the show as a Quartermaine, it just means a ton,” shared Burton. “Maurice Benard (Sonny, GH) has obviously has been instrumental, and I’ve said it from day one and I’ll shout it from the rooftops. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be here, and to be working with the people that we work with is incredible.”

SHOULD JOHN OLIVER BE NAMED HOST OF THE DAYTIME EMMYS?
During the end of his conversation with Anderson, Steve suggested that the host of the Daytime Emmy should be Last Week Tonight’s John Oliver, who recently guest starred as the head of the WSB named Z on General Hospital, and is soon to show up on Days of Our Lives in a mystery role in August.
Thus far, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has not revealed their host for the upcoming ceremony to be held on October 30 in a venue to be named in Hollywood, California.
You can watch Steve sharing his reaction to receiving his 2026 Lead Actor Daytime Emmy nomination below on a special segment on the That’s Awesome podcast.
Now let us know, are you glad that Steve chose scenes surrounding Jason mourning the loss of the woman that raised him, Monica Quartermaine for his Emmy reel? What do you think of John Oliver as a suggestion to host the Daytime Emmys? Weigh-in via the comment section below.
