WATCH: Kelly Sullivan's Entrance On The Young and the Restless!

Courtesy/CBS
Today was the day that Kelly Sullivan fans, and those of The Young and the Restless, got to see their gal in action, (just for a little bit) for the first time in her new role as Sage Warner.
In the set-up, as emotional Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) says goodbye to Adam Newman in the church, and reveals that she is moving on with her heart and her life with none other than Adam’s nemesis Billy Abbott (Burgess Jenkins), she leaves behind something that Adam gave her in their second wedding.
As she leaves, the doors to the church swing open and in walks a cloaked woman, who grabs the item, and then looks up into the camera revealing herself as Kelly Sullivan … Y&R’s Sage!
Watch the entrance of Kelly after the jump! Then, let us know what you think Sage is up to? Who is this mystery woman? Comment below!
echoes of the Woman in White – just saying… Hope I’m proven wronger than wrong
Yup Angel #2 JFP is so predictable
I want this new Adam with Sharon.
I don’t care what she is up to. I just want to see her, and maybe hear her next time.
Skye Lockhart in disguise?
I still say Skye is out there somewhere. She had a lot of fire to her. No volcano is going to take her down! Yeah, this Sage character could be Skye with plastic surgery. She may not have died in that volcano but got burned badly. She would definitely help Adam. I know, this is more of a GH plot!
I agree Skye is alive somewhere. You could be right about her being Sage. To bad Adam (Michael) will not be returning-don’t think he can be replaced easily.
OMG I hope so! Skye was badass lol. Gone are the days of those storylines 🙁
Cool…this show has some of the best actors…it dark, mysterious, exciting and fun…its not real…its a soap and very entertaining…some fans take it too seriously…just set back and enjoy…O.M.G.!!! I sound just like suOOOO…lol
Ahha haaa!!
yah..
Like jimh said;
‘don’t take it seriously, its fun entertainment, just enjoy!! it aint real!
(( I like the way jimh thinks, yup!! 🙂
Well, Su, you and jimh ARE my entertainment….I love you guys….
lol Sage needs better shoes they fit horribly, her toes weren’t fully covered haa hate when i see that/an irk ..
the name ‘Sage’
wonder if they’ll use her to smudge the bad spirits out of GC.. ahha
Anyways.. she acts similar to Michael/phillis.. so that us good ..
I really liked Kate/Connie on GH.. she gave great performances..
You are correct about the word/name “Sage”. Twice in two days it was used. Anita said to Chelsea, “Just wave some sage around this place (the apartment she shared with Adam)” and cleanse it …to share it now with Billy.
Good catch 🙂
Toe cleavage is considered to be a very sexy thing.
very pretty lady . Enjoyed her on GH . Hopefully the writing will do her justice
GH screwed up royally by letting Kelly get away.
That they did. You know when they keep bringing them back as ghosts that they screwed up major league. I hope Y&R will have more sense and give her a good story line. She has great chemistry with everyone.
Agreed wholeheartedly. On the other hand, Kelly Sullivan is way too good for the writing on GH these days.
here, here
gavel
yesterday’ ep : showing Sonny “talk” to Connie, as he’s visiting “Jake” / Jason
makes ME like Sonny !
he is so naturally , for lack of a better word, Alive
and, now, here she is…. in Genoa City
Oye!
what is the word, on Ashley…. is she doing any thing on Y&R yet?
I love these ladies
Kelly Sullivan is amazing !
Absolutely. I had always thought that Carly was Sonny’s true other half until KS started playing Kate/Connie. Their scene in the crypt shows that she was it – love Carly, but GH screwed up on that front.
Can’t wait to see her in Y&R.
I absolutely loved Kelly Sullivan as Connie/Kate. Kelly is a remarkable actress! GH’s lost is Y&R’s gain. I really liked the friendship she had developed with Tracy. Unfortunately, you dont’ see many “friendship” type scenes anymore-like in the 80’s with Luke and Robert, the 90’s with Brenda and Lois and Brenda and Ned. Best of luck to Kelly in her new role!
So true…
At least we got to see Kelly/Connie appear to Sonny in the Quartemaine (sp?) crypt to be his moral compass. Albeit with dark hair…I like her with blond better. Wish they hadn ‘t killed her off.
I am glad Kelly Sullivan is back on TV and gainfully employed, but I have to say, if Burgess Jenkins’ “Billy” says “Chels” one more time, I think I am going to scream.
GH ,did screw up ,this at least is one of few decent things Y&R HAS DONE, HOPE the writters do her justice.THINK shes someone who has been helping Adam ,hopefully she’s not Skye .think she put the flower on Dee’s memorial after Billy left it.KELLY SULLIVAN IS GREAT.
Since we don’t know anything about her, it’s kinda wasted. The grand entrance.
Totally agree, Mo.
Just a weird scene.
I think it’s a safe bet she works for Adam, why else would she be interested in Chelsea? I am glad to see Kelly bak onscreen and I hope the writers and producers are going to give her scenes worthy of her amazing talents and beauty.
Sage is my new favorite herb! GH may have gotten two of Y&R’s finest actors BUT Y&R got Kelly Sullivan and she is gold!
I’d rather have Billy Miller back.
You should see him on GH. His million dollar smile and his ability to shine with ALL his new co-workers is unbelievable and it really makes you wonder why CBS didnt try and keep this mega talent!
I don’t know if anyone else has noticed but I found for the past few weeks Y&R has had some great writing. The stories are great. Love the story about Devon & Hilary. Jack make up your mind already. Oh gosh don’t let anything happen to Michael. Come on Phyllis, give Sharon a break, she was ill.(although I love the new Phyllis) I love Chelsea with Billy. They have such a great chemistry together. Question to the writers, someone else asked Where is Lauren? She never went to the hospital to see Phyllis. She even broke down in the Abbott living room over re-decorating but never called or went to see her, for pete sake even her ex husband (Nick) went to see her in the hospital.
OMG… You’re so on the ball with that one. Lauren didn’t go see Phyllis. Well at least that I can remember.
with michael about to become ill, the only person lauren needs to search out is sexpot carmine!, maybe the writers can find a way to bring carmine back in laurens bed! poor lauren needs some real lovin!!!
The thing is no matter how they pull it off it wont fly because it’s too late. Lets say Lauren was ill? Well she’s been at the police station to take Michael out for lunch, she’s been in a restaurant with Michael and her sister Jill, she’s even in a Halloween outfit for Michael. Lauren would never-ever forget her best friend. She was always trying to keep Phyllis out of trouble sort of the voice of reason. This is definitely not like Lauren. She could say she was waiting until she got better but then how come Michael went to see her in the hospital? Y & R you dropped the ball on this one.
So good to see Kelly back on TV – a lot of people have a lot of opinions about JFP but she hired KeSu on GH and then on YR so she’s okay in my book!
I’m excited to have Kelly Sullivan on Y&R. Also happy to see her cameo as Connie on GH the other day. I hope her character is suited to her talents.

‘General Hospital’s’ Chris McKenna On Jack’s Reaction to Carly Cheating On Him with Valentin: ‘Heartbreak and Absolute Rage and Humiliation’
The stage is set for next week on General Hospital, after yesterday’s May 1 cliffhanger, when Brennan (Chris McKenna) sneaks into Carly’s (Laura Wright) house and heads up to her bedroom, bursts in the door and finds her between the sheets, albeit at that moment alone.
However, Jack is already armed with plenty of ammo, he saw two glasses of wine in Carly’s kitchen, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) already lit the fire, by telling him her mother was seeing someone else, the WSB bureau chief then went to visit Carly’s ex, Sonny (Maurice Benard). The mobster’s reaction pretty much sold Jack that Carly must be sleeping with another man.
As Jack goes to check out the situation to confirm his suspicions, Carly and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) have just hit the sheets, after fighting their attraction once again for each other. Now comes the moment of truth that Carly has been sleeping with Brennan’s sworn enemy, Valentin.

Courtesy/ABC
In a preview of what’s to come, Soap Opera Digest spoke to both Chris McKenna and Laura Wright where they talked about the upcoming scenes. McKenna expressed, “This has been coming for such a long time.” He also previews, “Brennan comes at her pretty aggressively.”
THREE’S COMPANY
Wright added, “Carly didn’t expect Brennan to walk into her bedroom! He doesn’t have a key. It’s late at night. She thinks she and Valentin are in the clear. She sees that he’s so angry and so worried about being cheated on… but not that he’s sorry for lying to her face or because her daughter is in danger because of him!”
As to how Jack will handle the situation from here and finding out that Carly is with Valentin, McKenna confirms, to expect, “heartbreak and absolute rage and humiliation” from Jack. He’s thinking, ‘This can’t be real. This can’t have happened. I can’t be this stupid. I can’t have been this blind.’ And as to Jack’s current state of mind, coming into the situation, “Jack is drunk and a little unhinged and the audience finally gets a glimpse of what’s going on underneath that rigid exterior.”
Needless to say, the fallout will be huge, and McKenna is proud of the trios work in the scenes, sharing that Laura Wright was a fantastic as ever, and that GH’s executive producer, Frank Valentini was on the set the entire time with Laura, James and him, making this story point play out to its full effect.
So, are you excited to see how what goes down between Brennan, Carly and Valentin and the fallout? Do you think this will cement Carly and Valentin as a couple, or will Carly regret what she’s done to Jack? Weigh-in on how you hope this all plays out via the comment section below.
Days Of Our Lives
‘Brilliant Minds’ Officially Canceled After 2 Seasons at NBC; DAYS Alum Al Calderon, OLTL Alum Teddy Sears and Zachary Quinto Among the Cast
After languishing on the bubble for months, on Friday, NBC handed down the decision and canceled the medical drama Brilliant Minds after two seasons.
Brilliant Minds stars Zachary Quinto as neurology physician Oliver Wolf, who’s character and the series is inspired by the life and books of neurologist. Oliver Sacks. The series focuses on the medical mysteries of the mind, as Wolf a larger-than-life neurologist and his team of interns explore the last great frontier, the human mind, while grappling with their own relationships and mental health.
The final six episodes of what will now be the end of its second and final season were already set to air beginning on May 27, after being pulled off the network schedule in February as viewership saw a steep decline. Brilliant Minds second season became the lowest-rated drama on linear TV viewing, which didn’t bode well fo a network renewal, although it had its hard core fan base.

There are some exceptional notables in the cast along with the talented Quinto that includes Days of Our Lives alum, Al Calderon (ex-Javi Hernandez) who joined the series in its second season as Nurse Nico Silva, and One Life to Live alum, Teddy Sears (ex-Chad Bennett) who plays Wolf’s love interest and fellow physician, Dr. Josh Nichols.
The rest of the talented cast includes: Tamberla Perry, Ashleigh LaThrop, Alex MacNicoll, Aury Krebs, Spence Moore II, Donna Murphy, John Clarence Stewart, and Brian Altemus.
In an ironic twist of fate on Thursday, April 30, Days of Our Lives finally revealed the actor who was Al Calderon’s successor in the role of Javi, when they announced that actor Jacob Martinez had now stepped into the role. Since DAYS tapes ten months ahead of streaming new episode, Calderon left in the spring of 2025, but will be seen in the part for the final part this month, and then on June 20, Martinez debuts as Salem’s new Javi.
Taking to his Instagram with a sorrowful and heartfelt post on the Brilliant Minds cancellation was Teddy Sears who wrote, “Thank you, Brilliant Minds. I got the call today and I didn’t want to hear, but I knew that it would come, You have to be a particular vintage to quote Don Henley from memory, but that’s the line that came to mind earlier today after I got off the phone with our inimitable showrunner Michael Grassi who delivered the news that NBC has cancelled the series”.

Sears continued, “To say that I feel sad to be moving on from these stories, this character, and this cast and crew just doesn’t paint the entire picture. I’m sad, sure. But I’m also deeply grateful that I got hired to play this part, so proud of the stories we told, and the other actors I got to play alongside. I’m excited to see what comes next, what adventures await, and terrified to be without a professional home. A quick and heartfelt thank you to everyone, all over the globe, who found us and found themselves in us, in our characters and in our stories. We wouldn’t have been able to tell them without you. And we still have 6 fresh episodes yet to air, and I do hope you tune in enjoy the remainder of the series. They’re the best we’ve done.”
As he wrapped up his sentiments, Sears signed off with, “The more I know, the less I understand. All the things I figured out I have to learn again. I’ve been trying to get down to the heart of the matter. But everything changes…Thank you, Brilliant Minds.”
Calderon took to his Instagram story and simply shared, “Thank You, Brilliant Minds.”
The medical drama was created and executive produced by Michael Grassi alongside Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Leigh London Redman, Lee Toland Krieger, DeMane Davis, Jasmine Russ, Henrik Bastin, Jonathan Cavendish, Andy Serkis and Shefali Malhoutra.

Taking to his Instagram to celebrate the nominations, GH’s Bennett, enthused, “3 Critic Choice Nominations! Congrats to Hallmark Channel and to our nominated cast and nominated show and everyone who made this magical show possible. This is crazy! This gives FMC 6 Critics Choice nominations in 2 years. In the series, Bennett, the host and co-creator spends eight weeks guiding 10 aspiring actors through a series of “festive face-offs” and acting challenges alongside actors like soap opera notables, Hunter King (ex-Summer, Y&R) and Alison Sweeney (Sami, DAYS).
