On tomorrow’s December 15th episode of The Young and the Restless look for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills castmates Erika Girardi and Y&R’s own Eileen Davidson (Ashley Abbott) to appear in scenes together.

Erika plays Farrah Dubose, a no-nonsense businesswoman who interacts with the town’s movers and shakers, including Ashley, whom she literally runs into. How did this all come to pass? In the season premiere of RHOBH earlier this month, Eileen surprised Erika with the opportunity to make a guest appearance on Y&R at Erika’s 45th birthday party.

Don’t watch BHHW anymore, so don’t know this woman or care to see her on Y&R. It was nice of Eileen to get her on the show though. They can always use one more blonde, right?

Me too..no matter what these shows try to do for the better. .even something as simple as a guest shot gets the negative Nancys going and is starting to get quite old! !

The housewives are alcoholics, druggies, face boobs and some butts and have more plastic surgery than anyone would ever need..

The housewives but the T in TV Trash ..

I hope her appearance is trashy too or I’ll be disappointed, if not.

I completely agree, Su! Their faces look distorted and so fake. Look at Lissa Rinna’s face now – what did she do to it?

You forgot the fake hair, su. LOL.
For a minute, I thought this woman ( never heard of her) was Jessica Rabbit in a blonde wig. Ha!
I beg TPTB to resurrect Eileen Davidson. Will the real Ashley please stand up?

I know it’s a crazy idea but how about instead of silly reality star cameos the soaps start focusing on telling a good story? Just a thought…

Exactly. The scenes were totally amateurish, almost laughable. I find myself talking to the TV sometimes in total disbelief at some of the stuff going on.

I hear you Celia. I never got into any of the real housewife shows, and I was shocked when I first learned that Eileen Davidson was associating herself with that garbage. I always thought that she was to classy for that. It was one time to many, and I hope they don’t make a habit of it.

I agree Celia.

I thought her first scenes with Eileen she was yelling and it was too much. I also didn’t see the point of the scenes. At least they then tied her in later with Devon and Hilary, but really, those scenes could have been done with just H and D.

I think it was just a wink and let us hope they keep it at that.

I thought the scene was weird and looked like a couple of teenage girls fawning all over each other. I was almost waiting for them to kiss and make up. They need to get Eileen Davidson a real love interest in this show, she deserves one.

Marcus Coloma On His GH Exit: “I Don’t Know Why That Decision Was Made, But I Don’t Feel Any ill Will and I Didn’t Feel I Got Fired”

This week, GH fans saw Adam Huss returning to the ABC soap opera as Nikolas Cassadine to finish out the rest of the scenes originally intended to be played by Marcus Coloma who ended his three-year run on the show a tad early.

As has been previously reported, Coloma came down with Covid-19 as his final tape days neared, and a decision was made for him to not return to finish off his last run of episodes.

With all the rumors and stances taken by everyone involved, Coloma was the special guest on this week’s episode of the That’s Awesome Podcast hosted by Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson and discussed his departure from the long-running daytime drama series.

Marcus expressed that when he took the role on GH, he was excited to be in that kind of environment (working on a soap opera), and only signed on for three years.  However, as time went by it became more difficult to reconcile leaving when his contract was up, sharing: “You fall in love with the crew and everybody along with it. So, two and a half years in, this decision that was so clear in the beginning is getting complicated.”

The actor added that while, “I knew the end was coming, it wasn’t like GH was saying, ‘Hey, Marcus, we want you to stay.’  There was no negotiation … and all I can say to that is I don’t know why that decision was made, but I don’t feel any ill will and I didn’t feel like I got fired. It just felt like … there was maybe an understanding that I was going to be there for three years. The big surprise is how much it hurt. Even though I knew I was going to leave.”

In the end, Coloma reflected that this may have concluded as it should, adding, “I really do have some big goals and those goals would have never been realized if I would have stayed. That’s not to take anything away from GH because I admire everything about it.”

Watch the episode of That’s Awesome featuring Coloma below.

Then weigh-in, what do you think of Marcus’ thoughts on his exit as GH’s Nikolas Cassadine? Share your thoughts in the comment section.
