WATCH: Who Kissed Whom On New Years Eve In Genoa City! Which Y&R Duo Do You Want To See Together In 2015?

Earlier today on CBS’ The Young and the Restless, the residents of Genoa City gathered at the GCAC for the big New Year’s Eve bash! And when the clock struck twelve, the camera panned to various duos sharing a peck, hug, a kiss, a passionate wet one, and more!
In the final moments of the episode, Courtney ( Kelli Goss) and Noah (Robert Adamson) kissed and then the cop stared at her hand! Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Kevin (Greg Rikaart) succumbed to doing shots then sharing a smooch, Harding (Chris McKenna) surprised Abby (Melissa Ordway) and planted one on her lips, and she liked it!
Paul (Doug Davidson) and Christine (Lauralee Bell) shared a moment of reconnection, but Paul was busy checking on Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) who was hugging hubby Victor (Eric Braeden)! Austin (Matt Atkinson) and Summer (Hunter King) kissed, Devon (Bryton James) and Gwen kissed … as Neil (Kristoff St. John) rejoiced with a miserable looking Hilary (Mishael Morgan). And then there was Jack (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) who shared a promise for the Nee Year and the kiss … while an unsettled look came from Kelly (Cady McClain) who spotted the lip-smack!
Elsewhere, Stich (Sean Carrigan) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) were home making out on the couch naked, while Billy (Burgess Jenkins) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) said that nothing can stand in the way of their happiness, only Adam (Justin Hartley)was lurking while at the NYE party.

Summer and Abby are shallow, vacuous, mean girls–clearly they have the Newman gene. Mariah is worth the lot of them. More please–today’s writing was good and solid.

I hope Sharon and Adam get back together. I really can’t forgive Nick anymore all the games and hurt he has done to Sharon. The writers seem to forget how much love Adam had for Sharon 🙂 It was so wonderful how they had each others backs

Yes, these two have the kind of chemistry I have not seen in a long time on Y&R. I just don’t like this Abby. Period. She is as interesting as dish water….please, do something with her hair…give her a style that is up with the times, not Donna Reed……and that cop? Even worse.
No one piques my interest at this point except Mariah and Kevin……And, possibly ; hopefully a start of something between ‘Gabriel’ and Chelsea. This Billy needs to go. Yuck.
I love Ashley….such a beautiful and talented actress…..but, with someone her own age….I have had it with these two -ships- in -the -night relationships . There will be a problem between Victoria and Ben when she discovers his minute affair with Ashley…..I see the writing on the wall….here we go again. C’mon, now, can we please get away from the same old same old?

Nanci, I kind of liked Noah announcing that because it’s an example of a character driven plot line.
Noah has watched his parents torment each other since he was a baby. It’s no wonder he thinks marriage is a horrible idea after the example his parents set.

Kelly has turned into a creepy, psycho stalker. I guess that is the only way she can fight Phyllis. If you can’t beat em, join em!

I think you might be right, Patrick. Which makes me kind of sad because I was happy for Cady when she landed the job.
Here’s my guess–I never bought that Adam hit Chelsey. If you watch that scene it just doesn’t seem plausible. There was a reason he didn’t know he hit her until days later–because he didn’t.
I think Kelly did it and the guilt is pushing her over the edge.
It can’t just be because the love of Jack’s life awoke from her coma and he had to go back to her.
Everybody who watches this soap knows that Cady McClain/Kelly was going to be the sacrificial lamb in this Phyllis & Jack stroryline before she is written out I hope she gets her pound of flesh concerning Phyllis & Jack. As for Neill to even be remotely friendly with Phyllis is stupid since Phyllis & Dru hated each others guts. And my New Years wish for this show is for Dylan to become Sharon’s best friend the actor Steve Burton actually shows he has blood in his veins when he acts opposite her he is comfortable and relaxed. Besides he is the only one in town who knows she has a mental illness and doesn’t act like a jack ass. As for Nick may his lower body parts fall off total complete ass. In twenty years on this show his character has still not grown up!

I hadn’t noticed Kelly’s “Kim Like” butt but please no Kayne!!!! Speaking of Kelly though, I am glad she got rid of those straight bangs. It made he face look heavier and also it appeared as though it was an attempt to look younger? Either way, they were gone this week. I cannot wait for her and RED to rip each other a part!
Has there ever been a woman who has not locked horns with Phyllis? There must always be an antagonist ready to take the plunge with her. But, somehow, Phyllis always comes out on top.
As for Kelly, yes, she does look a bit more sophisticated without bangs. Yet, I find it hard to get Dixie Cooney (sp.) out of my head….ugh. Yeah, I am waiting for the cat fight with trepidation…LOL. What else is new? Cricket, Sharon, Gina, not sure about Diane, now Kelly etc…… and, the beat goes on. THEY ARE SIMPLY TOO OLD TO ACT LIKE SCHOOLGIRLS . Fighting over Jack? Lordy Lord.
On a different note, the Kardashians invaded my neck of the woods this past summer. Believe me, their butts are not very appealing in person….especially on the beach…..hang like a lumpy sack of potatoes. LOL.

CeeCee, I cannot locate your comment in which you speak of Ashley constantly being couple with men young enough to be her son. I have no issue with May December romances but what irks me is that it is never mentioned that Ashley is at least twenty years older than both Joe and Stitch. And she looks kind of ridiculous competing with her daughter and former step daughter for the affection of these men.
I think there is shortage of men in Ashley’s age bracket. The only man who is about her age is her brother Jack

This show is SO good right now!!! The classy New Year’s Eve hearkened back to the glory days when soaps had a budget and production values! The writing is back to being sophisticated and classic. Abby and this cop have off the charts chemistry, it would be a shame for them not to capitalize on it as this Abby hasnt really clicked with any of her previous leading men. Kevin and Mariah rock! The Phyllis/Kelly/Jack triangle is what soaps are made of. I could do without the plastic surgery of Adam, that is a bit too GH for me, but Justin Hartley is awesome in the role. I may draw the ire of an entire fan base, but I never liked Adam when he was played by Muhney. He was too one-note for me, just my opinion….no need to circle the wagons and attack…Im not going to change my mind. LOL. The current writers have put so much good storytelling into place, I just hope Pratt doesnt come in and dismantle all their efforts. I also really enjoy the Warehouse District storyline. It is real and relatable, and is roping in characters we know and.care about and doesnt feel forced. I even kind of like smarmy Joe Clark. He is a good instigator and could go in any number of directions as he has chemistry with many people. All in all, after am excruciatingly boring couple of years, it feels like we have our show back. Hoping for a 2015 that is as good as the last part of 2014 was!

Aden, love your post. I was a huge Michael Muhney fan and yes, I did not feel Adam should be recast. I have to give it up to casting and to the actor–together they have hit a home run.
I am also turning into a Phyllis fan. Now it’s my turn to invoke the wrath of the torch carrying fans—I never liked Michelle’s scene chewing Phyllis. I love Gina’s Phyllis. I find myself rooting for her.
Kevin and Mariah for sure. They are fast becoming my second favorite couple after Michael and Lauren. I love that they are taking it slow with them.
Yes to a Mariah and Kevin involvement— couples that start off as good friends always have more entertainment value that those couples that get hot and heavy from day one.
No to Harding and Abby– she has already done the spoiled rich girl hooking up with average joe blue collar guy and it didn’t work. I rather see Abby with Stitch long term, and Vicky back with Billy.
As for a Kelly and Phyllis feud a brewing– I get it is entertainment, but it really goes against who Kelly is as person. It is like a mouse going against a loin. Also it is rather sad to watch two mature women cat fighting over a man. I get that impulse when you are younger– but please these women are old enough and should be mature enough to know by now, no man is worth all that hassle– LOL.
And lastly I want Kyle to come back and kick Austin to the curb– nothing wrong with the actor, but honestly either flesh out the character a bit or send him packing, because right now all he is eye candy on Summer’s arm.
Well, Mary , I have been saying the same thing about these actors/ actresses being given infantile, teen roles. It is not entertaining to see grown women scratch their eyes out as such…..it brings them down a peg; or two.
I once saw two elderly men fight at church. It was the oddest, saddest, entertaining thing I EVER saw. It happened years ago and I still remember it! One of the guys was my Sunday school teacher in which I never looked at him the same way again!

Also, RIGHT ON about Abby…I (also) would L-O-V-E to see that ANNOYINGLY STUPID chick disappear…that would bring me such soap-opera-filled J-O-Y…LOL!!!!! Most of all, I think that the E-N-T-I-R-E Newman family is a major S-C-R-E-A-M!!!!! To me, those Newmans are W-A-Y MORE DYSFUNCTIONAL than The Addams Family…LOL!!!!! And, more and more, I have this image in my head of Mariah thinking to herself, “You Newman people have clearly lost your damn minds.” LOL!!!!!

Exhibit A of how absurd it looks when older characters are written the same as they were in the 80’s and 90’s…Bobbie and Lucy on GH. After the glorious, game changing writing of Claire Labine, which allowed all the characters to bond and grow and man ture…along comes Ron Carlivati who completely dismantled all that and now has Bobbie and Lucy, women in their 60’s, rolling around on a bed fighting over Scott Baldwin. How absurd and degrading. These women should be more.concerned about breaking a hip, or that one of their altered body parts might pop and the silicone would leak out, not slugging and fighting each other. It is refreshing and rewarding when we can watch characters mature over the years. A prime example is Jack Abbott. He went from a sleazy bed hopping playboy in his youth to a loving and devoted man who always tries his best, but doesnt always succeed. Could you imagine how grotesque it would be if he was still being written as he was 30 years ago?? Victor never changes, he just keeps gettong more malicious. What would a man pushing 80 still be so power hungry for? He has all the money in the world, him and his family want for nothing. Its time for him to retire, grab a colourful hat, and go to Florida and chill out. Erica Kane from AMC was another one who, despite her 40 years of trials and tribulations, never learned a single life lesson and was written as a petulant, immature teenager for the duration of the show’s run. It is often written that happy couples are boring. How on Earth would anyone know that when that is the one thinformation g that has never truly been attempted on daytime before???? When writers have made the effort to keep couples together and happy, however rare, they were never boring. Eden and Cruz from Santa Barbara were never boring. Bo and Hope were never boring. Luke and Laura were never boring. Nick and Sharon were never boring for the many years they were a solid couple. Soap writers seem to think, and I dont know why, that endless rounds of break ups and divorces and remarriages are interesting. Memo….they’re not. I think of Carly and Jack from ATWT. By the end of the show’s run, when they had their 17th remarriage, viewers were long past the point of caring or emotional investment. A new writing approach is seriously needed on soaps. Until then, they will never be relevant or important again.

I love Kevin and Mariah together. I remember when Greg first came to genoa city it was the year before Cassie passed away. Camryn was only a teen then so young. I’m glad she’d is back now as an adult. They are a sweet pair . I think Chloe is gonna cone back with Kevin’s baby not Billy’s. Just a hunch! Wouldn’t that make great tv? I think so ! 🙂 also I am living justin Hartley as Adam ! Best recast on the show so far. MM was good but I think Justin will outdo MM in the Adam department ! He has got it down and I love it can’t wait til Chelsea finds out! Sage hmm what do think the odds are she is the driver who hit dee dee? I think it’s a very big possibility she did . She did show up at her memorial.. Maybe Gabriel is the one who did it and she knows… Just saying I got to see today’s early episode as I get yr a day early. The problem with these two is forever repeating itself…..it is played out. I do understand your antipathy and ambivalence toward Sharon….especially lately. I find it harder and harder to deal with the Botox. Her face looks to have been stung by a billion bees…..at least, that’s how I see it….puffy, shiny, and bumpy. But, I tolerate her. I think I would miss her if she left, albeit she’s not one of my faves, as she once was.
I would rather see Abby disappear. I don’t see her purpose except to fill useless space. I’d like to see Victor go away too, but I believe he’s one of the main “ingredients” making Y&R what it is. So, he’s a permanent fixture until he decides to leave. I really think he’s the boss.LOL.
Also, Nikki brings me down, down, down. Her melancholy, her subterfuge, her Wah, Wah, Wah,…..Lordy, Lord; so depressing. Later.

Fenmore is in a band can’t we hear him play? Lets see Devon & Hilary get caught. We have so many great story’s & we have that damn Summer in every one of them. When she showed up at Sharon’s place to see Faith they should have told her to visit with Faith at her Fathers place. I sent a couple of letters out One to C.B.S. and the other to Sony because I really feel like this is a prejudice. It’s almost a favoritism for her. I’m waiting for Michael to go into the hospital for surgery I’ll bet she’s a nurse’s helper, of course she’s involved with the Phyllis/ Jack/ Kelly story because of her mother, she’s involved with the custody of Faith because of Faith. We can’t see Victor /Nikki without her because she’s the grandaughter, Noah & Courtney yep she’s Courtney’s best friend. Can’t go to the coffee shop she’s there, Underground no again her father own’s it. I told Sony & C.B.S. I didn’t want them to take my word for it & they should tune in for a week or two. It’s going to get worse because their bringing back Jack’s son Kyle.

Your right, younger isnt always better because in the end, it almost always matters. Case in point, Larry King. His wife is a lot younger and beautiful. Larry has nine toes in the grave! Its disturbing to even see them together. She cheated and then went back to him. I wish any couple well but as soon as Mr. Kings suspenders are six feet under his wife will be boppin the first cable guy through the door! Age is just a number but it means something.
Well, people will always be pissed because of her accusations against MM. HOWEVER, we have all moved on and Summer is a thorn in the side of Y&R, regardless. She is in on too many stories, shes young and dresses like a homeless woman, and she is the Debbie Downer of everyone’s fun! Send her on a modeling shoot to Alaska!

We have all moved on and I like Justin H, I think he’s a great Adam but she is still being shoved down our throats. Count the number of times she on in a week! She;s also a little butt kisser, Now she’s talking about how wonderful E.D. is in RHOBH. like she never stops. Now that their bringing Kyle back we’re going to be seeing her big fat face & bushy eyebrows every day. 2.bye bye to the actors impersonating the real vikki and billy. not cutting it!! the real vikki is a shrewd female version of victor newman not a whiny princess on slow motion. the real billy is a younger version of jack abbott playboy businessman not a good ol’ southern boy!
3. leslie and tyler back! with hilary and devon , neil deserves true love with leslie, reveal the real reason leslie went and married the doc out of nowhere! tyler was oozing badboy charm and sex appeal, once its revealed cane kept devon and hilarys affair secret , let lily turn to tyler pleaseee! tyler s the next malcolm!!!

Her and Colin are a snorefest! IF the bring back the original Tucker and send Colin back to GH, Jill might have a purpose on the show.

My favourite couple has always been Nick & Sharon. Hope they get back together soon. I also like Billy & Victoria & Avery & Dylan. I was never fond of Adam, but like the recast. I like him with Chelsea. Can’t stand Phyllis. Never did. The only ones I really care about are Nick & Sharon!
Of course I’m going to say Kevin & Mariah, because right now, they’re the cutest, most real couple on the show. I just hope they don’t rush them into anything. Right now, it’s moving along nice and slow, which is what a real relationship does.
I had only one thing to say when Harding kissed Abby. “It’s about time!” I have wondered when the writers were going to finally have someone with a bigger attitude on them go after that brat, and he really shut her up! I am SO hoping that Harding will knock Abby down a few feet from that high horse she’s on and she’ll finally become a human being instead of such a mouthy monster. And she used to be such a NICE child!
While some are hoping for Jack and Phyllis to continue their relationship, I have a feeling that Kelly is going to be written as the newest psycho on the show and will be doing little underhanded things that Phyllis can’t really nail her on, but Kelly will be batting her eyes and mooning to Jack that Phyllis is really picking on her so he’ll come back to her. I really dislike the way that the writers have taken a great character (as portrayed by Cynthia Watros) and made her into this weepy, hand-wringing, gushing female with no backbone. I THINK they’re writing her with a bit of one now, but I’m not sure, because I can’t tell where McClain is going with Kelly. But I can hope for the best. This is an interesting storyline, however.
Paul & Chris having a child at their age? Well, that’s pretty rare, first of all. And no, I don’t think he’s going to end up with Nikki. I think he’s just worried about his friend, whom he knows is drinking (or has been) again, and while that is something to worry about, it’s going to end up breaking up his marriage, or cause Chris to lose the child, which will end the marriage anyway. Just a gut feeling on my part.
Stitch and Vicki, Billy & Chelsea, Adam & Sage, Ashley & Joe, Devon & Gwen plus Hilary & Neil, Dylan & Avery, Lily & Cane, even Victor & Nikki are all just “eh” to me. While Stitch & Vicki are finally together, has it been six weeks since Katie was born? That’s the normal time before one usually is able to have sex. Was just a thought that crossed my mind when she and Stitch were messing up the couch (don’t they have beds on that show?).
The Sage & Adam story intrigues me. She’s Gabriel’s wife? Great, now how does Adam get back to Chelsea? And will he be able to do so before she marries dull-nuBilly? What I’m really hoping for is to see Adam going after Victor and Joe on this warehouse district buyout by using Bingham money and taking everything away from Victor again, then revealing himself. That would be great.
Hilary & Devon will be found out soon, now that Neil is starting to see again and no one but Phyllis knows about it. That’s going to be a big one; whether Neil realizes asking a woman his daughter’s age to marry him in less than 3 months was wise will finally hit home or not is another question. I don’t know why that man jumps into relationships so fast…
I realize they’re trying to find a love interest for Ashley, but having her have sex with Stitch and dating Joe (both of whom are way younger than she is) is crazy. Have her be with Harding if Abby doesn’t take to him, or find her a new man, one who’s closer to her age and in the business. It would make a lot more sense. And when is Stitch going to be exonerated and given back his life, and WHEN are we going to find out who that blonde woman was driving the black SUV the same night Adam was driving and Delia was killed? Was it Maureen? Kelly? Nikki? Someone else, maybe Sage or Constance, before she was in the chair? I’d really like to know, because I feel Adam was set up, big time, by someone.
Well, I’m hoping that Michael and Lauren will continue to be a strong couple (and he beats the cancer) in 2015, and I really look forward to seeing more of Kevin and Mariah. And as much as I love Jill, I really hope that she’ll see Colin isn’t the man for her, and calls Larry Wharton to come back and be her lover again. I miss that man!

That’s the last time Billy and Chelsea are going to be “happy”. Adam is slowly creeping between this dull as dirt relationship. Couldn’t happen soon enough. Chadam is my favorite. Chelsea is not over her husband by a long shot! Billy just does not measure up.
None of these couples are compelling TV. The show is repetitive garbage. Y&R has run out of gas. I keep reading that Chuckie Pratt is about to kill off a bunch of characters during February sweeps. Frankly, he needs to wipe Genoa City off the map and start over. So boring.
Maybe Charley will do us a favor. My “Kill Off” list is as follows.

‘Brilliant Minds’ Officially Canceled After 2 Seasons at NBC; DAYS Alum Al Calderon, OLTL Alum Teddy Sears and Zachary Quinto Among the Cast
After languishing on the bubble for months, on Friday, NBC handed down the decision and canceled the medical drama Brilliant Minds after two seasons.
Brilliant Minds stars Zachary Quinto as neurology physician Oliver Wolf, who’s character and the series is inspired by the life and books of neurologist. Oliver Sacks. The series focuses on the medical mysteries of the mind, as Wolf a larger-than-life neurologist and his team of interns explore the last great frontier, the human mind, while grappling with their own relationships and mental health.
The final six episodes of what will now be the end of its second and final season were already set to air beginning on May 27, after being pulled off the network schedule in February as viewership saw a steep decline. Brilliant Minds second season became the lowest-rated drama on linear TV viewing, which didn’t bode well fo a network renewal, although it had its hard core fan base.

There are some exceptional notables in the cast along with the talented Quinto that includes Days of Our Lives alum, Al Calderon (ex-Javi Hernandez) who joined the series in its second season as Nurse Nico Silva, and One Life to Live alum, Teddy Sears (ex-Chad Bennett) who plays Wolf’s love interest and fellow physician, Dr. Josh Nichols.
The rest of the talented cast includes: Tamberla Perry, Ashleigh LaThrop, Alex MacNicoll, Aury Krebs, Spence Moore II, Donna Murphy, John Clarence Stewart, and Brian Altemus.
In an ironic twist of fate on Thursday, April 30, Days of Our Lives finally revealed the actor who was Al Calderon’s successor in the role of Javi, when they announced that actor Jacob Martinez had now stepped into the role. Since DAYS tapes ten months ahead of streaming new episode, Calderon left in the spring of 2025, but will be seen in the part for the final part this month, and then on June 20, Martinez debuts as Salem’s new Javi.
Taking to his Instagram with a sorrowful and heartfelt post on the Brilliant Minds cancellation was Teddy Sears who wrote, “Thank you, Brilliant Minds. I got the call today and I didn’t want to hear, but I knew that it would come, You have to be a particular vintage to quote Don Henley from memory, but that’s the line that came to mind earlier today after I got off the phone with our inimitable showrunner Michael Grassi who delivered the news that NBC has cancelled the series”.

Sears continued, “To say that I feel sad to be moving on from these stories, this character, and this cast and crew just doesn’t paint the entire picture. I’m sad, sure. But I’m also deeply grateful that I got hired to play this part, so proud of the stories we told, and the other actors I got to play alongside. I’m excited to see what comes next, what adventures await, and terrified to be without a professional home. A quick and heartfelt thank you to everyone, all over the globe, who found us and found themselves in us, in our characters and in our stories. We wouldn’t have been able to tell them without you. And we still have 6 fresh episodes yet to air, and I do hope you tune in enjoy the remainder of the series. They’re the best we’ve done.”
As he wrapped up his sentiments, Sears signed off with, “The more I know, the less I understand. All the things I figured out I have to learn again. I’ve been trying to get down to the heart of the matter. But everything changes…Thank you, Brilliant Minds.”
The medical drama was created and executive produced by Michael Grassi alongside Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Leigh London Redman, Lee Toland Krieger, DeMane Davis, Jasmine Russ, Henrik Bastin, Jonathan Cavendish, Andy Serkis and Shefali Malhoutra.

‘General Hospital’s’ Jonathan Bennett Receives 3 ‘Critics Choice Real TV Awards’ Nominations for Hallmark Series, ‘Finding Mr. Christmas’
Many things are coming up roses for Jonathan Bennett! On the heels of the news that he is set to debut this month in the role of Joe Fitzpatrick on General Hospital, who is rumored to be a new love interest for Lucas Jones (Van Hansis), comes the news that Bennett’s reality series, Finding Mr. Christmas has received 3 nomination for the Critics Choice Real TV Awards.
Bennett’s Hallmark Channel series finds itself in tough competition alongside fellow nominees: RuPaul’s Drag Race (MTV), Squid Game: The Challenge (Netflix), Survivor 50 (CBS), Top Chef (Bravo) and The Traitors (Peacock). In addition, Jonathan himself is nominated for Best Show Host and the series participants as the Best Ensemble Cast in an Unscripted Series.
The Critics Choice Association (CCA) revealed the nominees for the eighth annual Critics Choice Real TV Awards on Thursday, which recognize excellence in nonfiction, unscripted and reality programming across broadcast, cable and streaming platforms. Winners will be announced online at CriticsChoice.com on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 9:00am PT/12:00pm ET.

Taking to his Instagram to celebrate the nominations, GH’s Bennett, enthused, “3 Critic Choice Nominations! I’m so proud of the FINDING MR CHRISTMAS and to be in the company of all the legends in all these categories is so surreal! Congrats to Hallmark Channel and to our nominated cast and nominated show and everyone who made this magical show possible. This is crazy! This gives FMC 6 Critics Choice nominations in 2 years. Not bad for a little show on Hallmark Channel. What are your thoughts on our show?” Jumping first into the comment thread was one of his new GH co-stars, Dominic Zamprogna (Dante) who expressed, “Yeah buddy!!!🔥🔥”
In the series, Bennett, the host and co-creator spends eight weeks guiding 10 aspiring actors through a series of “festive face-offs” and acting challenges alongside actors like soap opera notables, Hunter King (ex-Summer, Y&R) and Alison Sweeney (Sami, DAYS). Along the way, they develop their skills and a bond with one another. The show, which is available on Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Plus, highlights LGBTQ+ representation with openly gay contestants vying to be the next Hallmark star.
It should be noted that Traitors received the most Critics Choice Real TV Award nominations with 6 nods, followed by Dancing with the Stars with 4.
Bennett is very familiar to daytime fans having started his career as JR Chandler on All My Children in 2000-2001, before landing the part of Aaron Samuels in the motion picture, Mean Girls in 2004 starring Lindsay Lohan, which would become his breakout performance.

‘General Hospital’s’ Kelly Thiebaud on Britt and Cassius Sibling Drama, But Who Will Ultimately Blow His Cover?
On the April 30 episode of General Hospital, Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) had some choice words and warning for her brother Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) who has been masquerading as his twin, the very dead, Nathan West.
As the story has unfolded, viewers learned that Britt knew all along that when “Nathan” showed up in Port Charles seemingly resurrected with a missing 7 years of his life unexplained, that Cassius was taking his place.
Now in developments on today’s GH, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is figuring out that this guy pretending to be Nathan is someone else, and Cassius learns from Britt, that Joss is not just a ditzy sorority girl as he claimed, but a WSB agent! The moment stuns Cassius. Are the walls about to close in on him and his charade?

Daytime Emmy winner, Kelly Thiebaud spoke to Soap Opera Digest, about the story point and getting the opportunity this time back at GH to work with Ryan Paevey, when she hadn’t had the chance to before.
BROTHERLY LOVE?
Thiebaud expressed on sharing scenes with Ryan Paevey, “It’s just been so wonderful to have him back and to actually work with him! When he first came onto the show (as Nathan at the end of 2013) I was kind of heading out — it was right towards the end of my contract, so we didn’t actually work together a ton. It’s been really refreshing and so much fun to really spend time together and get to know each other and work together. I think we have really great on-camera chemistry and banter with each other. I really enjoy working with him.”
With the stakes at an all-time, Thiebaud explained how she views her on-screen alter-ego’s involvement with her more hot-to-temper sibling and why Britt revealed the truth about Josslyn to him. “People finding out about Cassius would expose what she’s involved in and what she agreed to do,” explains Kelly “And now Josslyn is digging around, and she’s connected to Carly (Laura Wright) to Jason (Steve Burton) and that whole dynamic! It’s messy!”
BRITT’S MURKY FUTURE
Britt has currently also reached her breaking point with Jason being carted away by the WSB, Rocco (Finn Carr), the child she gave birth to, shooting Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) to protect her and Jason, Marco (Adrian Anchondo) being killed after trying to help her, and Cullum holding over her head getting her Huntington’s disease medication to control her symptoms, while blackmailing her into finishing the research on her father, Cesar Faison’s, final project. Thiebaud summed it up best for Britt right now, sharing, “It’s been a really tough time for her.”
