When Kassie DePaiva's Blair Sings To Todd On The New One Life to Live … What Is She Telling Him?

Photo Credi: TOLN
Great news for One Life to Live fans! Kassie DePaiva will be singing again on-screen as Blair Cramer Manning, when the series returns on April 29th. Yesterday in scenes shot at One Life’s studios in Connecticut, DePaiva thrilled her cast members when she sang her single “No Regrets” during a pivotal scene!
What we do know is that DePaiva’s character of Blair sang “No Regrets” in an emotional moment at Blair’s nightclub, Shelter, Llanview’s newest hot spot, when things hit a snafu!
As fans of Kassie’s know, “No Regrets,” is included on DePaiva’s CD of the same name, and now in story features lyrics that are a subtle hint to Todd (Roger Howarth) that she’s not over him.
So the question is, will Blair and Todd somehow find their way back to each other for a moment, only to have something tear them apart in the storyline?
Circle the date of April 29th when brand new 30-minute episodes of One Life to Live will be launched each weekday and available to stream online in HD (when available) via the free Hulu.com service and to subscribers of Hulu Plus making these venerable dramas available in a new format that suits the viewing habits of the digital generation. In addition, the iTunes Store will offer both series via iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Apple TV and Mac or PC.

‘General Hospital’s’ Steve Burton Shares Reaction to His Lead Actor Daytime Emmy Nomination, ‘It Was to Honor Leslie Charleson’

The 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Award nominations kicked-off on Monday with the announcements of four major categories including, Outstanding Lead Performer in a Daytime Drama Series — Actor, and among the nominees is General Hospital’s Steve Burton (Jason Morgan).
Burton is already a two-time Daytime Emmy winner in the Supporting Actor category for his roles as GH’s Jason and his turn as Dylan McAvoy on Y&R. However, Steve is yet to win in the Lead Actor category and he has received 11 nominations along the way in his daytime career.
Following the reveal that he is a 2026 Daytime Emmy nominee, he and his GH co-star, podcast co-host and comedy show partner, Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) taped a special edition of their That’s Awesome podcast just featuring Burton’s reaction to the news.

FOR LESLIE CHARLESON
Steve expressed, “I know it’s such a cliche to say, ‘I’m just so honored to be nominated.’ But truly, I’m so grateful to be nominated, so grateful to just be on the show off and on for 30 plus years and to be nominated with the guys in my category. Just to get the opportunity. Frank (Valentini, executive producer, GH) texted me right away. I was just like, ‘Thank you for the opportunity to get to do what I do.'”
Taking in the moment, Burton thanked those who helped him select the material for his nominated reel. “Unless you win, you don’t get to say things. So. I’m going just say a few things: Elizabeth Korte (co-head writer, GH) helped me a lot with the material, (as did) Michelle Henry, who’s a producer on the show, Laura Wright (Carly, GH), and then my wife Michelle (Lundstrom). I believe it was Jill Phelps who told me that when A Martinez felt like he had a great show or great scenes, he would mark it down. So, when Emmy time comes, you have all the show numbers written down, and you don’t have to think about it, because that’s half the battle (finding the material).
Burton explained how meaningful this nomination is for him, because of playing the scenes of Jason losing Monica, and his closeness with the late, great Leslie Charleson.
“The nomination’s an amazing thing, and it’s beautiful, but really it’s to honor Leslie Charleson. A lot of my material was because of her, and how I started on the show as a Quartermaine, it just means a ton,” shared Burton. “Maurice Benard (Sonny, GH) has obviously has been instrumental, and I’ve said it from day one and I’ll shout it from the rooftops. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be here, and to be working with the people that we work with is incredible.”

SHOULD JOHN OLIVER BE NAMED HOST OF THE DAYTIME EMMYS?
During the end of his conversation with Anderson, Steve suggested that the host of the Daytime Emmy should be Last Week Tonight’s John Oliver, who recently guest starred as the head of the WSB named Z on General Hospital, and is soon to show up on Days of Our Lives in a mystery role in August.
Thus far, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has not revealed their host for the upcoming ceremony to be held on October 30 in a venue to be named in Hollywood, California.
You can watch Steve sharing his reaction to receiving his 2026 Lead Actor Daytime Emmy nomination below on a special segment on the That’s Awesome podcast.
Now let us know, are you glad that Steve chose scenes surrounding Jason mourning the loss of the woman that raised him, Monica Quartermaine for his Emmy reel? What do you think of John Oliver as a suggestion to host the Daytime Emmys? Weigh-in via the comment section below.

So excited for the OLTL reboot! It seems the more things change the more they stay the same. Loved when Kassie sang on the show and looking forward to hearing her spill her heart out to Todd once again.
This is so exciting…I can’t wait, all this build up is worrying me a little that it may be a let down. Hope I am wrong about that though.
LOVE Blair and Kassie! I can’t wait to hear her sing on OLTL again!
Ditto!
I love Todd and Carly..
After seeing them together, and their awesome unique love for each other, I can not see Todd being with Blair.. They could never capture the fire of Todd & Carly..
Todd & Carly !!!!
Obviously you’ve never seen Todd and Blair but in a way you have. Scriptwise anyway. All Todd and Cujo scenes were Ron’s rip off of original T&B but with Todd written as Sheckey Manning. Probably found the old scripts.
And whatever that was written on GH it wasn’t Todd Manning. But GH Cujo fans don’t care as long as their girl had ‘Todd.’ And yes HAD because PP owns him and GH can’t even mention the name now.
And as for the ‘fire’ of Tujo — BWWAAAAAH!!
LMAO! Brooke!
I have seen Todd and Blair together and apart and together again same old, since day one..
Todd and Carly are new, refreshing, HOT and unique couple..
Todd has finally broken free and has a love interest that is super for him..
Carly and Todd were made for each other, soap wise.. 🙂
Agree Brook!
Carly is a blair like character so its not new and refreshing loll
Carly new and fresh? Sure, like 3 day old catfish that’s been out in the sun too long.
She’s telling Todd he may be saying Goodbye but that they’ll always love each other. RH may leave but hopefully one day he’ll be back. The same with Michael Easton.
I guess they will only have a moment to find their way back to each other before a giant mouse tears them apart maybe 4ever causing Todd to end up in a 50 year old hospital with a different name and a whole new identity!…LOL!!!
How will people in canada watch?
Do a search for HuLu and VPN …
Then you will know how you can watch HuLu in Canada.. 🙂
ya thats such a pain and a waste for me to find a FREE proxy that works 100% so i can watch a show that would normally be free on tv… prospect park is putting up such a fight over 3 characters ripping the actors from GH and taking away the role of starr manning from the girl who pretty much originated the character and now they make it difficult to watch its basically not worth it…
They own the characters KA does not. PP has been working on showing the shows in Canada!
Nobody knows for sure how and what will actually happen to the 3, the end result as to how all will be handled and dealt with is still a mystery..
Just happy the ”actors” will remain on GH, so far as we know now, but that could change too.
KA was done with Starr Manning when oltl ended and only came back to it because Frank asked her to. She has no rights to the character, PP paid millions of dollars for these 3 characters that GH/ABC tried to fight for. If she wants to work for ABC again it will have to be as a different character.
Oh lord, she’s trying to sing again, my ears are bleeding.
I’m so torn. I mean, I know I’m in the minority, but I really like Todd and Carly. Even if he has to go by a different name, I enjoy the two actor’s onscreen chemistry.
But I AM a Blair and Todd fan as well.
With all that has gone down between them, I wouldn’t mind Blair finding someone else for a little while before rekindling the relationship with Todd. Todd’s at his best when he’s throwing jabs at whomever Blair is with that’s not him. :-p
Blair proclaims to love Tomas, and is engaged and going to marry Tomas ..
your not in the minority, a lot of GH fans love the pairing. now if you ask oltl fan well, thats a whole different story. but i too can’t wait for Roger Howarth to return to GH and create more magic.
He has to return to GH because he’s under contract with them but hopefully when his contract expires he will sign with PP. His family is on the east coast so he’d rather be there anyway. RC really doesn’t know how to write for Todd, RH is too good of an actor to be written as so clown like or to go lusting after someone like any other male lead on soaps. Todd is so much more than that and they’ve hired a writer that wrote for him in his early days and actually has an understanding of the character so hopefully eventually she will be able to write for Todd long term as it should be.
I doubt that Roger Howarth is being forced to complete his contract , if he wants to go to pp I’m sure FV would of let him, so all this crap bout him waiting to finish his contract to then go to pp seems like wishful thinking from certain fans but then again who really knows but Roger anyways. I sure wont believe it from any other source especially if its from ” fans”. So que sera sera! Regardless GH will survive.
I’m so over Todd and Blair. Blair has sung to Todd a million times. This isn’t anything new, just the same merry-go-round. Give Blair a new love interest and let Todd go back to GH.
Love her character but not her singing.
Todd and Carly are the most forced couple and boring as well. When LW is turned side ways when kissing Roger she looks like Kassie. My teenage neices thought it was her in their last scene and where disappointed it wasn’t her. They 2 feel T&C are forced and that he is the town fool. Ron is over doing it with the comedy and not showing Rogers other talents. I hope it’s true that when he returns it will be a different character because Todd belongs in Lanview. Also I’m surprised the GH fans rather have the GH/OLTL3 then keeping some of their own returned past characters. Hope they enjoy all the newbies because of keeping these 3. Beginning April 29th you’ll see want a true and not forced couple is. TnB!!!
Agree jc – Sam & John McBain was also a forced couple. So glad their characters are staying in Llanview and GH ONLY gets the actors.
Prospect Park stop toying around and work out a way to share the characters because it works great for everyone! I am Team Todd and Carly, loved Todd and Blair but been there done that so move on!
I hope Blair is telling Todd goodbye for good. They share children and will always be a part of each other’s lives but Blair has stood enough abuse from Todd as far as I’m concerned. I don’t see how any mother could forgive the man who gave her newborn baby away and told her the baby was dead. Yes, he got the baby back after realizing he was the father but his action was just cruel. Blair has grown as a person over the years and should be over try to reform the bad boy of the century.
Todd & Blair will always belong together. No matter what, Todd belongs in Llanview. Hope Roger ultimately stays with PP & the show where he can play the iconic character he created 20 years ago.
I love gay stories. They should pair up Todd and Felix. We all know Todd was a gang rapist because he was secretly gay. Then they could have a triangle with Milo. He looks really fine when he takes his clothing off. Male/female love stories are way overrated! Then they could bring back Lucas too and have a hot quadrangle. The endgame couple should be Todd and Milo. They could be hotter than Bobbie and Tony were!! Tracy and Ellie should also fall in love. Ellie has to be gay because she doesnt want kids. There just needs to be more gay love because gay love is pure and right. Ratings would rise for sure! Patrick and Felix should go in the shower too.
I pray that your kidding
Looking forward to it! Love her.
I CANNOT wait for the return of OLTL and especially of Todd and Blair. There is an awesome reunion story to be told for these two characters that we weren’t allowed to have at the end of broadcast OLTL. (Yes, I know they ended up together, but there is a much juicier and deeper *story* to be told that wasn’t.) I am hoping for a real reunion for my two favorite characters!
Will OLTL only be shown on the Hulu.com starting 4/29/13? We have cable (not satalite), so I’ll call our cable co. & see if that channel is available. Will the new OLTL ever be on Soapnet.com again? Or just repeats? Thank you,
The fact that there cannot be an article written about only Blair or KDP is a good sign that the character needs to get her own life! Get Blair a new guy and have her actually have a relationship with him. Make the character able to stand on her own outside of her one pairing. Let KDP have some actual fans of HER and not just fans who only like TnB.
agree with you, Jenn. KDP cannot hold on her own. Not to say that she cannot act. Her acting chops is mediocre, at best. Her popularity soley came from riding RH’s coattail no less. Her fans are TB fans and nothing more. Thats why the actress always cries “Todd will always belong with Blair” or something to that extend. Once RH’s Todd leaves, Blair will just be another one bites the dust so to speak.
Tarlyfan. Perfect name. If you’re twelve.
@Margie. Can’t counter someones comment so you’d take personal dig at them?!! Ok. you sound very mature then.
Yeah that why KDP nominated AFTER RH left OLTL….#think before you type
