Who Will Be Ryan’s Next Victim On General Hospital?

By Michael Fairman

Here;s what we know .. on Monday’s episode of ABC;s General Hospital, Ryan added CarSon, Sonny and Carly, to his hit list of victims.  He wants them out of the the way so Ava can take Avery and leave Port Charles with him and never look back.

Meanwhile, Carly is definitely a threat to figuring out that Kevin is Ryan, given her unrelenting quest and her days at Ferncliff.

Elsewhere, Franco is up to trying to figure out why “Kevin” suddenly dumped him as a patient, and if anyone can come across the lock box in “Kevin’s” office and open it up, therein lies clue to the serial killer’s movesand victims.

But will Port Charles continue to think that “Kevin” is having some sort of breakdown over the anniversary of his twin brother, Ryan’s “death” and heinous killing spree years ago? Will anyone figure out the real Kevin is locked up in a straight-jacket at Ferncliff?

Check out this week’s promo for GH below, and then let us know; who you think will truly be Ryan’s next victim, or will he finally be caught?  And, what have you thought of the performances of Jon Lindstrom in this storyline? Comment below.

Don’t think the clip provides any clues, so who knows. I can’t imagine that he’ll get to kill off Carly or Sonny so my guess is it will be a light tease like when he went after Laura at the gym.

I know a lot of fans are not thrilled with this storyline, but I’m loving it. Jon Lindstrom is playing Ryan posing as Kevin so incredibly well, at times I’m convinced he’s telling the truth! His connection with Ava, while somewhat forced for the sake of the story, is downright chilling after what he did to Kiki. And having a serial killer on the lose in Port Charles might not be such a bad thing; there are several characters I wouldn’t mind seeing meet their maker, starting with Griffin, Willow and Stella.

And the fallout from this story will be epic. When Laura, Ava, Franco and Carly all realize what Ryan has been doing for the last several months, he better watch out! My only hope is that Kevin and Laura can reconcile after all of this is said and done, they deserve a real shot at happiness. They’ve already corrected one misstep by making Laura mayor (like she always should have been), so this is the next step in righting the wrong of firing Genie Francis last year.

Willow hasnt bothered me much yet but the other two, axe them! I think Ava will kill Ryan.

Hi, T,
Yeah….Ava will do a number on Ryan. Retributive justice. ….it’s the only just punishment which would warrant Ava to kill him.
What’s it called?…Oh, yeah; poetic justice!!
Who knows, T….The only two heroines on this show are Carly and Sam. Actually, the only redeeming quality about Carly is her hair, LOL….
Sam? Nothing!! She and Jason are a match made in heaven……
Then, there’s Felicia—-I only know her story ( with Ryan) peripherally. But, wouldn’t she be compelled to bash his head in……with righteous indignation, of course!

You me Carly’s extensions!

Hi, T,
WOW!! Laura’s ( Carly)!hair looks so real. I don’t wear extensions; so, I really wouldn’t know the difference….unless it’s a wig—that would be obvious.
Her hair looks beautiful, nonetheless—and, I love the messy, windblown style.. ….

I agree, either way it looks beautiful!

As much as the numerous haters would love for Sonny and/or Carly to be killed off, we all know the odds of that happening are slightly less than a blizzard here in Hell in mid July.

Sadly, what we are probably looking at here is Frank Valentini’s 666th failed attempt to “redeem” his pet character Frodd “Baldwin” by creating some convoluted scenario in which he “saves” Carly from Ryan’s murderous intentions.

We could get lucky and Ryan kills off Frodd in the process, but I’m not holding my breath.

on the one hand… Franco is telling Ava “I have the mind of a killer”

the next thing you know … he’s near broke up at Kevin telling him it’s best they part ways

before you can expect any thing less… from GH writers … Franco is breaking in to Kevin office looking for reasons why Kevin would let him go. el stupido , no? then Carly happens on the scene and wants to know the exact same thing ?

redeemed Franco has disheveled Kevin office. what a brain tumor. what a show, huh? Loving Jon Lindstrom… he is thee one man show

I KNEW way back in the day… that Roger Howarth was a STAR… HUGE in fact. that big. even fell in love with him.

“…Mar 7, 2012 … Roger Howarth has been signed to a long-term contract with General Hospital. ” THATS 7 – SEVEN – YEARS of try and try again to no avail

you can see how easy these stories are playing out… watching Carly and Franco in Kevin Office… HUH ? so disgusting how they lord over the show. they are DULLARD

I was ^^^^ disgusted with this writing… and production… watching two stars of frank valentini JUST SITTING THEIR in Kevin office… doing nothing of note and why REEL ? OH my god Shelly and Chris, MOVE ON ! Please

I no longer care for Ava that much… unless she somehow gets Custody back for Avery will she have a fuller life

I truly am so over Anna.. as she giddly tells Finn she loves him @the elevator, next thing we know.. she collapses in Peter arms.. and is blind. IS THIS TELLING ? I HOPE SO. soap god… let this be the end of Anna and Finn. they look like brother and sister… she could be his mother.. they emote NOTHING . have Peter and Finn , along with Shelly and Chris, with Frank OK.. SUCK THE LIFE OUT OF ANNA ?

can you believe Sam is penetrating… ooh wait .. has that happened yet.. .. as both pair of eyes are glued to each other come hither. as she realizes she’s the pawn and or star on this story with Shiloh/Hank… now that all the pieces are in place… Sam was married to Hank father… ooh la la how exciting… no fall out here … just anticipating the boring fallout now.. that their is nothing to root for… NOTHING TO ROOT FOR HERE… keep moving.

the list goes on

Oh, Patrick….everything you said and then some. The “some” is Anna and Finn. What the hey?!?! The ‘infancy’ bug has caught up with Anna…..this couple is soooo dopey.
I’d rather not discuss Sam–no juice there, either. What are the fixed stares between her and Jason all about? What are they transmitting to each other? I feel nothing!!
The teens on this show act more like adults than the adults.
…..And….Can someone please smack Lucy?
Jon, Genie and Maura are the only three adults who deserve any adulation. ….as should the younger crowd–all of them are flawless!!

I have always loved Anna Devane, the Emma Peel of daytime but I am afraid you’re both right. Anna is acting dopey and silly. I want her back as the cool, lean, mean fighting machine, karate chopping and round house kicking villains’ butts!

Oh, Lordy Lord, Patrick…..STOP!! I can’t stop laughing!! My stomach hurts from belly-laughing……The Franco and Carly scene is dancing before my eyes, as you describe it….el stupido, no? I can’t…..
I am in the staff lounge, Patrick……everyone is looking at me like I’ve lost my mind!!
You should write your comedy for GH—-ahhh, wait—TPTB are doing a pretty good job at this unintentional comedic schtick!!!!
Anna is ridiculously imitating my thirteen-year-old niece—-all giggles and coyness when in close-range to a “hot” boy!!
I do not like watching her with Finn, Peter, or anyone—-her newfound youth is driving me to stomping my feet and pulling my hair…
SAM–boring; overly-used; overgrown Zena Warrior Princess—-Mamma mia!! Ohhhhhh!! If only Jason’s frigid, fixed stare “penetrating” her eyes, could shoot bullets!!
Sam is a porn star in Shiloh’s story?…. OOPS–pawn star–
Yes!! This will turn out to be another bottomless story….. the only reason the writers come up with these senseless, off-the wall storylines is for the purpose of making their ‘pets’ relevant……”they” cannot conjure up a more valid, interesting plot? Of course, Hank is in PC for Sam….it’s payback time. Am I the only one who does not give a rat’s culo?
Plus, at first glance, I thought Hank was hot—changed my mind….he has tiny, mousy, lifeless, squinty eyes—-
Keep writing, Patrick……too funny and en poine!!

En pointe–error.

I may not like the story, but Jon has been excellent in the role of Ryan. His face says every frightening thing. He is like a chameleon in changing from playng a good guy to becoming a killer.

I agree, Rose.

Like I said before, Jon was wasted sitting alone in the background, not being on contract. GH signed him, wrote a great story and he has been wonderful. Give other vets a chance!

Ryan can’t get caught yet. We still need to see Felicia flip out when she realizes that the man who terrorized her is still alive. They haven’t played her in this yet.

Playing Felicia in this story has been sorely missed. Having Ryan say that he has moved on from her is not good enough. They really need to play her more so it ties the past with the present.

Felicia who?

Granted, this storyline is being dragged out longer than it should be, but I am hoping this murder is going to be his swan song. I’m hoping it’s either Sonny or someone who’s loss will have a major impact to the canvas of General Hospital.

Jon has been the standout actor on this show as soon as Ryan returned. Often on 4 days a week, you can’t take your eyes off him.

There was no need to add Sonny or Carly to the list (or to interject them into the storyline). Good to see more Mac recently, but they really need to bump up Felicia’s airtime right now. She should have been in the room with Finn & Anna when the bandages were removed.

As to whom is next, perhaps it’s a major character who winds up in a coma until the storyline nears its end?

I really like the story at beginning and the potential of the story but now it’s going on to the point where they make everybody look stupid. Makes me crazy when they bastardize characters for a lame plot. The reason we watch these shows is because we are invested in the characters. They need to stay true to themselves. Jon Lindstrom is superb in this role. He was the first time around too but you kind of forget… been a while. The way he can change from Ryan to Kevin and Ryan playing Kevin is brilliant. Whole story was a great idea but my two complaints are that it’s gone on too long and that everybody around Ryan who knew and loved Kevin looks like a fool and that we didn’t see enough of Kevin. It would have really been nice to see both brothers and see how Jom can back and forth. Besides Kevin is the brother that we really care about! His perspective and point of view is the one that we want to see. The fall out of this could be amazing if they just write it because Genie and Jon would kill it, slay it, and that’s what I want to see… all the emotional beats between Laura and Kevin.. having to redevelop their relationship. That could be awesome but GH would really have to invest in Kevlaur. I miss them SO MUCH!! We have been so cheated thus far. Time will tell!

^^^^ YES ! “… It would have really been nice to see both brothers and see how Jom can back and forth. Besides Kevin is the brother that we really care about! His perspective and point of view is the one that we want to see. The fall out of this could be amazing”

^^^^ AGREE… if the writers, were smart.. or an inkling of writing … they coulda woulda shoulda fleshed out both brothers… dual roles to be amazed and gobsmacked at Jon Lindstrom that much more… as the story nears an ending.. to psychologically watch the twin brothers when how where and why all the questions Jon Lindstrom is capable. especially too .. for the love of god.. and history.. because longtime fans do feast on veteran status and presence.. so I’m remaining vigil that this story WITH Jon Lindstrom and Kristina Wagner… with Big Mac in the wings… will carry this story that much more

@Sus – it’s so frustrating for fans… because I truly believe a lot of fans are likeminded… in good show

YES YES YES… just something to be celebratory about. LOVE and more LOVE

gotta quote you again : “…The fall out of this could be amazing if they just write it because Genie and Jon would kill it, slay it, and that’s what I want to see… all the emotional beats between Laura and Kevin.. having to redevelop their relationship ”

as I”ve always posted.. there is so few to like about how this show is written… so many good actors just left out .. because they are obsessed with Carly and Sonny; even Jason and Sam… ugh ! w/Michael, Finn, Franco, Peter

these boards threads are proof that this show is loaded with potential

once this trio of one the best family – Kevin/Laura/Spencer – is back on track… so be it.. this is some the best @GH

I think we all know that the end of Ryan should be soon. I really can’t see another cast member being sacrificed for this SL. I am just betting on myself who will do the honors. Ava I hope, but it could be just about anyone, and that it wont be deemed murder, resulting in prison time.
I hope it’s soon. I want Kevin back with Laura, especially after she told Ryan today that she still loves her husband.

I still have to hand it to Jon Lindstrom : his devilish flippant telling Laura… he wants to commence divorce proceedings… not that he needed a litany of reason

it’s the game you don’t understand

oy… had this been Kevin… that much more sexier… bolder, darker, smoldering

SIMPLY : gosh danged it Frank / Shelly / Chris… WRITE WRITE WRITE YOU HAVE a whole slew of cast that rings it up

YOU DO NOT NEED : carly / sonny / Jason / sam / Michael / finn/ franco/Peter. what is wrong with you three ? effin this show up

how about that scatterbrain Lucy Coe!
