My one and only favorite Diane Jenkins was way back when Alex Donnelley was Diane. Her and Jack would heat up the screen and I still remember her with him in a parked car making out and Y & R would play the John Couger Melencamp song “A little diddy bout Jack & Diane Two American kids doing the best they can”. Oh gosh I wish I could remember the name of that song. That Diane was a model for Jabot and Ashley & her hated each other. JMO but I think she was the best Diane they ever had and she originated the part.

The name of the song is”Jack and Diane’-lol

@Nikki….And don’t forget about the other half of that naughty equation, Terry Lester as Jack Abbott!!!! He played that delicious bad boy to the hilt!!!!! Just as with Alex Donnelly, nothing can touch the original! (Although I have always liked Susan Walters….she was especially suited to her role as Lorna Forbes!)

OMG your so right Shay. Was there anybody that didn’t have a crush on Terry Lester. That’s one of the reasons it took me years to get use to this settled down Jack. He was always a playboy, dating the models and getting poor old John Abbott upset with him. If I had a dime for every time John told Jack to grow up or he had to grow up, I’d be a rich woman by now.

Oh yes, Nikki! TL was my first soap crush….even at a tender age, I always went for those mercurial blond types! Although I only saw him during the summer months, that brief time certainly cemented him in my mind as the one and only Jack Abbott! After his departure from Y&R, I really didn’t watch the show anymore, yet I always kept up with its happenings, thus when I heard that PB was permanently taking over the role of Jack, I knew that despite liking him just fine as AMC’s good guy Dr. Cliff Warner (opposite his lovely Nina….) he would never be able to supplant Terry Lester’s take on the character in my heart. Let’s face it, the dude was an absolutely classic ladykiller….he was just that superb at capturing the true essence of Jack!!!! For me, the current version is simply a watered-down pretender as the crown prince turned king to the Abbott family throne!

She has an incredible resemblance to Robin Riker.

Susan Walters has been a favorite of mine since LOVING. She was awesome on that daytime drama. I like to imagine what would have happened had LVOING caught fire and continued to this day. Lorna Forbes would be an Erica Kane or Viki Lord legacy character with such history. I also liked her as Y&R’s Diane Jenkins. And remember her as Priscilla Presely and on NBC’s buzzed-about 1990s nurses soap NIGHTENGALES? She is amazingly beautiful and a fine actor. Am always happy to see her on screen wherever she pops up!

I think this was a fantastic casting choice. She gives such life to any part she plays.

Susan was sheer perfection as Loving’s determined debutante, Lorna Forbes!!! Always well-attired, classy and impeccably groomed…..how I miss her sort of gorgeous GG that was such a soap staple during daytime’s heyday!

Susan did a good job as Diane it is when they decided to cast MW who would have been twelve at the time the character was created MAB at her worst casting . Susan Walters is a very good actress you know people you don’t have to scream throw yor arms and be a drama queen to be convincing!

Dominic Zamprogna Making A Return To General Hospital

After posting a photo from an empty dressing room, Dominic Zamprogna certainly had General Hospital fans interest piqued!  Turns out, Zamprogna is back shooting at the ABC daytime drama series for what it appears to be a short appearance and reprising his role as Dante Falconeri.

As fans know, Dominic departed GH in 2018, after 9 years in the role.  In the photo he posted on social media, Zamprogna is in one of GH’s temporary dressing rooms for the day.  His original dressing room was re-assigned to Josh Swickard (Chase), when Dom exited the show.

The last time viewers saw Dante was in the Sonny-centric episode; where Dante is the mobster and Sonny is by the book.

In current GH story, the character of Dante has been recently mentioned following his wife, Lulu (Emme Rylan) being stabbed by serial killer, Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom).  Dante’s parents, Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) also discussed his whereabouts. Dante had gone undercover on a major case after leaving Port Charles.

From all reports, it seems that Dominic is making a short return, but it will be more than just a one-day stint.  So, stay tuned.

So, will Dante return to Lulu’s side? Do you hope Dominic’s return means more down the line? Comment below.

‘Empire’s’ Jussie Smollett To Speak For First Time Since Attack On Good Morning America

While the Chicago Police Department continues its investigation into the attack, and a statement from his reps saying that the PD has found his account “consistent and credible”, Empire star Jussie Smollett (Jamal Lyon) will open up for the first time publicly since the hate crime, perpetrated against him.

The interview will air on Thursday’s Good Morning America on ABC.  Robin Roberts was given the exclusive interview with the talented actor/singer.

In a preview for the interview when Roberts asks if at anytime during the attack he feared for his life, Jussie is seen breaking into tears.

According to the LA Times, while Smollett has been cooperating with police, investigators recently rejected his phone records as evidence because they claimed they“do not meet the burden for a criminal investigation as they were limited and heavily redacted.”

In a statement given to Deadline by Smolett’s reps on the situation, and any backlash, they clarified:  “Jussie is the victim here, which has been stated by the Superintendent of Police.  Jussie has voluntarily provided his phone records from within an hour of the attack and given multiple statements to police.  Chicago PD has repeatedly informed us that they find Jussie’s account of what happened that night consistent and credible. Superintendent Johnson has been clear from day one that Jussie is a victim. We are continuing to work closely with the Chicago PD and remain confident that they will find Jussie’s attackers and bring them to justice.”

So, will you be watching Smollett’s interview tomorrow?  Share your thoughts on the developing story via the comment section below.
