Y&R Marks 26 Years As The Number #1 Daytime Drama!
Genoa City still is the top city on the soap opera map, according to news today out of CBS! The Young and the Restless this month has now been the number one daytime drama for 26 years straight, and according to the Nielsen ratings for the week ending December 12th, 2014.
That is quite the accomplishment. Y&R began its winning streak the week of December 26th, 1988. The series now its 41st season has not been unseated for over two and half decades by any other network daytime drama!
According to the ratings ending week of December 12th, The Young and the Restless averaged 4.76 million viewers, up +4% over last week. The program also led the week in both women 25-54 (1.8/12) and women 18-49 (1.2.09).
Season-to-date, The Young and the Restless is daytime’s #1 drama in viewers (5.04m), women 25-54 (2.1/14) and women 18-49 (1.4/10).
So, what do you think of Y&R at number #1 26 year running? Could any other soap opera take the top spot from them? Comment below!
I thought GH could have or maybe in 2015 will dethrone Y&R but either way its nice to see positive ratings for ANY of the four remaining soaps. After three big recasts this year and better writing, Y&R could win the ratings battle for the 27th year in a row!
Well said, Timm. I think Gina Tognoni is a tour de force as the new Phyllis.
I am also enjoying Mariah. In fact, she is a breath of fresh air–I love her sarcasm and tough exterior which is used to hide her vulnerability.
As always, love Jack. Victor needs to find a hobby more suitable for a man of his age. He could go coin and jewel hunting at the park, write haiku in the coffee shop while wearing a beret, or shoplift like mad at the local Walmart.
Better yet, he should be a Wal-Mart greeter– can you imagine walking in and seeing his “happy” face– that would be the best news for the Target next door — LOL
Yes Harry, Gina has done a splendid job. Some say she is a little rough but she has been gone for a year and she isnt too happy what others have done, specifically moving on without her. They may soften her a bit for Christmas. Speaking of softening, yes Mariah is warming up to her mother. She is another one who got dealt a short hand and was full of fire and brimstone! I love her and Kevin together. Victor, how about him running his billion dollar empire! I couldnt imagine Trump getting involved in half the silly things the Mustache gets involved in!
I loved Shick but Nick is so immature so I want Adam with Sharon. They had so much love friendship and chemistry
The Y&R dethroned GH 25 years ago, so it would be fitting if GH reclaimed its throne, but regardless, i hope for 2015 all soaps go up in the ratings.
Mary, I always thought Victor would be an amazing Walmart leader but I think he would scare the children away.
congrats to y&r. 26 years is unheard of.
Please bring back Victoria Rowell. We need Drucilla back and Amber Moore and Daniel
The show has gotten along quite well without VR, I think that will continue.
Go Y&R!!! So happy for the show GT is fantastic and Justin is making Adam his own.
YES! GT is fantastic as Phyliss! Never thought I’d say she’s even better than MS.
And the new Adam! He is the best, loving him, of course I’ll hate him as soon as he does something nasty, but the actor is fantastic.
baw
during the past ’26’ years there have been some really great soaps, really great..
Y&R has had great years and years and not great, yet is was #1 ..
Other soaps, or just one other soap during the 26 years, just once should have been better than Y&R even if for just 1 time..
This past year Y&R stank.. people tuned in to see the new, Billy, phyllis and Adam, not because of great stories LOL
Anyways;
congrats to Y&R for pulling it off, once again… 🙂 CONGRATS!
Numbers do not make a soap great nor do numbers make happy viewers,,
A great soap, a #1 soap, is the soap you love to watch everyday and not FF through half of it… !
ALL the soaps are #1 to their fans.. ) dman the numbers, their soap is #1 ….
Long live the soaps !!! 🙂
HUH?
“Young and the Restless” hasn’t been No. 1 in excellence in about ten or eleven years.
The show should have succumbed to “General Hospital” or “Days of Our Lives” back then.
At this point, it’s just habit for the Nielsen folks.
I have to agree. I myself tuned in to see the new Phyllis, Billy & Adam. I think they are bringing too many people into the show now. I liked it better with Nikki, Victor & the regulars. Now I read where their going to bring in someone else to play Jack’s son Kyle. I really think with the way Bold & Beautiful has the stories lately along with all the travel involved it may pass Y & R next year.
I am simply seeing like this..
ALL fans of DOOL and Y&R, watch both, I’d bet most would agree that DOOL is better than Y&R..
also-
ALL fans of General Hospital and Y&R, watch both, would agree that GH is better than Y&R..
The Y&R fans that do not watch any other soaps than Y&R have no idea that other soaps are better than Y&R…. lol
Suoooo I agree with just about all you said but I also think fans we’re expecting a little more from Y & R this year. I really like the new layout of the outside of the houses. The stories have really improved as well but they should leave some of the stories in the dust( sort to say). I like the new Phyllis from the day she flung opened the church doors Phyllis was born again. Billy Miller was the best but he’s gone and this Billy is doing a great job especially now that he’s getting more story to act out. He’s terrible with Victoria but fantastic with Chelsea. Adam/Gabriel is terrible with Chelsea. The plot in the restaurant where he’s standing starring at her (she blew it) He played it out so well but she looked up and smiled at him this girl who’s suppose to be so in love with Billy. In reality she should have been concerned. The time in the park he says cute kid she says thank you. Are you kidding some strange guy says that to me I’m looking for the cops. She really can’t play off him at all I think its safe to say Chadam is dead however… The story where he talks to Sharon in the coffee shop she actually looks interested in him and he plays off that I think Shadam may come back. What do you think?
Oh come on suZEE Q…people tuned in to see the new Billy, Phylis and Adam…some truth to that…but they stayed and that wouldnt have had happen if the stories were that bad…lol…come on now…its just entertaiment…dont be a complainer…enjoy…lol…su, Happy Holidays from your now no.1 fan!!!
Yes, indeed! Jim, did you see today’s Y&R? It ended with Adam telling Jack he was Adam. It was a riveting scene and the nu Adam is good. He reminds me very much of Michael Muhney’s Adam. There’s a certain look in his eyes.
And of course Peter Bergman brought out the best in him. Great scene–stay tuned.
Hi guys!!!!
I enjoy parts of Y&R..
I do FF dying people.. that crappola is some depressing stuff.. I don’t need/want to see that downer dying stuff..
I like Victor..!!!
I want Pratt to spice it up, give me something to ooww and ahhh about 🙂
Killing off Sharon would be good! I would pay to see that LOL !!
What can I say here.. I like gripping excitement and Y&R has been a big snore this past year,,
I’m putting faith in Pratt !! I know he will kill off someone!
jimh and Harry..
luv posting with both of you !! always a pleasure!!
.. HAPPY HOLIDAYS/CHRISTMAS !!
and all that jolly stuff.. hope Santa is good to you!!
Oh, Harry… I so agree. I knew from the onset that Justin would bring it. He is great, as is Gina. Y&R was the first soap I got ‘into’ as a fourteen-year-old, in boarding school……now, I’m in love with GH. It’s like a book I can’t put down…LOL.
I think Y&R is beginning to get its mojo back, and the grandiose reputation as the number one soap
All I ask Santa is for Neil to get his sight back; rush home (or wherever his baby-doll, duplicitous wife is) with the life-changing news and BOOM, he catches the cheaters and betrayers in the act…..I hope it won’t be his bed…that would be another hard pill to swallow…..actually, the entire Winters family is a hard pill to swallow….well, except for Malcolm. No more Neil drama, please !!
Justin is a great actor…good to see him back in daytime and Kelly Sullivan too…Happy Holidays!!!
@Harry all I can say about the new Adam is he is 2 to 3 inches taller more buff and 10 years younger in the face! Life is grand!
I, for a long time have thought it is not the soaps that can not grab attention is it their name/title..
Young and Restless that title will get some attention especially by younger people..
Days of Our Lives..
That sounds like grandma’s boring diary ..
Then name of the soap, in this era of media, the 21st century would not get the attention of a potential new viewer..
General Hospital..
What does that even say about the soap?
It’s a show that has a hospital, and it’s not an attention grabber to give the essence of the show..
That title couldn’t get the attention of any small crowd to tune in lol ..
the names of the soaps are horrible in this era of media..
soaps/series are noted as ‘Scandal, Revenge, and TV shows with grabbing titles as ‘ The blacklist, Sons of Anarchy, well you all know the titles of the now tv shows, and then to have daytime shows with names of Days of Our Lives, and General Hospital well those titles could not attract anyone under the age of 70/new viewers.. soaps need ”new” viewers..
the soaps could have high millions if they come into the 21st century and had a makeover..
soaps will die if they stay in the 70’s and don’t keep up with modern media, starting with new titles…
That is a very interesting perspective, Miss Sue. Now i have to ask, are you from Another World? Because we only have One Life to Live so be Bold and Beautiful but not so much that you have to check into General Hospital’s emergency room. All My Children are all Young and Restless which is another word for ADHD. They say it’s a matter of genetics and they must medicate. Sigh. It’s hard to get through these Days of Our lives with our ancestors’ Dark Shadows looming over us.
And As the World Turns, we move on with lots of Loving and a dash of Ryan’s Hope.
Harry..
LOL you’re a luvable goofy! and .. HUH??
I can not tell you where I am from or I would vanish.. sssshhhh..
i do vote to spice up the names of the soaps they need a big change and a door opening into the 21st century.. a media makeover..
If Days of Our Lives (sounds like grandma’s diary)
was called ” Nights of Sin… people would click in.. LOL yah betcha 😉
Love it.
very good, Harry!!!
But, Harry. You ‘gotta’ love Su. She is the most entertaining poster on this site. I actually await her comments with bated breath…LOL.
Keep ’em coming, Su….I love it !!!!
Clever post, Harry. I repeat, I love the wry humor.
Oh, lest I forget…I guessed months ago that Su is from Minnesota, Yah? Yah betcha…..
Cee Cee .. lol ya gots meh !!
its said we string the words;
“Have to” is often “hafta,” while “I’m going to” is “eye-mina” and “what are you” is “whatcha” Not Bad” “Naaht Bah-d
The Dragon Speech to text program loves us Minnesotans… LOL
and- syntax is something we put in soap.. yah vul!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!! 🙂 Enjoy!!
(actually, nobody speaks like that, only up in the iron range.. .. but yet..?
Go Y&R
It may have been number one all these years but those ratings represent the number of tvs tuned to that channel. It in no way represents the quality. Over the years, many other soaps were lower rates than y&r but better quality.
yah!!
Quantity is not Quality …
“…It in no way represents the quality. ”
ditto
Not to rain on Y&R’s parade because clearly it continues to do very well after all these years. But honestly this streak is a bit overrated, IMO. After all, it’s obviously much easier to stay at the top of this genre now since there are so few daytime dramas left. I truly think that what ATWT accomplished decades ago (it was #1 for 20 straight years from 1958-78) was more impressive because there was so much more competition in the genre in those days. Just saying.
That’s an excellent point, Chris.
Not to mention that what Y&R has managed to do during those 26 years includes fighting upstart soaps, like my beloved SANTA BARBARA or something like PASSIONS, which is easier to do because the new shows did not have established fan bases. And, well, where are those aforementioned shows, sadly?
Y&R benefits from its time slot. Easy to watch at lunch! Show is not top quality but Y&R has loyal fan base and strong legacy.
Congrats to Y&R!
Y&R = THE gold standard in daytime dramas in both viewers and quality for over a quarter century! That is quite the amazing feat!
As for the others, haters will hate, and losers will lose.
Go Y&R!
ad nauseam
be that as it may
I will soapbox
CBS can grandstand all they want…
GH and DAYS stratosphere … leave behind the once heralded
I find lately that if I turn on Y&R, I am sucked in for the full hour, which has not been the case for a long time. That’s mainly due to Gina Tognoni, Justin Hartley, Kelly Sullivan, Eileen Davidson, Tracey Bregman and Christian LeBlanc. Heck, even this downtown development plan has made Steve Burton and Jessica Collins more interesting. (And almost made Cain and Lily bearable. Sorry, they bore me to tears.) I think Burgess Jenkins’ Billy will become more interesting when he’s truly engaged with fighting Adam. It seems like the writing is emphasizing Billy’s serious side now, which should contrast well with Adam’s lack of control. Y&R is positioned really well for 2015. Of course, I’ll never be a true fan because my least favorite characters are Victor and Nikki, LOL! Just tired of them.
the actors you plug… are mind blowing…
phyllis, adam, sage, ashley, Lauren, and michael….
i’d throw in Constance
and you’ve got a smorgasbord
even Kelly morphs
I will be the first to admit, I have “NO RESPECT” for Jill Farren Phelps. That said, I’m loving GT as “Nu Phyllis” and JH as “Nu Adam” they are really bringing it. BJ as “Nu Billy” is not even close to being Billy. He’s a good actor but lacks the chops to play this role. Kelly Sullivan is a great addition. I’m curious to see what will happen when the new co-executive producer/head writer takes over. Hopefully this will spell the end for JFP and her reign of terror. Congrats Y&R!
Former Sony employee and supporter and lover of the remaining soap operas on the air, including two Sony properties (Y&R and DOOL), but let’s all hope that this hack will not cause Sony to abandon these soaps and other intellectual properties to save money because lord knows they are going to be hurting financially once the dust settles on this hacking scandal.
so far Sony is out a 100 million..
I don’t see it see affecting TV, but ya never know…
I think the sponsors of a show would have a say??
Well, more like 1.2 BILLION!
With the release of all our SSNs, emails, home addresses, health information, there will be major ramifications. There are already two class action suits. Sony just settled one with Playstation. Not playing THE INTERVIEW in theaters will cost at least 75 million.
The company just went through another round of layoffs last year
Not to mention that it was not that long ago that investor, Loeb, wanted them to spin off the entertainment portion to another company.
All I am saying is that the soaps better continue to be money makers or I see Sony no longer producing them to cut costs. There have been rumors for a long time that the networks do not want the soaps. The affiliates want their time back. I hope it does not come to that, but I think we would be ignorant to just think it would never happen.
And another thing, I am surprised none of the actors, past or present, from either soap, have been asked by the soap media what they think about having their private information out there and I know, for sure, it is. I have seen the tree from the first data dump that lists the files and they had just about every deal memo for DOOL and Y&R for the last 10 years. Poor James Reynolds was mentioned many times for his years of service. I wonder if they have all had to freeze their credit and get credit monitoring like the rest of us.
Not surprising at all since it really doesn’t have any competition.
Whenever anyone or anything is successful at what they do there will be those who will try to demean the accomplishment — regardless of the why, the fact is they have been in the spot for 26 years, and no matter what happens tomorrow nothing changes what they have done. I think to keep that position during some really rocky leaderships is quite the legacy of the Bells who built up a loyal and large fan base that even when many dropped away they still had enough to keep their spot.
Probably YR will stay #1 until they all fade away! As for me I pulled the plug today I only had Y&R left on my DVR and I watched two weeks in 1 Hour. Pathetic! Have a Happy Holiday Season and the best things to happen to all in the New Year!
I am going to say that over the last few weeks and even a couple of months, Y&R has been good. Phyllis and Adam recasts are perfect. Love the new sets popping up and enjoy the pairings on the show.
I do wish for the new year some differences though. Neil may be blind but its disrespectful to people who are blind that they are making Neil DUMB, as well. I can understand Lily not knowing the truth about Devon and Hillary because Cane was never a loyal individual to her in cluing her in on anything. But to make Neil constantly udder what amount to “Mike Brady”-isms borrowed from the BRADY BUNCH movies while his wife screws his son RIGHT in front of him is dumb. WISE UP NEIL… and thats to the writers.
Adam back is amazing and recast can’t be better. But I am not interested in seeing the redux of Delia’s death and whether Adam did it or not. I would really prefer seeing Adam come back and knocking on the door of that woman who said she saw Adam’s SUV hit delia and then drive off and telling her HE KNOWS SHE REALLY KILLED DELIA. Get the fact that adam is NOT a child killer done with now.
Last but not least, Crimson Lights may be a shop thats been around for 15 or more years but the previous owner almost closed it cause of bankruptcy issues and NO CUSTOMERS and no one in town tried to help. Dylan is crying because he has NO plan B for work and not cause a coffee house is an institution. As always, this VIOLENT and aggressive character needs others (Hi, Daddy, Mommy and soon to be wifey) fighting for him other than the writers copping onto the fact that he needs a plan b. (PLus warehouse district in the midwest reads to me as RUN DOWN, DANGEROUS and empty lots everywhere, not historic or landmarked.)
You bring a smile to my face, Su…you are like a splash of sunshine. It must be fun being you…never change. Your enthusiasm and loyal support of GH is like a contagion….I’m hooked.
Best of the Season to you and yours also….later.
CeeCee !
You’re a happy person, it’s always a good time posting with you 🙂
Wonder what 2015 will bring for us.. I’m sure whatever it will be great!
………….. HAPPY HOLIDAYS !!!
(hope Santa is good to you 🙂
@Nikki.
I agree with you, Nikki. I never really felt a spark between old Adam and Chelsea….not the way he and Sharon meshed, romantically or sexually. There really is nothing forthcoming in that department from Chelsea with anyone. In my opinion, as pretty as she is, Chelsea does not have the ‘it’ factor with anyone. I have yet to grow any positive feelings for nuBilly. It has nothing to do with Billy Miller….I could/would have gotten used to a new role-player, as I did with Gina Tognoni as Phyllis. This guy just does not cut it for me.
Perhaps he and Chelsea are good together because they are both as bland as oatmeal or polenta.
Yes, the scene in the park was weird. I have a seven-month old, and if a stranger approached me and my baby, I would also report the incident….especially these days. The park and school areas are a Mecca for pedophiles. Chelsea is ‘ditzy’ anyway, so the incident does not surprise me. You’re right, I do not see how nuAdam can recapture what he has lost, family-wise.
Nonetheless, inasmuch as the viewer witnessed a little ‘exchange’ between nuAdam and Sharon, I hope it does not come to fruition. That relationship was fetid….bad stuff brought them together from the onset…..bad omen!!!!
Perhaps he should remain a bachelor for a while….scan the landscape, LOL….I am sure Su would say the same thing, as she has repeatedly said of Jason Morgan…..I agree. But, when there is one’s very own child to consider…..that theory takes an entire different concept. ….hard to keep away from one’s child.
I actually believe Nick and Sharon belong together…..but, they both get on my nerves. She with her excuses, he with his holier-than-thou attitude. I am not a Sharon fan, but to be fair, what is Nick’s problem? She was ill…and, by his own words, he told her that whatever the ‘secret’ was, she could approach and confide in him without fear….that he loved her; that he would understand. Lovers, husbands and wives etc. should be each-other’s best friend…..
Happy Holidays.
You might be first now but things can change very quickly especially if the “oldies” keep getting let go. Rumor is Michael is going to General Hospital. So, if this happens I have promised myself I will not Y & R anymore. I’m sure I’m not the only one
I LOVE what news like this does to the haters! Y&R is the number one show for a reason; best production values, best actors, best writing, directing, etc. Bow down before the Y&R behemoth!!

‘General Hospital’s’ Steve Burton Shares Reaction to His Lead Actor Daytime Emmy Nomination, ‘It Was to Honor Leslie Charleson’

The 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Award nominations kicked-off on Monday with the announcements of four major categories including, Outstanding Lead Performer in a Daytime Drama Series — Actor, and among the nominees is General Hospital’s Steve Burton (Jason Morgan).
Burton is already a two-time Daytime Emmy winner in the Supporting Actor category for his roles as GH’s Jason and his turn as Dylan McAvoy on Y&R. However, Steve is yet to win in the Lead Actor category and he has received 11 nominations along the way in his daytime career.
Following the reveal that he is a 2026 Daytime Emmy nominee, he and his GH co-star, podcast co-host and comedy show partner, Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) taped a special edition of their That’s Awesome podcast just featuring Burton’s reaction to the news.

FOR LESLIE CHARLESON
Steve expressed, “I know it’s such a cliche to say, ‘I’m just so honored to be nominated.’ But truly, I’m so grateful to be nominated, so grateful to just be on the show off and on for 30 plus years and to be nominated with the guys in my category. Just to get the opportunity. Frank (Valentini, executive producer, GH) texted me right away. I was just like, ‘Thank you for the opportunity to get to do what I do.'”
Taking in the moment, Burton thanked those who helped him select the material for his nominated reel. “Unless you win, you don’t get to say things. So. I’m going just say a few things: Elizabeth Korte (co-head writer, GH) helped me a lot with the material, (as did) Michelle Henry, who’s a producer on the show, Laura Wright (Carly, GH), and then my wife Michelle (Lundstrom). I believe it was Jill Phelps who told me that when A Martinez felt like he had a great show or great scenes, he would mark it down. So, when Emmy time comes, you have all the show numbers written down, and you don’t have to think about it, because that’s half the battle (finding the material).
Burton explained how meaningful this nomination is for him, because of playing the scenes of Jason losing Monica, and his closeness with the late, great Leslie Charleson.
“The nomination’s an amazing thing, and it’s beautiful, but really it’s to honor Leslie Charleson. A lot of my material was because of her, and how I started on the show as a Quartermaine, it just means a ton,” shared Burton. “Maurice Benard (Sonny, GH) has obviously has been instrumental, and I’ve said it from day one and I’ll shout it from the rooftops. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be here, and to be working with the people that we work with is incredible.”

SHOULD JOHN OLIVER BE NAMED HOST OF THE DAYTIME EMMYS?
During the end of his conversation with Anderson, Steve suggested that the host of the Daytime Emmy should be Last Week Tonight’s John Oliver, who recently guest starred as the head of the WSB named Z on General Hospital, and is soon to show up on Days of Our Lives in a mystery role in August.
Thus far, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has not revealed their host for the upcoming ceremony to be held on October 30 in a venue to be named in Hollywood, California.
You can watch Steve sharing his reaction to receiving his 2026 Lead Actor Daytime Emmy nomination below on a special segment on the That’s Awesome podcast.
Now let us know, are you glad that Steve chose scenes surrounding Jason mourning the loss of the woman that raised him, Monica Quartermaine for his Emmy reel? What do you think of John Oliver as a suggestion to host the Daytime Emmys? Weigh-in via the comment section below.

‘General Hospital’ Marks Unprecedented 16,000th Episode Milestone with New Cast Photo

Today’s Monday, July 13 episode of General Hospital marks it 16,000 episode to air on the ABC television network. It is a remarkable milestone. The previous television record was held by Guiding Light which clocked in at 15,762 episodes before it went off the air on CBS in 2009.
To mark the occasion, the cast, crew and creative team of General Hospital celebrated with a cake-cutting ceremony on the Prospect Studios lot in Los Angeles back on Monday, June 1, 2026.
In addition, GH has released a new cast photo taken the day of the on set celebration. Pictured in the photo are front row: Rory Gibson, Finn Carr, Kayden Brenna Tokarski, Asher Antonyzyn, Giovanni Mazza, Braedyn Bruner, Dean Geyer and Nathan Dean.
Featured in the back row are: Tabyana Ali, Eden McCoy, Josh Swickard, Kristen Vaganos, Rebecca Herbst, Dominic Zamprogna, Alexa Havins, Cameron Mathison, Brooke Kerr, Cynthia Watros, Steve Burton, Finola Hughes, Jane Elliot, Maurice Benard, Laura Wright, Maura West, Donnell Turner, Nancy Lee Grahn, Tanisha Harper, Kelly Thiebaud, Kristina Wagner, Lynn Herring, Chris McKenna, Katelyn MacMullen and Sawandi Wilson.
In addition, the official GH social media handles shared these sentiments along with some other photos from the cake cutting: “Today’s episode of General Hospital is the 16,000th produced since the show’s inception in 1963. It’s a milestone we couldn’t let pass by without taking some time to celebrate as a family (and, of course… eating some cake). 🍰 We hope you enjoy watching it as much as we did making it.”
WHAT WILL HAPPEN ON THE 16,000th Episode?
The 16,000th episode will feature Jason Morgan returning to the town of Port Charles, Anna and Valentin (James Patrick Stewart) reuniting, and a new surgeon, Dr. Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer) joining the staff of ‘General Hospital.’
GENERAL HOSPITAL HOLDS SEVERAL RECORDS
Now in its 64th year, Emmy Award-winning daytime drama General Hospital is currently both the longest-running scripted American drama and the longest-running American soap opera currently in production.
General Hospital holds the record for the most Outstanding Daytime Drama award wins, taking home the prestigious Daytime Emmy Award a record 18 times. Will they do it again and make it 19 in 2026? Stay tuned for the 53rd annual Daytime Emmy nominations tomorrow on Tuesday, July 14 to find out if GH will be going for gold in the category, once again.
The ABC daytime drama series was created by Frank and Doris Hursley and premiered back on April 1, 1963. Frank Valentini is the current executive producer with Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten are the show’s co-head writers.
General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC and streams on Hulu.
What do you think of the new cast photo marking General Hospital’s 16000th episode? What do you think of the accomplishment to have that many episodes of a television show and its still thriving and kicking? Share your thoughts and congrats for everyone in front of the camera and behind the scenes on this milestone airing.
