Next week on The Young and the Restless it looks like Daisy’s (Yvonne Zima) days in Genoa City are coming to a serious end, with so many people wanting to get rid of the nasty girl! But who will actually be the person to drive her out of town or drive her to an early grave?

Could it be Nick or Phyllis who blame the girl for the loss of their baby? Daniel who had put up with more than enough from her manipulations? Ricky, who has been using her to get what he needs, but needs her to keep her mouth shut? Lauren, who has been freaked out about Daisy for the past few years for all she represents and all she has done to her and her family?

After the jump watch next week’s promo for Y&R and let us know after you take a peek who you think will be the culprit and catalyst to get this most unpopular of characters finally off the canvas?  And let us know did Y&R keep Daisy on way too long? Or, have you enjoyed the recent twists and turns revolving around her?

Thank God that this next week is Yvonne Zima’s last week on Y&R as Daisy, an actress who cannot act her way out of a paper bag! I could care less who kills her character off just as long as she’s dead for good! Y&R kept her on the canvas way too long and her demise is a long time coming. Whoever kills her off will be a hero in my book!

Amen to that!

Your definitely entitled to your opinion, but I think that’s being a little harsh to say she can’t act. I think she’s doing her best work yet these past few weeks. Anyone who can hold there own around The Stafford has got to be doing something right. I’m loving this storyline right now!

Kalamaty, here’s what I think about your “Your (sic………get it right grammatically…………you’re) definitely entitled to your opinion…….” (Chewing on your comment for a moment) Now, regurgitating it and throwing up in your lap!

That’s what I think of your above statement.

OH SNAP!

Hey from what the spoilers say she disappears how do we know she is dead? This is MAB & the crew writing remember!

I will also add Phyllis could disappear for a while I am Phyllis fatiqued she is on almost every day a few others also and I would say Sharon too but this Sharon on my screen is not the one I adored for years so she has already disappeared LOL!!

I loved loved loved Daisy on the show!!! She has a looooong future on this show Michelle Stafford is so over move over we have a new girl in town to grow old with!!! She also has Mary aka Ericia Love Joy James and Shelia’s other daughter and Diana Massimo and Shelias other daughter. These are Daisy and Ryder’s half siblings. The legend of Shelia the most best villan on daytime to live on through her children! SAVE YVONNE ZIMA Dasiy Carter!!! I have watched this show for 34 long years I know what I’m talking about! Also Sash Green is disfigured and survived the fire and is the real killer of Dr. Tim Reid!!! She is back for revenge on Phyllis!!!

Yvonne as Daisy has been so enjoyable and more interesting in a long long time! BRAVO on Daisy!!! MORE MORE MORE!!! I hear Emmy for Yvonne Zima someday!!!

If they had someone in the role who could actually act it may have been fun to watch. But Zima and Kristen Stewart should really pursue other interests!

I hear and smell a Emmy for Yvonne Zima! Bravo on daisy Y&R! Been watching for 34 long years I know what works! This character has a long life left in her! 2 sisters she has has to be brought in also. This girl is the next Phyllis!!!

I believe it will be either Daniel or Ricky doing her in If it is Ricky he will try to blame it on Phylliss

No one killed Daisy you will see!

I think Ricky will kill her but will frame someone else.

I’ve been pretty fair to Y&R ovet this last year, I gave them a pass with Maura West, excused Victor and Sharon, but Swear to god If THEY HAVE ANOTHER wHO dN iT??? I’m done with this show FOREVER!!!!

Bye Bye Lol

I really feel sorry for Daisy. She has been in a no win situation since she came back to town with Phyllis help. Maybe this actress is not the best on the show, but she is sure not the worst. I don’t blame Daisy for Phyllis losing her baby. The way they treat her, I would have left her laying on the floor myself. Now that Michael is D.A., a person who along with his wacky family, have committed almost every crime in the book, wife goes and buy another gun, under the table, no less. None of these people take responsibility for anything they do, especially crazy Phyllis. One thing I give Daisy credit for, she sure got Phyllis number.

Part of me agrees with everything you said, BETTYEJ. And then I really wish Daisy had not listened to Phyllis out in the hall like that. She had me thisclose to feeling sorry for her.

I guess when your character is hated that much and fans are screaming for your dismissal, it doesn’t matter whether they can redeem you or not because you just do not stand a chance.

I just hope Phyllis does get her just desserts in all of this with Ricky (it’s been a long time coming) and that IF this becomes another Who Done It that they do not drag it out as long as they did with the Diane Jenkins one. That was just painful.

I can see the writing on the wall. Daniel will believe Phyllis and most likely so will Nick. They both will stand by her side no matter what she does. I hate how they have put both Daisy and Ricky in the same box and that they both are going to bite the dust. They are the only people in town that see Phyllis as she really is.

I love Daisy they have a making for a new Phyllis her plus she has 2 half sisters Mary aka Ericia Love joy and Diana. also there is Ryder. Shelia’s children have to live on! I loved watching her act!!! Yvonne is great as Daisy boy is she convincing. I don’t say that about everyone. 34 years i have been watching this show! Peier Porte Ricky IS Christian Grey for the movie Fifty Shades of Grey!!!

Well it is too late for Daisy now. It is a shame because I guess I was blind as I did not see Yvonee Zima being such a bad actress, especially since she was such front burner lately which really made her shine (IMO).

And same for Peter Porte. He is so wicked he is good. It will be a shame to lose him too.

The same thing was like that with Angelina. The characters are really terrible until they get their walking papers and then they give their best performances or get their best writing.

I don’t understand how so many people in Genoa City have done MUCH worse things than Daisy, yet Daisy is hated so badly. Phyllis was (and, quite frankly, still is) a complete whack-job with no sense of self-control. Michael was a rapist and a sociopath, and now he’s the D.A. Kevin committed statutory rape, tried to burn Colleen to a crisp, was a robber, and yet he was redeemed. Do not get me started on all of the Newmans, specifically Victor, and their deeds that go unpunished. I just find it insane that characters like Jana, Diane, and Daisy, all who have much lesser sins than other characters, are cast out and killed off. This brings me to my next point- ANOTHER MURDER MYSTERY? SERIOUSLY? Maria Areana Bell is ruining her father-in-law’s legacy, I sincerely hope she knows that because her “storytelling” abilities are severely limited. This is yet another “murder” that no one cares to watch and that will go on and on for months- what part of this is a good soap? Y&R really needs to shape up. Its quickly losing audiences and is failing in quality- this “new” storyline being a prime example of that.

And Kevin just doesn’t seem to learn anything either. Just when you think he will keep his nose clean, he gets into trouble with Genevieve. He will never learn.

You know it will be a matter of time before Michael bends the law to protect someone while he is serving as DA. He will have a muddied career.

I’m with you, please not another mystery. Just let Daisy slip and hit her head or something. Let the viewers know. Keep the Genoa City residents in suspense if you must.

I did hear, whether true or not, that they learn that Daisy was not even related to Sheila when Ronan comes back. I wonder what difference that would make if true.

Well, when Ryder came to town, he and Kevin had blood tests done to ‘prove’ that they are all related. If your rumor proves true, let’s see MAB and her co-hacks try to retcon the retcon they created years ago…

Who cares? As long as she is dead and gone for good!!! Sick to death of this character, and am so ready for her to be gone off the canvas.

I like Daisy and I wish they’d throw Phyllis in jail for her murder, she’s done far worse then Daisy ever did!

Another whodunit ? !
It will be Professor Plum in the library – with a wrench or perhaps Mrs. Peacock in the hall with a rope.
Who knows -who cares ??
There are several suspects….important things – Daisy GONE and that dastardly Ricky is leaving too – YAY !!
Good things – yummy Jeff Branson (Ronan) will be back in town soon.

I like Daisy’s character. She looks like she capable of anything at anytime. I think Yand R needs her for unexpected twists and turns from time to time. And to stick it to Phyllis. I hope the just let her leave town with her daughter after she does something to repay Daniels lying and game playing.

Probably Ricky. I mean, the others are regulars. I’m just not looking forward to another story where we have lots of prison scenes. We were punished enough with the Sharon trials. And it was a trial!

I liked that they used Daisy to mirror the younger Phyllis. It helped remind (or inform) the audience that Phyllis started out as a much different character. Not that I am thrilled with the character of Ricky but, I hope if she is killed he didn’t do it because it is far too obvious. I hope it is Eden so they can write off that waste of a character. Not one of the actresses who have played the part have ever made Eden anything but annoying.

While I am at it…haha…not impressed with the kid playing Fenmore. How old have they made him? He looks, minimally, 17 but I thought he was going to be about 13. Same goes for Summer..though she could pass for a mature 13/14.

Young and Restless thoughts: It’s a good idea to get rid of Daisy. She is/was an ill-conceived, one-dimensional character. Another murder mystery would be interesting, but I know MAB cannot write good regular story, and she is especially bad at writing murder mysteries. What would be interesting is to have a murder mystery where someone we like accidentally gets killed, instead of the obvious villain whom no one cares about. THAT would be a twist.

I don’t like the rapid aging thing. I know all soaps seem to do it, but it is jarring, and we too often end up with a sweet child who has gone to camp or boarding school and returned a selfish, unlikeable, ungrateful teenager/young adult.

Eileen Davidson leaving again: not a good idea. She plays a core/legacy character, and she deserves some respect. Plus she is one of the most beautiful, talented women to have every graced the television screen.

Characters who need to go: Tucker, Genevieve, Cane, Harmony, Sarge, Sophia, Carmine, etc. All talented or somewhat talented individuals but don’t fit in well in the GC canvas.

Jared agree 100% I was afraid to say it because these actors that portray these characters are popular, just because you are good as a character on another cancelled soap and you won an emmy does not mean you fit on another one to fire ED and leave Debbie Morgan, Stephen Nichols, Genie Francis etc still on is STUPID I know they were good on GH,AMC,Days but i don’t care this is Y&R to be perfectly blunt it STINKS!! !And I love Genie but I have never warmed up to Genevieve and it is not her fault just the way it is and Harmony/Yolanda was not important enough to recast Debbie Morgan in the role sorry not a slam to the actors just the way I feel.

Agree that there are several characters who are not necessary….in part because they are just not written well.

Sophia became a one-note character whose only lines seemed to consist of “……my husband……baby Moses……..”.

Tucker is not that exciting a character. I think in part it is SN delivery. He always seems like he just woke up. Being Katherine’s son the character had potential but has been wasted. With Eileen Davidson leaving there are few female characters to pair him with….unless they plan a Tucker/Harmony/Neil/Sarge quadrangle. And, frankly….who cares….

Debbi Morgan was always enjoyable on AMC and Generations however, I find her beyond irritating on Y&R. I just want her to go away.

It took a while but I have grown to like Genie Francis as Genvieve. Plus, with Jill off the canvas until at least the Fall, they need another female in that age bracket. Especially, with ED leaving. Niki can’t be the only 50-something around.

And, she may be popular but the character of Chloe is another hum-drum presence. They took away her conniving, scheming ways and she has just become boring. Her petty conflicts with Abby aren’t enough to give the character spark.

Really, MAB…break the bank, swallow your pride and bring Drucilla back in the form of Victoria Rowell. Off screen she isn’t one of my favs but, as Drucilla she had chemistry with everyone she interacted with…from Phyllis to Neil to Victor.

Well I would enjoy VR coming back but when you have actors relatively getting away with telling you who to hire etc it is not going to happen their are at least 3 actors bawling like babies when it was mentioned that VR might come back. Off screen she was a pain but she delivered the goods on screen. But she was not the only Diva on this soap what did they use to say about beleiving your own hype. LOL!!

I totally agree with everyone on most points. Some of these individuals are great performers, but even the best performers cannot deliver the goods if the writing is not any good. Also, they were good on their other shows, but Y&R has its own greats, who have worked on this show for decades and who deserve better. As for VR, I hope she never returns. I think she was a disruptive presence, and I’m one of those on the other side of the aisle who would totally stop watching if she were to return. Sorry, but that’s my opinion, and I have a right to it! 🙂

If Phyllis was redeemed, why not Daisy?

Oh yeah, she is the spawn of Sheila and Tom, so automatically no redeeming value. Once Daisy is dead, what story is there for Lauren? It seem lately all her stories are related to Sheilia. Will Sheila Rise?

Also a month ago, Lauren was desperate to protect Fenn from Daisy, and now he is all grown up and she welcomes him back with open arms? Huh?

I said it weeks ago, Ricky kills her and either frames Phyllis or Daniel.

Yawn.

This is gonna make the Diane murder mystery look like Sherlock Holmes.

Maybe this storyline is a part of a housecleaning in Genoa City… of wayward plots and unnecessary characters. We can only hope. New stories and characters are welcome and necessary but Y&R has disappointed of late. Sure, there have been some ties to history but the long-term payoffs of stories has been disappointing (Philip is alive and gay; all that mess with Cain being dead or not; the Diane Jenkins debacle; any Sheila legacy plots).

Once upon a time, Y&R shifted from the original core characters to Abbots and Newmans. Is this an opportunity to do something like this again?

WHO CARES?? AS LONG AS SHE’S GONE!!

HOORAY – ANOTHER HORRID MARIA ARENA BELL-CREATED GO-NOWHERE CHARACTER BITES IT!

I’ve said this before and I will say it for a long time to come: I WILL NEVER, EVER BUY THE HALF-BAKED, INCOHERENT PLOT PEG OF DAISY & RYDER BEING THE OFF-SPRING OF TOM FISHER AND SHEILA CARTER – NEVER!!

I SMELL ANOTHER ILL-CONCEIVED ‘MURDER’ MYSTERY BY M.A.B. AND HER CO-HACKS – DO YOU?? THE STENCH OF PRE-MATURE FAILURE PERMEATES NOW…!!

I don’t mean to digress, but why did the writers have Michael allude to the fact that Paul sired Ricky AFTER his hit-and-run injury in ’94? Are we supposed to believe that Ricky is under 18?! First they SORAS the character ridiculously (he should actually be about 9 or 10 at the most), then they stupidly remind viewers that he couldn’t possibly be that age. More sloppy, thoughtless writing from MAB and company.

Who cares about the SORAS .- it´s a show and means nothing. As long as they get good storylines it dosent matter. It´s not reality – they dont shop grosery, thet never clean, they never tired and so on…. It´s entertainment – enjoy it with a smile 🙂

HEAR, HEAR!! The needless and unnecessary SORAS’ing of offspring has REALLY gotten out of hand on “Y & R” – yesterday’s show was a great example of how convoluted the show’s timeline has become thanks to MAB and her co-hacks!!

Remember when Abby & Daisy were in the same school b4 they SORAS’ed Abby?!? How bad was that?? Now Summer is a teenager and she was born 4 years ago in 2007 during the ice storm….

Just bad all around – watching this show lately is like watching a runaway train about to hit a barrier – sooner or later, it’s gonna happen but you watch anyway. Keeping MAB as EP & Head Writer has proven to be a train wreck unto itself!!

why is this thing lasting so long.dasiy and ricky needs to be outed.shoron victor thats to messed up all this people do is fall in love with onenother that is so sick.if theese kids turn out to egglings instand of siblings you no why.phillis, oboy! jack an nicky really.hurry up and bring this storyline to a end and do something with adam and that girl from amc, that really dont look good.

why did yall make vicktor out to be mob like that doesnt fit him,I know victor had his way of doing things but he wasnt like this.jack started this war between him and victor when he put hjs father company on market he got mad because victor bought it jack useto be just like billy a lus for wemen and druck every time he thougt he didnt think if you no what I mean/ and he still dont.

get rid of ashley she can’t

The writing needs to improve. Daisy could have given Michael a clue on the phone. Meet me in the alley. Can you say”death wish?”

Does anyone think it will be NONE of the obvious (Lauren, Phyllis, Nick, Daniel) and will be Carmine instead?

I bet he mowed her down with his car trying to high-tail it out of Genoa City … that is unless they show Daisy with a gunshot or shoved into a dumpster or something. If they find her just laying somewhere, I say CARMINE did it. It would be so easy to blame him because he is not a main character.

Phyllis is totally sickening, Can`t act a little bit. Sharon is dating her grandfather ( Victor) Might as well be. Jack is a pain in the butt. Just a cry baby. Nickie makes me sick with her self rightous attitude. Lauren is in a total turmoil but i like her part. Not overly dramatic. The brat Victors kid needs her azz spanked and needs to feel the pain she causes her Dad. Billy is another pain in the butt. Victoria is a spoiled selfish brat and never sees her Dads good intentions only his bad side.Get rid of Daisy her story is old and burnt out. I think Rickey is nuts but like his story line. It could get interesting if written right. Adam saw the light , laughs.. Neal. omg Hes always right and plays the goody goody part while hes tapping every female he can. Another one who can`t act at all. Tucker, just throw him over the balcony and sophia after him, But first get Tucker a hair cut lol..Start writing some new and interesting stories , New characters.. Not teens..or soon we will lose Y & R. 🙁 I hope that day doesn`t come for years and years. Final word.. BRING BACK SoapNet Please

I love Yvonne Zima as Daisy Carter. To me if everyone hated her so much than she did her job well. I want to wish her the best in what every she decides to do. She is a great actress and I would love to see her in more parts. Good Luck to you Yvonne and many Blessings your way.

Now as far as the Y&R, I am sick and tired of them having to go in the past to draw up their story lines. Where is the creativity? Give me something new. The Phyllis thing is stupid. The Ricky story is interesting but I just pray they don’t linger it too long and go around in circles with it for months. All the other characters are boring as well and it like a big orgie pool. Now Sharon is with Victor and Nicki is with Jack. How many times does this make. Get real. Genoa City must be no bigger than a minute with no other people than what you see. No one comes to visit. A HOT MESS. The Adam story is sick. He does all this mess and we wait for him to get punished and what happens he goes free on EVERYTHING!!! Oh and where is Drucilla? They have brought back every last character possible from the past as well as remembered the dead except Drucilla. I don’t understand the Neal line, what did Sophia do to deserve what she got. The character of Neal is so crazy. I have not met a Black man yet that will tell the truth about having feelings for another woman and TELL HIS WIFE ! (Hmm) Yeah seen the movie Insomnia? Nor a woman (espeically a Black woman) who would put up with that S#!#!! Are you kidding me!!

I don’t know I am still trying to hold some form of hope for this soap but it is wearing my down.

I would (probably) be okay with this s/l if I knew who killed Hightower, Skye and Diane Jenkins. I was so lost in the kidney donations, the murder in Hawaii having jurisdiction in GC and the knitted pillows I never figured those out. Ugh, I would really love to be a passive viewer to my soaps again but there is only so much belief one can suspend.

GH and OLTL Alum Patrick J. Gibbons Reveals the Story Behind Writing Trina’s Song on ‘General Hospital’ (Exclusive)

Patrick J. Gibbons

At the conclusion of today’s August 21 episode of General Hospital, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) sings a lullaby to baby Dez, that went into a montage to close out the episode as her father Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) reports to Pentonville and winds up in his jail cell.

However, in a fun fact, the song entitled, “A Lonely Heart To Give” was actually written by none other than former One Life to Live and General Hospital actor, Patrick J. Gibbons.

Daytime fans first met Gibbons as Sam Manning on One Life to Live. At the time, when he started on the soap, he was just 5-years-old. Gibbons played the part from 2010-2013 on ABC and Prospect Park’s editions of the show. Fast-forward to 2018, Gibbons shows up on General Hospital as Wyatt Hoover, the scout who seemed always be injured, but in the thick of the drama. Patrick had appeared on GH multiple times as Wyatt including: 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023.

FROM HIS GRANDMOTHER’S DEATH CAME THE INSPIRATION FOR HIS SONG

Now in 2026, General Hospital fans are getting to learn about another side of Gibbons’ talent as a songwriter and guitar player after “A Lonely Heart to Give” debuted today! Michael Fairman TV caught up with Patrick, who is now a senior at Penn State entering his final year as a finance major, to get the back-story of how his song wound up on GH!

Gibbons explained he wrote the song in honor of his grandmother who passed away a few years ago with whom he was, very, very close with. “Randomly, my grandmother had a downfall and passed away during the second semester of my sophomore year. I was in my dorm a lot and I was just playing with my guitar. And at the time, I was really into finger-style playing. I wrote the lyric and music to it (with a little help from my guitar teacher Lou), and my mom showed the rough demo to Frank Valentini (EP, General Hospital). He’s like an uncle to me. Frank loved it so much he said, “Finish that up. I want to hear the whole thing, and I want it on the show.”

MAKING MUSIC FOR GENERAL HOSPITAL

Gibbons and his parents took the next steps! “So now, all we needed was a female voice, because I thought that would fit the song well,” Patrick shared. “At the golf club we go to my parents were at a dinner. They liked the singer that was performing and spoke to her about the song, and she says she would like to bring it to her ‘boss’ who ended up being Eric Bazilian of the Hooters fame!” (Bazilian also wrote the smash hit song “One of Us” for Joan Osborne).

Next, “We went in the studio and recorded it and the song came together and it was beautiful. We loved it. They loved it at General Hospital and now they’re putting it the show and they are coming in with a piano, instead of a guitar. Paul Glass, the GH musical director, has been keeping us updated over the last six months of how it was coming along, and when it would air, and how GH put their own arrangement to it. I can’t wait to see and hear what they did with it.”

PATRICK’S ONE LIFE TO LIVE FAMILY

Everyone knows that the One Life to Live extended family share a very tight bond, and Patrick said he does stay in touch with a few of his former One Life to Live co-stars, especially those from the Manning family! “I stayed in touch with Kassie DePaiva (ex-Blair) and sent her little videos here and there. She was like my second mom for five years. We keep in contact with Kristen Alderson (ex-Starr) over X the most, and she can’t believe how big I’ve gotten. Like, none of them can! (laughs). I also loved working with Roger Howarth (ex-Todd) and Trevor St. John (ex-Todd and Victor Jr.), and to me since I was so young, they were just my friends, ‘Roger and Trevor,’ not Todd Manning or Victor Jr.”

It was a trip to California and a visit to Port Charles that ultimately led to Gibbons second soap role of Wyatt Hoover. Patrick explains, “In 2016, Frank Valentini invited us out to Los Angeles to visit the set of General Hospital. I think he heard me say, ‘This is so much fun. I miss being on the set.’ He goes, ‘You should come out. I’ll bring you on the show. We can make you a character.'”

A few years later, Patrick’s dream became a reality! “Then, by the summer of 2018, I was playing Wyatt, the scout, and shared scenes with Wes Ramsey (Peter August), and the best was when I shared a scene with Roger Howarth and Michael Easton (ex-John, OLTL and ex-Silas, Finn et al, GH), it was like chemistry from the old days.”

IT’S ALL IN THE NUMBERS

As to his future aspirations, it’s a career in the finance game that has piqued Gibbons’ real-life interest. But never say never to a return to acting. Patrick explained, “I’ve always enjoyed numbers. And on top of that, one of the biggest parts of finance is being personable and outgoing.”

He continued, “That’s one of the greatest skills I developed growing up. I really love the markets. I’m super interested. I’m never going to close the door to acting. I’m always open to that because I just love it so much. It’s such a great art.”

Take note! If there are any investment bankers or private equity folks among the GH faithful looking for a young analyst next year, Patrick’s DMs are open. You can find him on X at @PatrickJGibbons.

So, what did you think of the song sung by Trina on today’s GH that was written by Patrick J. Gibbons? Did you enjoy Patrick’s performances as One Life’s Sam and GH’s Wyatt? Would you like to see him back on GH at some point? Let us know via the comment section.

‘Guiding Light’s’ Grant Aleksander Shares Heartfelt Remembrance of TV Daughter, Hayden Panettiere On What Would Have Been Her 37th Birthday

Published

By

The tragic death of Hayden Panettiere last Sunday on August 21 continues to rock the entertainment world as her passing is still under investigation. Sadly, the former Guiding Light and Nashville star, died just days before her 37th birthday.

Now Grant Aleksander who played her on-screen father, Phillip Spaulding on Guiding Light a role he played on and off for nearly 30 years,  shared a touching tribute with The Locher Room via Instagram, to his former TV daughter on her birthday on Friday, August 21.

It was back in 1996-2000 that Panettiere played the role of Phillip and Beth’s (Beth Chamberlin) daughter, Lizzie Spaulding. When Hayden was on-screen her performances were outstanding even as a little girl.

Photo: CBS

Aleksander began, When I think of Hayden the first image that comes is of her running down the hall in the studio with a huge, toothy grin on her face. Literally bursting with joy. And that’s what she gave to us. Pure, infectious joy. That and a talent that belied her years.”

“She was a natural with an instinctive understanding of acting that most adult actors can only dream of possessing. But that’s not what I’ll remember most about her. It’s that sunshine she brought to all of us that were lucky enough to be in her orbit that will stay with me, expressed Grant.

He concluded with, “I’ll always cherish the years I got to be her tv Dad. I wish I could have seen her one more time just to tell her how proud I was of her. She’s left us way too soon. We can only hope that she’s finally found the peace that eluded her in her short life. Rest in peace Princess!”

Michael Fairman TV previously shared emotional tributes from many of Hayden’s co-stars here, plus Jonathan Jackson (ex-Lucky, GH and ex-Avery, Nashville) who wrote a beautiful tribute to his former co-star.

So, do you remember the scenes between a young Lizzie and Phillip on Guiding Light? What did you think of Grant Aleksander’s words? Let us know via the comment section below. Here’s just a sampling below, of how great Hayden was with her scene partner, Grant.
