Y&R’s Conner Floyd On Chance & Sharon Making Love: “There’s Just a Whirlwind of Feelings Between Them and It Leads to Something More”
In previews for the week of July 17th and upcoming episodes of The Young and the Restless, Sharon (Sharon Case) and Chance (Conner Floyd) are finally going to move their relationship to the next level when the two wind up having sex.
After Sharon explains how she is going to take the company that Cameron Kirsten left her to new heights and into something well-meaning, Chance is quite impressed with her.
In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest on newsstands now, Conner Floyd shares on the next leg of the character’s involvement with one another, “Chance has kind of felt responsible for Sharon after Rey died, so if this makes her happy, then Chance thinks she should do it.”

For months now, Y&R fans have seen the tease of a romance between Sharon and Chance, but it had stalled. That is, until now. Floyd shares on the moment that leads, at first, to a passionate kiss: “There’s just this whirlwind of feelings between them and it leads to something more. They’re connecting on the same emotional level, which he hasn’t shared with anyone for a long time.”
You can check out the Y&R preview for next week’s episodes below.
Now let us know, are you all for a Sharon and Chance pairing? Share you thoughts in the comment section.
Call me hopeless, but I like these two together. They’re both genuinely nice people who deserve a romantic break. I particularly like that they’re friends already and have a solid base there. Unlike bed bunnies Kyle and Audra, who are no better than dogs in heat. Hopefully, Sharon won’t tug on Chance’s fabulous hair the way Abby did. Though I can’t really blame her…I’d like to spend a week in those locks.
I like them together too, Soaphound. They fit. Both have endured a really crummy year- they deserve some happiness. And have you noticed Chance has come alive since breaking up with Abby?
No no no Sharon is to old for chance plus she has been with pretty much every guy on the show ! Don’t let chance get caught in her web ! She’s likely going back to Adam or nick anyway, so chance is gonna get hurt ! Put chance with summer !! There has not been all this “ chemistry” between them! They had one “so called” date and he had to leave early !
Not a Sharon fan !
Exactly
I agree. Chance is more Abby & Summer’s age.
Abby is with the father of her child Devon.
Susi,
I have mixed feelings on these two. Sharon deserves someone new but the age diff bugs me and I like Chance. I don’t want him being taken in by that spoiled , selfish, brat Summer. I even felt that Kyle was too good for her but him rutting around with that bitch Audra is disgusting.
Sharon is perfect for Chance!
I agree whole heartedly . The show needs a good smart couple who’s goal is helping the citizens of Genoa city and not related to the tired Newman and Abbott clan. They can be the new Christine and Paul. Chance is a cop and Sharon needs to get into therapy or social work. Not too mention they are both beautiful and would be stunning together! I love the slow build they ve had. I hope the two melt the screen.
Damien,
You need sparks to melt anything and I do not see any between these two. I guess I’ll always see Sharon and Nick together, though they have been with so many others in between their marriages, especially Nick. They are more like siblings now. Too bad.
I ll always be a Shick fan. They are my all time favorite couple!!! I wish the show would at least tease the fans now and again just to keep that hope alive.
But in the meantime Violet, not sure yiy watched the latest episode but there are ‘ sparks ‘ aplenty for Sharing and Chance after those coffee shop scenes!!!!
Damien,
Yes, more like a Bonfire and a note to OG Steve and Michael, I think this is the meaning of Making Love vs Getting it On as would describe Kyle and Audra’s encounters.
I really like Sharon and chance together. Hope it lasts.
This is 2023, can we stop using the archaic term “making love”?
Thanks Michael for the reasoning. Glad to hear you feel the same. For giggles, let’s use “make Whoopie” like they did on the old Newlywed Game.
OG Steve,
I think Whoopie has been made many times and though she’d probably like it, oh well just adding to the “giggles”
Yeah! How about makin’ whoopee?
Nope. Nuh-uh. No way.
Yawn….he doesn’t have chemistry with anyone.
Is Danny Boaz busy??
Dont like this Chance. Danny Boaz was much better.
I LOVE THEM BOTH
I like Danny B better also. Wish they would bring back
Sorry but not right to me. Still want a Nick/Sharon reunion to become the next Victor/Nikki and lead the show into the next Newman generation power team.
That’s gotten old
There has to be some more new characters interjecting to have some new storylines.
Ilikesharonwithchanceagedontmatternotnick
Love the idea of Sharon and Chance hitting the sheets
I love the idea of Sharon and chance together..it’s nice to see Sharon with someone new other than Nick and Adam ..way to go ..
I was thinking him and Summer made more since! Sharon doesn’t seem like a cougar!
I hope with her new business looming on the future, I hope Sharon doesn’t turn into a hard ass like Victoria.
Maybe kind of digging He’s like a young Nick If it were to play out – she’d be the older one Something different
For her And trying to decide if she would want another child or re experience the things that Chase would want as the younger person or man
I don’t see why people are trying to say Sharon is too old for Chance. If that’s the case, Nick is way too old for Sally. Noah by soap standards is AT LEAST late 20s if not older meaning Nick is at least 50. Joshua Morrow looks amazing but the character of Nick is way older than Sally. It’s so sexist how men can have younger women but not vice versa.
Thank You, Richard! Funny how nobody (much) complained about Ashland and Victoria, Victor and Sabrina, Jack and Sharon, Victor and Sharon. And it’s not just sexism: Ashley and that cute I.T. guy a few years ago, Lauren and that wacko bartender… it’s ageism, pure and simple as well. Live and let live; if it doesn’t bother them, I say go for it.
I love Conner floyd very good actor pleasekeep him on show and like him with Sharon they go good together
Pair Chance with Summer Sharon’s his mother’s age.
chance too young for sharon… but let her be a cougar
Tons more chemistry between Nick and Sharon, hope they reunite.
I want Chance and Summer together! We all know it is gonna happen! I have no doubt about it!
Actually The idea of Sharon as the older one in a relationship brings some new stories
Her jealousies married to an attractive younger man – worried about some younger woman stealing him
The idea of having another child as this stage of her life Dealing with IVF , adoption
What is the name of the song playing for Chance & Sharon?
Just watched the scene of them “moving” into her office, and I actually think that Sharon and Chance had one of the hotter “love” scenes than most others (Victoria and Nate/ Kyle and Audra/ Nick and Sally, etc.) as of recent. I’ll be interested in how they come together. Sharon does seem to have a “thing” for cops (Dylan, Rey, and now Chance) but who knows…
I record. Am not up to date yet but did see the “scene” with Chance and Sharon. Everyone’s thoughts made me think. The “event,” whatever one might call it, caught me by total surprise. It didn’t seem real. The spontaneity appeared too staged. Only after reading all of these comments
did the age issue arise — I don’t care, but Sharon has aged. Chance is a “looker” (my era)
and so little has been seen of him, I can’t assess much.
However, Kyle’s role seems off base for me. Still trying to put what I call the business of “musical chairs” together. Victoria, is indeed, her father’s daughter.
No no no I’m always going to be a Nick and Sharon fan I am so happy for Nick and Sharon.
I am no happy with Chance and Sharon us like Sharon sleeping with her son Noah.
Chance with Summer.
What’s the name of the song played during Sharon and Chance love making?
What was the song chance played on the jukebox today as he and sharon danced(usa aired 7/25/2023)I loved it
The best soap opera sex scene ever!!! Sharon and Chance!!! Go away Summer

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS Preview: Kyle and Victoria, Stephanie and Nate, Sally and Billy: Do Any Couples Have a Chance at Lasting Happiness?

This week, couples get closer and some may be playing with fire, when all-new episodes of The Young and the Restless begin on Monday, September 14.
First, Y&R viewers know that Billy (Jason Thompson) and Sally’s (Courtney Hope) October nuptials will be front and center come October as previously teased by Y&R’s executive producer, Sally McDonald.
However, this week’s video spoilers show Sally sitting with her ex Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and she asks him for a favor. Adam seems happy to help, when he responds, “Anything.” Next, Sally tells hi, that this,”could be a matter of life or death.” What could Sally be asking Adam? Does it have to do with Billy’s baby that she is carrying? Come Sally’s wedding, will Adam and Billy’s endless feud rear its ugly head in the worse way?

Then, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) can’t fight their attraction to one another and share a few kisses as they slow dance together at Nate’s apartment. Stephanie has been more than supportive to Nate as he gets ready to undergo surgery to his hand which could allow him to return to his medical career as a surgeon. Nate says to Stephanie, “Whatever this is, it feels real.”
However, Y&R viewers know that Vivica A. Fox just wrapped her current run as Stephanie to go film her featured role in the Netflix film Women Like Us. At some point soon, Stephanie and Nate will have to put a hold on their growing feelings or will they?
Finally, Kyle (Michael Mealor) lets himself into the Riverbank Motel room and the lights are out. He goes to reach for the light switch, but Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is there and tell him, “Don’t.” Looks like their one-time fling is going full on affair. But with Kyle being an Abbott and Victoria being a Newman, plus their age difference, is there any hope at all that their burgeoning feelings can survive, if their families can wind of what they have been up to? Stay tuned.

‘General Hospital’ Fall 2026 Preview: Unexpected Arrivals and Romance; Sonny and Drew at War, What Happened to Jack?

General Hospital’s co-head writers, Chris Van Etten and Elizabeth Korte have given the ABC daytime drama’s fall preview of what to look for in the months ahead in Port Charles.
According to the scribes, as told to TV Insider, “Unexpected arrivals, unexpected romance and unexpected connections,” are the order of the season, plus, “secrets are going to be exposed that will upend lives for better and worse — and new secrets will need to be kept.”
In the relationship department, don’t expect everything to go the way you may think! Let’s take a look at some of the highlights that point to some major moments in the near future on GH.

Photo: ABC
ROMEO AND JULIET
“The conflict between Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Drew (Cameron Mathison) will continue to build with potentially fatal consequences,” shared the head writers as Scout (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) and Rocco’s (Finn Carr) relationship gets more solid, the more it will be tried to be pulled apart, especially by Drew. This is what they are calling their “Romeo and Juliet” young love story.
BURYING JACK BRENNAN
Nina (Cynthia Watros) will be in the hot seat, thanks to evidence planted by Drew and Carly (Laura Wright) overhearing her threatening the MIA Jack. According to the GH head writers, “Nina may face a dark future — but perhaps not as dark a future as those who seek her downfall.” Meanwhile Ava (Maura West) and Drew’s unholy alliance will have “repercussions for years to come.” Let’s not forget they buried Jack’s body.
JASON AND BRITT MAY NOT LAST
Those who wanted Jason (Steve Burton) and Britt’s (Kelly Thiebaud) romance to come to an end, may get their wish! As the head scribes shared, “Decisions Britt made to stay alive while under (Ross) Cullum’s thumb will come back to haunt her and may prove too difficult for this unlikely couple to survive.”

Photo: ABC
ANNA’S BREAKING POINT AND CAN VALENTIN STAY AWAY ?
As for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), who Jason is trying to save and who has lost her way (thanks to visions of Peter August) and being gaslighted by Cullum and company, it will, “lead to her breaking point and may lead another person to an early grave.” On that note, Carly and Valentin’s (James Patrick Stuart) relationship is tested after his attempt to buy back Spoon Island. Only problem is someone else got their first, and it may be hard for Valentin to deny his feelings for Anna aren’t greater than he thinks.

BROOK LYNN’S LIFE AS SHE KNOWS IT BLOWS UP IN HER FACE
The writers added, “Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) face a turning point. Her secret may finally unravel their marriage; worse, it may leave the family vulnerable when someone comes calling with a claim on Phoebe.” Will Chase now hop between the sheets with his ex Willow? And, will Hudson (Troy Lennon Appel) stake his claim to be the father of the little Phoebe? How can Brook Lynn’s life as she knows it survive this?
TRINA’S STALKER … WHO IS IT?
Does Trina (Tabyana Ali) have a stalker … or a true number one genuine fan? Whatever the case, something ominous is going to happen to Kai (Jen Austin Astrup), when the GH writers shared, “Kai is true blue and will step up to defend Trina— but his closeness to Trina may prove detrimental to his health.” In addition, the stalker situation pairs up Emma (Braedyn Bruner) and Trina to try get to the bottom of who is behind it, but in doing so, may have put a target on Emma’s back.

Photo: ABC
‘BLOODY’ SITUATION WHERE JOSSLYN IS CONCERNED
Josslyn Eden McCoy) gets new orders from the WSB after Brennan goes missing, and things may get “bloody” report the writers. They add, “Joss has her sights set on Sonny — but she’s a target, too. JJE is a big prize, and she isn’t the only one entitled to it.” Who else could be?

Photo: ABC
PAST ROMANCE FOR ALEXIS COMES BACK AROUND
Could Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Ric (Rick Hearst) find themselves in each other’s arms? According to the GH head writers, “A past romance will rear its head in a surprising way,” for Alexis. Who else could it be if not Ric, who may feel jilted by Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) if she and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) get any closer? Might it be the return of Jerry Jacks?
MICHAEL AND JORDAN BECOME CLOSE
Michael (Rory Gibson) and Jordan (Tanisha Harper) will develop a “special bond” while working together at Aurora and while Curtis (Donnell Turner) is away in prison. However, “a face from Jordan’s past will complicate her future. We’ll start to learn more about the woman Jordan was before she ever joined the DEA and came to Port Charles.” Is this William Baines (Alimi Ballard) or someone else yet to arrive? Stay tuned.
