The mutli-talented Jessica Collins (Avery) of The Young and the Restless was a guest today on the Hallmark Channel’s morning series, Home & Family with hosts Christina Ferrare and Mark Steines.

During the first part of her segment, Jessica revealed that she is coming up in her third anniversary playing Avery on the number one soap, commented on a clip of an intimate on-screen moment between Avery and Dylan (Steve Burton), and admitted she likes working with Steve Burton very much.  However, there have been times in her career when she was not comfortable playing opposite a few of her leading men.

Later during the cooking segment, Jessica whips up her recipe for a tasty Blueberry Cobbler, and while doing so reveals a strange fan encounter that ensued that involved her and her mother.  Apparently, the fan talked to Jessica’s mom as if Jessica was really Avery!  Collins also chatted on her infamous love scene ritual where she always shake hands with her scene partner when they finish their hot steamy love scenes.

Watch the two segments after the jump featuring Jessica on Home & Family! Then, let us know what you thought of Jessica’s fan story?  If you like Avery and Dylan together? And more importantly if you want to taste Jessica’s recipe for a Blueberry Cobbler?

BETWEEN AVERY COOKING AND CHELSEA STEALING EVERY MAN IM GONNA LOSE IT

Exactly what men has Chelsea been stealing?

NO MORE COOKING NOT ON MY SOAP

Agree. STOP COOKING AVERY!!! You’re making Dullan HUGE & FAT!!!

You know i was joking when i said the cooking show was exciting…lol

Mama, who is cooking Avery? And do we like her medium rare or well done?

I cannot believe its been three years already! Soap fans kind of brush off new characters because they enjoy seeing the legends day in and day out but here is a point where something new is something good. Avery is an interesting character who can act! Plus, like Steve Burton, they found a way for her to be integrated with the other fine characters of Genoa City.

Three years? Yikes, it seems longer. I wish Avery and Dylan would leave. The cooking show on Y&R has been so boring and stupid. If this is the best they can write for them, they totally need to go. Take Abby and Tyler with them when they go, along with Neil and Hilary.

The cooking show is exciting…a future spoiler reveals that on a Friday cliffhanger Avery makes toast…then we have to wait all weekend to see on Mondays episode if she butters the toast or uses jam…my prediction is that she uses neither…she and Dullan go on a mystery journey to discover what butter and jam is…and some people think Y&R isnt good anymore…lol

Honey the “cooking show” segment of this soap is not exciting. As exciting as watching an hour of C-SPAN.

Mama, he was being sarcastic.

I love Avery, I want her to cook more. Avery please cook some chili, tacos, spaghetti and Lasagne. LOL. Jessica Collins is a very beautiful woman, and a wonderful actress. I also used to watch her on LOVING, she played Dinah lee.

Ha! Jim, and stayed tuned for when Avery boils water. Instead of cliff hangers, we will now have souffle fallings.

If MAB hadn’t been canned I bet anything Avery would have been a footnote on this show. She was only created to make trouble for Phyllis, not be a leading character– and if MAB had stayed, Avery would have been history after her main purpose was done. But for some reason JFP likes this character — oh that’s right– the reason is it was through Avery she had a means to bring on Dylan (Steve Burton) and make these two the new “stars” of the show. But that is all water under the bridge– just wish Avery got back some of her original nastiness, under JFP team she has become so sweet, I’m getting cavities just watching her.

She seems like a nice lady, but Avery is a horror and it’s getting worse. I don’t care about her Betty Crocker wanna be life. Send her and DULLAN out of town. Y&R is now unwatchable with this trash. Stop the madness.

I like the characters of Avery and Dillon. Both are good actors, however, they just need better writers on this show. Every story line is a total bore.

YawneR.

Avery and Dillon are not hot nor sexy and chem free..
ALL the couples on Y&R are lackluster I FF all of them.. lol
I can watch Y&R in 10/15 minutes haaa!
but- I watch/addicted 🙁

The opening of Y&R is all newbies so to say, the new young actors are now the coveted stars, and they can’t act , what is up with that?

I know that Jessica Collins went to school to become a chef I just think bringing this in for a storyline is a snooze. Did we not have an internet stalking storyline with Neil by Hilary just last year? Next will have a storyline with Dylan selling protein juice.

Wow Jessica Collins is 43 years old, very attractive lady. Time flies 3 years on the young and the restless. Hard to believe. I cannot wait, until Gina Tagnoni comes to the young and the restless as the new Phyllis. Gina will kick ass, as Phyllis.

I like her–she seems every bit as kind as her character. However, she is duller than dishwater lately. The only way to make the cooking segment interesting is to get Gordon Ramsey to make a few cameos while judging Avery’s cooking.
Now, I do not know whose bright idea it was to pair her up with Burton, but those two are like a Wonder Bread sandwich with margarine in the middle. They are about as dull as Sabrina and Patrick from GH and that is saying a lot. The one time I found Avery interesting is when she interacted with Michael Muhney’s Adam. It wasn’t because I fancied some romance transpiring between the two, it was because she really saw the good in him when no one else could and he valued her friendship–not because he would get anything in return for it, he just valued her. That was when Avery was interesting to me.

Lucas Adams and Tamara Braun Written Out of The Young and the Restless

Published

It looks like the current run of Lucas Adams (Noah) and Tamara Braun (Sienna) on The Young and the Restless is coming to an end, after the Monday, August 3 edition of the CBS daytime drama revealed that Noah and Sienna are leaving Genoa City and heading back to Los Angeles.

In the storyline, Noah informed his mother, Sharon (Sharon Case) and half-sister Mariah (Camryn Grimes) that he and Sienna made the decision to move back to the West Coast to put distance between themselves and Matt Clark (Roger Howarth). Although Noah did not say it was a permanent move, he did assure his mom that once Matt is hopefully gone from Genoa City they could return.

However, as previewed already on the video teaser for this week’s episodes of Y&R (see below), it appears Noah left Genoa City’s The Shadow Room to be run by a returning Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian). So with that, coupled with today’s episode, it would appear the move could wind up being more permanent.

COMINGS AND GOINGS

Adams made his Y&R debut on November 4, 2025 as the successor to Rory Gibson who last played Noah on-screen in April of 2023. Earlier in 2025, Gibson took over the role of Michael Corinthos on Genera Hospital replacing Chad Duell, who stepped away from the part after 15 years.

Braun who played Adam’s mother on Days of Our Lives when she was Ava Vitali and he was Tripp Dalton, first appeared on Y&R back on October 14, 2025, where we soon learned she had become Noah’s lover as the new character, Sienna Bacall.  It should be noted, Adams was on contract with the number #1 soap, while Braun has been on recurring status.

With Josh Griffith now exited as head writer of The Young and the Restless, and the newly announced co-head writing team of Jamey Giddens and Dan O’Connor having taken his place and starting their new tenure this week, it will be interesting to see how the duo resets the show, and if a Noah and Sienna return is in the cards for the future or not.

So, what do you think about the seeming departures of Lucas Adams and Tamara Braun from The Young and the Restless? Weigh-in via the comment section. But first, check out our recent live chat with Tamara and Lucas on the Michael Fairman Channel.

Rosie O’Donnell Says She Will Return to ‘The View’ During its Season 30

Rosie O'Donnell

Rosie O’Donnell revealed that she plans to head back to a seat at the table of ABC’s morning talk show The View.

The announcement came during Monday’s episode of The Tangle Podcast where she shared she will participate in “in whatever way they want” her or “just as a guest” for its upcoming 30th season.

The View’s season 30 will kick-off this fall in September. O’Donnell explained, “They’re bringing back all the hosts, I think. And, you know, I’m pretty proud of that show, what it’s become and how it really speaks to the people and to politics.”

ROSIE ON HER PREVIOUS GO-ROUNDS ON THE VIEW

As fans of The View know, O’Donnell famously had two different one-year stints on the talk show in 2007 and again in 2014- 2015. She often feuded with then co-host Elizabeth Hasselbeck.

However, during her discussion with host, Kyle Ridley on The Tangle Podcast, O’Donnell also noted she often had tense moments with longtime moderator and anchor, Whoopi Goldberg.

O’Donnell also expressed, “Many, many people got the short end of the stick there. It was, you know, it was a factory where people were being churned in and out and their tenuous security, nobody got to be calm. It also was a show at the time that was run by a man. A show created by a woman, for women, about women, and the man was deciding what we should talk about. And that didn’t sit right with me, you know.”

Back in 2023, Brooke Shields had asked Rosie on her podcast, Now What? with Brooke Shields, about how she felt on her two stints at The View and all the controversy that surrounded it. Rosie at that time, stated, “I know this, it’s not the best use of my talent to get in a show where I have to argue and defend basic principles of humanity and kindness. It was not something I’d ever do again.”

You can check out the clip with Rosie and Kyle Ridley discussing her return to The View in some form for its upcoming 30th season below.

Then weigh-in: Would you be excited to see Rosie, even for a one-day or a week guest stint on the upcoming celebratory season of The View, or not so much? Let us know via the comment section.
