This ought to be a page-turner!  The one and only Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki Newman) of The Young and the Restless has been a very busy gal, not only appearing on the top-rated soap, but she has been writing her memoir set for release next year!  According to a tweet from her Literary Agent, Dr. Uwe Stender, this will be quite the highly-anticipated life story.

Stender tweeted: “I am BEYOND ecstatic to announce that ‘s memoir will be published next summer!

He added on the upcoming Thomas Scott book, “Star of the #1 daytime drama The Young and The Restless Melody Thomas Scott’s ALWAYS YOUNG AND RESTLESS, a memoir covering her career (and life struggles) from a child actress (i.e. Hitchcock’s Marnie) to become the longest-serving and beloved daytime actress on television in the same role, written with Dana L. Davis.”

Melody confirmed the memoir following up with a tweet to Stender, “Well, I guess the cat is out of the bag now! Can’t wait for all of you to read it! Now you all know what I’ve been up to!”

So, intrigued by what Melody will share about her life and her time on Y&R in her upcoming memoir? Comment below.

I will definitely read it. However, I question the statement that she is the “longest-serving…daytime actress in the same role.” GH and DAYS have been on longer than Y&R. In fact, no disrespect to the wonderful MTS, but Susan Seaforth Hayes started on Days in 1968, Suzanne Roger started on Days in 1973, Deidre Hall on Days since 1976 and Leslie Charleson on GH since 1977. MTS didn’t start on Y&R until 1979. I admire Melody but the PR people have to stop blowing smoke about her, constantly airbrushing her pictures and then spouting misinformation regarding her. It detracts from… Read more »

I don’t know how much “fun” it would be to read while she’s still employed @CBS and Sony… as I’ve always “hated” thee inside joke that you never talk about your show … ie: TPTB know the disgust with WRITING is contentious and that the who’s coming; who’s going; is their “stamp” nevertheless prior to Y&R is her life. I only ask 1 or 2 or 3 things 1. DO NOT give your life away at every thing Eric Braedon is 2. the writers NEVER truly wrote Nikki as an independent Woman… acknowledge 3. OH WHATS THE POINT – Nikki… Read more »

I agree. As much as the writers, from time to time tried having Nicki assert herself, she just seemed to be Victor’s wife, 99% of the time. Now with this new medical crisis, which I am assuming is his own, will he fight it with his wife’s help and support, or try and go it alone, as he has always done?

B&B’s Jacqueline MacInnes Wood Talks Motherhood, Steffy’s Opioid Addiction and Love Life on ‘Home & Family’

Daytime Emmy Award winner and a nominee again this year for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Daytime Drama Series, The Bold and the Beautiful’s Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester) chatted with Home & Family.

During her segment, Jacqui discussed becoming a mom again for the second time and welcoming her new son, Lenix, and balancing raising two boys with playing the day to day perils of Steffy Forrester.

As soap fans know, last year’s storyline where Steffy became addicted to painkillers provided her with meaty material which landed her as one of the frontrunners for next week’s 48th annual Daytime Emmy Awards to air on Friday night, June 25th on CBS.

MacInnes Wood became emotional when telling how Steffy’s addiction intervention helped others, relating: “I was flooded with all of these messages, and this one woman reached out to me and she said her son… it still gets me emotional … but her son was addicted and that intervention was the same thing with her family, and it touched me in such a way and she said luckily that he is sober now.”

Jacqui also talked about Steffy’s on-screen love life …. and her real-life love and husband, Elan Ruspoli.

You can watch the full interview segment here.

B&B’s Don Diamont Granted Restraining Order Against Alleged Stalker

The Bold and the Beautiful’s Don Diamont (Bill Spencer) was granted a temporary restraining order in L.A. County Superior Court against 37-year-old Quincy Adams; who Diamont says has been harassing him and his family since back in January.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Diamont alleges that Adams took to YouTube saying Don was a Satanist and responsible for COVID, 9/11, and the Iraq war.  In addition, Adams claimed to be connected to him some way from birth.

It was then that Don grew increasingly concerned when the man shared online that he knew where Diamont and his family lived.

Then came June 2nd, when Adams showed up at their front gate and Don received a call from his wife, Cindy.  The police handled Adams from there, but Don was very worried that Adams might harm him, or his family, so he was granted the temporary restraining order against him.

We wish Don and his family nothing but safety in the days ahead.

So what do you think about the claims and actions of Adams on Diamont? Comment below.
