Su, you know how you always say don’t watch GH to posters who critique it? Well, then , you should practice what you preach. I am so enjoying Y&R right now; let’s just taste what it is offering…..if it becomes too much to bear, then, follow your own advice…do not watch.
I do not like comparing soaps. I like them all…let’s discuss the good, the bad, and the ugly; but, please, no comparisons.
Other than that, I do enjoy your posts, Su.

The promo — and those mug shots — made me cringe in embarrassment for the actors.

This kind of forced “levity” doesn’t work when a show doesn’t incorporate humor on a regular basis like SANTA BARBARA and ONE LIFE TO LIVE did.

Y&R is absolutely horrible with producing humor..
That soap is completely humorless and when they attempt to be funny it just simply look very awkward/silly ..

Soaps have been going for years. No matter what Continent you’re on it’s hard to make and stay fresh a loaf of bread. After a certain amount of time even CHEESE remolds..Yeah we want fresh writers..and DayTime deserves new blood..unfortunately the Networks keep waking up the same old Frankenstein monster to pair with the same old bride and sometimes something elevates the same ole same ole…Kristoff St. John and Melody Thomas Scott brought genuine and not forced levity to the pictures so I intend to watch. As I have year after year and as I will continue to do until Networks seal the smoking hole in their foot with the weapon and the perp they chose to commit the crime. Get the drift??? On TV all levity is forced because it’s written..whether that’s a constant is one thing..do we love it when it happens??..that’s RATINGS!!

You want “forced levity”..especially unintended..I’m watching Charlie X an episode of Star Trek with a 26 year old pretending to be a teen ager. This was no doubt a lesson in the old landscape of TV that proved even a camera and a silly hair do can’t undo a glaring mistake..unintended “levity” that makes for an uncomfortable viewing experience..Yet..it’s this show..so ..OK…DO I MAKE MY POINT!!!

Arianne Zucker and Coby Ryan McLaughlin Filming New Lifetime Movie, ‘Nanny Danger’

Days of our Lives’ Arianne Zucker (Nicole) and former General Hospital star, Coby Ryan McLaughlin (Shiloh) are hard at work on a new film for Lifetime that looks to be another thriller from the network.

The movie is called Nanny Danger and is directed by notable director, Gigi Gaston.  In addition to Zucker and McLaughlin, GH’s Scarlett Fernandez (Charlotte) is also part of the cast.

What we know about the premise of the film: A nanny with a Harvard education gets a job with a billionaire (McClaughlin).  Advances are rejected and when he won’t take no for an answer, she has to fight for her life, and it looks like said nanny and billionaire’s wife (Zucker) try to team up to take the billionaire hubby down, or do they? Hmmm.

The film is expected to be ready to air in July of this year.

So, excited to see Arianne and Cody together in their suspenseful upcoming roles? Comment below.
