After rumors began this week that none other than Hunter Tylo would be making a guest return visit to CBS’ The Bold and the Beautiful as Taylor Hayes next month, came word today from the popular star’s official facebook page that that news of a return are false at this time.

According to Hunter Tylo – The Huntress caught on camera facebook page, this statement was offered up:  “Rumors are out there, that Hunter Tylo is in talks with The Bold and the Beautiful, to reprise her role as Dr. Taylor Hayes, beginning next month.  There is no truth to those Rumors, no talks are in place between Hunter and The Bold and the Beautiful.  We thank you all for the love and support you are showing Hunter, XO Team Hunter.”

So, are you disappointed that according to the facebook post that there are no talks going on at this time between B&B and Tylo? Do you want her to return to the series now, especially in light of Ridge as played by Thorsten Kaye in the mix in storyline?  Let us know!

Hunter’s perormance on B&B, IMO, really lacked the last few years she was on contract with the soap. I always loved Taylor, but Hunter lost her joy in playing her or at least I feel that way. I would take a recast. Lisa Rinna? Lisa Peluso?

I think it is more about the story she had to play.

LOL

Lisa Rinna would be a hoot, just to have her back on our screens

she’d still have time to keep her star out of our reach

she’s so ms. Hollywood

I’m glad “fans” even mention her

Dean…YES!!!!! I think that Lisa Peluso would make an AWESOME Taylor Hayes…HELL TO THE YEAH!!!!!

NOOOOOO. Terrible character and so so actress. Leave it alone.

I like B&B without Hunter Tylo. With all due respect, I find all the cosmetic procedures to be distracting.

I miss Miss Tylo as Taylor and hope the absence of actor and character can allow writers to restore the character to the strong assertive positive woman Taylor once was. Seems beginning with that awful embryo switch storyline — where are you Jack? and why doesn;t either mother seem to be concerned about you, despite the custody battle? — Taylor was made into a Brooke clone. Instead of playing against Brooke in the ongoing rivalry for Ridge’s affections, she stooped to her level with random relationships and games that sometimes seemed an afterthought. The endgame could never be Ridge and Taylor but she is the mother of his three children. And Thomas and Steffi remain vital characters. My fear is they, too, will fade intot he woodwork with Thorne, Felicia and other Forresters in favor of the Logans… and that would be a shame.

I am delighted she is not returning, because I am sick of the tired threesomes on B&b.

It has been replaced by the tired threesome/foursome of Hope/Wyatt/Steffi/Liam!

LOL… you overlooked my comment was plural. I guess that’s because I had temporarily forgotten about Steffi. 😉

I DO NOT want the character of Taylor returning to B&B anytime soon. No. I’m sorry but I was SO GLAD when Hunter Tylo left B&B. More and more, Taylor kept getting on my nerves…self-righteous, preachy, overly-moral, nosy, meddlesome…No Thank You. As far as I’m concerned, the B&B canvas is full enough already.

Peace.

Yikes!

right now… that could sound like:

Robin on GH
Sami on DAYS

as well

We don’t need another person in this mess of triangles—there is nothing this character could add to story as it at the moment. I for one am glad it was just a rumor.

Disappointed? No. They could always recast the part. Steven Tyler would be great.

Steven Tyler, huh??? HAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Good one, Harry. LOL!!!!!

LOL– you made me spit out my soda with that one— thanks for the laugh it made my day.

LMFAO!!! That’s funny!

No I am not why should she go back and say one or two lines every week this is the Brooke & Hope show.

Why bother? Brad Bell only knows how to write for literally one handful of characters. It was the “all about Brooke” show for 20 years, and now it’s the “all about Brooke and her daughter Hope whom she conceived with her other daughter’s boyfriend” show.

I do not miss Hope in this show at all- I think Stephanie and Wyatt would be very exciting together as a couple- Love Liam but he is too passive and boring when he gets with Stephanie- this is the only soap opera I tape and watch anymore

Daytime Confidential has confirmed her return and called you out Michael. Let’s have a food fight!

I would love to see Hunter Tylo return to B&B. Maybe we would see a little less of Brooke for awhile.

B&B bring back hunter and make a storyline beter then ever before ..you have 2 make her fans that watching something 2 talk about..

I only wish it were true that she is NOT returning to B & B! Other sources claim she is definitely coming back and reprising her role as Taylor Hayes. No offense to the actress, but her character is the most lackluster of all. “Taylor” is a hypocrite, back-stabber, neurotic, alcoholic moron who can’t even recognize or help her own daughter with problems, much less any clients who seek her out for psychological aid. For a psychiatrist to carry a torch for nearly 30 years over a man who very obviously prefers another woman, is just plain INSANE!

Everything you said about Taylor except for the alcoholic can be said about Brooke. Brooke is still the same tramp she has been for the past 26 years. She hasn’t shown any growth at all.

I would like to see Taylor return but only if she has a decent s/l. Bell and his team can’t seem to write anything but triangles and they are written poorly at that. With one exception, I loving what they are doing with Quinn.

REPORT: Nicholas Chavez Not Returning to General Hospital

For those who were holding out hope that Daytime Emmy winner and fan favorite, Nicholas Chavez would be returning to General Hospital after filming his leading role in Ryan Murphy’s Monsters anthology, it looks like those hopes have been dashed.

According to a report from TV Line, although unconfirmed from General Hospital or a representative for Chavez, the actor will not reprise his role as Spencer Cassadine on the long-running ABC soap opera and continue the love story of Sprina opposite Tabyana Ali (Trina, GH).

Chavez was cast as Lyle Menendez over the the summer of 2023 for the second season of Murphy’s limited Monsters series on Netflix. In the upcoming season, the series will focus on the the case of Lyle and Erik Menendez, the two well-to-do Beverly Hills brothers accused of murdering their parents in 1989.

After word from Chavez casting was revealed, GH fans were concerned over the fate of the Sprina story, a spokesperson for GH shared,  “We support Nicholas’ endeavors and look forward to having him return to General Hospital once this project is wrapped.”

In story, the series “killed off” Spencer when he went overboard with Esme to the steely waters below after being injected with a drug, thanks to Esme and falling into the Seine River in France. However, his body was never recovered, and believed to have drowned or washed away. Thus, leaving an opening for Spencer to return in the form of Chavez or be recast down the line.

TV Line shared that ‘multiple sources’ are confirming that Chavez is not returning to the ABC soap opera, which is what many had suspected might be the case once he left for this major starring role in a Ryan Murphy project. Chavez has been relatively quiet on social media for months.

The Michael Fairman Channel spoke with Nicholas Chavez for a virtual interview when he first joined the show in 2021, and spoke to him right after when he won the Daytime Emmy in 2022 – you can see those below.

No word yet on when Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menéndez Story will debut on Netflix, but it is assumed later this year.

With the Melrose Place revival the talk of the town, now Jack Wagner (ex-Frisco, GH, ex-Nick, B&B and ex-Peter Burns, MP) has weighed-in on it and if he would show up in the new series if it should find a home.

Currently, CBS Studios is developing a reboot starring Heather Locklear, Daphne Zuniga and Laura Leighton. But what is Dr. Peter Burns were to show up alive?

As those who saw the end of the original MP know, Peter and Amanda (Locklear) faked their deaths and then tied the knot with Peter on a beach, supposedly in a “happily ever after” scenario.

Photo: Fox

Speaking with PEOPLE, Wagner expressed, what we all know who watch the soaps, that no one is never, ever really gone for good. Jack expressed, “You never really die on a soap, right? How they unfold those two characters (Peter and Amanda), it’d be fantastic how they sort of tell that story.”

Wagner added, “That was a great finale to be included in, especially with Heather. If I’m asked to come back, I’d absolutely entertain that.”

Photo: Fox

The original Melrose Place aired for seven seasons from 1992 to 1999. The story featured the residents of an apartment complex, whose lives were intertwined. Eventually Wagner and Heather Locklear dated fro 2007-2011.

As previously reported, the new Melrose Place share that some of original neighbors and friends reunite after a death. The loglines add, “The pressure cooker of a reunion soon uncovers old traumas, rekindles old romances, reignites old resentments, and reveals new secrets… throwing our characters into chaotic drama that’s reminiscent of the past, but with a much more modern perspective.”

So, would you like to see Jack Wagner return as Dr. Peter Burns on Melrose Place, or Frisco Jones on GH, or both? Comment below.
