I’m excited for this! I just hope the women are age appropriate!

He seems genuinely sweet which is rare today. I am hoping he has success but hope the show won’t change that!

I’m loving it already, just hope it’s for real and not like the younger Bachelor shows I tried watching and didn’t like, too phoney for me.

First of all his name is not pronounced Gary as you claim. He corrected it on a talk show a few weeks ago as Geary, spelled Gerry not Gary. Get it right people, especially the bimbos up there that claim to be so madly in love with him.

Motion Picture Star Chris Hemsworth, a ‘Home and Away’ Alum, Defends Soap Operas, ‘It Used to Bother Me When Actors Would Later Talk About the Show with Guilt or Shame”

Before Chris Hemsworth became a major film star, he started his career in Australian soap operas, where he got his first big break playing high school drop-out, Kim Hyde for four seasons on Home and Away.

Before that, Chris also appeared on Neighbours for one episode in the role of Marshall Law. Currently, firmly entrenched as one of the staples of the Marvel Comic Universe and Marvel films, including playing Thor since 2011, he spoke out for misrepresentations of the medium, and the soaps, while doing press for his latest film, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.

In an interview with the Times of London, as told by Variety, Hemsworth took issue with actors bashing their roles in the Marvel Universe after being paid handsomely for their work alluding to statements made by Idris Elba, Anthony Hopkins, and Christian Bale.

He then made to comparison to some actors who have appeared in daytime soap operas, who looked down on being on one,  =or tried to try to tuck it away later in their careers.

Hemsworth shared: “Look, I grew up on a soap opera. And it used to bother me when actors would later talk about the show with guilt or shame. Humility goes a long way. One of the older actors on ‘Home and Away’ said, ‘We don’t get paid to make the good lines sound good, but to make the bad ones work.’ That stuck with me.”
