Eileen Davidson Shares Heartfelt RHOBH Blog Including: Working On Y&R and Her Niece Annamarie!

Why do we all love Eileen Davidson? Let us now count the ways! Eileen is currently airing as one of the newest cast members on the hit reality series, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, along with her “day” job at The Young and the Restless, and also her return stints at Days of our Lives!

This week on an all-new episode of RHOBH, which was heavily about the women on the show and their daughters, Eileen shared a very heartfelt blog post at BravoTV.com.  Later in the piece, Eileen related her thoughts on working on Y&R with the cast and crew, and her on-screen daughter, Melissa Ordway (Abby), and then went on to open up about her niece Annamarie, who is the daughter of Eileen’s late sister Connie, who died from complications of breast cancer last March.  Here is an excerpt below:

Eileen:  “Love the peeps I work with. Melissa Ordway plays my daughter, and Sean Carrigan plays my co worker/oops-we-had-a-one-night-stand. Both funny, funny people and so talented. Love ’em. And Patti Denney! My make up artist on Y and R. I have known Patti for…32 years! OMG! She’s great at makeup and a good friend. The crew is fabulous, too. Y and R feels like home to me. Gee, I wonder why. I pretty much started my career there.

And then there’s my niece, Annamarie. She is my sister Connie’s only child. My sister was a single mom, and and I helped raise her daughter. I have always had a very strong connection with Annamarie, and I love her dearly. She’s an amazing young woman with a huge heart, great sense of humor, and immense talent. Jesse and Annamarie are more like siblings than cousins, and they adore each other. Sadly, really devastatingly, Connie died from complications due to breast cancer last March. There’s so much to say, and yet I don’t know how to begin. I guess I’m just so grateful to have Annamarie in my life. She truly has become the daughter I never had.”

Share your thoughts in the comment section on Eileen’s sentiments on the “daughters” in her life, and what you thoughts of her blog posting! Have you checked her out on RHOBH?

BEAUTIFUL!!!

I adore Eileen Davidson. I think she is truly one of the most beautiful, gifted, and talented actresses in daytime. I miss her on DAYS. I will tune back into DAYS when Eileen returns-it’s really the only time that I tune in to the show. Just adore and enjoying her when on-air!

I know what you mean. I have missed so many DAYS’ episodes since Kristin left. It just isn’t the same without her.
Now, it seems that we are faced with a new baddie…Aiden (sp). I have this visceral feeling he either killed his wife, or he has her stashed somewhere….recycled storyline.

I just love Eileen

Eileen Davidson is simply endearing. Talented? Hell to the YEAH! But she is honest and sweet and beautiful. Her love of her family and her co-workers is amazing because it shows in how she interacts with them on screen. Thank you Eileen for being a positive reflection on daytime television. I will watch anything you do because you are genuinely that GOOD.

I do not watch her soaps but I love Eileen on the Housewives show. She is lovely and is a great addition to the show. I will be interested to see if she gets involved in the drama. I’m pretty sure Lisa Rinna will.

A consistently great actress who sounds like a lovely lady.

Great actress and I agree…. A once in a life time daughter…. Eileen should start thinking about herself and slow down and spend some quality time with her new family… Wishing Eileen the best in whatever path she chooses…

I applaud her for taking care of her niece..although unless you went to the Bravo blog I guess you wouldn’t get that information. I Love Eileen I really really do…but Girl…you and the “Real” housewives are a REAL HOT MESS. I’m shocked at seeing her in this light and i’m not really enjoying see her mixed up with all these self involved wannabe’s. Who gets a Palm Springs star on the Palm Springs walk of fame…LOL…Lisa Vanderpump deliberately sent Lisa Rinna ahead to deflate the possible fan adoration she may have had to share if the two arrived together..she needn’t have worried…that crowd was like…CRICKETS….Lisa Rinna who??? I don’t know…I think this was the wrong thing for Eileen to involve herself in..but like she said..when she took a year off hubby vince wasn’t rolling in the dough and the bills were piling up…so in a way..to do this..and for soo much money..oh well…I just don’t like it…and i’ve yet to see that champagne fly towards her…

I love Eileen on Days & I do find her & Lisa Rinna’s parts interesting on RHOBH.

“Daytime television invites viewers into the private lives of characters, often bringing important issues like cancer screenings into living rooms and around water coolers. Soaps debuted the first cancer storyline in 1962 – years before the topic was discussed in the mainstream, and it left an indelible impact: a whole generation of women who scheduled a potentially life-saving Pap smear for the first time,” said Daytime Stands Up host Alan Locher. “For so many viewers, this brought the issue front and center,” added co-host Michael Fairman. “Today, it’s become almost impossible to avoid; but there is hope with cancer research, thanks to organizations like Stand Up To Cancer.”

SU2C Co-Founder Sue Schwartz, SU2C President and CEO Julian Adams, Ph.D., and SU2C Health Equity Committee Member Elizabeth Jaffee, M.D., will also participate to speak to the importance of early detection, exciting scientific breakthroughs, and the ongoing work yet to be done to make screenings and treatment equitable for all.

“This year, an estimated 2 million people in the U.S. will be diagnosed with cancer, presenting an opportunity for the public to stand with us and rise to the occasion,” said Adams. “We’re thankful to Alan Locher, Michael Fairman and our friends from the daytime television community, who will raise critical funding to honor those we’ve lost – and to propel new scientific breakthroughs for current and future patients. Everyone has a story, and we’re grateful to all of you for sharing yours.”

For over 15 years, SU2C has leveraged its relationship with the entertainment community – which includes more than 1,100 celebrity ambassadors – to generate public donations, increase awareness and fund cutting-edge cancer research. SU2C research has contributed to the development of more than 10 scientific breakthroughs that have significantly impacted the field and provided new treatment options for breast, colorectal, lung, melanoma, pancreatic, pediatric and prostate cancers.
