Adam comes upon a zombie-like Annie holding the tire iron and instinctively backs away, uncertain what to think.  Scott’s arrival snaps Annie out of her trance.  Scott later confronts Colby, who finally admits she’s responsible for the stunt but remains unremorseful.  Adam reads Scott, Colby and Annie the riot act after hearing Colby admit her guilt while accusing Scott of still having a thing for Annie.  Liza’s disheartened when Damon tells her that Bailey is staying at her parent’s house with Stuart permanently.  Natalia arrests Damon in connection to the recent string of burglaries.  Jesse convinces Angie they need some time alone and whisks her away to a room at the Yacht Club where they reconnect and make love.   Not wanting to ruin his parent’s time together, Frankie fails to give Angie an urgent message which results in the death of a patient.  Ryan eavesdrops as Greenlee pours her heart out to Jake and is deeply affected by what he hears.  After telling her he’s going to back off, Ryan and Greenlee begin to enjoy being together without feeling any pressure.  Greenlee’s touched when Ryan remembers her birthday and presents her with a cupcake.  Adam tells Tad to speed up the search for Sonia Reyes.  Afraid he won’t be around for Little A’s upcoming sixth birthday, JR suggests they celebrate early.  Little A thinks he needs a more grown up name now and everyone decides to start calling him AJ.  JR asks Tad to always play a role in AJ’s life the same way he did for him when he was growing up.  Tad catches JR when he collapses.  Tad tells Adam he tracked down Sonia Reyes’ son, Miguel, who’s agreed to have his DNA sent from California to be tested.  Angie realizes that Frankie deliberately didn’t give her the message about the patient who could have been saved because he didn’t want to interrupt her time alone with Jesse.  Frankie insists on taking full responsibility for the incident but Angie puts her foot down, saying she’ll handle it her way.  Frustrated, Frankie slams his fist into a wall, reinjuring his hand.  Annie suggests that Adam name her the new Editor-in-Chief at Tempo and he agrees to think about it.  Annie’s surprised when Brooke arrives at the mansion.  Erica’s confident she has David right where she wants him when she orchestrates it so that he dismisses Gayle as meaning nothing to him while a hidden Gayle listens.  Gayle wants to make David pay for what he’s done and Erica promises they’ll do just that.  Erica lays it out for David, telling him she wants him to marry Greenlee, get her out of town and away from Fusion or else.

Feeling threatened, Annie lies and tells Brooke that the Editor-in-Chief position at Tempo has already been filled, by none other than Annie herself.  After reuniting with Scott and Colby, Brooke heads off to the hospital with them when they get word about JR, leaving Annie out of the loop once again.  JR’s in bad shape but does his best to rally.  Tad and Adam are thrilled to see Brooke.  Tad later announces they found a match for JR.  Ryan lets Greenlee go but remains confident they’ll get back together one day.  Erica seethes when she reads Greenlee’s memo ousting her from Fusion effective immediately.  Erica digs in her heels and tells Jack she has no intention of walking away from the company and handing it back to Greenlee.  Greenlee explains to David why it’s so important to her that they get married.  David and Greenlee’s wedding gets underway.

Damon apologizes to Liza for committing the burglaries and lying to her.  Liza promises to stand by Damon at his trial for Stuart’s sake.  JR’s family celebrates the fact a donor has been found.  Adam explains that he had a one night stand many years ago that resulted in the woman having a son but she didn’t tell him and when he finally did learn what happened, the woman didn’t want Adam to have any contact with the boy.  Adam anticipates the arrival of Miguel, his son and JR’s half-brother.  Erica clashes with Greenlee when she interrupts her and David’s wedding.  Greenlee warns Erica she’ll never get her hands on Fusion.  Jack is unsuccessful in getting Greenlee to call off the wedding.  Erica reminds David of their deal.  David and Greenlee are pronounced husband and wife.  Gayle slips away from Erica.  Adam’s inclined to name Brooke Editor-in-Chief at Tempo and considers having Annie work with her.

Greenlee suspects something is going on between David and Erica.  David admits to Greenlee that he teamed up with Erica to try and take Fusion from her.  David insists to Greenlee they they’ll work together to double-cross Erica, which she overhears.  Erica is anxious to find Gayle.  Jake and Ryan think they can use Gayle to destroy David and track her down as she’s about to leave town.  Ryan shows up at Erica’s door when Gayle reveals Erica’s the one who brought her to town in the first place.  Jake has Gayle hidden away in the turret room and is surprised when Greenlee shows up.  Everyone’s vastly disappointed when Miguel fails to show up in Pine Valley.  JR’s condition takes a turn for the worse.  Annie’s jealous of the easy rapport between Brooke and Adam.

Christopher Cousins Makes His Y&R Debut: What Were Your First Impressions of Alan Laurent?

Soap veteran, Christopher Cousins (ex-Cain, OLTL et al), made his first appearance on The Young and the Restless on the Tuesday, April 30th episode of the CBS daytime drama.

As previously reported, Cousins is taking on the role of Ashley’s friend/psychiatrist from Paris, Alan Laurent. In story, the Abbotts flew Alan in from Paris to see Ashley (Eileen Davidson) first-class ticket to Genoa City, no less.

Alan recalls to Traci (Beth Maitland) how Ashley was upset after revisiting the cafe where she had the fight with Tucker (Trevor St. John), and had two different versions in her mind of what actually happened. Traci enlightens Alan that Ashley has been having personality shifts from being assertive, to child-like, to taking tequila shots and having a good ole’ time. In addition, that Ashley is having blackouts with chunks of time gone from her memory.  Traci goes on to say that Billy (Jason Thompson) said he once experienced something like this himself with a personality splinter.

Traci is hoping Alan can talk to Ashley and insist she undergo treatment. Alan firmly explains that he can’t treat her himself, but he will see what he can do.

When Ashley, now as her alter Belle, comes to the Abbott home after chatting with Diane (Susan Walters) at Crimson Lights, she is thrilled to see her old friend, Alan. Eventually, the two head to Society where a concerned Abby (Melissa Ordway) pours them some champagne.

The two talk about Paris as Belle flirts with Alan. She then wonders if he is in town to probe her innermost thoughts. She tells Alan that her family has decided there’s something wrong with her. Alan assures Ashley that he cannot treat her as a patient in the U.S. as he is retired and does not have a license to practice in the states. Alan said he is concerned for her, but would never treat a friend.

Belle tells Alan, “The rumors about my mental breakdown are highly exaggerated.” Belle speaks to the other alters, and thinks Alan is the perfect solution for Ashley. She says, “Time for some joie de vivre.”

What did you think of Christopher Cousins in his new role as Alan Laurent? Will Ashley’s alters get Alan in bed with her? Will she set him up for something more devious? Will Alan figure out what is going on with Ashley and pretend to just be her friend, while somehow treating her multiple personality disorder? Let us know in the comment section below.

AMERICAN IDOL: Katy Perry Makes a Heartbreaking Decision as Top 7 are Revealed

It was dramatic American Idol on Monday night. The episode marked the return of the “Judges Song Contest”, where Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie each serve up a song choice for the contestant to sing, and they must choose one and then figure out who recommended that song choice.

As in the past, when it got down to the bottom two from the at-home voting, the judge who scored the most picks of their song choices by the contestants, was in the drivers seat and could ultimately save one of the two performers to sing another day.

After a night of sterling musical performances by Jack Blocker performing Willie Nelson’s Always On My Mind, Abi Carter doing her rendition of Evanescence’s Bring Me to Life, and Emmy Russell performing her grandmother Loretta Lynn’s classic, Coal Miner’s Daughter, the following were safe after the nationwide vote.

Photo: ABC

The aforementioned, Blocker, Russell and Carter, plus Will Moseley, Triston Harper, and Julia Gagnon. However, that left McKenna Faith Breinholt and Kaibrienne in the bottom two. At that point, Katy Perry conferred with her co-judges and announced with tears in her eyes, in an almost impossible choice for her, to save Breinholt, thus Kaibrienne’s run on ‘Idol’ came to an end.

Photo: ABC

The episode also welcomed back former Idol contestants Danny Gokey, Melinda Doolittle and Colton Dixon for a performance of “Shackles,” in honor of former Idol contestant, Gospel artist, and Grammy-winner, Mandisa who passed away earlier this month at 47.

So, did America get the Top 7 right? Did Katy do right by keeping McKenna for the Top 7 and sending Kabrienne home given her choices? Are there too many country artist contestants left in the mix? Share your thoughts via the comment section below. But first watch what happens when the final 7 are whittled down and Katy’s anguised decision.

On the Monday, April 29th episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, our two sleuths, Deacon (Sean Kanan) and Finn (Tanner Novlan), are looking for clues that Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) could be alive, especially after the homeless man (Clint Howard) tells them he saw a woman in their photo go into an abandoned building and he heard screaming until suddenly it stopped.

Deacon and Finn decide they have to go inside the dingy vacant building and search for Sheila. Once inside, Deacon is overcome, saying, “It’s awful in here. Like something died.” Finn keeps calling out his mother’s Sheila’s name. Eventually, the two end up at a locked gate and see a rat.

Next, they bust open the padlock to the gate and make their way down a flight of stairs, and then split up. During the search, Finn is hearing Sheila and Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) voices in his head, but take his flash flight and spots an old mattresses, garbage and a blanket.

As previously reported, Kimberlin Brown is back as it appears Sheila is alive, and her lookalike Sugar is the person that Steffy stabbed in self-defense. Now the question becomes, what will happen to Steffy when she finds out that Sheila is alive, and she killed the wrong person?
